Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a fictional male reindeer with a glowing red nose, popularly known as "Santa's 9th Reindeer." When depicted, he is the lead reindeer pulling Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. The luminosity of his nose is so great that it illuminates the team's path through inclement winter weather.
Rudolph first appeared in a 1939 booklet written by Robert L. May and published by Montgomery Ward.He was the 9th reindeer... Nine... In 1958, Golden Books published an illustrated storybook, adapted by Barbara Shook Hazen and illustrated by Richard Scarry. The book is similar in story to the Max Fleischer cartoon short. It is no longer in print but a revised Golden Books version of the storybook has since been issued.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolph_the_Red-Nosed_ReindeerAnd, doesn't that red nose look a lot like a star to you...? And reindeer come 'from the land of ice and snow... from the midnight sun, where the mushrooms grow...' Well, kind of...

See the 'tree?' It even has 'ornaments'... Heavenly... Possibly the idea for the 'Paradise Tree' of the Christ-ian Mysteries, or even the Christ-mas Tree itself, since it figures in the representations of the completion of the 'Great Work'... So, about the 'lights' on the 'branches'...

What do you get when you cross a 'Typhon' with a 'Killer Queen?' A killer typhoon... maybe... Sorry... 'the devil made me do it.'

Now, just for fun... I want to play a tune that I just heard on the radio... you've really got to listen to this one... it's HOT... lolol... The call letters of the station are --MX, which sounds like 'Mox' to me... and if it's Moxie, it's got to be Good... That's what my father said... "All the hep cats jump for Joy..." I can dig it... Check out the 'rocking' horse... so far out... I just wanted to add that, in the image above, the 'afterburner' shown behind the 'rock-ing horse' sort of makes it appear as if he's 'riding Wildfire,' don't you think...? I mean... given a little bit of imagination... and a pair of magic x-ray glasses... And, of course, the 'Cars' are important... see the little red car in the image above? There's just something about a little red car... I guess... Now, let's see... here's another little red car... It's the 'Foo-Mobile'... yeah... And, since we can't play 'Little Red Corvette' (for God's sake), let's go with this one, by way of illustration. A classic is a classic is a classic, I suppose... Merry Christ-mas, friends... Post number 900... for the Ninth Reindeer... it's just a little bit of Christ-mas 'magic,' maybe...

I have something of a different kind of 'Christ-mas Card' for you tonight... it has a tree, with ornaments, and as I've intimated already, it has to do with a 'girl,'- the one in the tree. The colors are also fairly 'seasonal,' don't you think...? This is described as 'an alchemical image of the Divine Sophia as a Tree of Learning and source of the Elixir of Life'... Interesting... yes? And... she's a 'lady in red'... Lolol...

But siriusly... and notice that it's the Ninth day of December... for the Ninth reindeer... and maybe this, too... Nein... Rammstein... I had some thoughts on the 'pagan roots' of the holiday season that I'd like to share with you; I think it will help to explain the Nature of the Season, and why none of it really 'rings true'... I know I'm not the only one that feels that way. Still, I'd like to feel the 'magic,' again, too, so... maybe we can find it.

Now, regardless your 'religious' and/or 'philosophical' persuasion, most of us have come to the realization, over the last several years, that the Christmas holiday isn't all that we were told that it was; we've been asked to believe in a nativity that didn't exactly take place in the way that you think it did, if at all, and we've been asked to disabuse ourselves of any notions of 'magic,' as depicted by 'flying reindeer' and a man with 'goodies' to give away to 'good girls and boys.' You all want the 'goodies,' but you won't let us believe in them... without a big American credit card number, at least... "Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering."
"What sorrow awaits you experts in religious law! For you remove the key to knowledge from the people. You don't enter the Kingdom yourselves, and you prevent others from entering."
Luke 11:52 Shame on you... And I think I'll continue with this post, just for the Good Juju... I like the numbers... The thing is, someone made the comment to me that "Christmas is really just a pagan holiday," and of course, it is... except that the mistake is made, as soon as you say the word 'pagan.' You see, they've got it all backwards... and that, by the 'mistranslation,' say, of the word 'pagan.' After all, we're talking about a 'celebration' that is as old as the Sun itself, very nearly... as is 'God'... older, really... isn't that right? Before Abraham was, I am...And that is True. Before there was an Abraham, or a Moses, or a Pope, or a Jesus, or a you, or a me, there was 'God'... and therefore, the first worshippers of 'God' here are now known as 'pagans,' or 'heathens,' that need to be 'reformed' in the image of a 'God' that was not known to their fathers... and yet, they knew 'God,' in Glory and Potency, as He was before He was restricted to dogma, and a Church; in the days that He was truly All, and All in All, and men knew Him for what He was... Life, and Light, and communicated Wisdom that allows for the evolution of body and Spirit here. We knew 'Him'... intimately. And what does Immanuel mean, but 'God' with us...? And... this is what we celebrate. In a 'pagan' kind of a way... The 'holly' is another 'pagan' embellishment, 'magical' in nature, and if you don't believe me, just ask Frankie... Or Mr. Bill... Emerson, Lake and Palmer... now, that's kind of 'magical,' right there... Be sure to listen to the words...

