I'd like to point out just one or two more interesting coincidences, in regard to the subject of 'justice' and the 'Revelations' of John... And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken upon him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should slay him.Genesis 4:13 Now, this is interesting for a couple of reasons, really; to begin with, it is the first instance of an actual 'mark' being used... and this particular mark would be the original "Maker's Mark" or Master's Mark, if you will, which was placed on this most original piece of 'work'. Secondly, it gives us the idea of 'sevenfold' in relation to Cain, and justice, which is what the message of John's revelations is, after all... In the preface notes to the Book of the Revelation, Scofield bothers to point out the number seven as it relates to the 'justice' that is being delivered... John was commanded to "write" concerning three classes of things: 1. Things past, "the things which thou hast seen," i.e., the Patmos vision. 2. Things present, "the things which are," things then existing, obviously, the churches. The temple had been destroyed, the Jews dispersed; the testimony of God had been committed to the churches. Accordingly, we have seven messages to seven representative churches. It is noteworthy that the word 'church' does not occur after III.22. 3. Things future, "things which shall be hereafter," literally, after these. The third major division, as W.J. Erdman points out, falls into a series of six sevens, with five parenthetical passages, making, with the church division, seven sevens. The six sevens are: 1. The seven seals 2. The seven trumpets 3. The seven personages 4. The seven vials or bowls 5. The seven dooms 6. The seven new things.I didn't see seven dwarves, though... I hope you're not going to be too disappointed. Phoenix...

From the book of Hebrews, chapter 11... verse 33,- And what more shall I say? For time will fail me if I tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets, who by faith conquered kingdoms, performed acts of righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong...Now, before we go on, I'd like to look at another version of this 'card' which is here titled 'Lust' and represents the 'reverse' aspect of true Strength, which is an 'overwhelming desire' or 'lust' for 'Power'.- and here, the 'beast' is being 'ridden' rather than being gently led... and further interestingly, this 'beast', which appears to be a lion, has something like... seven heads... Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion...
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear. 1He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast... Numbers 16:1-40 indicates that Korah rebelled against Moses along with 249 co-conspirators and were punished for their rebellion when God sent fire from heaven to consume all 250 of them. Korah's Reubenite accomplices, Dathan and Abiram, were also punished when God caused the ground to split open beneath their feet swallowing them, their families, anyone associated with Korah, and all their possessions.
Numbers 16:41... Furthermore, the Israelites who did not like what had happened to Korah, Dathan, and Abiram (and their families) objected to Moses, and God then commanded Moses to depart from the multitude. God then smote 14,700 men with plague, as punishment for objecting to Korah's destruction.
"Notwithstanding the children of Korah died not"...
According to Numbers 16:21, his lineage goes: "Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi," making him the great-grandson of the patriarch Levi and the cousin of Moses and Aaron. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KorahNow, that's interesting... Under the circumstances... And, remember... if you put Paul Newman together with Goldie Hawn, you get... One fine looking Jew... Lololol... By all means, friends... Happy Hannukah... The Jews should be so Jewish...

Well, good morning... boy, 'dark coma' is right... I slept for hours, and hours yesterday. I really wanted to add to the 1211th post on 12/11, but I suppose that posting the 1212th post on 12/12 will have to suffice. Not only that, but I wanted to tell you what kind of a day yesterday was... aside from obviously exhausting, that is. It was kind of a... small miracle... It's been raining here... a lot. I know the river was really high when I drove into town to go to work, earlier this week, and I wondered at the time how much it would take to flood the highway,- not much. And, sure enough, the day before I was scheduled to go home (yesterday morning), there were reports that the highway was flooded, and closed, at a particular spot in the route that there is no other way around. Closed. And I wanted to go home... more than badly. Urgently. I tried to think of ways to get around it, but couldn't think of anything that didn't require at least another hour's drive, or more. And I would do that. Or maybe even get a ride through the high spot in the water with a truck... or something... there were no 'options', as far as not going home. So, I spent a fairly restless night, I'm sure, thinking about going home... and when I got up in the morning, I thought to myself, "Well... I think we're going to have to part the sea today. I'm going home." And, then I called the ODOT line for road conditions. The 'water has receded, and there are currently no restrictions in place.' I couldn't help smiling, and I just had to let you know... to mark it in my 'journal', one more time, that it really is the small things that make life interesting, and wonderful, in the face of the 'opposition' to such a thing... and to say 'thank you' for bringing me home. And then, I think to myself, that if faith can bring me home on this level, why might it not 'bring me home' yet again, on other levels? And I'm more than sure that it can... and Will... I am having fun... you know, the hail looks like ping pong balls when it falls... The time on this one is 11:21, and backwards, that's... 12/11... and that's kind of fun, too... I understand that there was a tornado in Battleground, Washington... that's kind of like a hurricane... nobody was hurt, thank goodness. It really is the 'Adventure of a Lifetime', you know. I think it's all pretty amazing... Ah... cowbell. Perfect... You know why they call it the "Most Beloved Wish Cow"? Somebody said, "I'm sure hungry... I wish I had something to eat." And, what do you know...? Here comes a cow. And who doesn't love cheese...? And milkshakes... Lololol... I 'love' it... Last edit time, 7:33, for those of you who care for sore thumbs... and no, I don't think I'll sing along with that one, speaking of 'sore thumbs', and all. It is raining, though, so... how about some ELO, instead? This is an especially nice song, and look at the video... they're playing inside a rainbow-colored pyramid... Iris... And, of course, this is one of my very favorites... meet me at the Opera House at a quarter to three... Great musicians... great music. Now, there are some things that I wanted to 'talk' about, on a more 'sirius' level... although, the temptation to tie this in to the story of Rudolph is... strong... lol... still, I think you can make your own connections, if you care to. The 'alchemy website' that I applied to didn't... but I don't think they're really interested in the 'art' of alchemy; in fact, I'm sure they're in it for the associated 'goodies'. Nevertheless, I feel as if I would like to share my 'understanding' of the subject with whoever is truly interested in such things, since there is still an opportunity for those persons to apply themselves, and find success at it, even... in Truth. I have posited that the great Alchemical art has existed from the very beginning, since it is that same 'art' or 'science', if you will, that is responsible for Life itself,- the transmutation of a 'seed' of 'possibility' into a living creation of substance, which is, in turn, fruitful, or... generative. It has been described in mysterious symbols which are 'decipherable' to the 'discerning mind', and when properly translated and applied, are the Source of All that 'life' is capable of producing, both physically, and more importantly, spiritually. It is this same 'art' or 'science' which allows for the growth and transmutation of the 'soul material' or 'spiritual seed', which are described as 'base metals' into the 'gold' of the finest degree, or, a 'highly refined/spiritualized' soul. One that is capable of directly processing the 'Force' that is 'God'... Two 'translations' of Isaiah 48:10, which say the same thing... I have refined you, but not like silver. I have tested you in the furnace of suffering.
(JPS Tanakh 1917) Behold, I have refined thee, but not as silver; I have tried thee in the furnace of affliction.
Well... that seems plain enough. Now, let's look at some of the original holders of this 'knowledge', which included Abraham. Interestingly, I found this statement concerning Abraham, as I was reading through my copy of the 'Sefer Yetzirah'... And when Abraham our father, may he rest in peace, looked, saw, understood, and probed, engraved and carved, He was successful in creation, as it is written, "And the souls that they made in Haran" (Genesis 12:5) Immediately there was revealed to him the Master of all, may His name be blessed forever. He placed him in His bosom, and kissed him on his head, and He called him, "Abraham my beloved" (Isaiah 41:8) He made a covenant with him and with him and with his children after him forever, as it is written, "And he believed in God, and He considered and He considered it righteousness (Genesis 15:6)...
The complete verse quoted here relates to Abraham's leaving Haran at God's command, and it states, "So Abram went, as God had told him... and Abram took his wife Sarai, and his nephew Lot, and all the substance that they had gathered, and the souls that they made in Haran" (Genesis 12:5) This implies that before God had spoken to him and told him to leave his land, Abraham had already mastered the mysteries of Sefer Yetzirah. That, and the Art of Alchemy, evidently. You'll notice that he and Korah had lots of 'goodies', in addition to having made 'souls'. And that, really, is the point of the whole thing, I think... on many levels. Taking the basic 'soul material' of the 'earth' (base metals), and transforming it into something 'perfect' in nature, or... 'gold'. All things here in this place have that 'seed' of 'soul potential' within them, from the simplest creatures to the stones, and plants, of the earth. It was our 'job' here to 'refine' that 'soul potential', thereby refining and 'raising' the earth to its fullest potentials and possibilities... to the ultimate 'benefit' of all. You see? We aren't just 'gardeners', but... that's kind of a fun way to look at it, I think... According to some Rosicrucian scholars, it is said that a 'seed is impotent, and useless, unless it is planted in the proper 'matrix'... now, that's mildly provocative, if you ask me. Scientifically speaking, of course, that's what a 'matrix' is... a 'growth medium', like soil. And so, you can see the importance of the 'matrix' within which that 'seed' is 'planted', and expected to 'grow' or 'flourish'. Remember this story...? Parable, I mean... Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow; as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. "Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. Other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop...Wrong 'matrix'... And as far as that 'furnace of affliction' or 'poverty' (according to other translations) goes, I suppose you could call that, 'preparing the soil'... Plenty of fertilizer, I'm sure... thank goodness, roses 'love' it... There's a 'moral' to this story, somewhere... I think it has to do with a 'seed' that was waiting for the proper 'matrix', or... growth medium... in which to flourish. Now, here's where I have a bit of fun... last edit time was 9:33... watch your thumbs, I've got my sledgehammer out... lolol... and now, I'm going to post my edit at 12:12... But, hay... what happened to my favorite 'Jailbreak' video...? You guys aren't much fun... lolol... but I'll settle for this one... Or this one... Or this one... But, really... speaking of 'seed' and their 'matrix', remember that the name Zerubabbel means 'Seed of Babylon'. I think we can assume that the seed was planted, found its 'matrix', and is going to... blossom. As planned... so long... from here... "... For thou lovest me from the foundation of the world." You don't believe me...? I found this little 'tidbit' in regard to the 'Alchemical arts' in an article that I was reading on the subject... let me share it with you... A Better Understanding of the Universe: When studying Alchemy, you learn more about everything around you and the history of the universe. Attraction: a special spell used to cause like material to attract like material: used by Niccolò Macchiavelli to redirect a Ley Gate to somewhere that a certain kind of DNA can be found. DNA Manipulation: allows an alchemist to manipulate DNA, and literally "grow forests from floorboards" secretsnicholasflamel.wikia.com/wiki/AlchemySo, about these 'Ley Gates', and certain kinds of DNA... what would we be doing with these certain kinds of DNA, if not 'creating souls'? Living souls, just as it is written...? You know something about 'ley lines', and that they have to do with directing the 'energy currents' along the earth, but there are also 'gates',- and 'gates' give access to different 'areas' or 'levels' that would ordinarily be 'closed off', isn't that right? And that last part, about growing 'forests from floorboards'... lol... I'm fairly certain that would apply equally well to a 'valley of dry bones', don't you? Last edit time, 3:03... just for fun... Now, we've discussed Abraham and Sara, and Lot, and the 'souls that they made', so let's look at another reputed 'alchemist' and his wife, and see what their work involved... Nicholas Flamel, and his wife, Perenelle... Let us take only the 'accepted' historical facts in regard to these two, which indicate that they were generous with the poor people that lived in their vicinity and gave much to charity, including hospitals, orphanages, and of special interest is the work that Flamel did to improve the 'Cemetery of the Innocents' at St. Denis. Now, whether or not he was able to 'produce gold' with which to pay for these things, or whether he and his wife gave the money from their own personal accounts and savings, is rather moot, under the circumstances; the fact is, that they provided the means for those less fortunate than themselves to enjoy a somewhat improved standard of living, at least, and provided them with 'care', in order that they were better able to 'flourish' in this place. You see? He grew... and refined... souls... which is a Truly Great work. He left the 'gold' of brotherhood where fell only the tears of lead... A true alchemist of the highest order. And this, brothers, is a Work that you can all undertake... even at the last minute... and your reward will be as great as the 'Great' Flamel's... Nikola Tesla worked on another kind of 'soul'... that of the 'earth', and even the Universe, itself... and found the means to produce energy for all, freely, to the benefit of the Earth itself, and those who inhabit it. But, you see what happened to that... And now, we can turn the 'blind eye' no longer, and allow the 'love of money' to impede our 'work' here, for your 'payday' is coming... just as I said... and so far, we have only "heaps and heaps of what we've sown". And I'm afraid they call that Justice... Thanks for this one... I can't wait to climb that hill... Maybe the turn of the next card, number 9, will get me there... I thought you'd like this... speaking of Nicholas Flamel, I thought I'd give you his rendition of "Don't Fear the Reaper"... That's Mercury, the 'messenger', giving 'Saturn' or 'Father Time' (aka the Reaper), the 'Good News', I assume... Lololol... More cowbell... And a 'friendly turn of the cards'... Last edit time, 5:33... still having 'fun'... And, the 'funny' thing about that 'book' of Flamel's...? It was all 'Yellow'... no, really... Remember what was said in the "Book of Lambspring" about the remedy within the 'venemous dragon'? Well... Now, let me add this... From Sedona, Arizona... near Montezuma Well, and the Anasazi cliff dwellings, coincidentally... The really interesting thing about this is the connection to 'Montezuma' and the associated 'well', which well may be one of those 'ley gates', or 'water door', if you will,- that, and the fact that the figure that is represented above might actually be translated as a 'feathered serpent', don't you think? And that sounds awfully familiar... The other thing is that in the first illustration that I showed you of Mercury, who is (admittedly) a 'messenger', the figure of Mercury is carrying the same 'rod' or 'wand' that is shown in the following illustration, and that seems to be the 'gist' of the 'message'... it is a 'scepter', of sorts, and it is being 'passed'... in spite of 'Time', or 'Saturn', who is known to 'devour its children'. This one is destined to Live... and this One is 'Destiny's Child',- in truth. And because it was a Woman who initiated this process, I fully expect that it will be a Woman that 'ends' it, or brings it to its rightful 'conclusion'. And the fact that that 'truth' was always known is evidenced most strongly, I believe, by the fact that the more recent (historically speaking) 'schools' of 'Initiates' are Fraternities,- no girls allowed. The reason for that, I'm sure, is so that no woman would ever acquire the 'secret' knowledge that 'told' this Truth... and this allowed for so many various, and curious, twists on the 'story', in order to make the shoe fit somebody else's foot... so to speak. Well... In the end, of course, the Truth can't help making itself known... that's what I say. It should finally become fairly apparent, or... it wouldn't be the Truth, would it? And so, I can wait for Life to 'play itself out'... whatever 'part' it is that we have been somehow 'chosen' to take. I understand that there must be a place for a mudshark, or else there wouldn't be one, would there? Whoever that turns out to be... so let it be. Even if it has to be me, I guess... Everybody wants to be the angelfish... Or the catfish... But never the mudshark. Or the goat... or the blacksheep, either, for that matter.

