The 12 Days of Christ-mas... times two

You know, it's very nearly midnight, and I mean to be up in the morning to watch the Sun rise...
And, even though it may seem tonight as if the reasons for celebrating this day are long gone... won't you greet the Morning with the same quiet song of Hope that the Whos sang? The one that speaks of the Love and Goodness which the 'goodies' only represent? The one that speaks of the 'gifts' that Love and Goodness bring us?
Sing it just quietly, if you need to... all by yourself, if you have to...
But, please... just sing, for the coming Day...
With 'spirit'...
And, I'm sorry I couldn't work it out to buy that 'Rosetta stone' before Xmas... it was a really provocative kind of 'adventure,' to be sure... but, I wasn't really looking forward to any real 'treasure' for Christ-mas; although, truthfully, I think there might still be some Magic left out there somewhere...
I'll be looking for it
And, before I go to bed, I want to say 'thank you' to whoever, and whatever, is responsible for having made this year so... True-ly Special. I think I can honestly say that Christ-mas will never be quite the same again...
...and, you know that Santa doesn't really wear women's underwear. That's the Grinch... and I understand he's tied up in a basement somewhere tonight...
