You'll see that I'm 'juggling' the numbers just a little bit... Hay... everybody else does it... All in the name of Good Juju, my friends... One of them has to be the 'door code'... Wait... I think I've got it...

Knocking on heaven's door... No, wait... that's a salve salesman... ...and you don't want any... Lolol... Great music this morning,- I feel heavily... inspired... So... Let's Go... Let's see... where were we? Right... we were knocking on heaven's door with our heads, because we were hanging upside down... the 'cushioned skull' of the Ram might be nice... But, back to the work at hand. I think I'll start my note-making with some thoughts on the 'stone coffin' or 'coffin', which seems to be so prominent in historical 'symbolism', in one form, or another. And, if this 'stone coffin' is to be True/Truth, then it must have 'parallels'... it must be 'true' on more than one 'level'. And, it is. Let's begin with some of the more 'obvious' examples of this, and where they are located... We can find that, of the original 7 'Wonders of the World' (or, things to be seen"), at least two are obviously related to our 'stone coffin',- The Great Pyramid at Giza, and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, after which my own favorite "Castle of the Slave" is modeled. It survives, but the original Mausoleum did not. And, I told you previously that I believe that this 'castle/mausoleum' of the Tobiad family was built specifically to 'echo' this older 'stone coffin', and therefore, the same associated 'mystery'. The most significant symbol of the lion (particularly a lioness, with a mane) is shown at the 'castle', as well as jaguars, and eagles. These symbols are also 'clues' as to the identity of the associated mystery, and remember that Hatshepsut had herself memorialized in the form of a lion/ess... As to the Pyramid at Giza, it has long been speculated that it was built as the 'coffin' or burial chamber for a very great Pharoah, but the truth is that it never served to hold a 'body'... there is no evidence of an actual 'burial' at this site; only the 'memorial' of a Great 'burial'. This memorial also stands, to this day, as a reminder of that which was 'lost', so long ago. You see that there are actually three pyramids at this site... which would make it 'thrice-great', don't you think? And here, looking very much like the statue of Hatshepsut, is the Sphinx... without a beard... I wonder if it was 'removed', for some reason? It, too, represents a lion/woman, so to speak... which is what the headdress indicates,- the 'mane', or long locks, of the 'creature' being represented, as does the 'beard', which is also shown as part of the Pharoah's regalia, as well as the heavily lined eyes that look rather 'womanly', and the serpent (Uraeus) that is worn is another appellation for 'Serapis', or Soroapis... This is Hatshepsut... A 'King'... in the same regalia... Notice that there are two serpents in the Uraeus... and notice the shepherd's crook and the flail that are also part of the Pharoah's regalia... Ah... 'King of Pain'... Somehow appropriate. Now, these 'mysteries' of 'Hari-Api' were, as I said, reserved for only the very highest of the Initiates, including Pharoah, who, as the 'King', represented our 'Hari-Api', who must also then be a Royal personage, so to speak... a King/Queen in some way, of the highest order, since this is what the 'symbolism' represents. I've got to take a short break, but... I'll be back... Lolol... Hey, ya... oh, shake it... shake it, shake it... Ice cold, baby. It's the 'hail'... Hay... that's London Calling... Lololol... Owwwwwooooooo... Well, that was fun... Now, it's 'serendipitous' that I should have mentioned 'thrice-great' in regard to the Pyramid complex at Giza, really, since that was going to be the subject of my notes this morning,- the connection of our 'hero' with Hermes, or Mercury, if you will. And there is one... wouldn't you just know it? Although this particular connection is unknown, and unguessed, by most people, I think you will see that it has everything to do with everything... I have already mentioned the name of the 'Thrice-Great Hermes', or Thoth, as some would have it, and his place in the 'Initiations' into these very greatest of Mysteries. And when one speaks of the 'Hermetic Wisdom' or knowledge, it is of his teachings that they speak. Now, the existence of this most Arcane of Wisdom is known, and it is said in subsequent 'mythology' that this very Great Wisdom was written on, or contained within, some "Emerald Tablets". Immediately, I can find a connection with the "Emerald" statue of Serapis, and so, I think that I can make a valid connection with these two figures. And, as far as 'emeralds' and mythology go, I can think of another story that involves a certain 'emerald' that went 'missing' from a very Great Crown... Anyway, these most wonderful 'emerald tablets' that evidently existed, also went 'missing'... they disappeared, at some point, from history,- they are 'gone, but not forgotten', as they say. They formed a critical part of the Arcane Wisdom that was taught by the ancient Egyptians, even up to the time of Moses, and Thutmose III, and Hatshepsut, but after that... they were lost, somehow. But... there is an interesting little tidbit left in the 'oral histories' of the great scholars of theology. Before I 'reveal' it to you, we should return to a bit of 'preparatory work', or... further laying the foundation. By the way, this might be a good time to mention that I noticed that your 'Easter' holiday (commemorating a Great 'resurrection') will be held on the same day that is said to be the anniversary of the dedication of the Great Temple of Solomon... 4/20. How very serendipitous, I thought... And that reminds me of something else... And He went a little farther, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt.”I believe that it did... the 'numbers' seem to support it. Let's see that Outkast video again... and let's check some of the 'stage dressing' this time... A coffin, with flowers; the lavish use of 'emerald green' with black and white (even black and white television); oh, boots...; 'Dookie' and 'Possum' Jenkins, and Johnny 'Vulture'; photographs; 'the Love Below', and Benjamin Andre, and Ice Cold... 3000... "He knows how to get up there and shake his ass..." Lololol... And, by way of laying a 'foundation', let me just add this little 'tidbit'... the 'carcass of the lion' that Samson took the honeycomb from that he subsequently fed his parents with, but never revealed the 'true source' of the 'honey', is the same 'dead lion' that is represented by the symbolism above,- the 'old religion' of the Initiates/Pharoah with which his parents had 'made a break' under the new 'law/God' of Moses. Well... how do you like that? That story is beginning to make sense... Under the circumstances. As does the 'cryptic', and prophetic, remark made by Paracelsus in regard to "choosing the right Lion"... It pays to read, a lot... and maybe write a little, here and there...

Perfect... And about that 'honeycomb'... you will see that part of the name 'Hari-Api', as well as Soroapis, is Api... which is translated as 'bull', but it is also the root of the word 'apiary', or... Beehive. One of the Masonic 'symbols'... And shown in other symbolism, thusly: The bee, coincidentally, is associated with Venus. My own father kept beehives, and we ate the honey from the comb... it was... wonderful. From real honey, comes the substance known as 'Royal Jelly', which is said to be a 'natural life-extender'. I don't know... I can't afford it now. But I still love honey... and bees... Viva la Vida...Nature is full of Magic... How about some Night Ranger...? Or some Def Leppard... Hmmmm... well, it's a sledgehammer, all right... They blame it on Cain...

Look carefully at this one... there are 'two sides' to every story; in ours, the men laid incense at the altars, and perished in the fire; it is said that some of the daughters survived the more general fate of the rest of the members of their families, and these, I believe, are shown ascending the staircase (to the 'land of the living'?)... which must be symbolic, as well... But, hay... I love some 'Staircase'... Access granted... Now, in regard to our Hatshepsut, and her 'mortuary temple', we have this information: The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Djeser-Djeseru ("Holy of Holies"), is located beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. The mortuary temple is dedicated to the sun god Amon-Ra and is located next to the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II, which served both as an inspiration, and later, a quarry. It is considered one of the "incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt."
...There are three layered terraces reaching 97 feet tall. Each story is articulated by a double colonnade of square piers, with the exception of the northwest corner of the central terrace, which employs Proto Doric columns to house the chapel. These terraces are connected by long ramps which were once surrounded by gardens with foreign plants including frankincense and myrrh trees.
...The relief sculpture within Hatshepsut’s temple recites the tale of the divine birth of a female pharaoh – the first of its kind. The text and pictorial cycle also tell of an expedition to the Land of Punt, an exotic country on the Red Sea coast. While the statues and ornamentation have since been stolen or destroyed, the temple once was home to two statues of Osiris, a sphinx avenue as well as many sculptures of the Queen in different attitudes – standing, sitting, or kneeling. Many of these portraits were destroyed at the order of her stepson Thutmose III after her death.