So, here we are, on the morning of 12/13, and I think that since we did post number 1212 yesterday, I'll proceed along with post number 1213 today, and continue until Tuesday morning, at least... and I think that begins our "12 Days of Christmas". I was hoping to be able to give you something kind of special this year... by way of posting, at least, and when I got up this morning, I had (at least) a good idea where to start... With the "Yellow Book"... Now, for those of you who aren't 'reading ahead' already, I'll give you the link to these 'illustrations', so that you can study them for yourselves... it would be nice to think that someone might have some additional 'insight' into these things,- translation is so often in the 'eye of the beholder'. And, it seems to me that if we can't actually see 'eye to eye', then maybe it's because we need the other 'perspective' in order to see the 'whole picture'. Maybe... www.alchemylab.com/flameldwgs.htmThe first thing that I'd like to make reference to, as far as this 'work' goes, is that it has to do with 'gardening'... I'll show you... Now, this is the illustration that follows the 'serpent on a pole'... which is, coincidentally, a fair translation of the Teli serpent, or dragon, which we discussed earlier... a mysterious 'pole serpent' or 'dragon' which is referred to by Jewish mystics, and this is important to the 'process' which is implied in the Sefer Yetzirah, and further 'illustrated' in the 'Codex' of Nicholas Flamel. And that is what I intend to show you this morning. The importance of this particular 'gardening' illustration in regard to 'growing souls' is verified by the text of the Sefer Yetzirah, and, if you will, this process can be taken one step further (a level up... lol...) by considering the process that it is only 'hinted' at by these mystics as "building a Golem", or, an 'artificially created' 'being' which is brought forth 'mentally' or... 'spiritually', might be a better way to think of it, since 'intellectually' isn't necessarily the same as 'mentally' in this case. And, as a matter of fact, we are told that for this process, least, we are to " bridle your... heart from thinking." There are said to be 32 Paths of Wisdom, and we are further told that the number 32, when written out, spells 'Lev', which means 'heart'. Levi... and then there's Levo(h)n... The 'gardening' connection comes in here... with the 'instructions' that are given for envisioning the 'circle' or Galgal, which is also connected with the Teli serpent, interestingly... The 22 letters are placed in a circle... "Place them in a circle, like a wall with 231 gates (the number of lines connecting the 22 letters placed in a circle)." The Kabbalists present an important meditation regarding these gates. This is based on a text in the first chapter: "Engrave them like a garden, carve them like a wall, deck them like a ceiling" (1:11).
The initiate must contemplate the ground, visualizing it as a murky black mud. He must then "engrave" the 22 letters, forming each one in his mind...
Then he must "carve them like a wall." ...
Next, the initiate must "deck them like a ceiling"...
Once he has completed this exercise, he is ready to make use of the circle... If he wishes to use it to create, he must proceed in direct order, beginning with the Alef...
According to some, this is also a technique for making a Golem. There are associated tales of the creations, and near-creations (that didn't end very well) of Golems by various persons and 'disciples', even, but as I said, these are generally ill-fated, since the motives... the 'heart' of the matter... is not 'in the right place', but what if... this 'person/creature' that is expected is 'expected' because they were 'planted', so to speak... like a 'seed', if you will... and is finally 'reaching maturity'? We are told very plainly that everything that we need to know about 'God' can be seen in Nature,- the same 'rules' are in play. So, maybe this indicates the need to be 'getting back to the Garden'... like these people are... Back to work... lol... You'll notice that the persons that are 'tending' this 'Garden' are of various types... I see everything from a king, a monk, and a young female, to an older female that is 'watering' it, a man with a turban, a dark-haired man without a turban, and a figure in the foreground with a shovel that looks more like a scholar than a farmer, and I might suspect that the two in the foreground represent Nicholas and Perenelle, themselves... Several figures carry scythes, so that a 'reaping' is implied, at least, and look at that "murky black mud"... Golems... I bet you didn't see that coming... You want to see a picture? Number 18... and 1 + 8 = 9, which is 'completion'... which is kind of what this illustration shows... Do you see the 'Sword of the Mouth' shown here? And the seven candlesticks? Seven stars in his right hand? And, there, at his feet... it looks very much like the 'oracle' of the Urim and Thummim to me. And all of that is a reference to the one, "like unto the Son of Man" who is prophesied to come in the books of the Revelations of St. John, the Divine... Well, how do you like that...? There are also seven 'gardeners'... Now, there is one more thing about that 'Number 9' card... notice the black, billowing clouds from which this figure 'emerges'... 11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him [were] dark waters [and] thick clouds of the skies. 12 At the brightness [that was] before him his thick clouds passed, hail [stones] and coals of fire. 13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail [stones] and coals of fire. Psalm 18Like ping pong balls... I imagine... Rock you like a hurricane... Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.
15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.And that reminds me of something else, that I know I've shown you before... still... I think it bears repeating at this time... "The Birth of Venus"... And, I like this one... Psalm 16, emphasis on verse 6... ... their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. The LORD (is) the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. 6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant (places); yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because (he is) at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Now, this is all very interesting, because... we just discussed the 'reins' of the heart in the post above, and the reference to a 'lot' reminds me very much of the (p)lot that these people are 'dressing' in the illustration that I showed you. And then, there's this... "I drew a line... I drew a line for you... And it was all yellow..." "The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant (places)..." Like... a Pleasant Hill, maybe...? There's a mountain there, you know... it's called Pisgah... There is much here in the way of 'symbolism'... keys... arrows... and two 'crosses', which, connected by the center 'pole' make a very nice... Cross of Lorraine... And, here it is, as shown in the illustration from the 'Yellow Book'... mostly... it is shown within the 'circle', and with the two triangles, which form the 'Star of David', or, as it is otherwise known... the Star of Zion... and that is also a mountain. Among the other symbolism appears the 'horn of plenty' or 'Grail', and a serpent, and what's in that little bag over there...? Black wool...? Lolol... Well, there is a crescent moon, or 'horns of Isis', as it is also called, and within the 'circle' is a crown. Interestingly, the 'title' or 'heading' of this page is "Multiplication", which is what I said that St. Germain should be applying himself to, if he is still about... I think he took a wrong 'turn' somewhere (that's a 'spade' joke)... possibly at the 'X' that marks the spot... Ha ha ha ha ha... But siriusly... the 'spade' is important symbolism, of itself... The Royal Arch Mason cannot fail to learn further from the diligent use of these implements (the crow, the pickaxe, and the spade), that he must search to the very foundations which underlie all human knowledge if he would find that great object of all his earthly pilgrimage - the end of his labors. Truth may be buried for a time under a cumbrous mass of error; the ruins of a better civilization may be thrown down upon it; its very existence may be forgotten, but the diligent seeker after it will surely find it.
"Truth crushed to earth shall rise again, Th' eternal years of God are hers."
"This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubabbel, saying, Not by might nor by power, but by my spirit. Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubabbel thou shalt become a plain, and he shall bring forth the head-stone thereof with shouting, crying, saying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubabbel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts has sent me unto you. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and see the plummet in the hand of Zerubabbel, with those seven."Last edit time, original post time, backwards... Hay, let's play this one... it's got a car... Notice the symbolism in this video... two cars, one black, one white... like the Sphinxes that pull the Chariot... and, did she just do a cartwheel...? She did... Now, this was an excellent choice... yes, All will be redeemed... Which brings us right to the next part of our 'journey',- from the darkness, comes the Light... as represented here, by the 'Woman clothed with the Sun'... And that part is True, too... for our explanation of this 'truth', let's take some passages from "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" by Manly Hall. Recognizing the sun as the supreme benefactor of the material world, Hermetists believed that there was a spiritual sun which ministered to the needs of the invisible and divine part of Nature -- human and universal. About this subject, the great Paracelsus wrote: "There is an earthly sun, which is the cause of all heat, and all who are able to see may see the sun, and those who are blind and cannot see him may feel his heat. There is an Eternal Sun, which is the source of all Wisdom, and those whose spiritual senses have awakened to life will see that sun and be conscious of His existence; but those who have not attained spiritual consciousness may yet feel His power by an inner faculty which is called 'intuition'."
Certain Rosicrucian scholars have given special appellations to these three phases of the sun; the spiritual sun the call Vulcan; the soular and intellectual sun, Christ and Lucifer, respectively; and the material sun, the Jewish Demiurgus, Jehovah. Lucifer here represents the intellectual mind without the illumination of the spiritual mind; therefore, it is 'the false light.' The false light is finally overcome and redeemed by the true light of the soul, called the Second Logos or Christ. The secret processes by which the Luciferian intellect is transmuted into the Christly intellect constitute one of the great secrets of alchemy, and are symbolized by the transmusting of base metals into gold.
