Of Brains and Onions, and the Journey through Everything

I know that I haven't been here for about a week now... I've been working, and I have five 'graveyard' shifts a week, in a row, plus other various duties during the day that seem to keep me in a state of... perpetual tired, if you know what I mean. I sleep, a lot, but I justify it with the fact that I 'earned' it... the hard way.
Anyway, it's not that I'm not thinking... I do a lot of that at night, when I can... and just lately I've been thinking about my brain, and onions, of all things. I've been giving a lot of thought to that 'ninety percent' of our brain that science tells us is 'unused;' for myself, I could probably stand to recover any percentage of it that I possibly can, if I possibly can. And then I decided that maybe all of that brain isn't actually 'unused' as much as it is 'unrecognized.' And that would be possible if my brain were sort of sectioned off... like an onion. It's even got 'membranes;' with an onion, the membranes seperate the 'rings' or 'layers' or 'sections' of the onion, which is itself, a whole unit... and these membranes serve as 'veils' of sorts, between, if you see what I mean, in the brain onion.
Now, what are these 'layers' used for, and what purpose do they serve? I believe that each 'layer' is used to translate different levels of 'signals' or 'sensory input' into the brain, most of which, we are unable to recognize in our ordinary daily third-dimensional human existence. This is for our own protection, mostly, since we are forced to relate to this world in a third-dimensional way in order to co-ordinate ourselves with it. We must be mostly conformed to the physical limitations of the third dimension, and our selves relative to it, in order to perform in this world; that is a natural fact. It is also a further natural fact that there are in existence known areas of sound and color (at the least) that we are unable to experience or process normally, such as the tones made by a dog whistle, as a very simple example... and then there is the further ends of the light spectrum... and beyond, I imagine... so much more... everywhere... it is somewhat mind-boggling, only to consider, much less to experience constantly, or process consciously, I would think. And therefore... the onion brain.
I believe that each 'veiled' or 'membraned' portion of our brain actually does recognize and process, continually, this other 'input,' of which our third-dimensional 'layer' is incapable of either recognizing, or processing, and continuing to function 'normally.' That we are capable of both recognizing and processing these other various higher 'signals' would seem to be implicit in the fact that we are said to be created in the express image of 'God,' and that 'He' would necessarily understand the 'working' of all input... and that therefore, so are we, by 'birthright.' It also seems foolish to me to believe that we have, for all of these years, supported an organ which is almost totally 'unused,' or 'useless' to the body that it inhabits. In fact, I don't believe it.
Now, the Cainites believed that one had to complete something known as the 'Journey Through Everything,' in order to become 'perfected,' so to speak. Of course, there is human experience which might account for such a thing, but I think that it goes 'deeper' than that... I believe that it means that you have traveled through each of these spheres (of which I believe that there may be 10... nine gates, and all), and come through to realize that it is a 'whole onion,' you know...? These may be the 'powers' represented by the 'planets,' which the alchemists say do not represent planets at all... so what do they represent? So much to think about... so much to process... lol...
Now, these 'layers' can't be accessed on a 'normal' level, since much of the input (on a continuous conscious level) might make one rather 'crazy,' I could imagine... lol... so that it is necessarily recognized and processed only on a 'subconscious,' or better maybe, 'superconscious' level that is only accessible during periods of... sleep. Ah... to sleep, perchance to 'dream,' eh...? What thoughts might we be processing in our 'off hours?'
Just a little something to think about, until I can continue with the 'Journey Through Everything,' which will be next, probably by necessity. And we all know that's the 'Mother' of Invention, right?
Right...
I'll have mine with onions...
Baahahaha...
