My Theory on 'Time' and why 'Time Travel' Can't Work...

So... to get back to the problem of 'time travel'...

'Time,' in my estimation, is really more of a 'force' than a unit of measurement... we can see that 'Time' leaves its mark on things in the physical arena, and that it 'wears' on things. This, in spite of the seemingly obvious fact that you, and I, and all other things have their existence (in all reality) in only this present moment... which moment is expanded (or expands) indefinitely, in spite of our own recognition of the moment, or lack thereof. You can never, ever move beyond the moment of 'Time' in which you exist at that moment... in all truth, nothing else exists outside of this moment. And within the expansion of this tiniest point of the 'present' alone lies all of the possibility of 'eternity,' which is only the one single moment, infinitely expanded. But how would that happen...?

Time actually fills all space, at least physically, for nothing can exist outside of 'time' here... this is the truth. We recognize three aspects of 'time'... the past, the present, and the future, which together make up 'Time' as a whole. You recognize that there is a past, since you 'remember' it; you know that there is a 'present,' since you are standing in it, as it were; and you understand that there is a 'future,' because as each moment passes, you look forward to the 'next,' which (since it does not yet exist in reality) must be the 'future.' And, as far as 'past' and 'future' go, we have memories of both... the memories of the 'past' are more easily accessible, since we have already 'been there,' but in the same way that we can see 'backwards' in our memories, I believe that we can also see 'forward,' in a way... and this 'forward memory' is called 'deja vu.' Some people are more easily able to access this 'forward memory;' my father, for instance, experienced it many times, and it impressed him enough to remark on it when it happened. I thought about that many times... how that can be 'true,' or possible, since I could trust the source of the information, and had no reason to doubt that it was happening just as he said. I know that you all have your own examples of it, it's not that uncommon, really.

So... in order to access this 'memory,' there must be place where it is 'stored,' just the same for the past, as for the future. Assuming then, that 'time' in its truest essence, constitutes a 'force,' or two 'forces,' actually, which make up the 'past' and the 'future'... you can try to picture it as two 'fuzzy' or 'electic-like' areas, which are constantly colliding with each other... since they do. The past always meets the future in one little place... which is this moment of the present. The 'collision' of the two forces of 'past' and 'present' create a single point of expression (ex-press-ion) between them, which spirals out at this single point of contact, creating an endlessly spiraling moment of existence, which is known as the 'present.' It is the only point at which anything 'truly' exists, and yet... we recognize the existence of both past and future, which cannot, in all reality, exist simultaneously in the same moment as the present. This theory of mine allows for the possibility and reality in 'time' of all three... you see?

Now... the problem of 'time travel' arises within the actual nature or 'constitution' of these two areas, or forces, known as the past and the future. Now, at this point, I would also like to point out that this gives the phrase 'God of Forces' a whole new meaning, really... and it points to Kronos, the 'god' of 'Time.' If you see what I mean...

This will be my next post, and I really hope that some of this will bring some sort of commentary... I mean, as a concept, I believe that it is somewhat unique, to say the least... and I will go on with the why's, just to put it out there. I suppose that if I'm going to be 'crazy,' I might as well...
