Now, let's just add this... since we were recently speaking of 'underground streams' and the site of Montezuma Well in Arizona... the site of the ancient dwelling place of the 'Anasazi'... The phrase "Et in Arcadia Ego" translated into English has been interpreted to mean "Even in earthly paradise, I (Death) exist."
The theme of 'Arcadia' was prominent in Elizabethan literature, and it appears in the works of writers such as Edmund Spenser, Sir Phillip Sidney, and even Shakespeare, for whom the word was synonymous with the Golden Age." ...
The 'Prieure documents' claim that the Arcadians were descended from Benjamites driven out of Palestine by their fellow Israelites for idolatry. 'Arcadia' was also known to as the source of the River Alphaeus, the 'underground stream' which figures so prominently in Coleridge's poetry and in esoteric literature. The Merovingians were 'sacred kings' who reigned but did not rule, leaving the secular governing function to chancellors known as the Mayors of the Palace. It was the one of the Mayors, Pepin the Fat, who founded the dynasty that came to supplant them - the Carolingians.ahnen.greyfalcon.us/treasure2.htmlWell, how do you like that?

But, most of all, I 'thank you' for this... Happy 'thanks giving,' friends... And the forest will echo with laughter...I can't wait. I think I'll start now...

And the 'Stars,' of course... 'Thank you' for the Stars...

Now, as I was looking at these 'angry chairs,' I noticed something, and I think I'll just go ahead and share it with you, even though I haven't had any time to really contemplate it... I just believe that I'm right about this; see if you see what I see... You see the tassels hanging from the seat of this chair? This is important... Now, look at Dagobert's throne again... see the holes at the bottom of the seat? I'd be willing to bet my lucky quarter that there were tassels threaded through those holes at one time... tassels. But, the important question to ask is, "Why are the tassels important?... they're missing." That's right... they are. And, they are important to the chair... And do you know what...? I think I know where to find them... "As Saunière lay on his deathbed, a priest was called from a neighbouring parish to hear his final confession and administer the last rites. The priest duly arrived and retired into the sick-room. According to eye witness testimony, he emerged shortly thereafter, visibly shaken. In the words of one account, 'he never smiled again'. In the words of another, he lapsed into an acute depression that lasted for several months.
"Whether these accounts are exaggerated or not, the priest, presumably on the basis of Saumière's confession, refused to administer extreme unction.
"On January 22nd Saunière died unshriven. The following morning his body was placed upright in an armchair on the terrace of the Tour Magdala, clad in an ornate robe adorned with scarlet tassels. One by one, certain unidentified mourners filed past, many of them plucking tassels of remembrance from the dead man's garment." www.rennes-le-chateau-rhedae.com/bedu/endofdream.htmlUpright, in a chair... with scarlet tassels... in remembrance... Of the Once and Future King, maybe...? Now, in all fairness, this particular website goes on to say that this story turns out to be somewhat an 'urban legend,' and that the 'truth' is slightly less 'provocative,' let's say... than the popular, if not romanticized, account given above. But the important question to ask is this... Why did they tell this story at all...? Why did they relate this symbolism to this person in this way...? There is surely a reason, and we can probably surmise that the story passes along some important information to the discerning listener... And, somewhere, between the lines, are the threads of some scarlet tassels...

Well, let's begin this night by picking up somewhere near the place that we left off last night, before I try to move on to other items of interest on another thread, maybe... this thread was mainly here to give short, random commentaries on various daily topics that were of interest... to me, at least. In the main (or better still, on the Main... lol), I feel that I've succeeded with/at it, as it is, but every once in a while, I may expand on a particular theme here, that might have been better served elsewhere... such a the 'angry chair' thing, which probably merited its own 'headline.' Still... I like it here. I hope you find at least a few of the same things interesting that I do... and I'm fairly certain that you do... or have. Please excuse me; I just indulged myself in three-quarters of a can of beer... and 'God' knows what might happen. It's been a while... but, evidently I didn't forget how. That was probably a little bit too easy... it's that Nikki Sixx show. That's what it is. Bad company... oh... no, right... Motley Crue... Lololol... And, hay, how did your lead singer make out? I've still got a quarter... And, the answer is... between once and 7,000 times...

Okay, now, see... that was a whole lot of fun and everything, but totally unrelated to anything that I've been talking about... so far, at least. And, I should probably try to keep it that way, if you know what I mean... I'd really like to believe that at least one or two of you know what I mean by now... and I think that you do... or, at least, I hope that you do... which is why I keep coming back. Well, that, and the fact that I enjoy it... communicating, that is. I always have... whether I communicated through pictures and symbols (as in advertising design), or I communicated through the written word (as a writer), or even the communication of the eyes (as I must communicate with many of my friends now, that are 'non-verbal'); to 'communicate' is to find 'common ground' with another sentient being... and it is a wonderful thing. Sadly, the 'art' of 'communication' is becoming 'lost,' due to the fact that most people choose to find their 'common ground' with other sentient beings in less valuable ways... and so, our mutual 'common ground' has become lowered... to the level of someone's parents' basement... mostly. Again, sad but true... Now, it may seem to the casual observer here that there is not much 'communication' going on, but... they would be wrong. This forum is true-ly 'radioactive'... And for this, too, I give 'thanks,' and may 'God' bless the reading of the Word...