In the rare treatise, "The Secret Symbols of the Rosicrucians", Franz Hartmann defines the sun alchemically as: "The symbol of Wisdom. The Center of Power or Heart of things. The Sun is a centre of energy and a storehouse of Power. Each living being contains within itself a centre of life, which may grow to be a Sun. In the heart of the regenerated, the divine power, stimulated by the Light of the Logos (living Word), grows into a Sun, which illuminates his mind."
...In the majority of cases, the religions of antiquity agree that the material visible sun was a reflector rather than a source of power. The sun was sometimes represented as a shield carried on the arm of the Sun God, for example, Frey, the Scandinavian Solar Deity. This sun reflected the light of the invisible spiritual sun, which was the true source of life, light, and truth. The physical nature of the universe is receptive; it is a realm of effects. The invisible causes of these effects belong to the spiritual world.
Hence, the spiritual world is the sphere of causation; the material world is the sphere of effects; while the intellectual - or soul - world is the sphere of mediation. Thus, Christ, the personified higher intellect and soul nature, is called "the Mediator" who, by virtue of His position, and power, says: "No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.And so... the Woman is 'clothed' with the 'Sun'... And every picture tells a Story... Or maybe sings a song...

Well, good morning to you All... I got to log on at 7:07, and that seems like a Good start to me... Warning,- may cause seizures... The light... Just sayin'... How about some ELO? Something you can dance to...? A New World Record... well, now, that's funny... I was just thinking about 'record players' again... And I can't get it out of my head... Okay, make it a jukebox... Aren't you afraid that I might try to play "Fields of Gold"? The "Killer Queen" was perfect, though... right on time... Lololol... Oops... 11:22... time to get back to work... Fun with numbers... And remember what Pacal Votan said... "All is Number, God is Number, God is All". Which is why the eternal fascination with mathematics, I suppose; if only we could 'master' the 'numbers', then, theoretically... and failing, that, if we could only 'manipulate' the 'numbers'... we could at least 'put in a fix'. Saved by Zero... Well, what I really wanted to talk about was the 'light'... we covered somewhat the thought that there were three 'suns' yesterday... and the notion of different 'lights', which I've theorized contain different sorts, or 'grades', even, of information which range from 'growth information' on a physical level (as reflected by the seasonal growth of plant life, etc., which is initiated, and 'completed', by the amount of light that is being given at that time) that is transmitted to all life by the physical sun,- to the 'growth information' that is transmitted on another, 'occulted' or 'hidden' spiritual level, which works in the same way. And then, there is the 'enlightened mind', or 'intellectual light', which allows for increased 'understanding', and the growth of 'wisdom' within a particular mind, or consciousness. Let me show you something... This image describes the "Aten" Disk... the "Sun"... and I find it to be especially 'enlightening' in 'light' of this passage from the "Bahir": 148. And it is written (Habakkuk 3:4) "He has rays from His hand, and His hidden force is there."
His hidden 'force'... And they say that the 'force' is 'awakening' right about now... I don't know about you, but I kind of feel like dancing... Remember our 'Foo Fighters'? Or, 'Foo Lights', or 'foo balls', as they are otherwise known? There is an interesting explanation for that particular 'phenomenon', given by Manly Hall in his "Secret Teachings of All Ages". The Celestial Inhabitants of the Sun
The Rosicrucians and the Illuminati, describing the angels, the archangels, and other celestial creatures, declared that they resembled small suns, being centers of radiant energy surrounded by streamers of Vrilic force. From these outpouring streamers of force is derived the popular belief that angels have wings. These wings are corona-like fans of light...
Some secret orders have taught that the sun was inhabited by a race of creatures with bodies composed of a radiant, spiritual ether not unlike in its constituency the actual glowing ball of the sun itself. The solar heat had no harmful effect on them, because their organisms were sufficiently refined and sensitized to harmonize with the sun's tremendous vibratory rate. These creatures resemble miniature suns, being a little larger than a dinner plate in size, although some of the more powerful are considerably larger... and these are called by the modern Christians "the archangels or "the spirits of the light"...
Gold is the metal of the sun and has been considered by many as crystallized sunlight. When gold is mentioned in alchemical tracts, it may be either the metal itself, or the celestial orb which is the source, or spirit, of gold...
As gold was the symbol of spirit and the base metals represented man's lower nature, certain alchemists were called "miners" and were pictured with picks and shovels digging into the earth in search of the precious metal...Well, now that is interesting... and you say that those lizard people wanted us to do what...? Mine for 'gold'? I think I told you about that, didn't I? Yep. I did. Wrong video... that was the 'Guess Who'... and that works, I suppose... He wants your... fire... Oh... shock the monkey... I say we give it to him... And a cigar... to celebrate... I'm feeling 'expansive'... Well... it's almost like an exploding cigar... But, siriusly... we'll get back to this one, since it is the next illustration in the series... Are you gettin' it...? Well, let's see if we can 'make sense' out of the image that I showed you from Flamel's illustrations... and for this, we turn to the prophet Ezekiel... the first chapter, and beginning with (coincidentally) the fourth verse... And I looked, and, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with a fire flashing up, so that a brightness was round about it; and out of the midst thereof as the colour of electrum, out of the midst of the fire. 5 And out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man...This is said to be a description of the 'Chariot' of 'God' that Ezekiel saw in a 'vision', which had to do with a 'judgment' and an 'exile', of which we have already spoken. Let me share with you this passage, from another website, which may serve to help explain its 'appearance' at this critical point in the 'revelations' of the 'ending'... This heavenly chariot, as you call it, appears twice more in the book of Ezekiel: once in chapters 10/11 and again in chapter 43. But here it starts by coming from the north (1:4). The north signifies the land of Israel's invaders; judgement comes from the north. As mentioned, many thought Jerusalem was unassailable, but now God gives to Ezkiel a message to deliver: that Jerusalem will be destroyed (Ezekiel 4).
Before that can happen, though, God will leave the city. So in chapter 10, we see again this heavenly chariot and the glory of God departs from the temple and stops above the four living creatures (10:18) and then moves to the east gate. After pausing there, the heavenly chariot moves east of the city altogether to the mountain east of it and Ezekiel's vision ends (11:23-24).
Here is where the mobility of the glory of God becomes important to the theme of the book. For the people thought that God's glory was always in the land and that God was not with the exiles (11:15). The heavenly chariot, though, shows not only that judgement can come upon the land, but also that God is with his people in exile. He has sent them into exile, but He goes into exile with them.
The heavenly chariot, though, makes one last appearance in Ezekiel's book. In chapter 43, Ezekiel sees again a vision like before (43:3) of the glory of God coming from the east (43:2). God returns from the exile, having promised to return the people to the land (36:24). As the rest of the book unfolds, God makes clear that he will not send his people again into exile but that He will dwell with the people he has gathered.hermeneutics.stackexchange.com/questions/487/what-is-the-significance-of-ezekiels-description-of-gods-heavenly-chariot-in-cAnd, this is exactly what is promised at the end of the book of the 'Revelations', isn't it? And this is 'Emmanuel'... 'God with us'... And so... which 'exiles' were they that He went into 'exile with'? He made darkness His hiding place, and his secret pavilion round about Him... He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows...Psalm 23 And this 'chariot' or 'Merkaba' is the 'vehicle' that is used to 'connect' with higher realms... www.crystalinks.com/merkaba.htmlBut that looks a lot like my own 'symbol'... I 'made it' by sliding together two Rosicrucian triangles containing crosses,- one upright, and one upside down, so it is 'my mark.' Kind of funny... don't you think? Under the circumstances... paradisejournal.freeforums.net/thread/79/discovered-star-telescopeAnd, if that's a 'chariot', then what about the driver...? Crazy... That's some magic car. And that reminds me of another song... Guess which one... Close enough. A short description of how the 'Merkabah' works, basically, is given at the same website as follows: "Mer" means Light. "Ka" means Spirit. "Ba" means Body. Mer-Ka-Ba means the spirit/body surrounded by counter-rotating fields of light, (wheels within wheels), spirals of energy as in DNA, which transports spirit/body from one dimension to another. And do you know what that sounds like to me...? Dancing... Don't mind if I do... Word... up... Lololol... Well, that was a nice little diversion, I think... better than the usual 'suspects'... There is another 'illustration' left in the series, but I think we'll leave that one, for now. I hope that these things have given you some food for thought... we'll put them in our 'pack' for the rest of the journey ahead, shall we? They may come in handy, later. Now, the number 9 is interesting for me, personally, since 9 is my own 'destiny number', and as I've said, it represents 'completion'... for me, then, I might expect to find the end of my own personal journey, or... perhaps, something else... And, the number 9 is the number of the next card in the Tarot deck... the Hermit. In this version of the card, you see that the lamp is held high... and shining with light. In the former version, the lamp was held within the mantle of the hermit,- shielded, and only partially visible. The significance of this change should most likely indicate that whereas formerly, this 'light' or 'illumination' was 'hidden', more or less, and not visible to the 'onlooker,' but known only to its bearer. You should further notice that this 'light' that illuminates his lantern is a star... the Star of Zion, or David. Which is also interesting, in its own right... Before we continue with the usual descriptions ascribed to this card, let's look at what Papus has to say in regard to the 9th card, representing for him the 9th letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Teth, in which... Hieroglyphically the Teth represents a roof, and suggests the idea of a place of safety, a protection. All the ideas arising from this letter are derived from the alliance of safety and protection given by wisdom.
Astronomically the Teth corresponds with the zodiacal Sign of the Lion. And this 'lion', we might assume (from the Star of David/Zion shown as its 'illumination'), would be our 'Lion of Judah'. These particular 'facts' really only make 'sense' within the context of my own 'thesis', which is that this is the 'road' or 'journey' that has been undertaken by Cain and forwarded by his descendant(s), who have been 'hidden' in 'wisdom' and 'safety' under this 'roof' of Teth... and that this 'wisdom' which was once 'shielded' from the 'profane', is now being spread abroad, because the end of the 'journey' is now within sight... And about this 'occulted' or 'hidden light' or 'sun'... and alchemy... since we're on the subject (more or less)... I would like to add these passages from the work that I've been quoting by Manly Hall, since they seem appropriate at this time,- The purpose of alchemy was not to make something out of nothing but rather to fertilize and to nurture the seed which was already present. Its processes did not actually create gold but rather made the ever-present seed of gold grow and flourish. Everything which exists has a spirit - the seed of Divinity within itself - and regeneration is not the process of attempting to place something where it had not previously existed. Regeneration actually means the unfoldment of the omnipresent Divinity in man, that this Divinity may shine forth as a sun and illumine all with whom it comes in contact.
Aupelius said when describing his initiation (vide ante): "At midnight I saw the sun shining with a splendid light." The midnight sun was also part of the mystery of alchemy. It symbolized the spirit in man shining through the darkness of the human organisms. It also referred to the spiritual sun in the solar system, which the mystic could see as well at midnight as at high noon, the material earth being powerless to obstruct the rays of this Divine orb... The weird light seen ten miles below the surface of the earth by I-AM-THE-MAN in that remarkable Masonic allegory, "Etidorpha" (Aphrodite spelled backward) may well refer to the mysterious midnight sun of the ancient rites. Now, I don't know about you, but I find all of this to be at least mildly provocative... since this 'spiritual sun' was said to 'shine' ten miles below the surface of the earth, which would be... a land down under, for sure... and the 'material earth' being powerless to obstruct this light. For whom did this sun shine...? For those who were consigned to the 'darkness'... under a 'roof', more or less... A roof of 'safety'... or, a 'safety pit', maybe... in a manner of speaking... Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.Isaiah 26:20 And the 'indignation'... is nearly past... Let's give that verse some 'context', shall we? 19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.Well... let's go on with our Hermit. The number 9 is also said to be the 'Number of the Master'... our description runs as follows: The variation from the conventional models in this card is only that the lamp is not enveloped partially in the mantle of its bearer, who blends the idea of the Ancient of Days with the Light of the World. It is a star which shines in the lantern. I have said that this is a card of attainment, and to extend this conception the figure is seen holding up his beacon on an eminence. Therefore the Hermit is not, as Court de Gebelin explained, a wise man in search of truth and justice; nor is he, as later explanation proposes, an especial example of experience. His beacon intimates that "where I am, there you may be also".