...The main and axis of the temple is set to an azimuth of about 116½° and is aligned to the winter solstice sunrise, which in our modern era occurs around the 21st or 22 December each year. The sunlight penetrates through to the rear wall of the chapel, before moving to the right to highlight one of the Osiris statutes that stand on either side of the doorway to the 2nd chamber. A further subtlety to this main alignment is created by a light-box, which shows a block of sunlight that slowly moves from the central axis of the temple to first illuminate the god Amen-Ra to then shining on the kneeling figure of Thutmose III before finally illuminating the Nile god Hapi.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mortuary_Temple_of_HatshepsutNow, that's a lot of work to put into a 'mortuary temple', if you ask me,- just short of one of the 'wonders of the World'... and it has a confirmed connection the the 'Sun God', Ammon Ra. And the timing seems significant... the 'alignment' happens at about 'Christmas' time, with plantings of frankincense and myrrh trees. Just contemplate, if you will, all of the 'associated symbolism'. And, I repeat this quote, in light of Hatshepsut's own 'stone coffin',- I am a swallow; I am that scorpion, the daughter of Ra.This is the Obelisk of Hatshepsut at Karnak... And here it is, along with the Obelisk belonging to Thutmose III... Regarding these 'monuments': Recent excavations have pushed the history of Karnak back to around 3200 BC, when there was a small settlement on the bank of the Nile where Karnak now stands. The great temple complex at Karnak is, however, mostly a Middle Kingdom creation. Archaeological excavation reveals that the complex was in a near constant state of construction and deconstruction, and that almost every king of the Middle Kingdom left some mark of his presence at Karnak. The central temple at Karnak was dedicated to the state god, Amon, and is directionally oriented to admit the light of the setting sun at the time of summer solstice. Just north of this temple are the foundations of an earlier, but also central and primary, temple dedicated to the god Montu. Little remains of this temple, not because it was weathered by the elements, but rather because it was systematically deconstructed and its building stones later used in the construction of other temples. According to Schwaller de Lubicz, this mysterious dismantling of temples, found at Karnak and numerous other places in Egypt, has to do with the changing of the astrological cycles. The supplanting of the bull of Montu with the ram of Amon coincides with the astronomical shift from the age of Taurus, the bull, to the age of Aries, the ram; the earlier temple of Montu had lost its significance with the astronomical change and thus a new temple was constructed to be used in alignment with the current configuration of the stars.
The photograph shows an obelisk erected by Queen Hatshepsut (1473 -1458 BC). It is 97 feet tall and weighs approximately 320 tons (some sources say 700 tons). An inscription at its base indicates that the work of cutting the monolith out of the quarry required seven months of labor. Nearby stands a smaller obelisk erected by Tuthmosis I (1504 - 1492 BC). It is 75 feet high, has sides 6 feet wide at its base, and weighs between 143 and 160 tons. Hatshepsut raised four obelisks at Karnak, only one of which still stands. The Egyptian obelisks were always carved from single pieces of stone, usually pink granite from the distant quarries at Aswan, but exactly how they were transported hundreds of miles and then erected without block and tackle remains a mystery. sacredsites.com/africa/egypt/obelisk_of_queen_hapshetsut_karnak.html Well... there you go. A 'needle' in a hay-stack... Lololol... So... Send in the seals... Abba... Am I the only 'crazy' one, or did anyone else notice that the "P's" above look like the number 44, backwards,- the same figure made by the legs of the 'Hanged Man'...? Just coincidence, I'm sure... Like the reference to the 'Holy of Holies'... which is what the "Song of Solomon" is known as... and it is about, wouldn't you just know it?... a 'dark woman'. 'Black, but comely', I believe... And her 'beloved'... ...Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.
I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon. Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept. Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?Sounds like something of a prodigal, if you ask me... Let's start with some 'fire', then... Hay, Harry... Now, just for the sake of anyone that may be reading at this time, I should note down that I like to rise early (when it's not too cold in the middle of the night, and I'm not too sleepy), and read the Word (especially the Psalms), because the 'spirits' are said to be 'nearer' at that time,- the 'veil is thinner', you might say. I always take away something Good, and this morning, rather than the Psalms, I opened the book to the words of the prophet Ezekiel. I found this, which I want to share with you, from the 11th chapter... Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, 'Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession.' Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.
22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above. And the glory of the Lord went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the Lord had shewed me.And again,- "I Am Who I Will Be". May 'God' bless the reading of the Word this morning... 4:20... I felt that it was... particularly serendipitous timing... So, this must be my 'Cult'... I can dig it. Continuing with the 22nd verse of the 12th chapter of the book of Ezekiel, because this part is important... Son of man, what is that proverb that ye have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision faileth? Tell them therefore, Thus saith the Lord God; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision. For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel. For I am the Lord: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord God.
Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of the times that are far off. Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord God.Still... before we get to the 'end', we still have to find our 'beginning', since they are 'intertwined',- or, in other words, one is 'contained' within the other. And try not to forget that other old 'proverb' that you have in your country... "History repeats itself"... Or, in other words, it 'echoes'... Let's see if we can find some voices 'echoing' in those old Halls of Egypt... I believe that we can. If nothing else, I am a Believer... Or at least, sitting right at the "Devil's Elbow"... on the 44th... Lololol... Perfect...

And then, there's that... The lyrics to this song always seemed particularly... appropriate... Especially to the 33rd chapter of the book of the prophet Ezekiel: Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: if when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?
11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?Dinah, blow your horn...? I'll bet it's a Unicorn's horn... Oh... I have a better idea for my 'Cars'... A convertible... It's a checkered flag... Lololol... Let's Go...

This is a Good place to begin... again... We should get back to some 'historical foundation-work', by continuing with the work of Spencer Lewis, in his "History of the Rosicrucian Order", I think, and then continue on with the other 'side' of the story... "Touch and Go"... Really...? "Free Bird"? Well... (H)Al-lelujah... Are you sure it wasn't a 'flock of seagulls'...? Lolol... They ran, too... Which is funny, if you think about it... I mean, they could fly...

He (Thutmose III) appears to have been quite original in his application of the doctrines of mysticism, but held to the existing forms of religion, possibly because of political conditions. Egypt was not free from the dangers of the "grasping hand" of adjoining nations and the life of this ruler was constantly tormented by outbreaks of war; the cooperation of his military forces depended considerably upon his permitting the populace to indulge in all of its fanciful beliefs - especially the idolatrous religions. For this reason an immediate change in the fundamentals of their religion - such as was made by Thutmose's descendant, Amenhotep IV, in 1355 with such reactionary results - did not seem advisable or even necessary.
A gradual development in the existing mystical beliefs could be more easily and permanently accomplished by establishing a secret school of philosophy, the students of which would put into practice the high standards selected.
As in all ages, there were those who might be called 'advanced thinkers', true philosophers, sages, and scholars. Many of these were students of the mystical doctrines as taught by Thutmose's predecessors, and they evidently had faith in the final success of these principles; for when Thutmose proposed that the 'class' which had been meeting in his chambers become a closed and secret order, "there was no dissenting voice, and articles of limitation were established ere the assembly dispersed in the early hours of dawn."Just a couple of notes (to myself, of course), before I continue... the year 1355, mentioned above in connection with Pharoah Amenhotep, constitute two 'unlucky' numbers for certain people, I believe... 13 and 5. Now, if this 'unfortunate turn of events' was associated with Amenhotep, it should be 'noted' that the actual 'religion' of Amenhotep was 'recognized' by Thutmose, but a 'change' in the 'public religion' was not advisable 'at that time'... nevertheless, it was evidently known and taught in the 'school'. It was at this time, after the 'break' of Moses with his Egyptian 'roots', that the 'schools' became 'private' or 'closed', and you might ask yourself 'Why?' It's a good question, really... I believe that Moses took those 'teachings' with him in his 'exodus', and used them to establish his new 'nation', and his new 'God'... the one that the later Gnostics referred to as the 'Demiurgos', and which was always existent in 'potential', within the 'dual nature' that is 'God', and therefore... available as a potential 'force'. I believe that Moses took more than the 'secret teachings' with him, as well, and that is more likely the reason that he was pursued by Pharoah and an army... but, as I said before, Moses was a great student, and a great Magi(cian), and maybe it was 'destiny' that he should prevail, in order to prove the 'Truth' of those teachings, once and for All... Mysterious ways, indeed... This grand "Council Meeting," for such it is considered in all official records, occurred during what would be the week of March 28th to April 4th of 1489 BC, according to our present calendar. It is generally conceded to have been on Thursday, April 1...Thor's Day... And, coincidentally, 4/1 is 14, backwards... As far as Rosicrucians and the number 14 go... ...and that, further interestingly, Thursday has "become the usual day for Rosicrucian meetings"... If you can imagine that. No... I'm not the only 'dreamer'. It tells us right there that they had 'great faith in the final success' of those principles... someday... It could even be today. I could imagine that... More great music... Like I said,- 'Signed, Sealed and Delivered'. And this one... Imagine that... all of those 'crazy' people, dancing... Listen carefully to the end of the piece... "...buried in the ground." Indeed. But, maybe it's the time of year, after all, for 'resurrections',- or maybe, as the Maya say... It's just the time of Man... And, hay... thanks, Cheetah 007... "No. Me Tarzan. Jane of Jungle..." Lolol... And, let's do this one again... Hay, ya, Outkast... We got Soul... ...and some 'Love Below'... Hand me my beret, Louis... I feel like dancing... Look out, below... Darned moondancing heathens... lolol... I think it's going to be a beautiful full moon tonight; Warren Zevon may be out. I mention Hatshepsut's Obelisks for a reason; three of them are now known as 'needles',- Cleopatra's Needle, that is - but they do not belong to 'Cleopatra' (although she, too, was a female Pharoah, as was Hatshepsut), and one of those is in New York City... along with the statue of Serapis. Interesting coincidence, don't you think? Cleopatra's Needle is the popular name for each of three Ancient Egyptian obelisks re-erected in London, Paris, and New York City during the nineteenth century. The obelisks in London and New York are a pair, and the one in Paris is also part of a pair originally from a different site in Luxor, where its twin remains. Although all three needles are genuine Ancient Egyptian obelisks, their shared nickname is a misnomer, as they have no connection with Queen Cleopatra VII of Egypt, and were already over a thousand years old in her lifetime. The London and New York "needles" were originally made during the reign of 18th Dynasty Thutmose III. The Paris "needle" dates to the reign of 19th Dynasty Ramesses II and was the first to be moved and re-erected as well as the first to acquire the nickname, "L'aiguille de Cléopâtre" in French.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleopatra's_Needle You see...? A needle in a hay-stack... one in a million... Kind of in-credible, don't you think? But they had 'faith'... in a future, and a hope... And so do I. I understand that the 'harp' (first 'guitar' maybe... a stringed musical instrument, used by Orpheus) was originally strung with human hair, and that the number of strings equaled the number of ribs on one side of the human body... now, that is both interesting and coincidental... quite provocative, as far as thoughts go... Especially in light of this song... George and Ringo... nice. By the rivers of Babylon, There we sat down and wept, When we remembered Zion. Upon the willows in the midst of it We hung our harps... For there our captors demanded of us songs, And our tormentors mirth, saying, "Sing us one of the songs of Zion." How can we sing the LORD'S song In a foreign land?Psalm 137 Last edit time, 12:09... (3,9,- see below) Twelve known Brothers and Sisters were present at this first Supreme Council. The Sisters were: the wife of Thutmose III, known in the Order as 'Mene'; the wife of one of the Brothers; and another, who was a descendant of one of the rulers of a preceding dynasty. Therefore, there were nine Brothers and three Sisters at this Council, a combination of numbers very significant. And, did you know that the name 'Hatshepsut' means "The Foremost of Noble Ladies"? Translated... She served as a Good 'Ruler'... no, really... she, too, was quite a 'builder', I understand... Hatshepsut was given a reign of about 22 years by ancient authors. Josephus and Julius Africanus both quote Manetho's king list, mentioning a woman called Amessis or Amensis who has been identified (from the context) as Hatshepsut. In Josephus her reign is given as 21 years and nine months,[8] while Africanus gives twenty-two years. At this point in the histories, records of the reign of Hatshepsut end, since the first major foreign campaign of Thutmose III was dated to his 22nd year, which also would have been Hatshepsut's 22nd year as pharaoh...
