Oh, yes... this cartoon from the early 1960's would seem to be telling us that there is, all right... I loved this one. Notice that the villain is named 'Dishonest John,' they sail on a ship (even on land), and little Beany (which reminds me of 'bean-stalk' or 'branch/vine,' for some reason) has a Nautonier (Navigator)... Look at the names of some of the titles... just for fun.  |