It is further a card which is understood quite incorrectly when it is connected with the idea of occult isolation, as the protection of personal magnetism against admixture. This is one of the frivolous renderings which we owe to Eliphas Levi. It has been adopted by the French Order of Martinism and some of us have heard a great deal of the Silent and Unknown Philosophy enveloped by his mantle from the knowledge of the Profane. In true Martinism, the significance of the term 'Philosophe inconnu' was of another order. It did not refer to the intended concealment of the Instituted Mysteries, but - like the card itself - to the truth that the Divine Mysteries secure their own protection from those who are unprepared. Now, there are several interesting points made here, beginning with the fact that the figure is seen to be standing on an 'eminence'... he has climbed the mountain that the other figures have seen so far only from a distance. And, from here, I imagine that he can see both the beginning point, and the ending place, of the 'journey' that has been undertaken. Still... the journey is not yet ended. In my Father's house are many mansions,- if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, in order that where I am, there you may be also. Many mansions... that's kind of funny if your 'Father' is a Great Architect... Personally, I admire greatly the work of the 'frivolous' Eliphas Levi, and I might suggest that his 'rendering' has the 'ring' of truth... Since this 'hermit' is obviously 'alone', and not among any 'group', nor does his mantle indicate that he belongs to any particular 'religious order' or 'church' at all,- he would appear to be just another 'traveler' or seeker of Truth. I believe that this sort of 'independence' of 'affiliation' (in the world as it is today, at least) is necessary to a fair assessment of all of the available historical and mythical 'evidence' that needs to be 'weighed', and this 'character' therefore, must be in a sort of 'isolation' from most of the 'established' schools of thought, and social 'trends' which provide that 'admixture' with the personal 'magnetism' or 'spiritual current'. This would, as Levi points out, provide this 'person' with some 'protection' against prior prejudices (or the prejudices of others) either for, or against, any other established 'laws' which may be used to prevent a complete understanding... of the issues at hand.

Continuing on, then, if only briefly this morning... That was kind of an awkward place to leave things, I suppose; I must have been 'distracted'... the music has been particularly interesting, lately; 'tis the season, I'm sure... Just look at those lights... I'd like to add these additional 'insights' into the place of the Hermit, given by Papus, with which I do not totally agree (nor is that even necessary), but among which I was able to find some fairly salient points,- one of those being the place of the 9th as a 'preserver'. This is one of the titles given to the Hindu Kalki, said to be the 10th and final 'avatar' of 'God', and also called the 'Horse Avatar.' That is interesting, in light of the curious piece of text taken from Rennes-le-Chateau, that says: "Shepherdess, no temptation; that pouisson and teniers hold the key, pax 681; by the cross and this horse of God I complete the guardian demon at midday... blue apples." A preserver... like salt... which reminds me of something else... Oh, yeah. A king-sized salted nut roll... Lololol... Experience won in the labour of life has rendered him a prudent old man, and prudence united to wisdom will safely lead him to the higher level, which he is anxious to attain (12th card).
The arrow shot by the genius in the sixth arcanum has become his support, and the effulgent aureole which surrounded the genius is now imprisoned in the lamp which guides the Initiate. This is the result of his prolonged efforts.
The ninth card of the Tarot represents the third conceived as preserver and recipient. It also balances the seventh and the eighth.
1. Humanity fulfilling the function of God the Holy Spirit.
The human creative force.
HUMAN LOVE -
The preserving power of Humanity. The equilibrium of the Father and the Mother.
2. Equilibrium of Realization and Justice.
PRUDENCE -
(Silence.)
3. Nature accomplishing the function of humanity. Equilibrium of the Astral Light and Elementary Existence.
THE NATURAL PRESERVING FORCE -
The Astral Fluid.Dear Prudence... to say the least... And this 'natural preserving force' that exists in an 'astral fluid', is, I believe what they refer to as the 'former and the latter rain'... and therein lies part of the secret of 'setting fire to the rain', as well as 'Nature' accomplishing the function of humanity, as it says. I have to go to work, if I make it over the pass, I'm sure; I won't be posting for a few more days, but I hope to get some study time in... And by the way, I read that Tet has to do with the 'coiled serpent', which is also interesting... since the serpents are obviously 'coiled' around the staff, here... Maybe the same staff that the Hermit is carrying... forward...

What a wonderful day to be here... Just to read the 'signs'. I couldn't help smiling... I liked the 'message'. I'll remember... And have 'no fear', young Padawan... the 'force' is with you already, and it is strong with you... And I couldn't help thinking that I ended up in some pretty wonderful places, after all. This should prove to be an interesting day, since we were just discussing the number nine, and its symbolism... this being 12/18, (1+8=9), and the new Star Wars epic, "The Force Awakens", opens today. And, speaking of symbolism... I couldn't help smiling. I'd like to see it. You know, there are so many signs about you, if you just look... that alone, is enough to keep someone amazed enough with 'Life', that you hardly need the rest, but... let's face it... it's 'better' with a little bit of the rest, too. And I say that, knowing full well how it feels to have nothing at all... for a time. I'm happy enough to say that I've had 'everything' (and I mean that... maybe even six or sixty of everything, depending on what it was) and then landed in the deepest part of 'nothing'. I know the difference. And I also know that it is possible to remain hopeful, and even happy, in both of those places. I am grateful... for every thing. And I can only tell you all that it will be all right, finally; it's moment by moment, and day by day. And that's how you make it. That, and a 'little help from your friends', certainly... It is said that even the 'Son of Man', himself had no place to lay his head; he had no home. He was despised, and rejected of men, and yet... you just have to keep walking. Isn't that right? That, and a few 'signs' to point the way... That's a good one for sure... And speaking of good ones... ladies and gentlemen... "Billy Sheeeeeaaaaaars..." And, so, you see, it might just "be the kind of story that I want to write"... So much water... it really is flooding, and it is dangerous, in its way. Landslides... rushing water where there was none... deep water where you least expect it. The little 'rivulets' that run down the face of the rock near the tunnel looked like the Sahalie Falls... it was beautiful, but the brown and swollen river, not so much. Some of the large pines that clung to the banks succumbed to the water, and it pushed forward with other fallen branches and debris. But I made it home again, and truthfully, I almost always count that for a small miracle that day... you know...

The 'Number Nine'... Not much of a melody, but the 'White Album' is interesting... as well as the length of the timing on this one. I love dollhouses, personally. I built one of my own, once, with all of the little furniture, and a working chess set, and books, and... everything. I guess every girl wants one. Musically speaking, I prefer this one... Nine was a popular number... for 'Madame Rue', certainly... gypsy... gold tattoo... Crazy, man... Followed by the 'Blue Oyster Cult'? I wonder if it's a 'sign'... Lololol... Techne: from the Greek,- art, skill; especially the principles or methods employed in making something or attaining an objective — compare understanding...To 'bring the Beautiful into the True', in other words. And that's an interesting thought, in and of itself... Wrong video... but so right... lol... Son of Schmilsson... another good one; I recommend it highly. Speaking of 'counts' and 'myths' and other related artists,- he was always one of my favorites. The album includes 'Remember Christmas', 'You're Breaking My Heart', 'Spaceman', and... 'Joy'. Here's to 'Joy', then... and flying... ...and 'Slim Hope', while we're at it...

So, this will make my 1218th post, on 12/18... I caught up to myself for just a bit... and I wanted to do something kind of special... a little bit of 'magic', even, maybe... How about some 'Abracadabra'? Shall I tell you the 'secret' of my favorite 'magic word'? I can.. And it all has to do with this... believe it or not... The Pharoahs... and please notice the big, red Sphinx on one of the album covers. This is interesting, because... The Egyptians, the Assyrians, and the Babylonians, who knew the sun as a Bull, called the zodiac a series of furrows, through which the great celestial Ox dragged the plow of the sun. Hence the populace offered up sacrifice and led through the streets magnificent steers, bedecked with flowers and surrounded with priests, dancing girls of the temple, and musicians. The philosophic elect did not participate in these idolatrous ceremonies, but advocated them as most suitable for the types of mind composing the mass of the population. These few possessed a far deeper understanding, as the Serpent of Scorpio upon their foreheads - the Uraeus - bore witness...From "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" by Manly P. Hall So much for your 'beast of burden', eh...? The Uraeus; from the Greek οὐραῖος, ouraīos, "on its tail"; from Egyptian jʿr.t (iaret), "rearing cobra", is the stylized, upright form of an Egyptian cobra (asp, serpent, or snake), used as a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, deity, and divine authority in ancient Egypt.
The Uraeus is a symbol for the goddess Wadjet, who was one of the earliest Egyptian deities and who often was depicted as a cobra. The center of her cult was in Per-Wadjet, later called Buto by the Greeks. She became the patroness of the Nile Delta and the protector of all of Lower Egypt. The pharaohs wore the Uraeus as a head ornament: either with the body of Wadjet atop the head, or as a crown encircling the head; this indicated Wadjet's protection and reinforced the pharaoh's claim over the land. In whatever manner that the Uraeus was displayed upon the pharaoh's head, it was, in effect, part of the pharaoh's crown. The pharaoh was recognized only by wearing the Uraeus, which conveyed legitimacy to the ruler. There is evidence for this tradition even in the Old Kingdom during the third millennium BCE. Several goddesses associated with or being considered aspects of Wadjet are depicted wearing the Uraeus also....
Later, the pharaohs were seen as a manifestation of the sun god Ra, and so it also was believed that the Uraeus protected them by spitting fire on their enemies from the fiery eye of the goddess. In some mythological works, the eyes of Ra are said to be uraei. Wadjets existed long before the rise of this cult when they originated as the eye of Wadjet as cobra and are the name of the symbols also called the Eye of the Moon, Eye of Hathor, the Eye of Horus, and the Eye of Ra—depending upon the dates of the references to the symbols.
As the Uraeus was seen as a royal symbol, the deities Horus and Set were also depicted wearing the symbol on their crowns. In early ancient Egyptian mythology, Horus would have been the name given to any king as part of the many titles taken, being identified as the son of the goddess. According to the later mythology of Re, the first Uraeus was said to have been created by the goddess Isis, who formed it from the dust of the earth and the spittle of the then-current sun deity. In this version of the mythology, the Uraeus was the instrument with which Isis gained the throne of Egypt for Osiris. Isis is associated with and may be considered an aspect of Wadjet.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UraeusI can't help thinking of the line from the translation of the 'Voynich Manuscript' document... said to be written in some now-unknown form of proto-Hebraic, that speaks of the "small eye", and I believe... that they shared at least some of the beliefs of these other people, at some point in 'time'. And, I can't help thinking that that just sounds an awful lot like the description of what the Israelites were doing with that golden calf, if you ask me... and the fact that all three of the nations named above saw the sun as a bull, explains a lot. The 'calf' indicates that it was in its 'infancy/youth', and that it was not yet a 'bull'... in its most potent maturity. Lambs are 'wooly', and the sign of Aries brings with it the infant Sun, with the birth of the 'lamb' in the springtime. TNot only that, but we are told that: The vernal equinox is therefore said to occur in the constellation of Aries the Ram. It is fitting that of all beasts, a Ram should be placed at the head of the heavenly flock forming the zodiacal band. Centuries before the Christian era, the pagans revered this constellation. Godfrey Higgins states: "This constellation was called the 'Lamb of God.' He was also called the Savior, and was said to save mankind from their sins. He was always honored with the appellation of 'Dominus' or 'Lord'. He was called 'the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.'... Therefore, the Lamb of God is a title given to the Sun, who is said to be reborn every year in the Northern Hemisphere in the sign of the Ram...Therefore, we have a 'wooly bully'... true. And that all makes sense, I suppose, but what does that have to do with "Abracadabra", you say... It is possible that the Orphic symbol of the serpent twisted around the egg attempts to show the motion of the sun in relation to the earth under such conditions. Mr. Mackey advances the Labyrinth of Crete, the name Abraxas, and the magic formula, Abracadabra, among other things, to substantiate his theory. Concerning 'abracadabra', he states:
"But the slow progressive disappearance of the Bull is most happily commemorated in the vanishing series of letters so emphatically expressive of the great astronomical fact. For ABRACADABRA is the Bull, the only Bull. This ancient sentence, split into its component parts stands thus: Ab'r-achad-ab'ra, i.e., Ab'r, the Bull; achad, the only, and etc. Achad is the one of the names of the Sun, given in consequence of his Shining ALONE - he is the only star to be seen when he is seen- the remaining ab'ra makes the whole to be The Bull, while the repetition of the name, omitting a letter, till all is gone, is the most simple, yet the most satisfactory method that could have been devised to preserve the memory of the fact; and the name of Serapis or Sorapis, given to the Bull at the above ceremony puts it beyond all doubt. This word (Abracadabra) disappears in eleven decreasing figures.