The earliest attestation of Hatshepsut as pharaoh occurs in the tomb of Ramose and Hatnofer where a collection of grave goods contained a single pottery jar or amphora from the tomb's chamber—which was stamped with the date Year 7. Another jar from the same tomb—which was discovered in situ by a 1935–36 Metropolitan Museum of Art expedition on a hillside near Thebes—was stamped with the seal of the "God's Wife Hatshepsut" while two jars bore the seal of The Good Goddess Maatkare. The dating of the amphorae, "sealed into the [tomb's] burial chamber by the debris from Senenmut's own tomb," is undisputed which means that Hatshepsut was acknowledged as king, and not queen, of Egypt by Year 7 of her reign...
Hatshepsut was one of the most prolific builders in ancient Egypt, commissioning hundreds of construction projects throughout both Upper Egypt and Lower Egypt. Arguably, her buildings were grander and more numerous than those of any of her Middle Kingdom predecessors'. Later pharaohs attempted to claim some of her projects as theirs. She employed the great architect Ineni, who also had worked for her father, her husband, and for the royal steward Senemut. During her reign, so much statuary was produced that almost every major museum in the world has Hatshepsut statuary among their collections; for instance, the Hatshepsut Room in New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art is dedicated solely to some of these pieces.
Following the tradition of most pharaohs, Hatshepsut had monuments constructed at the Temple of Karnak. She also restored the original Precinct of Mut, the ancient great goddess of Egypt, at Karnak that had been ravaged by the foreign rulers during the Hyksos occupation. It later was ravaged by other pharaohs, who took one part after another to use in their pet projects and awaits restoration. She had twin obelisks, at the time the tallest in the world, erected at the entrance to the temple. One still stands, as the tallest surviving ancient obelisk on Earth; the other has broken in two and toppled.
Another project, Karnak's Red Chapel, or Chapelle Rouge, was intended as a barque shrine and originally, may have stood between her two obelisks. It was lined with carved stones that depicted significant events in Hatshepsut's life.
She later ordered the construction of two more obelisks to celebrate her 16th year as pharaoh; one of the obelisks broke during construction, and thus, a third was constructed to replace it. The broken obelisk was left at its quarrying site in Aswan, where it still remains. Known as The Unfinished Obelisk, it demonstrates how obelisks were quarried.
The Temple of Pakhet was built by Hatshepsut at Beni Hasan in the Minya Governorate south of Al Minya. The name, Pakhet, was a synthesis that occurred by combining Bast and Sekhmet, who were similar lioness war goddesses, in an area that bordered the north and south division of their cults. The cavernous underground temple, cut into the rock cliffs on the eastern side of the Nile, was admired and called the Speos Artemidos by the Greeks during their occupation of Egypt, known as the Ptolemaic Dynasty. They saw the goddess as a parallel to their hunter goddess Artemis. The temple is thought to have been built alongside much more ancient ones that have not survived. This temple has an architrave with a long dedicatory text bearing Hatshepsut's famous denunciation of the Hyksos that has been translated by James P. Allen.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HatshepsutThe Upper and Lower Kingdoms... and the two columns, which the double obelisks 'echo',- these also have parallels... They wait to be joined... with a 'Royal Arch', I believe... The underlined portion of the quote given above is fairly significant in a couple of ways, at least,- the lioness war goddess, which is portrayed in the carvings at the Tobiad family mausoleum, and which is 'echoed' here in Egypt, by Hatshepsut; and there is the further association by the Greeks with the 'hunter goddess Artemis', since the Temple of Diana (the same hunter goddess of the Romans) is one of the other 'Wonders' of the ancient world... Coincidentally, in the movie "Kill Bill, Part II", in the final scene, the 'legend' reads... "The lioness rejoins her cub..." I can't help wondering at the 'symbolism',- not, indeed, that it means anything, of course... Chariots... And coins... The Temple of Artemis or Artemision (Greek: Ἀρτεμίσιον, Turkish: Artemis Tapınağı), also known less precisely as the Temple of Diana, was a Greek temple dedicated to the goddess Artemis. It was located in Ephesus (near the modern town of Selçuk in present-day Turkey). One of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it was completely rebuilt three times before its eventual destruction in 401 AD.[1] Only foundations and sculptural fragments of the latest of the temples at the site remain.Remember that in the book of the 'Revelations', Ephesus is one of the 'churches', or 'sites of Initiation' of the Mysteries that are referred to in the 'messages' given... Here, shown with a 'stag', or 'roe'... Well, now, that's 'funny'... or at least 'curious'... To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the Tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God...That, and some 'hidden manna',- which, by all rights, should be 'hidden' in the 'Ark', along with the 'tables of the Law', according to the traditional stories, at least. These items, along with the 'budding rod' of Aaron, are said to be the 'contents' of the equally 'mysterious' Golden Ark of Moses. The exact nature of the Ark, and its location, continue to be the subject of much conjecture, and it is also rumored that the Ark will be returned (or 'found') at some point in the future. The possession of the actual Ark, itself, seemed to be rather 'unfortunate' for those who presumed to take it for themselves,- the Philistines, for instance, suffered greatly for seven years, before it was decided that they would be better off to just return it... which they did. It seems odd that an item of such 'great significance' should bring such great 'misfortune' to the possessors,- surely, there must have been something about the contents that was most 'unfortunate' in nature... and I think that I know what it was. The premise of mine would allow for this, and explain a lot, truthfully. Moses had taken possession of the 'Emerald Tablets of Hermes'... the 'law'... before leaving Egypt, and bringing them down from Mt. Sinai, in sight of the people, he was going to establish 'the law', with himself as its interpreter. He found the people, adoring the 'golden calf' of the prophecies, which was not part of his 'interpretation', and so, in his anger, he broke the emerald tablets, thereby 'destroying' the 'old law' before their eyes. He now had to come back to the people with a new set of 'tablets', and a new 'Law'. This he did, although the second set of tablets that Moses descended the mountain with were now merely stone, and much smaller... and these held only 10 short laws, to be known as the Decalogue. The fragments of those original emerald tablets were preserved, I believe... perhaps out of fear, or at least, respect for what they represented. I believe that it is/was those fragments of 'stone' that are contained within the Ark... and why it is said that 'God' speaks from the Ark. 'Echoes', maybe... Does this 'thesis' seem incredible? Not so much, under the circumstances... I mean, haven't we all wondered 'why' he chose to 'destroy' this most wonderful set of tables, the first of which was said to have been written by the finger of 'God' himself... much like the Emerald Tables of Hermes. And, the 'history' (what there is left of it) seems to support this idea: The Tables of the Law as they are widely known in English, or Tablets of Stone, Stone Tablets, or Tablets of Testimony (in Hebrew: לוחות הברית Luchot HaBrit - "the tablets [of] the covenant") in the Hebrew Bible, were the two pieces of stone inscribed with the Ten Commandments when Moses ascended Mount Sinai as recorded in the Book of Exodus. Exodus 31:18 refers to the tablets as the "Tablets of (the) Testimony". According to the Bible, there were two sets. The first, inscribed by God, were smashed by Moses when he was enraged by the sight of the Children of Israel worshipping a Golden Calf; and the second, later cut by Moses and rewritten by God.. According to traditional teachings of Judaism in the Talmud, they were made of blue sapphire stone as a symbolic reminder of the sky, the heavens, and ultimately of God's throne. Many Torah scholars, however, have opined that the Biblical "sapir" was, in fact, the lapis lazuli ... Rabbinic tradition teaches that the tablets were squared, according to some authorities, the Rabbis themselves approved of rounded depictions of the tablets in replicas so that the replicas would not exactly match the historical tablets. The length and width of each of the Tablets was six Tefachim, and each was three Tefachim thick - respectively roughly 20 and ten inches, though they tend to be shown larger in art. Also according to tradition, the words were not engraved on the surface, but rather were bored fully through the stone. The clearest depiction of the stones is given in the Talmudic Midrashic sources as "clear", "flexible" and "transparent". In Jewish religious tradition, the arrangement of the commandments on the two tablets is interpreted in different ways. Rabbi Hanina ben Gamaliel said that each tablet contained five commandments, "but the Sages say ten on one tablet and ten on the other". Because the commandments establish a covenant, it is likely that they were duplicated on both tablets. This can be compared to diplomatic treaties of Ancient Egypt, in which a copy was made for each party...