Indeed... which brings me to the next part of our 'Christ-mas Story,' which features, interestingly, coincidentally, a group of people that lived... somewhere else... known as the Who's... and that is probably because the important question to ask here is " 'Who' are they?" For the answer, we're going to have to read between the lines... fruit stripe, with any luck... Let's begin with some 'history'... Dr. Seuss began work on How the Grinch Stole Christmas around the beginning of 1957. He had recently completed The Cat in the Hat and was in the midst of founding Beginner Books with Phyllis and Bennett Cerf and his wife, Helen Palmer Geisel. Helen, who had ongoing medical problems and had suffered a small stroke in April 1957, nevertheless acted as an unofficial editor, as she had with previous Dr. Seuss books. Geisel wrote the book quickly and was mostly finished with it within a few weeks. Biographers Judith and Neil Morgan wrote, "It was the easiest book of his career to write, except for its conclusion." According to Geisel,
"I got hung up getting the Grinch out of the mess. I got into a situation where I sounded like a second-rate preacher or some biblical truisim... Finally in desperation... without making any statement whatever, I showed the Grinch and the Whos together at the table, and made a pun of the Grinch carving the 'roast beast.' ... I had gone through thousands of religious choices, and then after three months it came out like that."
By mid-May 1957, the book was finished and in the mail to the Random House offices in New York. In June, the Geisels took a month-long vacation to Hawaii, where he checked and returned the book's galley proof.
The book debuted in December 1957, in both a book version published by Random House and in an issue of Redbook magazine.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_the_Grinch_Stole_Christmas! Interesting, don't you think? But the 'plot' thickens... Stay tuned... like a good serial, we'll continue tomorrow... Hay... that's my Tree... Lololol...

You'll notice that the illustrator above is Chuck Jones, who also did these 'Tom (cat)' and 'Jerry' cartoons... so, we have kind of a weird (grumpy) 'cat' and 'grinch' connection, which is strengthened by the fact that in our little 'Xmas play,' the part of the Grinch will be played by his worshipfulness, the Pope... no kidding. See here...? The arrow and bullseye are very reminiscent of the album/video cover art that I just posted for 'Who Are You?' Lolol... just a coincidence, but hay... Hmmmm... looks familiar... Anyway... Chuck Jones is also responsible for some of my other favorite cartoons... like this one... Ooooooooooooooooooooooo (Eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww)... It's fwwwiiiiiiuuuuuhhhhh... That's 'fire'... believe it or not...