And what is very remarkable, a body with three heads is folded up by a serpent with eleven coils, and placed by Sorapis; aqnd the eleven Volves of the Serpent form a triangle similar to that formed by the ELEVEN diminishing lines of the 'abracadabra'...Manly P. Hall See...? It's a 'vanishing act'... Lololol... It is also an interesting fact that the "Tour Magdala" at Rennes-le-Chateau features eleven steps on each side, making a total of 22 steps... Not bad, huh...? And the Abraxas thing... the rooster, standing upon two serpents, and holding a shield,- which we have already said represents the 'Sun'... that speaks of the dawn of a New Day... And, of course, this 'wooly bully' is most likely 'imprisoned' at the center of a Labyrinth, somewhere... hanging by a thread... Mono-filament... I'm sure. Or, maybe she just 'listens in' a lot... Well, I've got 'til Tuesday, anyway... lolol... I really like this video... speaking of 'Joy' and flying... And, you see, there is another 'serpent' connected to the 'Tour Magdala', I think... a 'red' serpent... Le Serpent Rouge, a 'story' told within the 'framework' of 13 'zodiacal characters' as short 'chapters', which describe... well... a funny kind of 'hero', I think, and, of all things, a "Sleeping Beauty". This document was placed with others in the 'Dossiers' held by the 'Priory of Sion', I believe, in 1967. www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/merovingios_renneschateau06c.htmThis is said to be one of the 'illustrations'... Strange are the manuscripts of this Friend, great traveler of the unknown.
I think that these “manuscripts” represent the wisdom of the tablet of Enoch (Hermes-Thoth). It is Enoch, as Noah, Deucalion, or Hercules, who is the “great traveler of the unknown.” Hercules is mentioned later in the poem, and his tomb is said to be located in a cave within Montsegur. He was the pilot of the boat called the “Cup of Helios” (the “Sun-ark”). That would make Hercules (also called “Arkaleus”) another manifestation of the archetype of Noah (whom I have identified as being the same as Enoch). Hercules is famous for enduring a series of twelve trials, all of which clearly represent the houses of the zodiac. Le Serpent Rouge may be presenting us with a strange allegory for the Labors of Hercules: one in which there are thirteen trials, and thirteen zodiac houses, instead of twelve. The “unknown” through which he travels, then, would be the zodiac - the Celestial Sea, also represented by the serpent. 'Hang around' with me, by all means... the best is yet to come, I think. Exciting times... Am I ? Out of 'line', or just out of 'order', do you think? Lololol... Good stuff...

Good morning... The music has been especially 'uplifting' this morning, so I wanted to get an early start today... great jukebox... that was a beautiful rendition of "Joy to the World". And what did I tell you about the 'signs'? They're everywhere... highways... byways... Speaking of which, I can't help wanting to play the rendition of "Joy to the World" done by Three Dog Night, because... you'll notice the mention of a three-headed creature in the quote above, and I can't help finding an 'echo' in the figure of Cerberus, the three-headed dog, that guards the 'gates of Hell'. Not to mention a wine-bibbing bullfrog... "Semper Boffo"... lolol... and I just saw an ad for "Battle Frog" on the Youtube copy of Kodachrome that just started. How do you like that? How about this one...? "Learn How to Fall"... "With 'style'..." Today, we have the 1219th post, on 12/19... good juju... lolol... so, I think we'll go on to discuss the next card in the series... "The Wheel of Fortune". Number 10, I believe... and, since 1+9=10, this looks like as Good a place as any to take a spin at "The Wheel"... This one is very interesting, although, I daresay, little understood. Let's begin with the Sphinx, that I just pointed out on the album released by Sam the Sham and the Pharoahs... I like it... and the serpent... wheels, within wheels, and the four 'creatures' of the Merkaba... The 'Wheel' spins, and the 'Chariot' rolls on... Like a train... And, just so you know, I've got my fingers crossed for some real Christmas 'miracles'... Glory to God in the highest,- Peace on earth, and Good Will toward men...And... may the 'Force' be with you, of course... Well, it says that I originally posted this 9 hours ago... looks like a perfect time for an 'update' to me... And, hay... if "Tuesday's Gone", that means... it must be Wednesday... This is a good time, for sure... You know, I was just thinking the other day that there sure are a lot of funny 'widgets' in the Universal Toolbox... turns out they're really 'Wadjets'... You'll forgive me, I'm sure... I couldn't help myself... But, really, a better song for this post might be this one... and, what do you know? It's 'Journey'... "Revelation"... Ten hours ago... Now, what does the 'Wheel of Fortune' have to do with alchemy, and the chariot...? Look at this,- it is a quote from an article that 'explains' the writing that we were just discussing, titled "Le Serpent Rouge": Not only does Jung describe at length the symbolic connections between the Red Sea and the concepts of salt and bitterness, (which reflect, as I have noted, a geographical reality as well as a metaphoric one), but he also expands on the link between the Red Sea and the symbol of the serpent in alchemical thought...
“I have gone into this Hippolytus text at some length because the Red Sea was of special significance to the alchemists. …(It) appears in a very peculiar manner in the “Tractatus Aristotelis ad Alexandrum Magnum” where a recipe says:
‘Take the serpent and place it in the chariot with four wheels and let it be turned around on the earth. … and then you have placed the four wheels upon the chariot, and will obtain the result, if you will advance to the Red Sea, running without running, advancing without motion’
This curious text requires a little elucidation. The serpent is the prima material… The four-fold rotation of the natures corresponds to the ancient tetrameria of the opus (its division into four parts), i.e. transformation through the four elements, from earth to fire.”
There is plenty more in this vein, but perhaps that is enough to show briefly that Jung treats with considerable detail the connection between the Red Sea, salty and bitter, the serpent and the alchemical process.www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/merovingios_renneschateau06b.htmAs it turns out, salt turns out to be a rather critical 'element' in all of this... not to mention 'chessboards', coincidentally... serendipitously... That’s where Jung comes in. His final work, published just before his death, was titled: Mysterium Coniunctionis: An Inquiry into the Separation and Synthesis of Psychic Opposites in Alchemy. It was first published in German in 1955, and subsequently translated into English and made available under the Bollingen Series imprint, Princeton University Press, in 1963. Le Serpent Rouge, for comparison, appeared in 1967.
This opus was the crowning achievement of Jung's career, a massive tome summarizing the fruits of a life’s research into the psychological underpinnings of the alchemical process. Again, it is not even remotely possible to summarize the contents or themes of the book here, and so, again, at the risk of skipping over important details, I will cut straight to the chase.
Section III The Personification of the Opposites contains 5 sub-sections, the last of which is entitled Sal, or Salt. It consists of 8 chapters. Here are the chapter headings:
a. Salt as the Arcane Substance b. The Bitterness c. The Red Sea d. The Fourth of the Three e. Ascent and Descent f. The Journey through the Planetary Houses g. The Regeneration in Sea-Water h. The Interpretation and Meaning of Salt
If anyone will read LSR, and then examine my hypothesis of the Chessboard/Zodiac of Europe as template for the action of the poem with its identification of the Red Sea, and then read these 8 chapters of Jung under the heading of Sal: then, I suggest that it will be almost impossible to resist the conclusion that the authors of LSR had previously read this same material, and that furthermore, they must have had the correspondences in mind which the Chessboard scheme brings to light...Well, how do you like that? So, there, for your king-sized salted nut roll... 'friend'... This 'work' is 'deeper' than it looks. We'll be referring to it again, shortly... In the meantime, I'd just like to let you all know that this is turning out to be very... interesting... Yep... running with the Devil... With a 'fork' in one hand, and scissors in the other... Now, the really interesting part of the above bolded text is the part that says, "Regeneration in sea-water (by salt water)", and do you know why? Remember how I told you that I brought my goldfish back from the dead with salt water? More than once, I might add... It's true. I wonder what else can be re-generated in sea water? This is a better tune, don't you think...?

Well, now, that was 'od'... I really wanted to make a more 'timely' entry, at 12:20, but everything pretty much 'locked up' and ignored the fact that I was pounding on the 'create post' button at that time. Still... I'm going to post, anyway, and I do have some other interesting parallels to point out within the text that I quoted in the last post... Well, let's get out the magic sledgehammer, and try that 'post' button again, shall we? Let's read this part again,- it looks like a 'riddle', if you ask me... ‘Take the serpent and place it in the chariot with four wheels and let it be turned around on the earth. … and then you have placed the four wheels upon the chariot, and will obtain the result, if you will advance to the Red Sea, running without running, advancing without motion’.
This curious text requires a little elucidation. And the 'answer' is... A river named 'Alice'... No, really... Remember this statement in "Through the Looking Glass"? The Red Queen's race is an incident that appears in Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass and involves the Red Queen, a representation of a Queen in chess, and Alice constantly running but remaining in the same spot.
"Well, in our country," said Alice, still panting a little, "you'd generally get to somewhere else—if you run very fast for a long time, as we've been doing."
"A slow sort of country!" said the Queen. "Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!" [1]
The Red Queen's race is often used to illustrate similar situations:
-Isaac Asimov used it in his short story "The Red Queen's Race" to illustrate the concept of predestination paradox. -Vernor Vinge uses it in his novel Rainbows End to illustrate the struggle between encouraging technological advancement and protecting the world from new weapons technologies. -As an illustration of the relativistic effect that nothing can ever reach the speed of light, or the invariant speed; in particular, with respect to relativistic effect on light from galaxies near the edge of the expanding observable universe, or at the event horizon of a black hole.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Queen's_race Now, that's just... mildly provocative in nature, don't you think? And, of course, the whole 'river' aspect of the riddle seems fairly apparent to me... From Psalm 46 (To the chief Musician for the sons of Korah, A Song upon Alamoth.) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. And then, of course, there's Alice... and her adventures underground... upside down and backwards... And a 'chess game'... isn't that right, (H)Al? A prominent clue to unravelling this puzzle is presented on the second page of the original pamphlet in which the poem itself appears. This page is presented as a kind of frontispiece. It depicts a rough sketch of a woman leaning on a column and staring at four cubes on the ground in front of her. Appearing below the picture are the words:
... DECOUVRIR UNE A UNE LES SIOXANTE QUATRE PIERRES... (translation: ...find, one by one, the sixty-four stones...)
Further hints to understanding the inner geography of LSR are provided within the contents of the poem itself. In the sequence of Taurus, Gemini and Cancer, we find the following statements:
Taurus: "I can find the 64 scattered stones of the perfect cube."
Gemini: "Reassemble the scattered stones and working with square and compass, put them back in order."
Cancer: "The Mosaic Tiles of the sacred place alternate black and white."