[/i] en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablets_of_StoneYou see right there that the 'true' shape of the tablets is not said to be 'rounded', but the 'sages approve' of this slight 'misrepresentation', in order that certain 'truths' remain... veiled, as it were. And so, I believe, with the 'material' or 'stone' that the tablets were made of,- not 'sapphire', but perhaps 'lapis',- which symbolizes Egyptian royalty, and might make a fair symbolic substitute for the 'Emerald' of Hermes. They were, however, said to be 'clear', 'flexible', and 'transparent', which makes an odd 'stone', indeed... And I should point out that a covenant is... a contract. Simply put. And, simply put... just who is it that men are said to sign a 'nefarious contract' with, in order to profit, or prosper, here, at the ultimate price of their 'soul'? I know... That's just in-credible. So, let's get some credibility back with some 'real' history... This, believe it or not, is a statue of Hatshepsut's 'architect', Senenmut, seated with the daughter of the King/Queen, Neferure, on his lap,- in this representation of himself, he is given the title of 'tutor'... 'teacher'... of the 'potential' girl/king. This is shown by the beard that is given to the very young girl... it is part of the 'regalia' and the mythology of the 'prophecy'. And again here, on top of a 'square'... that has been 'inscribed'... And, in light of his 'relationship' to these royal women, in particular, it would seem that he was most likely a 'Master' in his own right of this most Arcane Knowledge of Hermes... and 'Hari-Api'... Soroapis. There is also circumstantial evidence from statuary (such as the image of Senenmut and Neferure in which the princess appears to be emerging from his body), from graffiti (the depiction of an unnamed pharaoh and a common person in an erotic pose which is often though to represent Queen Hatshepsut and Senenmut), from his own inscriptions (while it was common for an official to describe themselves as "beloved of their lord" he also makes statements such as "I entered into the mysteries of the lady of the two lands")...www.ancientegyptonline.co.uk/Senenmut.htmlAll symbolic of the 'truths' of the very Great 'Mystery' of the Future... as well as the Past. The 'star map' of Senenmut the Great... he must have been a Great Teacher... For a little girl...

Personally speaking, I can't help 'reflecting' on the thought of the 'original law' as being described as 'clear', 'flexible', and 'transparent'. What better description of a 'universal law' could there be, really...? As opposed to a 'contract set in stone', that is... Which is, after all, what we ended up with. Now, I can only imagine that being told that Moses represents your 'Devil', or 'adversary' (makes sense now, don't you think, is tantamount to Luke Skywalker being told that Darth Vader is his father... a lot like that. But, as you know, Darth Vader didn't start out to be 'evil'... he perceived that he took the 'power/force' in order to save someone else, as did Moses, most likely, but... there is a 'price' to be 'paid' for accessing, and using, that 'side' of 'God', which might best be assessed by the 'fruits' thereof. When the 'Synagogue of Satan' was referred to later, it was not addressed to a few random Pharisees... the phrase took in the entire 'religion' founded on this 'adversary' of the 'Light'... and the Light was confined to its 'stone coffin', as a new kind of 'beast' rose... from the Red Sea. And that should all send you straight to the 13th chapter of the book of the Revelation... If any man have an ear, let him hear. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast...Interesting, don't you think...? If you think of that 'Dark Side' as a beast,- and, the 'dragon' represents those primal or 'elemental' 'forces' or 'powers' which can work for either good or ill, depending upon their 'direction'. Water, air, earth, and sky... Symbolism... every picture tells a story, after all. And the more that you understand the symbolism, the more interesting the story gets... So... from the historical and mythological evidence so far, I think we can see that things may not be exactly what they seem to be,- which is, after all, the 'nature' of 'magic', isn't it? Generally speaking, it consists of a clever 'misdirection' of the audience... And this was, I believe the beginning of what is known as the subsequent "agreement with hell and death". Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: 11 for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear. 13 But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. 14 Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem. 15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: 16 therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. 17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. 18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. 19 From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report. 20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it. 21 For the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act...The Book of Isaiah, chapter 28 Now, I believe that the 'scourge' that is referred to here is the same instrument that is shown in the hands of Pharoah,- a 'flail' or 'scourge'... which idea is strengthened by the 'commentary' below, and the reference to 'obliterating the letters on a waxen tablet (temporary, evidently) seem more than 'mildly provocative', under the circumstances: disannulled—obliterated, as letters traced on a waxen tablet are obliterated by passing the stylus over it.
trodden down—passing from the metaphor in "scourge" to the thing meant, the army which treads down its enemies. (Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary)

And the moral of the story that I just related to you in the post above goes something like this: "We may not be able to set fire to your bed, but we surely to hell can 'short-sheet' you..." Lololololol... Good morning, friends. I woke up to 'Paradise City', and then I got my favorite 'Unchained Melody', so... I figured it must be Time... to get up. It is Tuesday, after all, and this is my 'last call' for a few days. Hit it, Billy.. I'd like to begin my notes this morning with a bit more 'commentary' on some of the text that I've quoted; these words are already familiar to most of you,- you've either read them yourself, or you've at least heard somebody else read them by now,- but, it's not enough to just read/hear it... if you don't understand the words, they remain 'meaningless' to you. For instance, the passage in the 13th chapter of the 'Revelation' that refers to the 'Beast', refers to the Greek word 'Kosmos', which is defined this way: 'Kosmos in the sense of the present world-system, the ethically bad sense of the words, refers to the "order", "arrangement", under which Satan has has organized the world of unbelieving mankind upon his cosmic principles of force, greed, selfishness, ambition, and pleasure. This world-system is imposing and powerful, with armies and fleets; is often outwardly religious, scientific, cultured, and elegant, but, seething with national and commercial rivalries and ambitions, is upheld in any real crisis only by armed force, and is dominated by Satanic principles.-from Scofield's commentary And so,we find that in this world-system, 'Kosmos', and therefore 'cosmic forces' are involved... and they were put 'in order' by someone that understood them... very well. The term 'outwardly religious' makes itself obvious here, as well; the interesting thing about this particular 'commentary' is that Scofield, while he was a great scholar, was also decidedly approaching the material from a Judaeo-Christian angle, and even so... the parallels seem rather apparent. The word "arrangement" can also, by the way, pertain to a 'covenental-type' situation... an arrangement, by mutual agreement. You 'agree to agree'... mostly... And mostly without reading the 'fine print', between the lines... And what did they tell you about that? You'll miss the 'sanity clause'... "You shouldn't have missed the first 'party' ('party of the first part')... I was blind for three days." This looks like a Great 'Contract'. 'Sign' me up... Lololol... But Siriusly... "black night" it says... And, you know what I say... Let there be Light... "Know your 'enemy'. Face your 'enemy'. Face your fear..." Mortal Kombat... Lololol... "Bow to her..." Oh, wait... you, Tarzan. Monkey-man. Me, Jane of Jungle. I'm just 'lost'... And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: and she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.Revelation 12 I'll be seeing you again, soon...

