So, I have to tell you guys that I'm really missing my 'Foo Fighters,' and I'm just not sure why you'd leave them, and/or Nirvana, out of the 'Rock' loop, so to speak... let's face it, they're important to the story. Take this one, for instance... Something From Nothing. In the Sefer Yetzirah, there is a difference described between 'creation' and 'formation,' which, in practical terms, might be thought of as the difference between making something from existing elements, or that which already exists (formation), and producing 'something' from a state of 'nothingness' or 'void,' which can be 'seen' as... thought, or 'imagination,' the Mind, if you Will... creation. And, so... I think I'll go ahead and raise my own Foo Fighters... I seem to be short a few Stars, as well... In all fairness... And don't you worry about 'Justice,'- she may appear to be 'blind,' but she's not really 'stupid'... Everyone will reap as they've sown... in the end... And, that's not a threat... that's a Promise... right, dad? Lololol...

Here's one more 'goodie' for you tonight... I hope you enjoy it as much as I did... Isaiah, Chapter 111And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
5And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.Happy holidays...

And, in 1975 (another '22' year, coincidentally), we have this... Worth watching to the end... And, in the 'Spirit' of the Season, let me add this: Isaiah, Chapter 9The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
3Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
4For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
5For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. The people that walked in darkness... upon them hath the light shined... Beautiful. Merry, merry Christ-mas, friends...

Before we get much farther tonight, I just wanted to take a minute to let you know that I was able to catch your most touching rendition of Porky Pig's Blue Christmas... It was Perfect. You know, sometimes it really is the little things that matter most... And, Carl, I thought I'd tell you that I was really happy to catch that little bit of your show today; the final 'request' for the 'folks on the coast,'- Rock Candy by Montrose, was really... ummm... sweet. And 'thanks,' too, for playing everything that I wanted to hear (pretty much) in a really short amount of time; dare I say that I appreciated it? Or not... okay? But, thanks... for adding some 'candy' to the Tree, so to speak... Christ-mas just hasn't been this much... fun... in... forever... it seems like. It is a strange kind of a Magic, after all... Electric 'Christ-mas Light' Orchestra... sorry...

Now, on a more 'serious' note... if we can apply that here... has anyone else noticed that the current 'incident' with North Korea and the 'showing' of the actual film, The Interview, has a most interesting (and coincidental, I must say) correlation with a certain episode of "South Park?" Season 10, actually; anyway, remember the 'censorship' episode in which the network was going to air an episode of a television show (in this case, and note that it's a cartoon, or 'comedy,' as is our film in question) that made fun of 'Mohammed?' And then didn't... and then did... and what did the townspeople do again, in response? Oh, yeah... they used their 'spades'... Oh, brother... I tell you, you just can't make this stuff up... Speaking of 'Team America,' and all... and we were, weren't we?

Okay, now I've gone and done it... I answered the Sluggo post, when I really meant to add to my Xmas post with this one,- I was going to 'use the numbers,' if you will... and I guess you will, so I will, too. Lolol... The only thing is, I'm going to have to make my addition to that post here, in order to use the 'edit' feature and retain the post number, so... On the Seventh Day before Christ-mas, we will contemplate the number Seven, relative to the meaning of the season... to continue: The Pleiades, a group of seven stars in the constellation Taurus, was thought of mighty power over earthly destiny; there were seven also of the Hyades, daughters of Atlas; and the seven stars which guided the sailors. Ursa Major, in which the Hindoos locate the Sapta Rishi, seven sages of primitive wisdom, are a group of the first importance and are easily recognised...
The Heptad, say the followers of "Pythagoras," was so called from the Greek verb "sebo," to venerate (and from the Hebrew ShBO, seven, or satisfied, abundance), being Septos, "Holy," "divine," and "motherless," and a "Virgin."
From Nicomachus we learn that it was called "Minerva," being unmarried and virginal, begotten neither by a mother, i.e., even number, nor from a father, i.e., odd number: but proceeding from the summit of the Father of all things, the Monad; even as Minerva sprang all armed from the Forehead of Jove or Zeus.
Hence also Obrimopatrë, or daughter of a mighty father, and Glaucopis, shining-eyed, and αμητωρ and αγελεια, Ametor and Ageleia, she that carries off the spoil.
And "Fortune," for it decides mortal affairs.
And "Voice," for there are seven tones in every voice, human and instrumental: because they are emitted by the seven planets, and form the Music of the Spheres.
Also Tritogenia, because there are 3 parts of the Soul, the Intellectual, Irascible and Epithymetic (desiring), and 4 most perfect virtues are produced. Just as of the three intervals, length, breadth, and depth, there are four boundaries in corporeal existence—point, line, superficies and solid.
It is called "Agelia," from Agelai, herds, as groups of stars were called by the Babylonian sages, over which herds ruled 7 angels.
Also Phylakikos, φυλακικος = preserving, "guardian," because the Seven Planets direct and guide our universe.
Also Ægis, from Pallas Athene, or Minerva, the bearer of the breast-plate or ægis, also Telesphoros, leading to the end, because the 7th month is prolific; and Judgment, because their Physicians looked for a crisis on the 7th day... www.sacred-texts.com/eso/nop/nop14.htmNow, the important thing about Minerva is that she represents Wisdom... ...but then, we have this, which I just showed you part of,- the rest was 'veiled,' so to speak... but look... It's actually a representation of Minerva, vanquishing a Centaur, painted by Botticelli... So... it is Wisdom that vanquishes 'the Beast'... and Truth... At least, in this translation... And, interestingly, Plutarch translates the name "Isis" to mean 'Wisdom.' Manley Hall had this to say, which I would like to repeat for you here... I think it's time... The time may yet come when the chants of the Illumined shall be heard once more in its (the Great Pyramid) ancient passageways and the Master of the Hidden House shall await in the Silent Place for the coming of that man who, casting aside the fallacies of dogma and tenet, seeks simply Truth and will be satisfied with neither substitute nor counterfeit. From "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" In other Words, the 'real thing'... Thank you... that was a real 'goodie'... ...unlike whatever it was in women's underwear that you just tried to hand me... I'm guessing that would make it 'under-handed'... Santa's going to get you for that...