The clear impression made by these clues is that this space is created of 64 black and white cubes; that these had once made up a larger 4 x 4 x 4 cube, but that they are now to be reassembled into an 8 x 8 chessboard arrangement. Throughout the poem there are constant references to white and black in the different signs, and to chess-terms ("the knight’s tour) which reinforce this conclusion.
It would seem clear then that the action of Le Serpent Rouge takes place on a chessboard. If we take this at face value, then we will now need to find a chessboard which functions as a metaphorical landscape in some sense, and which also acts as a zodiac. This immediately presents one major difficulty. If this chessboard is also a zodiac, in this case one consisting of 13 signs, it appears at first glance that there is no obvious way to arrange the signs on the board so that they make sense. Twelve signs would fit nicely around the twelve outer squares of a 4 x 4 block, but the inclusion of Ophiucus appears to have created an impasse, as thirteen just won’t fit.
Nevertheless, if there is a coherent framework to the poem, there seems little alternative but to imagine it as a 13 sign zodiac connected in some way to a chessboard in a landscape.
A possible way forward from this impasse is suggested in the 1997 edition of the Guinness Book of Answers. The following sentence appears in a short description of the zodiac:
"Ophiucus is considered by European astrologers to be not so much the 13th sign as the second half of the sign of Scorpio."www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/merovingios_renneschateau06b.htmI think we just rolled 'doubles'... Well, it may be more of an eagle, really... which is the 'regenerated' or 'higher' aspect of Scorpio... as luck would have it... and symbol of the tribe of Dan, I believe... Still alive... Now, let's just 'circle around' and connect this last bit to what we were discussing last night, regarding the 'bull' of Taurus... Probably the rarest form of Scorpio is that of an Eagle. The arrangement of the stars of the constellation bears as much resemblance to a flying bird as a scorpion. Scorpio, being the sign of occult initiation, the flying eagle - the king of birds - represents the highest and most spiritual type of Scorpio, in which it transcends the venomous insect of the earth. As Scorpio and Taurus are opposites each other in the zodiac, their symbolism is often closely intermingled...Manly P. Hall, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" So, the 'scorpion' becomes 'The Scorpion King'... With 'thanks' to the Youtube poster that looks a lot like... Ringo... Yes, 'friend'... 'rough times' of various kinds reflect themselves in our lives in many ways,- it seems that only rarely are we able to express them in ways that make the pain into something ... beautiful... like a song. I also enjoy the thought of finally turning something 'painful' into something... finer. Like this... That's what alchemy is all about, isn't it? I think it is... Oh, goodness... the Youtube poster 'The Avatar Kalki' has a Twitter account... wouldn't you just know it? So that you can 'follow them'? Lololol... To a 'good end'... And a 'better beginning'... Full circle.

Oh, dear... my entire post is gone. I had prepared my 1221st post, for 12/21, and I was going to post it at 8:21, but... something happened... and suddenly, I was thrown to the bottom of the entire page of my posts, and then, I was re-directed to a 'payment' request, and in order to return to the 'free forum', I returned to an empty page. I don't know what to say, except... that wasn't very nice. It was a great post, too... so, I guess I'll just have to type the whole thing over again... and I will. I liked it that much. Oh, run, run, Rudolph... The thing is, the quote has to do with '21', which is Black Jack, isn't it? and we were just speaking of 'gaming', I think... and it just seems appropriate to everything that we've been 'uncovering' in my little thesis, so far. Now, the subject of the quote (from Manly P. Hall's "Secret Teachings of All Ages") has to do with a mysterious item known to history as the Isiac Table (or Tablet)... this is said to have formed the altar of the 'Greater Mysteries' at the Great Pyramid of Egypt, before which Plato stood at his own initiation. In regard to this 'Table', the 'frivolous' Eliphas Levi wrote, in his "History of Magic": "The learned Jesuit (Father Montfaucon)," writes Levi, "divined that it contained the hieroglyphic key to sacred alphabets, though he was unable to develop the explanation. It is divided into three equal compartments; above are the twelve houses of heaven and below are the corresponding distributions of labor (work periods) throughout the year, while in the middle place are twenty-one sacred signs answering to the letters of the alphabet. In the midst of all is the pantomorphic IYNX, emblem of universal being and corresponding as such to the Hebrew Yod, or to that unique letter from which all the other letters were formed. The IYNX is encircled by the Ophite triad, answering to the Three Mother Letters of the Egyptian and Hebrew alphabets. On the right are the Ibimorphic and Serapian triads; on the left are those of Nepthys and Hecate, representing active and passive, fixed and volatile, fructifying fire and generating water. Each pair of triads in conjunction with the center produces a septenary, and a septenary is contained in the center. The three septenaries furnish the absolute number of the three worlds, as well as the complete number of primitive letters, to which a complementary sign is added, like zero to the nine numerals."
Levi's hint may be construed to mean that the twenty-one figures in the center section of the Table represent the twenty-one major trumps of the Tarot cards. If this be so, is not the zero card, cause of so much controversy, the nameless crown of the Supreme Mind, the crown being symbolized by the hidden triad in the upper part of the throne in the center of the Table? Might not the first emanation of this Supreme Mind be well symbolized by a juggler or magician with the symbols of the four lower worlds spread out before him: the rod, the sword, the cup, and the coin? Thus considered, the zero card belongs nowhere among the others but is in fact the fourth dimensional point from which they all emanated and consequently is broken up into twenty-one cards (letters) which, when gathered together, produce the zero. The cipher appearing upon this card would substantiate this interpretation, for the cipher, or circle, is emblematic of the superior sphere from which issue the lower worlds, powers, and letters. Keter... Crown,- to which Malkuth/Kingdom (the lower 'powers' just referred to) returns. I think with a flaming sword... At any rate, you see that we have a real Rosetta Stone... and since we already discussed the 'Saved by Zero' thing, we'll move along to the IYNX(S) thing... and yes, I like IYNX(S), 'Andy'... And, the 'circle' or 'wheel' brings us back around to the Tarot... And our 'Wheel of Destiny' or 'Wheel of Fortune'. So, let's try this again... I'm feeling Lucky... Now, this is all relevant to the 'Wheel' in question, by adding the theories of a man named Westcott on the subject of the Tablet, written in about 1887, and quoted in Hall's work: "The diagram of Levi, by which he explains the mystery of the Tablet, shows the Upper Region divided into four seasons of the year, each with three seasons of the Zodiac, and he has added the four-lettered sacred name, the Tetragrammaton, assigning Jod to Aquarius, that is Canopus, He to Taurus, that is Apis, Vau to Leo, that is Momphta (my own note,- it sounds kind of like 'Mustafa', don't you think), and He final to Typhon. Note the Cherubic parallel - Man, Bull, Lion and Eagle. The fourth form is found as either Scorpion or Eagle depending on the intention...
...in the Demotic Zodiac, the Snake replaces the Scorpion.
"The Lower Region he ascribes to the twelve simple Hebrew letters, associating them with the four quarters of the horizon. Compare the Sepher Yezirah, Cap.v.,sec.1."Well, how do you like that? It looks like we're reading the same books, at least... You'll notice that a 'four-lettered name' is assoicated with these creatures, and on our 'Wheel' is spells TORA/ROTA... and its number is 10... One with a Zero... Here are some older versions of the 'Wheel', as shown in Papus' work... Now, that looks familiar, somehow... lolol... And here is what he has to say about the 'Wheel of Fortune'... The hieroglyphic meaning of the Yod is the finger of man; the forefinger extended as a sign of command. This letter has therefore become the image of potential manifestation, of spiritual duration; lastly of the eternity of time, with all the ideas relating to it.
The Yod is a simple letter; astronomically it corresponds with the zodiacal sign of the Virgin.
TENTH CARD OF THE TAROT.
The Wheel of Fortune.
Two principal ideas are expressed by this symbol--
1. The idea of Command, of Supremacy.
2. The idea of the duration, of the eternal action of time.
The wheel of fortune suspended upon its axis. To the right Anubis, the genius of good ascending; to the left Typhon, the genius of evil descending, the Sphinx is balanced upon the centre of the wheel, holding a sword in its lion claws.
The first idea is expressed by the ternary, Anubis or positive, Typhon or negative, the balanced Sphinx the ruler.
The second idea is expressed by the wheel, a line without beginning or end, the symbol of eternity.
The 10th arcanum is midway between the 7th and 13th arcana.
7 + 13 = 20 20/2 = 10.
It expresses the incessant equilibrium, which modifies the creative realizations of the septenary by the necessary destruction by Death (arcanum 13). The three arcana, 7, 10, 13, correspond exactly with the Hindu trinity or Trimurti.
Brahma = Creator = Arcanum 7.
Siva = Destroyer = Arcanum 13.
Vishnu = Preserver = Arcanum 10.