So, hello, again... before I go on with 'deeper' things, I'd like to make an observation on another television commercial that I saw recently; it was in regard to cats, and smoking, and a possible 'Cat-mageddon'. I was watching with a friend of mine, that happens to be a cat, and we saw the funny videos, and heard the message, and wondered how people can be so... self-serving? The gist of the message was that cats that live with smokers are more likely to develop cancer(s), and that if you smoke, you will be the cause of an awful 'cat-mageddon', in which the poor cats will suffer terrible losses, evidently,- to the point that we can no longer make funny cat videos for the Youtube. The cat (I don't 'own' it, we're just friends) would like to respond to your notions of 'Cat-mageddon', and let you know that it has been on-going, of course... it's nothing new. If you don't believe her, you should visit the humane society or animal shelter, and ask any one of those cats whether or not they would prefer to live with a smoker. She says that they would all give their right claws to take a chance at a life with a smoker, in which they might, possibly, someday develop 'a cancer' than to face the certain death of your 'kindlier' form of euthanasia, which will happen to thousands of equally cute and charming cats today... and tomorrow... and the next day. The cat thinks that people need to get their priorities straight. I think the cat is right. After all, she has four colors in her coat, and the Egyptians believed that cats with three or more colors were especially... powerful, I suppose. For what that's worth... The thing is that, as far as 'cancers' go, I heard that there are recent statistics that show that of all of the deaths from lung cancer, only half are related to smoking. What about the other half? What happened there? And of the remaining half of the cases in which a 'smoker' was affected, would they have gotten the cancer anyway, since half of the deaths happened to non-smokers? It's a good question... I think it has to do with the air, generally. There are more asthmas, and chronic breathing problems now than I ever knew of when I was a kid. More of all kinds of things. Anyway, I figure that if the odds are even, what's the difference, really? I'm not sure that's really even an 'issue' (or wouldn't be, if it weren't for the chemicals)... but it makes a convenient scapegoat. Anyway... I have something that I would like to bring to your attention this evening, in regard to the 'origin' of the Mysteries,- in order to find the True Root of things, since the 'end' is said to be found in 'the beginning', and there are many 'beginnings' that we can refer to; again, many 'levels' of correspondence for these Truths, and while some of the things that I say may seem... difficult... to think about, they are still consistent with the 'evidence', and the written testimony that is available on the subject. Since that is true, I can begin to better understand things as they are... and as they may yet be. Understanding 'prophecy', and history, doesn't require you to be so much 'psychic', as it does that you be 'insightful', I think... and the 'clues' were left for a reason... a purpose. They are meaningful. And part of being 'insightful' is 'noticing things', like 'timing'... especially in light of the statement that 'there is no such thing as coincidence'. And that is mostly true. Especially in the case of these 'mysteries' that we are seeking to understand... and the time of the 'beginning' of the 'teachings' that were passed in guarded secrecy only to the highest of the 'Initiates',- the 'Illuminated', of all cultures, but especially the Greeks, to whom it said that the teachings passed, from Egypt, and this seems to be the case, as they are given in the Mystery Rites of Eleusis. This most wonderful, and revealing quote, from Manly P Hall's "Secret Teaching of All Ages" gives us a most interesting element of the 'timing' of these most auspicious, and occulted, teachings: THE most famous of the ancient religious Mysteries were the Eleusinian, whose rites were celebrated every five years in the city of Eleusis to honor Ceres (Demeter, Rhea, or Isis) and her daughter, Persephone. The initiates of the Eleusinian School were famous throughout Greece for the beauty of their philosophic concepts and the high standards of morality which they demonstrated in their daily lives. Because of their excellence, these Mysteries spread to Rome and Britain, and later the initiations were given in both these countries. The Eleusinian Mysteries, named for the community in Attica where the sacred dramas were first presented, are generally believed to have been founded by Eumolpos about fourteen hundred years before the birth of Christ, and through the Platonic system of philosophy their principles have been preserved to modern times.
The rites of Eleusis, with their Mystic interpretations of Nature's most precious secrets, overshadowed the civilizations of their time and gradually absorbed many smaller schools, incorporating into their own system whatever valuable information these lesser institutions possessed. Heckethorn sees in the Mysteries of Ceres and Bacchus a metamorphosis of the rites of Isis and Osiris, and there is every reason to believe that all so-called secret schools of the ancient world were branches from one philosophic tree which, with its root in heaven and its branches on the earth, is--like the spirit of man--an invisible but ever-present cause of the objectified vehicles that give it expression. The Mysteries were the channels through which this one philosophic light was disseminated, and their initiates, resplendent with intellectual and spiritual understanding, were the perfect fruitage of the divine tree, bearing witness before the material world of the recondite source of all Light and Truth.Well... now, that is interesting. Under the circumstances... With thanks to the Youtube poster 'Runon Fragment'... and, I have no idea what that means, I just thought it was interesting... I can dig it, you crazy cats... The thing that happened, was not going to be forgotten... and the Truth, which would eventually 're-surface', would bring a 'remedy' with it, and that's the 'Good News', don't you think, dudes? The most important thing to remember about these 'Mysteries', and the 'initiation' that was involved in understanding them, is that it was always undertaken alone... always alone. There is no other way... And they happened in the caves, the tunnels... the 'labyrinth' that lay in the darkness... no party. No disco. That part is easy to forget. Now, how about that 'Death Cab for Kitty'...? Hail, Saint Jimmy and the 'Happy Car of Death'... Now, do you know why cats have 'nine lives'? You should... there are nine levels, or 'spheres', which have to be passed... the 'cat' is said to be able to pass from one level to the next,- or... it has 'nine lives', in other words. The 'cat' in this case is a jaguar, as shown by the various priests in their symbolism; this same 'jaguar' is shown in the iconography of the Tobiad family castle, and I find it equally significant that this same 'jaguar' symbolism is shared between the Hebrews and the Mayans. But... if it were branches of the same 'Divine Tree', it would make sense. I believe that it is. I believe that the Mayan people 'emerged' on that continent, from below... nobody really knows who their 'forbears' were, I don't think; and that certain ones of them, and other tribes, went back into the tunnels, to disappear from 'history', and attempt to return to their true place of 'origin'. The same thing that happened with the mysterious 'Anasazi' people of the Southwest... But, many of these places are obviously on other 'levels', and known to exist by only a few. As was the case with the strange 'mer-creatures', and yet... they are there. They are 'just hidden'. For now, at least. That is contrary to the nature of a 'revelation', after all... The Greeks believed that Persephone was a manifestation of the solar energy, which in the winter months lived under the earth with Pluto, but in the summer returned again with the goddess of productiveness. There is a legend that the flowers loved Persephone and that every year when she left for the dark realms of Pluto, the plants and shrubs would die of grief. While the profane and uninitiated had their own opinions on these subjects, the truths of the Greek allegories remained safely concealed by the priests, who alone recognized the sublimity of these great philosophic and religious parables.
Thomas Taylor epitomizes the doctrines of the Greater Mysteries in the following statement: "The Greater (Mysteries) obscurely intimated, by mystic and splendid visions, the felicity of the soul both here and hereafter when purified from the defilement of a material nature, and constantly elevated to the realities of intellectual (spiritual) vision."
...the Greater Mysteries discussed the principles of spiritual regeneration and revealed to initiates not only the simplest but also the most direct and complete method of liberating their higher natures from the bondage of material ignorance. Like Prometheus chained to the top of Mount Caucasus, man's higher nature is chained to his inadequate personality. The nine days of initiation were also symbolic of the nine spheres through which the human soul descends during the process of assuming a terrestrial form. The secret exercises for spiritual unfoldment given to disciples of the higher degrees are unknown, but there is every reason to believe that they were similar to the Brahmanic Mysteries, since it is known that the Eleusinian ceremonies were closed with the Sanskrit words "Konx Om Pax."At any rate, there is a 'descent involved'... and a subsequent 'return'. And, under the circumstances, I can't help finding all of that to be... at least mildly provocative. But, I have more...

So, in an effort to be 'timely', I will add just a little bit 'more' to my notes so far, and put down a 'tidabit' (lol) in regard to the Mysteries of Eleusis, regarding Persephone, and a possible connection to our later history of this 'root' and 'branch'. This will be 'fun' for any of the 'Harry Potter' fans out there, since we are going to point out specifically the presence of Cerberus,- the three-headed dog that guards the 'gates of Hell'. This creature of symbolism appears in many of the myths/histories regarding 'hell', and the 'three heads' or 'trinity', if you will, seems significant. This strange 'trinity' guards the 'gates of hell', in order that nobody leaves... since there are, obviously, going to be 'in-coming', according to the tellers of the story. Cerberus, then, either directly or indirectly, serves to block this 'daughter' from leaving the 'underground confines' of 'Hell', to where she has been suddenly 'taken'. Now, how does this particular symbolism 'connect' to the later Hebrew prophecies in regard to the figure of David, specifically, who is, after all, the 'figurehead' of this 'root' and 'branch', as reflected in the content of the Psalms. This one, for instance... Psalm 22:20 Deliver, O God, my soul from the sword: my only one from the hand of the dog.
Deliver my soul from the sword; my only one from the power of the dog...
Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog...It says, 'My darling... my only one...' from the 'power of the dog'. Well, Glorioski... that sounds an awful lot like 'Persephone' and 'Cerberus', to me. And, in regard to that 'Divine Tree' that was mentioned in the post above, there is more 'Good News' from my friend, Mr. Hofstadter... "The tree of G is recursive to the original at any point along the path..." Now, I know that he wrote specifically in regard to the subject of 'computer minds' and 'artificial intelligence', but, if it is as I further surmised, that the 'computer mind' is only an attempt to 'back-engineer' the 'mind of God', so to speak, then... the same principles would apply. I would just think... It is, most likely, just as Pacal Votan remarked, when he said that "All is number; God is number; God is All." And so... we 'play' the 'numbers'...