Well, now, this is something of a 'notable' post, I think... the date is 12/12, which 'mirrors' my double-12 Days of Xmas (coincidentally), and this will be the 922nd post for me here... and, 9 and 22 are both important personal numbers for me, so to have them both in one 'figure,' so to speak, seems fairly significant... So... I'm going to 'play' this one for a bit, and wring the Good Juju for all it's worth, how's that? Great... To begin with, the 'request' for Black Betty was much appreciated... I'll rate it a 99, Dick,- I can dance to that... Lololol... and I did, too... And then, there was my own new Xmas favorite... Run, Run Rudolph; the 'Good' version is by Foghat, evidently, and I think I'll just go ahead and play that for you now... and no, 'Virginia,' it's not wrong to like the 'dubious' Xmas carols, such as "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire"... I believe that's my sister's favorite seasonal tune (no, really... when we were kids, she sang it as often as possible). Lololol... I guess it's just part of what makes the season 'happy,'- laughter... by whatever means possible, I'm sure... Now, this is another real 'goodie,' straight from the '70s... it says it was never released commercially; I think that's nice. Considering... 'tis the season, and all... And, of course, all I really want for Xmas... is pretty much the same thing that every other kid in the world wants... truthfully... Well... something like that... The next thing I wanted to cover here is the new release by Queen, which has been 'miraculously' recorded featuring the timeless vocals of Freddie Mercury, and which is really breathtakingly beautiful... I think it's meaningful that it should be released at this particular time, when so many of the other 'stars' of Rock have chosen to make an 'appearance'... and I do believe that he would have wanted to be here, at this time, to share the 'feeling' of the season with us all; glad you could make it, Freddie... And now... even though we're not to 'unwrap' the Xmas gifts until the 'right time,' I thought I might take a quick 'peek' at that Foo Mobile again... and that's funny, because it only has two wheels... see? So... the important question to ask is, "Why does the Foo Mobile have only two wheels?" I'll tell you why... Because it's a Chariot. That's right... they call those 'boxes with wheels'... cars... Horsepower... get it? Lololol... Arcanum 7... Number 7 resonates with the vibrations and energies of the ‘Collective Consciousness’, faith and spirituality, spiritual awakening and awareness, spiritual enlightenment, spiritual development, mysticism, intuition and inner-knowing, inner-wisdom, psychic abilities, the esoteric, inner-selves, deep contemplation, introspection, eccentric, religion, thoughtfulness, understanding of others, natural healer and healing, secrets, myth, ritual, peace, poise, emotions and feelings, inner-strength, endurance and perserverance, persistence of purpose, the ability to bear hardships, quick-wit, the loner, solitary, isolation, long-sighted, the non-conformist, independence and individualism, intentions, manifesting and manifestation in time and space and good fortune. The Ruler - Neptunenumerology-thenumbersandtheirmeanings.blogspot.com/2011/05/number-7.htmlInteresting, don't you think...? From the Seven Days of Genesis to the Seven Seals of Revelation, Scripture is saturated with the Number Seven. Essentially all Biblical scholars, regardless of their stance regarding the meaning of numbers in Scripture, have recognized its special symbolic significance. Simply stated, it is impossible to miss. God laid the foundation of its meaning when He introduced this number in the context of His finished Work of Creation (Gen 2:2f):
"And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."
God introduced the Number Seven as a symbol of the completion of His initial creative act. But the work that He ended on the Seventh Day in the First Book was really just the beginning of the Biblical revelation of all history that He consummated in the Last Book. And it is here that we see the Divine consistency of the Number Seven as a Biblical symbol; God used it with exactly the same meaning when He revealed the end of time, described as the completion of the "mystery of God," in Revelation 10:5ff:
And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
The word translated as finished is the Greek teléo, which generally means to bring to a close, to complete, to end, to fulfill. This word appears again in Revelation 15:1 which explicitly states the reason for seven angels with seven plagues:
"And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; because in them is filled up (teléo) the wrath of God."
This verse displays a double emphasis on temporal consummation; the word translated as last is eschatos, whence eschatology, the study of the end times. God reiterated its connection with the Number Seven a third time in Revelation 16:17:
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.www.biblewheel.com/Topics/Seven_Meaning.phpAnd, one more, for contemplation... The Heptad, say the followers of "Pythagoras," was so called from the Greek verb "sebo," to venerate (and from the Hebrew ShBO, seven, or satisfied, abundance), being Septos, "Holy," "divine," and "motherless," and a "Virgin."
From Nicomachus we learn that it was called "Minerva," being unmarried and virginal, begotten neither by a mother, i.e., even number, nor from a father, i.e., odd number: but proceeding from the summit of the Father of all things, the Monad; even as Minerva sprang all armed from the Forehead of Jove or Zeus.
Hence also Obrimopatrë, or daughter of a mighty father, and Glaucopis, shining-eyed, and αμητωρ and αγελεια, Ametor and Ageleia, she that carries off the spoil.
And "Fortune," for it decides mortal affairs.
And "Voice," for there are seven tones in every voice, human and instrumental: because they are emitted by the seven planets, and form the Music of the Spheres.
Also Tritogenia, because there are 3 parts of the Soul, the Intellectual, Irascible and Epithymetic (desiring), and 4 most perfect virtues are produced. Just as of the three intervals, length, breadth, and depth, there are four boundaries in corporeal existence—point, line, superficies and solid.
It is called "Agelia," from Agelai, herds, as groups of stars were called by the Babylonian sages, over which herds ruled 7 angels.
Also Phylakikos, φυλακικος = preserving, "guardian," because the Seven Planets direct and guide our universe.
Also Ægis, from Pallas Athene, or Minerva, the bearer of the breast-plate or ægis, also Telesphoros, leading to the end, because the 7th month is prolific; and Judgment, because their Physicians looked for a crisis on the 7th day in many diseases.www.sacred-texts.com/eso/nop/nop14.htmRaphael's "Judgement"... Oh, dear... did Led Zeppelin really sing a song called, "Ho, ho, ho?" I don't know... but I did enjoy the "Cheap Trick" version of "Didn't I Ask for You for Xmas?" Yep... sure enough. Happy Hollydays... One more thing, before I 'wrap this one up'... lol... John Dee, our 007, tells us about a 'Hieroglyphic Monad'... A 'symbolic One,' I suppose... it's all very 'mysterious'... The existence of the Hieroglyph links Dee to Rosicrucianism but in what way remains obscure. The Hieroglyph appears on a page of the Rosicrucian Manifesto Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreutz, beside the text of the invitation to the Royal Wedding given to Rosenkreutz who narrates the work.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monas_HieroglyphicaThe very ancient wise men and Magi have transmitted to us five hieroglyphical signs of the planets, all of which are composed out of the signs used for the Moon and the Sun, together with the sign of the Elements and the hieroglyphical sign of Aries, the Ram, which will become apparent to those who examine these figures...www.esotericarchives.com/dee/monad.htm#theorem75 planets + 1 'elements' + 1 'Ram' = 7 (Nation Army)... A real Ramm Jamm... lolol... Magic...