Now, somehow, I have a feeling that somebody's teacher already had that 'tidbit' on the 'board'... Hahahahaha... And, look at this... it's just a little 'tidbit' of my own... An extended forefinger... And a 'sign of command', which I've mentioned in regard to another 'wheel' (perhaps) that I 'showed you' in an Ode from another little-known work, "The Odes of Solomon"... number 23: ...And His thought was like a letter; His will descended from on high, and it was sent like an arrow which is violently shot from the bow: 6 And many hands rushed to the letter to seize it and to take and read it: 7 And it escaped their fingers and they were affrighted at it and at the seal that was upon it. 8 Because it was not permitted to them to loose its seal: for the power that was over the seal was greater than they. 9 But those who saw it went after the letter that they might know where it would alight, and who should read it and who should hear it. 10 But a wheel received it and came over it: 11 And there was with it a sign of the Kingdom and of the Government: 12 And everything which tried to move the wheel it mowed and cut down: 13 And it gathered the multitude of adversaries, and bridged the rivers and crossed over and rooted up many forests and made a broad path. 14 The head went down to the feet, for down to the feet ran the wheel, and that which was a sign upon it. 15 The letter was one of command, for there were included in it all districts; 16 And there was seen at its head, the head which was revealed even the Son of Truth from the Most High Father, 17 And He inherited and took possession of everything. And the thought of many was brought to nought. So many parallels... Okay... going for the 'triple-header'... I mean, 'ternary'... Wish me 'luck'-y... Like a blue-haired troll... lololol... I'm sorry,- really. That was just for 'fun', but it wasn't really that funny, was it? Trolls usually are... in the Christmas catalog, I think they were called "Wish-niks", which was kind of odd. They had some animal-shaped trolls, and I remember a giraffe, and a horse, and one was a cow, I'm pretty sure, so that would be a... "Most-beloved Wish-nik Cow", wouldn't it? See how multi-cultural that was? Lolol... All things to all people, isn't that right? Oh, never mind... it's 7:33, and I am reminded that this day is actually the date of the 'winter solstice',- the shortest day of the year, on which the sun... dies. For three months (days), it will lie below us, in a 'black hole', while we mourn its loss... on the 'bright side', it can't help shining upon those 'down under' for the same three days, at least. And for this, too, we give 'thanks'... The Lord works in mysterious ways, his wonders to perform... indeed... And, believe it or not, that brings us back around to our Wheel, again... let's check the symbolism of these cards again, as shown in the work by Papus,- We just saw this one... I would like to point out that the Sphinx appears at the top of the wheel, and two figures appear to be 'riding' the wheel,- one is going up, while the other is going down... you see? The one that is 'descending' appears in this copy of the card to hold a trident, or fork, which is the symbol of Neptune (Poseidon), and the other 'ascending' figure resembles a 'dog' (said to be Anubis), and holds what appears to be a caduceus staff, representative of 'regeneration'... bearing in mind that Sirius is called also the 'Dog Star'. Notice the similar imagery of the 'boat' at the bottom of the 'post' and in the picture, above... Remember now these words from Manly P. Hall... The pagans looked upon the stars as living things, capable of influencing the destinies of individuals, nations, and races. That the early Jewish patriarchs believed that the celestial bodies participated in the affairs of men is evident to any student of Biblical literature, as, for example, in the Book of Judges:
"They fought from heaven, even the stars in their courses fought against Sisera."Of course, to me, the symbolism only helps to forward my own thesis, which is that this figure that is represented by Neptune/Poseidon (also shown at Rennes-le-Chateau in the figure of Asmodeus, complete with trident in the stature there) was temporarily placed in the 'descending' position on the great 'wheel of fortune' that is represented by the wheel of the zodiac, or, the 'turning' of the stars/constellations... and that this same figure will 'ascend', just as surely, by the absolute and infallible turning of the 'wheel' of 'destiny' that the Zodiac represents. That the figure represents Poseidon, ruler of the Sea (Abyss), is shown by the alternate symbolism of Typhon/Leviathan, that great serpent of the 'sea'. And the message of this card is, ultimately, the same as the message for this day... a day when the 'sun' dies to the 'world', for a time... "What goes down into darkness, will rise once again... in the light of glory." It is the 'message of the stars',- as true today, as it was yesterday... as it will be tomorrow. And so, we say, "Glory to God in the Highest..." To 'Joy'... in the morning. I think that I'd like to add to this post, since I'd like to continue on the theme of 'fighting stars', and Venus, in particular... and I'd like also to continue with this post number, for a bit, while leaving the post below us 'as is'... I'm liking the numbers... To begin with, I'd like to bring once again to your notice the name 'Aprhodite', the 'Ocean's Daughter', yes? and our Venus, and the allegorical (and backwards) 'Etidorpha'... which brings us here... Please notice the Pythagorean 'tetraktys' on the spine of the book... coincidentally... I would also like to remind you at this point of the Mayan prophecies concerning Venus, for this particular point in 'time', and remind you also that their 'understanding' of 'Venus' was something more on the order of a female 'Mars'... she was a 'warrior'... and that, as much as Venus would 'love' to be 'a lover', the truth may be more like this,- I come not to bring peace, but a sword...And maybe that's because that really is 'just what you needed' right now. Evidently, the Mayans and the early Hebrews spoke to the stars, and looked to them for assistance in times of need... since these individual 'stars' made up the larger body of the Universal Man, the Heavenly Adam, that was a greater reflection of these smaller 'stars', or persons, if you will, that make up the 'smaller' or Earthly (Terrestrial) Adam that is the Earth itself, and then further reflected in the much smaller earthly man, or individual Adams, which are You and Me... individual 'cells' or consciousnesses, contributing to a 'greater unity' or 'reality', and then, repeat that thought... bigger... smaller... Ping pong, maybe...? Oh, Lucy in the sky... with a racket... I guess that's one way... Go, go, Gadzilla... lolol... Definitely 'one of my kind'... Now, I would like to point out once again the connection between Venus, and the scorpion/serpent and its higher, 'feathered' aspect, or eagle... the Mayans connected the planet Venus with their 'feathered serpent' Quetzalcoatl. In regard to this fact, the winter solstice that occured three years ago, in 2012, brought with it a 'galactic synchronization' and a transit of Venus with the Sun on June 6 of that year (in the sign of 'the twins' or 'the Lovers' in the Tarot deck, and remember that Venus was known as the 'original trickster' due to its misidentification with the sun at certain times), which "transit is to be understood as a visible appearance of the Feathered Serpent". The text goes on to say that "for contemporary Mayan elders this points to 'Cosmic Initiation' (Prophecy 13)" and a time when maximum sunspot activity will generate 'other forms of energy on Earth'. Now, that's all very interesting, but what is a 'Cosmic Initiation'? It may be the 'ultimate' "Chemycal Wedding" of the Philosophers... the 'real' raising of the 'physical' into the 'spiritual'. If we are to compare the 'true' on one level to the 'truth' on other levels, then we would have to compare it to an 'earthly initiation' event, in which the 'individual' (or earthly 'Adam', maybe, represented by Man?) is 'raised' to a higher 'level' of 'be'-ing,- but in this case, the 'Cosmic' or the Heavenly 'Adam' is 'raised' to a correspondingly 'higher level' of 'be-ing... or existence... which may actually be 'necessitated' by the existence of our suspected 'Kraken in the Sky' or a similar 'catastrophic event'. After all, necessity is said to be most often a special kind of 'Muse'... These prophecies speak of 'changes' which may alter the entire future of our civilization, our planet, and perhaps, even, our Universe... they are, what you call 'catastrophic' in Nature... But they are also prophecies of Hope... and a 'transition' to a New Age... New heavens, and a new earth. In my Father's house are many mansions; I go to prepare a place for you, in order that where I am, there you might be, also.I think you're going to need a new place, but I think 'they' already knew that. From the beginning, really... The Mayans kept meticulous records of the movements of Venus... and made many, many sacrifices against possible future cataclysm. It's that... big... And that important. I think you can count on it. Thank goodness we've got 'popping potion', eh? Now, admittedly, the thought of a 'modern' mathematician and scientist such as Douglas Hofstadter promoting something like a 'popping potion' seems to be fairly... frivolous... on the face of it, but there must be a point, after all. He was not only an amusing and capable storyteller, but astoundingly intelligent as well. It seemed to be important to him to introduce to us the notion of 'levels', and the possibility of 'switching' from one level to the next... and, under the circumstances, I'm certainly willing to entertain such a notion. It seems 'hopeful'... unless, that is, the 'lizards' swinging from the 'brass lamps' manage to stop us... Curious... But, a 'Cosmic Initiation' would certainly qualify as a 'Great Work', or perhaps a... 'Magnum Opus'... don't you think? Today – today – today
is the wedding of the King.
If you are born for this,
Chosen by God for joy,
You may ascend the mount
Whereon three temples stand
And see the Thing yourself.
Take heed,
Observe yourself!
If you’re not clean enough,
The wedding can work ill.
Perjure here at your peril;
He who is light, beware!www.alchemylab.com/chemical_wedding_rosenkruetz.htmOoooh... another riddle... Let me tell you something else about the 'scorpion', and how it 'relates' to the "Golden Fleece", believe it or not... This quote is also from "The Secret Teachings of All Ages": To Mars, the ancient plane of cosmic energy, the Atlantean and Chaldean "star gazers" assigned Aries as a diurnal throne and Scorpio as a nocturnal throne. Those not raised to spiritual life by initiation are described as "dead from the sting of a scorpion," for they wander in the night side of divine power. Through the mystery of the Paschal Lamb, or the attainment of the Golden Fleece, these souls are raised into the constructive day Power of Mars in Aries - the symbol of the Creator. Now, let's look at this illustration again, with an 'eye' to the symbolism, specifically... Look, the Lion is a Unicorn... well, it's like Alice's "Lion and the Unicorn", really... in One... and it has... eagle's feet... And there's a scorpion over its head... And the 'breaking of the pillars' reminds me of something else... Well, there is Samson... And, Hercules... And Venus... The circle was the ring and the crown, and that was the diadem of this QUEEN of the castle.
This passage associates the Venus figure with the written symbol of Venus: a cross surmounted by a circle - the queen crowned. This sign is related to the Celtic cross mentioned above, and to the Egyptian Ankh, which was also used by the Cathars, who referred to it as “the Albigensian cross.” This imagery may further be related to that of the constellation Virgo, who is depicted in iconography as crowned with a circle of stars, as are Isis and the Virgin Mary.
The stones of the mosaic pavement from the sacred place are alternately white or black, and JESUS, like ASMODEUS, observes their alignments.
This again is the black and white chessboard tiling on the floor of the church at Rennes-le-Chateau, which both the statues of Jesus and Asmodeus are staring down on. Perhaps we are meant to observe the alignment of the chessboard with other items in the church, and/or to project these alignments outward through the wider surrounding landscape.
My view seemed incapable of seeing the summit where the Sleeping Beauty lay hidden.
Again, we have a reference to the goddess buried within the mountain: the Venusberg tale, upon which the story of Sleeping Beauty is based.
It is not by the magical strength of HERCULES that one deciphers these mysterious symbols engraved by observers of the past.
This is a reference to the cave known as the Tomb of Hercules (a.k.a Enoch), which is covered with hieroglyphic symbols, just as the tomb of Hermes (Enoch) supposedly is.-From "Le Serpent Rouge" www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/merovingios_renneschateau06c.htmWell, how do you like that?

Merry Christmas, friends... I think I have a little something-something for you from Rudolph... I hope you like it. I was watching a short 'tutorial/promotional' video for a certain 'level' of a certain 'game' on the X-Box, and the narrator mentioned a poster on the wall that featured (of all things) a Kraken in the sky... and they asked, out loud, 'Why?', a Kraken in the sky? They understood a Kraken in the sea, but... not the sky. I can tell you why... would you like to hear it? I'm going to tell you anyway... The ancients used to refer to the sky/Universe as the 'Celestial Sea',- in fact, I just showed you a picture of an Egyptian 'boat' sailing on the 'celestial sea'. There it is. Now, the maxim of most importance here is always, "As above, so below", which means that 'truth' is 'truth' on whichever 'level' that you want to refer to. And, if there is a Kraken in the terrestrial sea, then there will be a corresponding 'Kraken' somewhere in the 'celestial sea'... you see? Lololol... But the important question now is, "What do Krakens do in the sea?" They sink your boat. It's what they do... So... what are you going to do? The next most important question now becomes, "What does the Kraken represent?" It is obviously both 'true', and likewise symbolic of that truth, so... think about 'flying spaghetti monsters', and 'black holes', and what happens (or is said to happen, that is) as you approach a 'black hole' in space,- it's kind of like what I told you about 'free falling', I believe. You have no sensation of 'falling' at that distance, but as 'gravity' pulls you down, you suddenly realize what's coming up to meet you... so to speak... Now, I'm not saying that it's a 'doom prediction', I'm just sayin' that... theoretically... symbolically... speaking, this scenario is as plausible as any. And it was foreseen... Happy Holidays, gamers, One and All... And... 'run, run Rudolph'... So, astraea... how are you liking my 'Krakken Whisperer' now? Lololol... You know, it occurs to me that the circumstances that might necessitate the creation of a 'new heavens and a new earth' would have to be fairly... dire. But... who really knows what it means to 'pop through' the other end of a 'black hole'? Nobody... so far... I say, 'Thank goodness they're "perfectly poppable",' that's what I say... Well, that, and... 'How about those "noodly appendages"?' A little Kraken-spaghetti humor... I wonder what it would look like, symbolically, if we took a straight line (representing linear Time), and pulled 'our end' through a black hole? I'll bet it would look something like this... Finis...?The end... or the beginning...? Well, now... I'll bet you didn't expect that, did you? Are you kidding? Reindeers love 'Obsession'... it was 'my' fragrance for several years; they said that it smelled good on me, and I imagine that I attracted my share of 'wild life' with it... at least, it seemed to work well enough. But, yes... I suppose that you should leave the reindeer alone, after all... We have to pull Santa's (Saturn's) 'sleigh'... 'through'... The 'darkness'... the 'black night'... My goodness. Lololol... I'll tell you another little 'Christmas secret'... Do you know why the Magi brought the Christ child incense? I do... The Phoenix is said to build its nest from incense, and it's like I pointed out to you before... At the time of his 'destruction', Korah was laying incense on his altars, to burn... You understand... The Phoenix is destroyed by fire, and raised again... Get Wisdom with Understanding, they say... that, and 'there are no such things as coincidences'. Believe it. And hay, Mike, I'll play it... Are we having fun yet? So, now that 'Christmas' is officially over, you can all play with your new 'toys', I guess... and on that note, let's continue briefly with our 'black hole' theory, and just a couple of thoughts that I'd like to add this morning, before I go on with some other thoughts... and some Good music... And, how about their album, titled, Diver Down? Which reminds me of another song... coincidentally... lolol... And then, there's this one... It's 7:33... take us down, Ronnie James... Now, as far as that 'Kraken in the Sky' goes... let's just 'approach that' as any good gamer would... I mean, here we are... And the 'parallels' are important here, as I think you've seen, or are beginning to see,- we are working with 'levels', just as there are 'levels' of 'play' within your own various 'games'. In fact, as I'm sure that some of you have 'suspected' by now, these 'gaming systems' serve as a means of 'training' your minds to think along these 'story' lines, and to form 'responses', in advance of a 'real' situation which may arise on any of various 'levels' which may come into 'play'. Simply put... Which means, in its most basic sense, that in the same way that you are able to 'beat' those 'levels' within the context of your 'virtual' 'game', these 'higher levels' can also be expected to be 'beat-able', and indeed... 'beaten' already. But these 'higher levels' call for a 'greater understanding' of the 'game'... there are 'hidden' things, and nuances... you do actually have to 'probe' these 'levels' to find the 'bonuses', and the means to enter the next 'level', in order to continue in the 'game'... So... who thinks they're ready to beat the Kraken...? Level up... And while we're at it... "It's an underwater level... don't forget to bring a towel..." ROFL... Dance...? The worst character ever... for sure... "Walking on the moon"... Hermetically speaking, the Moon represents the physical side of human nature,- so, therefore, 'the dark side of the Moon' would mean what, do you suppose? The 'darker' or 'evil', if you will, side of human nature (not to be confused with 'the Force', which is not 'human nature' at all, although there is a 'dark side' of that, too, so you can see that there are 'levels', even, of 'darkness', which all speak of a similar 'state')... that is where they wish to see you, certainly. No man's land... Now, I wanted to return just shortly to the subject of the Scorpion/Eagle, and the symbolism that can be found there... I am a swallow,- I am that scorpion, the daughter of Ra...I wrote a poem, years ago now, that I submitted to "Saxon's" website, in which the main character (myself) was represented by a small bird. I remember that he remarked to me that the 'bird' was the 'story of Isis', and I replied to him, 'Yes, it is; and it is a beautiful story, but this is my story...' And so it was. And then, there is the 'rest of the story', as they say... I like this story, myself... I hope Cecil takes the part of the Kraken... Look, they're out West... "You were expecting maybe 'Lady Godiva'?" Yes, that's in there... wait for it... Lololol... And, hay... the 'phantom' shows up with a... pair of scissors... Yep. We need popcorn... I'm having fun... So, I just heard the little 'story' on the radio about the children with their 'light sabres' in church, and the announcer remarked, "Can we just stop this now...?" And I thought, 'Why in the World would we want to stop this? The beginning of a 'Great Day of Small Things'...? The 'Force' is with us... Unless, of course, the announcer is a "Star Trek" fan... that would explain a lot... Lolol... By the way, I was awake much earlier this morning, and I meant to post, but it was cold, and I just... did the 'blanket' thing. Well, let's just leave that 'blanket' part out of it; what I meant to say was that the music was all pretty great... I always notice what's on, and I do 'like to dream between the sound machine'... And then, I guess I'd like to say that as far as 'revolutions' go, that sounds as Good as any... I think that John Lennon would approve... I mean, imagine... All the little Lights coming on... all over the World... Beautiful.