So far, so Good, I think... I'm sorry, 'Andy',- I meant to get up and dance to that Prince tune... I don't know what's wrong with me. 'Wow' is right. Anyway, I think I'm ready to add some field notes to the journal again today. I think that I would like to finish up with some more history, before going on with our 15th card, since it will all go to 'identification' of our 'villain' in this story, and what needs to be done about 'repairing' this 'breach', since that is exactly what appears to have happened. Just about a time, and times, and half-a-time ago... Did you know that the prophet Daniel was described by Scofield as being "... like Ezekiel, a Jewish captive in Babylon. He was of royal or princely descent. For his rank and comeliness he was trained for palace service. In the polluted atmosphere of an oriental court, he lived a life of singular piety and usefulness." Now, that is interesting, since my next question would be, "of which 'House' is he a royal, or 'princely' member? And then I remember that with Korah went 200-(ish) 'princes of the people' that were in Egypt. Which is odd, if they were all 'slaves', don't you think? I don't think they were 'slaves' at all... and I think that Daniel, or Belteshazzar, was descended from some of those highly placed members of the Egyptian royal family, just as Moses and Korah were, also, that left with their 'people' in what became known as the 'Exodus'. And I think that the man known as Senenmut, the 'architect' and 'great teacher' of Hatshepsut and Neferture, was perhaps not Moses, but Korah... Korah, the 'alchemist', that held the 'old knowledge' of the original 'masons', or 'builders'... that had studied Tora(h) for 40 years, it is said... Korah, that understood the prophecies of the 'Mystery', and that undertook to bring them to pass, in full faith, and knowledge, of a future... and a hope. It is possible that Hatshepsut herself went with Korah, and Moses, along with the daughter. If so, they were among those lost in the 'abyss', and so, had made that terrible 'descent into hell'... and, if so, there was also expected to be a subsequent 'return'... And this is what the Easter holiday in the spring is all about... A descent, and a 'rising' again... Much like the Sun... the 'winged Sun' of the Egyptians, let's say... Or a 'feathered serpent', even... If you can imagine such a thing... Evidently they could. And did you know that the 'original' story of a 'descent into hell' involved a woman, and not a man at all? Her name was Inanna... she also returned. Not everyone was excited... And this seems to be a strange 'echo' of our 'Strength' card... Fortitude... she is accompanied by a lion... And, you see, I believe that it was after this particular 'breach' occurred, that Thutmose III began the seemingly half-hearted removal of Hatshepsut's pulic memorials... and the motive did not seem to involve any personal anger, or spite. So... why? Toward the end of the reign of Thutmose III and into the reign of his son, an attempt was made to remove Hatshepsut from certain historical and pharaonic records. This elimination was carried out in the most literal way possible. Her cartouches and images were chiselled off some stone walls, leaving very obvious Hatshepsut-shaped gaps in the artwork.
At the Deir el-Bahari temple, Hatshepsut's numerous statues were torn down and in many cases, smashed or disfigured before being buried in a pit. At Karnak, there even was an attempt to wall up her obelisks. While it is clear that much of this rewriting of Hatshepsut's history occurred only during the close of Thutmose III's reign, it is not clear why it happened, other than the typical pattern of self-promotion that existed among the pharaohs and their administrators, or perhaps saving money by not building new monuments for the burial of Thutmose III and instead, using the grand structures built by Hatshepsut.
Amenhotep II, the son of Thutmose III, who became a co-regent toward the end of his father's reign, is suspected by some as being the defacer during the end of the reign of a very old pharaoh. He would have had a motive because his position in the royal lineage was not so strong as to assure his elevation to pharaoh. He is documented, further, as having usurped many of Hatshepsut's accomplishments during his own reign. His reign is marked with attempts to break the royal lineage as well, not recording the names of his queens and eliminating the powerful titles and official roles of royal women, such as God's Wife of Amun.
For many years, presuming that it was Thutmose III acting out of resentment once he became pharaoh, early modern Egyptologists presumed that the erasures were similar to the Roman damnatio memoriae. This appeared to make sense when thinking that Thutmose might have been an unwilling co-regent for years. This assessment of the situation probably is too simplistic, however. It is highly unlikely that the determined and focused Thutmose—not only Egypt's most successful general, but an acclaimed athlete, author, historian, botanist, and architect—would have brooded for two decades of his own reign before attempting to avenge himself on his stepmother and aunt. According to renowned Egyptologist Donald Redford:
"Here and there, in the dark recesses of a shrine or tomb where no plebeian eye could see, the queen's cartouche and figure were left intact ... which never vulgar eye would again behold, still conveyed for the king the warmth and awe of a divine presence."
The erasures were sporadic and haphazard, with only the more visible and accessible images of Hatshepsut being removed; had it been more complete, we would not now have so many images of Hatshepsut. Thutmose III may have died before these changes were finished and it may be that he never intended a total obliteration of her memory. In fact, we have no evidence to support the assumption that Thutmose hated or resented Hatshepsut during her lifetime. Had that been true, as head of the army, in a position given to him by Hatshepsut (who was clearly not worried about her co-regent's loyalty), he surely could have led a successful coup, but he made no attempt to challenge her authority during her reign and, her accomplishments and images remained featured on all of the public buildings she built for twenty years after her death.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HatshepsutThere must have been a reason... And I don't think they have ever positvely iidentified a 'tomb' for Hatshepsut, in spite of the presence of the Great Mortuary temple, that was built in her honor... no mummy... no sarcophogus, as would befit a Great Pharoah. But many memorials... This world is full of Magic(k)... I believe that. And you should also believe that there are many ways to use it. Mostly, it is with 'good intentions', I think... but not always. And, just as they always said, "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." Ask Darth Vader... Ooooh... this is a 'good' one,- I remember this one. Check out the album cover... do you see the woman behind the lion? Another 'echo', if you ask me... Or maybe I'm just crazy... cat... There's always that...In boots... lolol...

And that brings us to this one, I think... and another story. About Loki, and his 'brother'... Balder the Beautiful. That story represents the 'Odinic Mysteries', and tells again a familiar 'journey'... Balder the Beautiful--the Scandinavian Christ--was the beloved son of Odin. Balder was not warlike; his kindly and beautiful spirit brought peace and joy to the hearts of the gods, and they all loved him save one. As Jesus had a Judas among His twelve disciples, so one of the twelve gods was false--Loki, the personification of evil. Loki caused Höthr, the blind god of fate, to shoot Balder with a mistletoe arrow. With the death of Balder, light and joy vanished from the lives of the other deities. Heartbroken, the gods gathered to find a method whereby they could resurrect this spirit of eternal life and youth. The result was the establishment of the Mysteries.
The Odinic Mysteries were given in underground crypts or caves, the chambers, nine in number, representing the Nine Worlds of the Mysteries. The candidate seeking admission was assigned the task of raising Balder from the dead. Although he did not realize it, he himself played the part of Balder. He called himself a wanderer; the caverns through which he passed were symbolic of the worlds and spheres of Nature. The priests who initiated him were emblematic of the sun, the moon, and the stars. The three supreme initiators--the Sublime, the Equal to the Sublime, and the Highest--were analogous to the Worshipful Master and the junior and Senior Wardens of a Masonic lodge.
After wandering for hours through the intricate passageways, the candidate was ushered into the presence of a statue of Balder the Beautiful, the prototype of all initiates into the Mysteries. This figure stood in the center of a great apartment roofed with shields. In the midst of the chamber stood a plant with seven blossoms, emblematic of the planets. In this room, which symbolized the house of the Æsir, or Wisdom, the neophyte took his oath of secrecy and piety upon the naked blade of a sword. He drank the sanctified mead from a bowl made of a human skull and, having passed successfully through all the tortures and trials designed to divert him from the course of wisdom, he was finally permitted to unveil the mystery of Odin--the personification of wisdom. He was presented, in the name of Balder, with the sacred ring of the order; he was hailed as a man reborn; and it was said of him that he had died and had been raised again without passing through the gates of death. And the allusion to having been killed with an arrow of 'mistletoe' is most interesting, since that evokes another set of 'mysteries', that seem to have developed its own 'branches'... and it would seem that this was also known. But before we get to that, I'd like to finish my 'background notes' in regard to the development of the Egyptian 'school', in particular, since that seems to be central to the 'mystery', itself. Taking up with Spencer Lewis's account, then: No worldly name was decided upon for the brotherhood, the records showing that the predominating thought was the maintenance of secrecy. The organization had no publicity; it required no propaganda other than personal advice to those whose presence was desired, and as the one word, translated into 'Brotherhood' (a secret, fraternal body), was sufficient name for all purposes, we do not find any other term. This accounts for the widespread diversity of the name as adopted later. In so many of the documents issued by the Supreme Grand Magi to the Grand Lodges throughout the world, the name of the Order is seldom mentioned. The writer has noticed this especially in such documents are given to a newly established Grand Lodge and which are translations of ancient documents. In these, the element, the idea, of secrecy is so strong and predominant that the Order is referred to indirectly and sometimes erroneously (or perhaps diplomatically) as 'it', the 'school', the 'brotherhood', or the 'council'. Furthermore many of these documents begin with the announcement: "I, Brother of the Illuminati, with power decreed, do declare this Manifesto," or with the salutation: "I, F. Illuminati of the 12." (I, Frater Illuminati of the 12th degree.) Very often these official manifestoes are signed: "With Peace Profound: and sometimes "F, Profundis" or "F,12".
