Not to mention, Happy April Fool's Day... But, all kidding aside, it is my birthday (April 1), and the rest of it may or may not be so funny... '16' is the number of the Temple, after all, and the Truth is, I'm working on it... no joke.  I've taken a somewhat lengthy break from posting; I apologize... I really do. I can only explain it by way of saying that I had a kind of 'call' to 'silence,' and I don't know how else to say that; it just seemed somewhat important to me to keep my thoughts to myself, and not 'feed off of' any other thoughts that might be circulating, for better or worse. Not only that, but I wanted to 'rest,' so to speak, and let my own thoughts come to me... or maybe rather, let my thoughts organize themselves with contemplation on some of the things that I already 'knew.' I have a lot to say... I really do. It's almost... awesome, sometimes... the serendipities, the connections and interconnections, the wonderful humor and the overwhelming 'rightness' and 'wrongness' of it all; I am most truly a-mazed. All puns intended today, and no holds Barred, so to speak... It's a Great Day for a Foo(el)... a really great day. I'm happy that you could be here, if you are... and I have some things for you today, that I think you're going to enjoy. I know I did... and you know what I got for my birthday? A pocketful of stars. Yep. I can show you one or two... the other one was just for me. I got the first one on 3/1, 30 days before 4/1 (today), and I'll show it to you soon. Today. The second one was just for me, I guess, since you can't see it, but it came on the eve of 3/15... at the halfway point, and it was an actual 'blazing star,'- a really long and magnificent comet that moved across the night sky, just as I was getting out of my car. It lasted for a few seconds, and I couldn't help thinking that it was pretty special. Then, just this last week, I found a whole Woman of Stars... a true Vitruvian Woman... a bit of a turnaround, but that shouldn't be surprising at this point; everything is backwards and upside-down here, after all. And that's really no joke, either. At any rate, welcome to my House, and to my Birthday... I'm going to have some fun today. We can start here... So, about the number 16, specifically... Symbolism
Indicate the achievement of the material power.
Being considered as the "final" number of the emanation, it represents the Incarnation completed, according to Abellio.
According to R. Allendy, it represents "the role of the Karma 6 in the cosmic unit 10. This role consists in creating a current of evolution (1 + 6 = 7) but towards two opposite directions, so that, by itself, 16 even number, is unable to choose." As a product of 2 x 8, it is the positive evolution leading to the karmic liberation, or the negative evolution leading to an increasingly tight sequence in the cycles of nature.
For J. Boehme, this number represents "the Abyss", or the hell, opposed to the nirvana.
According to Creusot, it symbolizes the construction and the destruction.
According to Guy Tarade, it is the number of Lucifer.
Now, that was interesting, particularly that bit about the 'abyss'... in light of the next '16' that I would like to present for your consideration, so to speak... this is the text of the book of Numbers, Chapter 16:

39 Then Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, wherein they had offered, whom the burning fire had devoured, and beat them into plates, fastening them to the altar:
40 That the children of Israel might have for the time to come wherewith they should be admonished, that no stranger or any one that is not of seed of Aaron should come near to offer incense to the Lord, lest he should suffer as Core suffered, and all his congregation, according as the Lord spoke to Moses.
41 The following day all the multitude of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron, saying: You have killed the people of the Lord.
42 And when there arose a sedition, and the tumult increased,
43 Moses and Aaron fled to the tabernacle of the covenant. And when the were gone into it, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.
44 And the Lord said to Moses:
45 Get you out from the midst of this multitude, this moment will I destroy them. And as they were lying on the ground,
46 Moses said to Aaron: Take the censer, and putting fire in it from the altar, put incense upon it, and go quickly to the people to pray for them: for already wrath is gone out from the Lord, and the plague rageth.
47 When Aaron had done this, and had run to the midst of the multitude which the burning fire was now destroying, he offered the incense:
48 And standing between the dead and the living, he prayed for the people, and the plague ceased.
49 And the number of them that were slain was fourteen thousand and seven hundred men, besides them that had perished in the sedition of Core.
50 And Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the tabernacle of the covenant after the destruction was over.
Well, now... the 'Lord' did a 'new thing,' all right... Enter 'Hell'... better known as the 'Pit' or 'Abyss' to which the 'unrighteous' (or, those who will not 'follow') are consigned... previous to this, there was death, but no 'abyss' of punishment such as this 'hell' which seems to be the peculiar and particular property of the 'Lord,' who subsequently 'revealed' (or 'reveiled, they say, is a better Word) the 'law' through this Moses, in such memorable passages as 'Thou shalt not kill,' and 'Love thy neighbor as thyself.' The good news, I suppose, is that they were swallowed up alive into the pit... and therefore, there is every Good reason to believe that there were survivors; an 'underground stream,' if you will, that still flows... And on that score, I proceed with my Thesis, which is...? That Justice will be done, that the 'Good God'/Osiris will actually be 'raised' in Truth by 'Isis,' who finally puts together the scattered pieces which she recovers from their hidden places, and the Prisoners of Hope will step forth from the Abyss (or Hell, as you Will) in order to prove, definitively, the nature of the treachery that continues as the driving force of the Judaeo-Christian religious system, which is the source and center of the true 'synagogue of Satan,' and the modern power-brokers that you mistakenly give the name of 'Illuminati,' who know nothing of enlightenment, but merely 'ape' what they are able to discern of real 'Magick,' which they further designate as 'science.' And, I'm afraid that... unless, and until, 'Hell' is 'emptied' of its 'prisoners'... You are all doomed. Lolol... I suppose that we should get to work. |