"White Wedding"... now, that's a Good One, under the circumstances... Hello, hello... You see, a situation can be very much 'bigger' than we are, and yet, we are very much a part of the situation at hand... and this is one of those situations, I think. On all levels, men have 'labored' through the ages to build a 'new temple'... something 'eternal'... From the individual 'rough ashlar' that we each contribute toward to the 'whole' 'earthly Adam' (ranging from the individual 'adams/atoms' of our selves, to the larger 'Earth-ly Adam' which represents Man and the Earth as a whole 'creature'), to the 'perfected stone' of the Earth, that we are to 'refine by our labors' here, and then 'contribute' toward the 'Heavenly Temple' of the 'body' of the Greater or Universal 'Adam', in order to secure 'His' ascension to a greater state of 'perfection', symbolized by the alchemical process and Mystic Initiation. "As above, so below..." A Mycenaean Greek reference found on two Linear B clay tablets at Pylos to a deity or semi-deity called ti-ri-se-ro-e; Tris Hḗrōs, "thrice or triple hero") could be connected to the later epithet "thrice wise", Trismegistos, applied to Hermes/Thoth. On the aforementioned PY Tn 316 tablet as well as other Linear B tablets, found in Pylos, Knossos and Thebes, appears the name of the deity "Hermes" as e-ma-ha, but not in any apparent connection with the "Trisheros". This interpretation of poorly understood Mycenaean material is disputed, since Hermes Trismegistus is not referenced in any of the copious sources before he emerges in Hellenistic Egypt.
The majority of Greeks, and later Romans, did not accept Hermes Trismegistus in the place of Hermes. The two gods remained distinct from one another. Cicero noted several individuals referred to as "Hermes": "the fifth, who is worshipped by the people of Pheneus [in Arcadia], is said to have killed Argus, and for this reason to have fled to Egypt, and to have given the Egyptians their laws and alphabet: he it is whom the Egyptians call Theyt." In the same place, Cicero mentions a "fourth Mercury (Hermes) was the son of the Nile, whose name may not be spoken by the Egyptians." The most likely interpretation of this passage is as two variants on the same syncretism of Greek Hermes and Egyptian Thoth (or sometimes other gods); the one viewed from the Greek-Arcadian perspective (the fifth, who went from Greece to Egypt), the other viewed from the Egyptian perspective (the fourth, where Hermes turns out "actually" to have been a "son of the Nile," i.e. a native god). Both these very good early references in Cicero (most ancient Trismegistus material is from early centuries AD) corroborate the view that Thrice-Great Hermes originated in Hellenistic Egypt through syncretism with Egyptian gods (the Hermetica refer most often to Thoth and Amun).
The Hermetic literature added to the Egyptian concerns with conjuring spirits and animating statues that inform the oldest texts, Hellenistic writings of Greco-Babylonian astrology and the newly developed practice of alchemy (Fowden 1993: pp65–68). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermes_TrismegistusWell, that's interesting... And, speaking of interesting, let's look at that 'creature' again,- it should remind you of something... Like a... Merkaba... Look carefully,- do you see the 'four creatures' in One? I do... There is the head of the Lion, the chest/torso of the Man, the feet of the Eagle and the horn of a 'bull', with the six wings of the Cherub/Angel. In the center of the chest/torso, where the heart should be, is a five-pointed star, representing Venus. There are 12 'blocks' strung above him, and they are being straddled by a scorpion. The hourglass of 'Time' and the 'skull' of 'Death' are atop the pillars that are being 'toppled' by this 'creature'. Do you remember that in the story of Samson, he came across the carcass (dead body) of a lion, in which he found a colony of bees, which had produced honey within the chest cavity? Curious... nevertheless, our 'hero' took the 'honey' from the 'dead' lion, and gave it to his own parents, who pronounced it 'good'; still, he couldn't exactly tell them the 'real' source of the honey, or they would most likely not have 'accepted it', much less, perceived its inherent 'goodness' by 'tasting it'. They would most likely have rejected it outright, I think... And there's a 'moral' to that story, if you're willing to contemplate it... Now, bees are interesting, since bees are a particular symbol of, and sacred to... Venus... as luck would have it. The five-pointed star in the 'chest' of the 'creature' and the 'honey' produced by the 'colony of bees' in the chest of the lion in our story seem to point us in the same direction. Venus. And I really mean that. Lololol... Here are two 'curious' facts for you... I read that the 'earthly' origins of bees, wheat, and bananas cannot actually be traced, and that certain initiates trace their origins to Venus, instead. And then, there is this, for what it's worth... A popular superstition in the Middle Ages showed the 'Devil' with the feet of a rooster... A rooster... I wonder why? Joy... ...clay tablets at Pylos to a deity or semi-deity called ti-ri-se-ro-e; Tris Hḗrōs, "thrice or triple hero") could be connected to the later epithet "thrice wise", Trismegistos, applied to Hermes/Thoth. On the aforementioned PY Tn 316 tablet as well as other Linear B tablets, found in Pylos, Knossos and Thebes, appears the name of the deity "Hermes" as e-ma-ha, but not in any apparent connection with the "Trisheros". This interpretation of poorly understood Mycenaean material is disputed, since Hermes Trismegistus is not referenced in any of the copious sources before he emerges in Hellenistic Egypt...Tres Hombres, maybe...? Well, they say the "magic's in the music", don't they...? It is... Like this one... Before I go on with some other illustrations, I would like to further point out that these prophecies that we are concerned with are... remedial... In other words, there is yet 'remedy' for these 'ills' that face us; it is part of our 'Great Work' here to do some 'healing', which is, after all, the very Greatest Magick that you can do. Let's look at the 'big picture' (or at least, an 'echo'/reflection of the Big/ger Picture), and then I will give you my own thoughts in regard to that, and the 'place that we are', here... The Mayan elders understand that we are, at present, between worlds, and that during this 'apocalyptic' period, two things will happen. The first is that new truths will be revealed through the rediscovery of Mayan wisdom and the second is that we will have the chance, both individually and collectively, to re-order our priorities, and by arriving at and effecting the right decisions, resolve the problems facing planet Earth. This is the agenda for the apocalyptic interim period leading to 2012 and the start of a New Age. In a sense, humanity is therefore on trial, working out its salvation 'with fear and trembling'.
That the world is actually moving towards its physical end is doubtful, but this possibility needs to be considered. Even if the destruction of the world is not yet on the agenda, our passage to and beyond 2012 may not be easy, since:
...the polluted energy of the collective unconsciousness will turn against humanity. Whatever happens, it will be an expression of the energy that is radiated by a humanity that is unable to live in peace and to make the right choices for peace, welfare, health and inner spirituality.Nevertheless, we do have a choice... both individually and collectively... as to which direction the future takes us. As it is also written: Choose ye this day whom ye will serve...Personally, I can only be proud to say that I come from... western Oregon... because I can hear the people around me,- and they speak of 'home', and 'healing', and 'peace' here... for all men. I understand that a law is currently being passed that will make animal abuse a felony crime (Class A), which is an encouraging sign that we are willing to defend even those creatures that cannot speak in their own defense. This is a beautiful, and wonderful, country, and a wonderful place to be in these most 'exciting' of times, and I am grateful to say that I share it with You, All... Now, let me show you something else... This is titled, the "Burney Relief", and it is from ancient Babylon... it bears a great deal of similarity to the illustration that I showed you above, don't you think? It is also interesting to note in regard to this figure, that Egyptian 'initiates' were called "panthers", as well as scarabs and lions... And the Mayans had their 'Jaguar Priests',- the reason being that they were able to slip in and out between 'worlds', silently and unnoticed, like a panther. And so, it would seem that certain 'persons' are already understanding of the notion of 'popping in and out', let's say... and really, who knows where, or when, that might be? And I think that explains very much the 'interest' of the 'alien races' in humanity,- something is predicted to 'pop up' here, within humanity, that will disprove their 'superiority' and serve to establish a new 'level' of "Universal be-ing" that is unlikely to be in 'agreement' with their own current (perceived) 'position of dominance' here... and there... The 'hybridization programs' would represent their attempts to "replicate" a "replacement", or produce this 'God gene' before it manifests itself. The 'good news' is that Mr. Hofstadter reminds us that "the tree of G is recursive to the original at any point along the path". Any place... any time. And this is the "bird-footed Queen"... look at her feet... a little bit 'od', but she seems to keep Good Company... Lololol... And I say that if she has the feet of a bird, and wings to boot, then, surely... She can fly... Like an eagle. Or at least "free-fall with style", right 'Andy'? Hopefully, in some red satin shoes... Now, I like to 'listen to the music', and "El Dorado" speaks to me... It tells me about a 'Gold/en Man' and the middle of a lake... because he is under the water, so to speak; and as the legends tell us, he had enough gold to 'throw it away'. Maybe he had a 'golden goose'...