These words not only show that the twelfth or last degree has been the last circle within the Order, and known as the 'Illuminati', even to this day, but they also explain why some references are made to these documents as "Instructions of the Illuminati", which may easily be misinterpreted as "Instructions to the Illuminati" as one sees them in works referred to in the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries AD, where the Order Rosae Crucis is designated solely by the term "Illuminati".Now, Lewis mentions a 'degree' (of 12th) in regard to this 'circle', but I see that there are also 12 members of the 'council',- 9 men, and 3 women, as he just told us,- so that 'F,12' might equally mean 'Brother, the 12th member', don't you think? That would serve to identify the source of the document to only the others, and so, there could be a member known as 'S,7' or 'S,9',- "S" being Soror... sister. Or, hay... maybe even... "D,12"... or "G,6"... or "Soror-apis"... Which might help to explain the "Mona Lisa"... Lololol... At any rate, subsequent use of the term "Illuminati" seems to have referred to the members of this 'Brotherhood of the Rose and Cross', so that the term seems to have suffered some 'abuse' at the hands of history, at least... And, I don't mean to 'over-analyze' things, but the number 12 seems to 'stand out' in regard to its connection with other 'councils'... most 'famously', that of King Arthur's Round Table; the 12 gods in Asgard; and the 12 disciples of Jesus (of which, one might actually have been a woman), all of which are interconnected with the 'higher symbolism' of the 12 'houses' of the 'Zodiac', and the role that it plays in the 'determination of events'... Ooooh... the "Mongoose Channel"... lololol... And, yes, 'Andy'... it looks like we do got salsa, after all... And about the Oscars, and the number 12, coincidentally... I see that Chris Rock is going to make it,- in black sneakers, no less. I couldn't help smiling... especially since Chris Rock represented the '13th apostle' in a movie by Kevin Smith, titled "Dogma", that I really enjoyed. He was, needless to say, somewhat a 'black sheep', as an apostle... and the whole thing was... Very interesting. Especially in light of the fact that a "13th" place in the Zodiacal 'wheel' has recently been 'assigned'... At Arthur's 'table' it would be known as the "Perilous Seat", I think... for the 'contender'... And what am I supposed to say to the Youtube poster known as "billiejeanDoggonelover"? Thanks... I'm sure... Now, let's return just briefly to Thutmose III, and the 'stamp' that he left on... the future... At the close of his reign in 1447 there were thirty-nine Brothers and Sisters in the Council, and the meetings, which had become regular and systematic, were held in the Hall of the Temple at Karnak, outside of which Thutmose III erected two obelisks bearing a record of his achievements.
Thutmose signed most of the decrees of the Council with his own 'cartouche' and it became the Seal of the Order "in testimony of the great work of our teacher (Master) to be forever a mark of honor and loyalty." As was customary with these rulers when any event of national importance occurred, Thutmose issued a scarb bearing his cartouche on one side, plus a mark which has a special meaning to all mystics. One original scarab, which was used for hundreds of years in Egypt, by various officials to impress the Seal of the mystic fraternity in wax on all official documents, was given to the Grand Lodge of America with other jewels and papers of an official nature, and it is considered one of the rarest antiquities of Egypt now in this country. The Order here is to be congratulated on having in its possession one of the oldest, if not most sacred, of all mystic jewels, one which has never been used by other than the Masters in Egypt; for it means virtually the passing of the Master's Spirit from Egypt to America, as was planned by the founders centuries ago.
...In this connection it may be explained that the Obelisk in Central Park,- one of two erected in Egypt by Thutmose III and intended to stand some day "in the country where the Eagle spreads its wings",- bears this 'cartouche' or 'seal'...Here, the Rosicrucians tell us that the obelisks were erected by Thutmose III, but we just saw that the four larger obelisks belonged to Hatshepsut, and the two smaller obelisks were Thutmose's... the obelisk in Central Park, known as "Cleopatra's Needle" is actually Hapshetsut's. And this has everything to do with the statue in the harbor, as well... as well as the 'eagle'... It's kind of funny, don't you think, how things just "come together" sometimes? Like a... light went on... And things continued to develop, among men, and time passed... as was the 'torch' of the 'Mysteries', in those dark caverns under the earth, where most men feared to walk, and in which there was a very real possibility of becoming lost, forever. Someone has to find their way out... a 'contender', let's say... With 'Mercury' serving as a 'messenger', ...would be Good...

Let's move ahead, then, for just a moment, to another meeting, held somewhat later in time... 1203 BC... In 1203, several of the Brother of the Order who were of the 'Illuminati' were commissioned to go into other lands and spread the secret doctrines by the establishment of other Lodges. It was quite apparent that Egypt was to be subjected to a devastation and that its great learning might be lost. Confidence seems to have been the keynote, however, for one may read a long argument, reminding one of a speech in Congress, delivered by one of the Brothers at a Council held at El Amarna on June 8, 1202 BC, in which he reassures all present that the "stars shew naught but trial, and test, by air, fire, and water, which we held to be the elements of the crucible from which the precious stone will bring forth its own." And again: "who among us will rise and predict defeat for that which our Masters labored over 29 cycles (200 years)? Is not this TRUTH? Are we not assembled in Truth? Are we not living Truth? And, can Maat ever die? Is not this transition the gateway of progress? And can the crucible do more than bring about a physical and spiritual transition, a transmutation, of the priniciples for which we have pledged our lives?"In 1203 BC, they had 'labored' for 200 years, which means about... 1400 BC... again. And the first underlined portion of this quote is doubly interesting, because it 'echoes' another story... about our Congress... indeed... Manly P. Hall, in his book "The Secret Destiny of America" chapter 17, wrote:
"Some years ago, while visiting the Theosophical colony at Ojai, California, A. T. Warrington, esoteric secretary of the society, discussed with me a number of historical curiosities, which led to examination of his rare old volume of early American political speeches of a day earlier than those preserved in the first volumes of the Congressional Record. He made particular mention of a speech by an unknown man at the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The particular book was not available at the moment, but Mr. Warrington offered to send me a copy of the speech, and he did; but unfortunately neglected to append the title or the date of the book. He went to India subsequently, and died at the Theosophical headquarters at Adyar, in Madras. ..."
The following is taken from Washington and His Generals: or, Legends of the Revolution by George Lippard, published in 1847. The signers of the Declaration of Independence sat in Independence Hall at Philadelphia, contemplating losing their heads or being hanged. Their courage wavered. The document sat there unsigned. An extraordinary catalyst was needed to move them to action. An unknown man rose and gave an electrifying speech. He disappeared soon after.
By signing the Declaration, all were guilty of high treason under British law. The penalty for high treason was to be hanged by the neck until unconscious, then cut down and revived, then disemboweled and cut into quarters. The head and quarters were at the disposal of the crown.
No wonder they wavered! No wonder they discussed back and forth for days on end before signing the document that carried so grave a penalty. An old legend dramatizes the story of the one who galvanized the delegates and gave them the courage to sign that document.
But still there is doubt–and that pale-faced man, shrinking in one corner, squeaks out something about axes, scaffolds, and a–gibbet!
"Gibbet!" echoes a fierce, bold voice, that startles men from their seats–and look yonder! A tall slender man rises, dressed–although it is summer time–in a dark robe. Look how his white hand undulates as it is stretched slowly out, how that dark eye burns, while his words ring through the hall. (We do not know his name, let us therefore call his appeal) - THE SPEECH OF THE UNKNOWN.
"Gibbet? They may stretch our necks on all the gibbets in the land–they may turn every rock into a scaffold–every tree into a gallows, every home into a grave, and yet the words on that Parchment can never die!
"They may pour our blood on a thousand scaffolds, and yet from every drop that dyes the axe, or drips on the sawdust of the block, a new martyr to Freedom will spring into birth!
"The British King may blot out the Stars of God from His sky, but he cannot blot out His words written on the Parchment there! The works of God may perish–His Word, never!
"These words will go forth to the world when our bones are dust. To the slave in the mines they will speak–hope–to the mechanic in his workshop–freedom–to the coward-kings these words will speak, but not in tones of flattery. No, no! They will speak like the flaming syllables on Belshazzar's wall–
THE DAYS OF YOUR PRIDE AND GLORY ARE NUMBERED!
THE DAYS OF JUDGMENT AND REVOLUTION DRAW NEAR!
"Yes, that Parchment will speak to the Kings in a language sad and terrible as the trump of the Archangel. You have trampled on mankind long enough. At last the voice of human woe has pierced the ear of God, and called His Judgment down! You have waded on to thrones over seas of blood–you have trampled on to power over the necks of millions–you have turned the poor man's sweat and blood into robes for your delicate forms, into crowns for your anointed brows. Now Kings–now purpled Hangmen of the world–for you come the days of axes and gibbets and scaffolds–for you the wrath of man–for you the lightnings of God!–
"Look! How the light of your palaces on fire flashes up into the midnight sky!
"Now Purpled Hangmen of the world–turn and beg for mercy!
"Where will you find it?
"Not from God, for you have blasphemed His laws!
"Not from the People, for you stand baptized in their blood!
"Here you turn, and lo! a gibbet!
"There–and a scaffold looks you in the face.
"All around you–death–and nowhere pity!
"Now executioners of the human race, kneel down, yes, kneel down upon the sawdust of the scaffold–lay your perfumed heads upon the block–bless the axe as it falls–the axe that you sharpened for the poor man's neck!
"Such is the message of that Declaration to Man, to the Kings of the world! And shall we falter now? And shall we start back appalled when our feet press the very threshold of Freedom? Do I see quailing faces around me, when our wives have been butchered–when the hearthstones of our land are red with the blood of little children?
"What are these shrinking hearts and faltering voices here, when the very Dead of our battlefields arise, and call upon us to sign that Parchment, or be accursed forever?
"Sign! if the next moment the gibbet's rope is round your neck! Sign! if the next moment this hall rings with the echo of the falling axe! Sign! By all your hopes in life or death, as husbands–as fathers–as men–sign your names to the Parchment or be accursed forever!
"Sign–and not only for yourselves, but for all ages. For that Parchment will be the Text-book of Freedom–the Bible of the Rights of Man forever!
"Sign–for that declaration will go forth to American hearts forever, and speak to those hearts like the voice of God! And its work will not be done, until throughout this wide Continent not a single inch of ground owns the sway of a British King!
