So, I mean, this is really 'nice,' because my friend is a 'big' fan of Tommy Lee's... He says he's a great drummer... too... That didn't really impress me as much, since I had a 'Tommy Lee' of my own, once upon a time... the problem was, pretty much what Van Halen said... again... And don't make me play 'Ice Cream Man'... please... Lactose intolerant... yeah... that's the ticket...

Oh... and for those of you who seem to believe that I don't believe in change... That's just ludakris... Lol... Of course, I believe in change; I see it done every day. From one face to another... one name to the next. Needless to say, the nature of life here is 'change,' and we can hardly avoid it, so it is best to just accept things, as they evolve, I suppose. After all, they say that monkeys did finally figure out how to use sticks... once they pulled their opposable thumbs up out of their... donkey-shows. And I'm entirely willing to celebrate that... With an appropriate drum solo, I think... Harry? Sometimes, the more things change, the more they remain the same... If you know what I mean... I don't bear any real grudges... and I'm even willing to smile... I just don't want to go there again; I'm looking for some real change. 'Real' being the key Word here...

Do you know what I really want to hear...? It goes something like this... Or maybe this... Or this... I'm not too excited about 'civil wars,' myself. Now, I have to get ready to go to work... I hope you have an enjoyable time this evening; I'll be thinking of you all...

Well, I hope that you all passed an enjoyable Sabbath Day, today... possibly you had one or two things left to be 'thankful' for, having expended most of your energies in that direction on Thursday, I'm sure... Today, I have a most wonderful report to make... true-ly. Almost miraculous, really, considering... and I couldn't wait to tell you all about it, since mostly nothing really remarkable seems to happen to me... aside from the occasional 'foo fighter,' flying dragon, and flaming star, I suppose... nothing much... lol... In fact, lately I've been feeling kind of 'down,' because I hear the 'messages'... I know my own deficiencies, of course... so much better than any of 'you' ever could, thank you very much... but, regardless of those 'insufficiencies,' I am only a girl, after all, and I can't help wishing that after all this time, there might still be a 'happy ending' for me, too... just like the stories. Still, being a 'living dead girl' has its... problems... and they often seem somewhat insurmountable. I would seem to be 'doomed' to my solitude here, because... let's face it... I don't know how many others like me I'm going to find here, who won't notice so much... and sometimes it makes me... very sad. Remember the scene in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" where she's at the prom... alone... and then Luke Perry comes in, and she finally gets to dance? He says, "Buffy, you're not like the other girls..." And she says, "Yes, I am..." Yes. I am. Anyway, something really great and unexpected happened today, that 'raised my spirits' significantly, and for which, I can't help giving thanks... A man that I've never met before, in a red pickup truck (a Toyota Tacoma, coincidentally... lol), blew me a kiss at the intersection today, and waved... a couple of times. I smiled... and he followed me. He flashed his lights behind me down the street, and I finally decided to pull over. I rolled down the window and he reached in and gave me a short peck on the lips and said, 'You're beautiful...' and then he kissed me again, and said, 'You have beautiful eyes...' and as I was trying to understand what was going on, he kissed me again (a Good One), and asked me my name, and whether or not I was single. He undershot my age by a good ten years, and what a good sport, I must say... I never got his name, but he continued on to say that he had just suffered the loss of his brother, but that in spite of that, he was grateful... grateful that he got to be there, grateful that he had the money at his disposal to do so, grateful that his brother was a 'trooper,' right to the end... and I couldn't help smiling. Somebody was giving thanks... with a smile on their face... and a kiss for a lonely stranger... And I just had to say, 'thank you,' too... It was catching... kind of like a weird cold sore... only better... Bless you, 'Kissing Bandit,' wherever you are tonight... And 'thank you' for the Light... So as to keep it 'light'... you know... nothing serious...

Hay... and welcome back... You'll excuse me, but I have to work again tonight; the night-watch, I guess. I don't mind so much... I get Stars... and maybe an extra day off later this week, but for now... I'm liking my telephone a lot less than I did an hour ago... I told you 'bugs' were everywhere, didn't I...? And hummningbird drones, as well, evidently... so unfair. I love hummingbirds...

I'd just like to say quickly, before I begin... He's right, you know. I can't say how or why I know, but trust me... he's right. I suppose that he's a Good One for advice, after all. Me...? What do I know? I'm really just a blacksheep... with a little bit of polish. Hay...

Yep... that's right... Only 22 more days until Christ-mas... Am I feeling the pressure? What do you think...? Why, I'm an absolutely model 'train-wreck'... Happy Holidays to the gang at MIT... and keep those 'Foo counters' turning...

You know, I think this would make a great 'Xmas Card' for somebody... it actually looks like a fir tree... you know... a Christ-mas tree... don't you think? And, just what does the MIT 'tech model railroad club' have to do with 'hackers,' you ask? Well, interestingly... The hacker ethic started at MIT's Tech Model Railroad Club in the late 50's and then progressed into computers and hacking phone lines into the 60's...brockreeve.com And watch the syntax...

'Morning, All... Great request tune, by the way... I'm positively inspired... In fact, I feel like singing... Take me down to Vatican City, Where my shoes are red, And the basement's pretty...No... not that one... although... I understand that the angels really do want to wear your shoes... ;} Mostly, Al's son... oddly... My aim is True...

And, just to point out the 'serendipity' of the moment, Carl... Ten thousand, seven hundred dollars... isn't that right? That's 10,700... 10700... Taking away the 'zeroes'... gives us... 17... Arcanum 17... Hope... or the Blazing Star. How do you like that? Nothing up my sleeve...

And speaking of serendipities, I understand that they are remaking yet another film version of the story, Peter Pan; it is interesting to notice, I think, that they are dropping the 'Peter' from the title, in favor of 'Pan.' Just 'Pan.' Most interesting, indeed...

And, to our new 'friend' Zimmer101... Are you, by any chance, related to the Youtube poster known as Zimmer1? They evidently haven't done any real posting for a while, but anybody can enjoy a comeback... Isn't that right...? Oh, my... it's "Wynona's Big Brown Beaver"... Big Gay Al was impressed... as were the 'dwarves,' by the looks of it... Droll. Very droll... And, to which, I say... "Go Ducks, you son of a bitch." Lololol...

Cue dying giraffe sound, Christoph... With a wink and a nod to the poster formerly known as 'Pingu,' with the 'giraffe on a bicycle' avatar... I remember that he was 'disappointed'... I was sorry to hear it, but surely, there's a fat-bottomed girl out there somewhere... at least one... Get on your bikes, and ride... But, next time, could we hear something else by Queen? I prefer this one... Not to mention the jacket... very nice...

Wow... thanks for the 'Stairway'... I was just saying to myself this morning that it was a shame I didn't hear 'Stairway' much anymore, it didn't seem like... Well, there was the other night... Seems like forever... Well, I just wanted to say that feel fairly inspired, and I think I'll go make my Christ-mas post now, and leave you with another 'goodie' for your Tree... I think I'll leave some goodies right here, as a matter of fact... A 'Cat-woman,' by the way... If I put out milk, we can 'shake' it... Hohohohoho... And let's throw in a Ramblin' Rose for 'good luck'...
