Entry number three...

I need to make an entry to my journal today, just to mark my passing, so to speak, and I thought that this would be a good place to put down a thought that came to me as I was reading, earlier, and that I wouldn't know quite where else to place. I've had two dreams within the last several years that were particularly striking; in both, I woke up in tears, and unlike the other dreams that I've had, these two remain quite vivid in my mind. This has to do with the second dream, which I asked 'Saxon' for an explanation of once, and I never received a really satisfactory answer, although I thought that I understood it on one level, at least... it seems that there may be more.
In the dream, I could hear a voice telling me that "You are a good looking little shrub," to which I replied, "I know... I told you so." I know that I was smiling, and pleased with the 'report,' as I felt that that was what was going on, more or less. At that point, I woke up... very much in tears.
Now, on first inspection, the word 'shrub' in this case could mean 'a small tree,' or something similar... and that could work, in my case. And, it does explain the bits about 'pruning,' that I won't bother to enlarge upon. But what if the word weren't really 'shrub,' after all, but something that sounded like it? Something that meant something else...
I was reading out of the 'Necronomicon' last night and came across an old word... a very old word... which nobody quite seems to know the meaning of, in the context; that doesn't surprise me, since it's Sumerian, but there is a 'meaning,' and from that meaning, we can draw our own surmises. The word was 'Shub,' which... following the dream, might have been recalled as 'shrub,' since there is no conscious context for the other word... yet.
The word 'Shub' is to be found in the Sumerian language in reference to the Rite of Exorcism, one of which is called 'Nam Shub,' and means 'the Throwing.' It is, however, as yet unclear what the combination SHUB ISHNIGARRABB (SHUB NIGGURATH) might actually mean... there is a seeming reference in the NECRONOMICON, in the name of a Sumerian deity, the 'Answerer of Prayers.' Necromancing the Stone, indeed...
Curiouser and curiouser... since my name means... something about a spear, and now we have something about 'a throwing.' And... I found in Sumer a strange 'beast,' with seven 'horns.' Remember the amulet of Chnoubis? Seven rays, or horns... I'll be tying that into a new thread soon. And Mystery, Babylon rides the 'beast,' for now... of course, Sumer is the home of Babylon, and the Sumer-land (Summerland) was known as 'the Island,' due to its position between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. Sounds familiar already, doesn't it...? It does... and then, remember that the Euphrates is named in the 'revelation' of Saint John the Divine. I don't need to elaborate on that, I don't think, but... that is interesting, too, under the circumstances.
And, if the 'Spear of Destiny' was thrown... I wonder just where it landed?