So, let's finally cut to the chase, and ask the important question... Which is... "Why did Merlin nickname young Arthur 'Wart'?" I'll tell you why... The toad was the original symbol of France, and not the lily, as is shown here... The historical coat of arms of France were the golden fleurs-de-lys on a blue field, used continuously for nearly six centuries (1211-1792). Although according to legend they originated at the baptism of Clovis, who supposedly replaced the three toads that adorned his shield with three lilies, they are first documented only from the early 13th century. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_emblem_of_FranceSo, the shield of Clovis was said to bear three toads... and Arthur 'the Bear' is a 'wart'... You see...? It's the magic x-ray glasses... Semper Boffo, eh, 'Ratty'...? Three-quarters of a beer... thank goodness my glass wasn't full...

Which almost explains why lilies traditionally 'grace' the graves of the dead...
A beautiful way to be remembered, don't you think?
And then... they soon forget...
Mostly.

So, now, I'd like to respond specifically to the 'Weezer' tune that I just heard, a little bit earlier this evening... serendipitously, it's titled Beverly Hills... Now, the important question to ask here is 'Why is that so serendipitous?' Well... I'll tell you... Lolol... Because... I had a thread on another forum, specifically Masonic in nature, I assume, but... I had a thread that had to do with the 'Beverly Hillbillies,' and some of the symbolism that was included in that particular show that was of a most occult/hermetic Nature. Believe it or not... but you can believe it, because that show had a really large audience, which included me. I loved it. And what better way to pass along certain 'information' than with a wink, and a smile...? Eh...? So, I'm going to begin a thread here to go over some of that again, because it really is priceless... I think you'll see what I mean. To begin... I am going to make a quick comparison for you, and see if you see what I see... which, unless you've also consumed three-quarters of a can of beer (in definite contradistinction to malt liquor... Bob? Tom? Can I use that word without seeming too... much smarter than a fifth-grader... what? And let's face it, most people aren't, according to the popular TV show), you probably won't... but, hay... here goes... Now... in the show, the sign of Gemini, the Twins, is symbolized by two of the main characters (or is it one? So confusing)... since it seems to figure largely in the current 'egregore,' let's say... or 'storyline,' we might also say... as shown by the frequent poster avatar references to Gemini... Mr. Gemini, Gemini Girl, Gemini Cricket... I made that last one up... lol... To wit, I give you the 'twin' characters of Jethro and Jethrine (which is obviously just Jethro in a wig and a dress... obviously)... Am I right...? Now, try to sit back a spell (lololol), and watch the whole episode; it's knee-slapping Good. If you really can't spare the time, cut to 20:14 and check out the end... Reminds me of a 'Nirvana' video... Oh, yeah...

Well, it's 12:11, and I think I'll cash in my chi(m)ps for this night... 12:12... maybe I should double down... Lolol... Okay, then... the secret word is... Catfish. Sun in Leo... moon in Pisces. Catfish. "I just loooooooove catfish..." If you know what I mean... Good night, all...

Wow... this must be a great day after all... Tommy Lee just showed up to tell some poor biatch that they've been donkey-punched... Roflolol... But, on the bright side, I do know somebody in 'marketing' that has a special 'feel' for the 16-22 year old audience... the thing is, it can't be 'contractural' advertising, under the circumstances... it's the Nature of the 'business'... I can give you his card... He got his 'cheap-skin' in design, I believe... specializing in 'bat-wings'... And so... somewhat battered (if not smoked), and yet, unbroken... let us go on... But, first... I'd like to say 'hay' to my old 'friend,' "Windy"... From the album, "A Different Kind of Truth"... forecast for possible snow tomorrow... I think I'll burn my sheets.

Let's continue briefly with the 'Wart' and associated 'Toad' symbolism... this quote will have to be copied by hand, so it will take just a minute... I think it's worth while, and I hope they don't mind too much... When Pete Kroonenberg first wrote the history of the World Scout Badge, it was taken up by Scout Magazine around the world. Many readers found the article controversial and it brought protests from those who thought the conclusion that the badge of the French royal family evolved from a toad was insulting. One of his best friends in scouting, the late Claude Marchal, the well-known French collector and owner of the Scouting and Guiding Museum in Bullet, Switzerland, was filled with indignation and demanded that further publication be stopped. As you can imagine, this was not a pleasant state of affairs for either of the two friends.
In 1996, Claude, as a good Frenchman, went to Reims and on entering the cathedral, spotted the tapestry displaying King Clovis on horseback, wrapped in his mantle that was covered with... a large number of toads! Much surprised, but good sport that he was, he did not hesitate. He went to a souvenir stall, bought a picture postcard depicting the tapestry and sent it to Piet with the short text added: "!"scoutguidehistoricalsociety.com/fleur.htmYou see, boys and girls, it pays to be a 'good scout'... Lololol... You won't get so many cold sores, although 'bugs' seem to be everywhere... *sigh*