Well, before I start in again tonight, I just had to take a minute to say 'thank you, very much' to two people that I never expected to 'hear from' this year... Angus Young and Brian Johnson... oy! (I think that means 'Wow') They made a really special call in to our local station this afternoon, and I must say, it really did make 2014 something extra-ordinary... and thank you to our 'host,' Tony, who provides me with the 'High Voltage' that I just can't do without... You know, I've been dancing to AC DC for... too many years to count, I'm sure... and they still keep me moving... like my own private 'Sistrum,' if you Will... my 'life rattle'... As long as you guys are rockin', I'm rollin'... Thank you again, and may all of the Blessings of the Day be yours,- with a special 'Hello' to Malcolm, of course... whose 'naughty' was always pretty nice... With special thanks to the Youtube poster, 'Thrashzone'... one good one, eh? And one just for me... lol...

Okay, I'm up... I think I just heard the bell ring for 'round 3,'- what...? Centerfield? Lolol... Anyway, just to play some 'catch up'... Thank you for the 'Foo Fighters'... Learn to Fly... someday, maybe, you'll develop a liking for some of the others, too, like Everlong... although, goodness knows I hate to press my luck... I called one of your 'Public Market' advertisers... I really couldn't help myself, although I'm not even sure how I would get there right now; still, it seemed like a perfect opportunity to pick up a real 'treasure' at a good price... and I do like the whole 'public market' idea,- in fact, I like your community there. You all seem to be genuinely nice people who share a concern for your neighbors, and the place where you live, that I find to be rather compelling... it sounds like a wonderful place to be. I do wish you all a very Happy Christ-mas, there in 'Who-ville'... lol... but I'm not so far away, after all... I'll be right back... duty calls... My Gift to You...

I do have a couple of 'goodies' for you this evening, before I have to go, but first, I really have to comment on a statement that was apparently made recently by our president Obama... It seems that he has stated that he is "a Jew at heart." Subsequently, we are now able to refer to him as 'Oy-bama,' which is... fairly paradoxical, if you ask me. My initial reaction was, of course, violent fits of laughter... I believe that I choked out an "Oh, my God," even... but, upon further reflection, it may not be that funny, after all... Remember the Eighth Day...? Traditionally, this is the day of 'circumcision' for Jewish male 'babies,'- and then I recalled these words regarding the rite of circumcision... Jeremiah 4:4Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. And again... Romans 2:28-29 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person's praise is not from other people, but from God.So, it is possible... and, as a matter of fact, he was known to quote Psalm 46... A Psalm of the sons of Korah, set to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;…though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.… God is in the midst of her, she will not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns...…
A 'Delta Dawn,' I imagine... At any rate, I thought, what if there were many 'circumcisions' being done right now...? Perhaps there has been a large 'birth' of 'Jews' lately... so to speak... and my next thought, naturally (lol), was... (And this is the important question to ask, I think...) "What in the World will we do with all of those foreskins...?" But... I have an answer... (Naturally...) I think I know somebody that could use a new set of luggage for Christ-mas... An 'expanding' set... which is lucky, I think... they have a lot of baggage...

I just wanted to start with a smile... that was Perfect... (Tune actually starts at 1:19, which seems rather 'serendipitous,' if you ask me, but who did, right?) And do you want to know why that was 'perfect?' Two reasons... firstly, I love that song,- that has to be one of Deep Purple's most awesome tunes... and secondly, I'm trying to figure out a way to get to North Bend before Christ-mas Eve. I hit up a friend, and they're thinking it over... don't make me hitchhike on Wednesday night... what an adventure... Oh, run, run Rudolph... (I love that one, too...) But, you know what? Even if there isn't any associated 'adventure,' Christ-mas is still going to be special this year, for me... something Will be born, again... and this time, it feels 'personal'... and really 'Real'... I think it's all pretty Wonderful, and my wish for all of you is that somehow, you can feel it, too... Starlight, star bright, Let me hear You in the Stars tonight... I Wish I may, I wish with Might, To 'Be' the Message in the Light...'And so mote it be,' brothers... May we all hear the Message of the Stars this Christ-mas... and sing back... A 'real' Rock Band... Okay... a little Frampton...

Okay, I'm editing this one to keep the post number, because... that's what this post is all about... the 'numbers.' Take this post, for instance... I chose it pretty much at random, but let's take another look at the 'numbers' associated with this video... Recorded in 2009, which is... 2 + 9 = 11... that's nice... And the time is 5:43, which is 5:4 + 3 = 7, or... 57, which is nice... or 5 + 7 = 12, which is also 'appropriate,' under the circumstances... And, it is post number 960, which is 96, which is 69 reversed, and that is important... for several reasons, which we'll get to on the 'second Day,' tomorrow... For now, the important thing to know is that we're 'playing the numbers,' so to speak, on a 'natural roll'... 57, come 11... Momma needs a new pair of red shoes... Be right back...
