You know, I often see things, here and there, that surprise me... pleasantly... and make me smile, if for no other reason than that they somehow 'struck the right chord,' at just the time that I needed to hear it. I can't possibly recall them all, and I apologize for not having taken the time previously to remark on some of the others; believe me, there have been so many 'serendipities' in my life... and I just can't help being grateful. And happy... mostly.
Firstly, let me thank the Youtube poster known as YI666IY, for having posted up 11 little videos that I found quite... gratifying, really. I will show them for you here, and I am most sincere when I say thank you... for your 'selections,' and the time that you took to put this together. If nobody else noticed, I finally did (I see that they were put up in 2012, so I'm kind of late, but I found it looking for Feel Good, Inc., and I usually select by postername or other bit of personal-seeming trivia, just because... I like to make things 'personal,' I suppose. Your postername, for instance... practically screamed my name, once I saw it. Let me show you what I mean, if you don't already know (and I can't help thinking that you do, somehow)...
YI 666 IY ... let's see now... let's turn things around a little bit, let's say we exchange the letters for numbers, and numbers for letters, shall we? Now, we already know that letter-wise, 666 = FOO; so, if Y=4 and I=1 (such as this: 4(/)1...14), which is my birthdate this year... 4 1 14... insert FOO... and there you go... I'm 'you.' backwards. How do you like that?
Anyway... thank you for the videos, even if they weren't really for me... but I can't help thinking...
Oh, well... c'est la vie, eh?
Baaahahaha...
Better tune... you know me Well...
The Green Day is great... good selections, if I do say so myself... and as to 'Shots Fired,' I hear that only one went off; one was a 'dud,' it looks like. So much for shotgun weddings...
But this last one... this one makes me cry. I shouldn't say 'thank you,' but... thank you, masked guitarist... whoever you are... wherever you are...

And then, there was something else that particularly struck me, the other night... You know, I rarely watch television; rarely enough to say never, let's say. Except the other night, after work... I got roped into watching the last part of some national singing competition, of which there seem to be several. I fervently wish that I could sing... I can't. Regardless... just as I was leaving the room, to go to bed, here comes the band 'Coldplay,' so I turned around. And then... there was A Sky Full of Stars... and it was pretty wonderful. It really was. A sky full of stars, indeed... indeed it is. And tonight... there are meteor showers, I believe.
I should go look... I've got a pocketful, you know.
And then, there's this one... one of my personal favorites...
Really, there's so much to be thankful for, isn't there...? Silver bells, and cockleshells, and falling stars... and I can't help thinking to myself, What a wonderful world...
Thank you, Coldplay... for everything... and especially those most Wonderful moments of serendipity that make Life so very worth my trying to sing... or at least, dance. And 'God' knows, that's Good enough for me...

I need to post up just a couple more 'Thank You' notes, if you don't mind... The first one is a quick, but Truly Heart-felt 'Thank You' to Def Leppard for coming to play in our little Cascadia... Eugene... the City that 'Nike' Built... I wasn't able to be there, I'm so very sorry to say, since I had to work (graveyard shift, no less), and I couldn't think of a way to get a ticket, either. I really didn't have the money, and the odds of my winning tickets (since I couldn't really even remember the radio station's phone number off the top of my head) would be about what? Anyway... I couldn't go, and I was quite heartbroken about it. Once in a lifetime... and just an hour away. Kind of a miracle, if you ask me. I was there in Spirit, though... believe it. You don't think I'd miss out on Armageddon It, do you...? Lolol... The thing is, you've always been one of my all-time favorite bands... and the bear paw slippers didn't hurt, either. Hysterical... really...

And then, since I was just talking about an old 'friend,' to whom I referred with the candle, and who also loves roses, to all appearances, at least... it seems as if I should just simply say, 'Thank you, for being a friend,' I suppose. The postername that they used was once '141' (One for one), but then it changed to '142' (or, One for Two)... that was kind of odd... and then, they changed it back to '141,' but now One has to wonder if it was the same One, or another one? I do... wonder, that is... but it rarely pays. You know... I've heard that it's possible to think too much; overthink things. Frankly, I'd have to say that I just keep looking at things, until they make sense... mostly, they're upside down, and it does make it somewhat awkward, mostly. Awkward, indeed... But anyway... thank you for being a friend, I'm sure. I can think of others, as well... from time to time, I'd like to mention them, as well, even if they are no longer very friendly, or part of my life, in any 'real' sort of a way. It all goes to experience... and they don't call it the 'School of Hard Knocks' for nothing, right? Sometimes you get broadsided with a 'spirit stick.' Thank you for being a friend... I threw in some guns with the roses, because I understand that it's foolish not to 'get along' with your neighbors, and especially if they're 'packing heat.' It was 'friendly' advice, I'm sure, but... Let's just leave it at that for now, I think. Oh, and... Cheers, 141...