On the twelfth day of Christ-mas, My True Love gave to me 12 Houses, Holy...(Just FYI... this is a Zodiacal 'Moses' from an ancient Synagogue... well, well...) Oh, and... if 'society' insists, we might just as well say 'Happy Holidays'... since we can break it down to 'Happy Holy Days,' which is likely more to the point, anyway... or, it can be 'Happy Holly Days,' if you like, since we've already seen a connection to Holly and particularly, Christmas... magic... lolol... Have it your way... by all means... And, hay... 'Happy Hol(l)y Days'...

Eleven days 'ere Christ-mas, My True Love gave to me 12 Houses, Holy, And 11 stars, a-falling... One for every number in my Name...I decided on this one for today, because it's a True Story... last night, there was an 'asteroid shower,' evidently, and on my short break period, I got to see 11 'falling stars,'- mostly short 'flashers,' but one, in particular, was absolutely... blazing. And, just coincidentally, the numbers of my name total 11... it seemed worth making a note of. And, those 'falling stars' make really beautiful Christ-mas lights, don't you think? I do... Check out the 'fallng star' at 3:40... I have one very much like that at the top of my little tree... Mine is a six-pointed star,- with a tail... Odd... Season's Greetings, All... Better? Lololol...

Now, 'good kids' that we are, I'm going to take a crack at 'unwrapping' at least one of these 'goodies' right now... I think we'll start with that big, alchemical zodiac wheel that I just showed you, above. Here it is... Let's take another look at that, since I don't think you looked at it nearly closely enough... To begin with, let's take the station of 'Aries,' which is pictured here, not as a 'Ram,' but as a Man with the spiraled horns of a ram, and wearing a fleece; the name associated is just as I told you (surprise, surprise, eh?), which is 'Amun.' He is holding what appears to be a spear or rods, maybe... in either case, our sign of Aries doesn't exactly correspond to your 'image' of it, when you read your horoscopes, does it? You see, there seems to be more to the story... Let's take another one... like, Scorpio... when I get back in just a few minutes; for the moment, I've got a hot 'Stones' tune playing on the radio... All right, then... you see that Scorpio is represented here by the figure of Typhon,- the double-tailed merman that we saw in an earlier thread; interestingly coincidental, don't you think? Or not; this figure is numbered 11, and our Aries is number 4 here. Typhon (whom is generally known as an 'adversary' or 'bad guy') is depicted holding the 'thunderbolts' of 'God.' And then, let's look at Capricorn. In this wheel, Capricorn is being attended by Anubis, who is shaking the 'rattle of life' at our Goat-fish, so that he is being 'resurrected,' actually (lol... no harm meant, you know, I just did it myself, but I can edit), and this figure is now given as number 1. Not only that, but the figure of the Sun, which is the 'center' of our universe, or zodiac, is shown as the Winged Sun of the Egyptians... All things considered, I'd say that this particular 'wheel of the zodiac' or 'clock' is Egyptian in nature, and shows a different wheel than the one that we know, right now; the 'information' that is being passed here might be assumed to be Egyptian, in origin, as well, even if it was not a product of the Egyptians... but perhaps, their 'schools.' It is not necessarily a description or depiction of the past, even though it was produced in the past, and so... I can assume that it is a 'relic' or 'depiction' of the future... part of our Mystery, that waits to be 'solved' in the light of a rising Sun... on the dawn of a New Day, perhaps... Abraxas... Abracadabra...