"Nay, do not start and whisper with surprise! It is a truth, your own hearts witness it, God proclaims it.–This Continent is the property of a free people, and their property alone. [17-second applause] God, I say, proclaims it!
"Look at this strange history of a band of exiles and outcasts, suddenly transformed into a people–look at this wonderful Exodus of the oppressed of the Old World into the New, where they came, weak in arms but mighty in Godlike faith–nay, look at this history of your Bunker Hill–your Lexington–where a band of plain farmers mocked and trampled down the panoply of British arms, and then tell me, if you can, that God has not given America to the free?
[12-second applause]
"It is not given to our poor human intellect to climb the skies, to pierce the councils of the Almighty One. But methinks I stand among the awful clouds which veil the brightness of Jehovah's throne. Methinks I see the Recording Angel–pale as an angel is pale, weeping as an angel can weep–come trembling up to that Throne, and speak his dread message–
"`Father! the old world is baptized in blood! Father, it is drenched with the blood of millions, butchered in war, in persecution, in slow and grinding oppression! Father–look, with one glance of Thine Eternal eye, look over Europe, Asia, Africa, and behold evermore, that terrible sight, man trodden down beneath the oppressor's feet–nations lost in blood–Murder and Superstition walking hand in hand over the graves of their victims, and not a single voice to whisper, "Hope to Man!"'
"He stands there, the Angel, his hands trembling with the black record of human guilt. But hark! The voice of Jehovah speaks out from the awful cloud–`Let there be light again. Let there be a New World. Tell my people–the poor–the trodden down millions, to go out from the Old World. Tell them to go out from wrong, oppression and blood–tell them to go out from this Old World–to build my altar in the New!'
[11-second applause]
"As God lives, my friends, I believe that to be his voice! Yes, were my soul trembling on the wing for Eternity, were this hand freezing in death, were this voice choking with the last struggle, I would still, with the last impulse of that soul, with the last wave of that hand, with the last gasp of that voice, implore you to remember this truth–God has given America to the free!
[13-second applause]
"Yes, as I sank down into the gloomy shadows of the grave, with my last gasp, I would beg you to sign that Parchment, in the name of the God, who made the Saviour who redeemed you–in the name of the millions whose very breath is now hushed in intense expectation, as they look up to you for the awful words–`You are free!'"
[9-second applause]
O many years have gone since that hour–the Speaker, his brethren, all, have crumbled into dust, but it would require an angel's pen to picture the magic of that Speaker's look, the deep, terrible emphasis of his voice, the prophet-like beckoning of his hand, the magnetic flame which shooting from his eyes, soon fired every heart throughout the hall!
The work was done. A wild murmur thrills through the hall.–Sign? Hah? There is no doubt now. Look! How they rush forward–stout-hearted John Hancock has scarcely time to sign his bold name, before the pen is grasped by another–another and another! Look how the names blaze on the Parchment–Adams and Lee and Jefferson and Carroll, and now, Roger Sherman the Shoemaker.
And here comes good old Stephen Hopkins–yes, trembling with palsy, he totters forward–quivering from head to foot, with his shaking hands he seizes the pen, he scratches his patriot-name.
Then comes Benjamin Franklin the Printer....
The Original Declaration of Independence (larger view)
And now the Parchment is signed; and now let word go forth to the People in the streets–to the homes of America–to the camp of Mister Washington, and the Palace of George the Idiot-King–let word go out to all the earth–
And, old man in the steeple, now bare your arm, and grasp the Iron Tongue, and let the bell speak out the great truth:
FIFTY-SIX TRADERS, LAWYERS, FARMERS AND MECHANICS HAVE THIS DAY SHOOK THE SCHACKLES OF THE WORLD!
[13-second applause]
Hark! Hark to the toll of that Bell!
Is there not a deep poetry in that sound, a poetry more sublime than Shakespeare or Milton?
Is there not a music in the sound, that reminds you of those awful tones which broke from angel-lips, when news of the child Jesus burst on the shepherds of Bethlehem?
For that Bell now speaks out to the world, that–
GOD HAS GIVEN THE AMERICAN CONTINENT TO THE FREE–THE TOILING MILLIONS OF THE HUMAN RACE–AS THE LAST ALTAR OF THE RIGHTS OF MAN ON THE GLOBE–THE HOME OF THE OPPRESSED, FOREVERMORE!
[10-second applause]
Are we not bought with a price?
(This reading is taken from the book Washington and His Generals: or, Legends of the Revolution by George Lippard, published in 1847.)www.reversespins.com/signthatdocument.htmlMany believe that the man involved in the giving of that most eventful speech was a Rosicrucian, himself, known only as 'the Professor', and who was, perhaps even, the equally mysterious figure known as the Comte de Saint Germaine. These really are exciting times, my friends... Philadelphia is, of course, one of the seven centers of Initiation (or 'churches') to whom 'messages' were given in the book of Revelation... 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

There's nothing better than to start the day with a little 'dance', and a little smile... Even days like this one. I took an extra 'fill-in' day on the schedule (mostly to pay for a new tire), and this is it... time to 'pay the fiddler', eh...? But before I go this morning, I did have just a few remarks... lol... and here they are. To begin with, in regard to the comment on the passage from the Psalms that I could 'relate' to the symbolism of Persephone and Cerberus, the 'three-headed dog' that is said to guard the gates of Hell,- did anyone notice that the numbering of the chapter and verse was '22:20'? Three two's... as in 'three heads'. Well... that is rather 'serendipitous', wouldn't you say? And 2 is the number of duality,- and the 'translations' of that symbolism seem to run thusly:
Number of the God-Son (the Verb) within Trinity, in the Christian symbolic.
If 1 is the essence, 2 is the existence.
Symbol of the duality, the opposition, the separation, the antagonism.
The 2 is the first number to be deviated from the unit, said Hugues of Saint Victor, and because of that it symbolizes the sin. It is also the first number which admits the division, symbolizing the corruptible things.
Symbolize the love, the charity, since there is necessarily duality between which gives and which receives.
Symbol of sexuality since 2 represents also the division of the unit in male and female.
The principle of the duality can be represented in the form of couple or pair, and would imply the idea of direct and reciprocal reports of simple complementary relations. According to Eckarthausen, "2 is the Number by which one is united to the other and by what only all parts of the world make one."
The second term of a duality is often considered as a negation or a limitation of the first: the Devil, "telling always no", and the Evil which it personifies, have the number 2 for symbol. According to Claude of saint Martin, "2 is the opposition to the Unit, of its production; 2 comes out of 1 only by violence, because nothing from 1 is removed; it is to make pass the entire to the quality of half; it is the origin of the Evil". Madrolle tells that 2 is a false number, ugly, weak, sterile and unhappy. The original sin has consisted to steal to the tree of the garden of Eden (symbol of the unit) the fruit of the knowledge of the good and the evil (symbol of the dualism).
A favorable number as a symbol of the facility.
The 2, which defines the line after the point, represents the entry in the time after the indivisible and incorruptible unit.www.ridingthebeast.com/numbers/nu2.phpThe highlighted points directly above are important to the case at hand, and are deserving of further contemplation in light of what has transpired, so far... And again, we are brought to the "Devil's doorstep" with the number 2... which is, of course, our next 'stop' on the 'journey' that I've been making here,- but, in order to make any further progress, I think that we are going to have to do something very much like 'beating the "Devil" at His own game', so to speak... I've got my Zebra Fun Book out... and a fiddle that I can 'club' him with, if all else fails... I'm pretty sure I still have a lucky half-shekel for the juekebox, too... I think I'm ready. Knock and run...? I will make him a Pillar in the temple of my God... I can't help noticing the flowers... And, speaking of 'head over heels', I've been thinking of the 'great Image of Nebuchadnezzar', as it appeared to him in a dream, which was subsequently 'translated' successfully by Daniel; I think of the feet of the image... and I can't help thinking that the feet are always 'the base' of a 'statue' or a person, for that matter. Daniel begins the translation at the head... which seems rather backwards, if you ask me. He ends up with the feet of the image, as representative of a 'final kingdom' which would 'follow' the 'golden kingdom' of Nebuchadnezzar, and that this 'kingdom' or 'base' would be dealt a crushing blow by a peculiar 'stone' that was 'cut without hands'. And that sounds familiar... I think that the image is upside-down, and the key to the translation lies at the 'base',- with the 'feet' that were iron mixed with miry clay,- and which (while thought to commingle),- would not 'hold together'. It was 'bad science', evidently... which is doomed to its own ultimate 'failure of integrity', and therefore, destruction, when it is struck by this 'stone'. The symbolism of the 'iron' is most interesting in its connection to Mars, and the 'earth' or 'underworld', as well: Of the seven metals, iron is the ‘earthy’ one, having a stronger connection with the Earth than do the others – for a start, it’s the only one that aligns with the Earth’s magnetic field, in a compass. It’s present in far larger quantities in the earth’s crust than the other ‘classical’ metals. The others – lead, tin, gold, copper, mercury and silver – total no more than 0.01%, or one part in ten thousand of the Earth’s crust. They are in a sense little more than ‘visitors to the Earth’ (the phrase is Dr Steiner’s), although we use them so much nowadays that we forget their scarcity. Iron makes up about 5% of the crust, being the only one which has built itself solidly into the substance of the earth.
Reddish-looking soil means that iron is present, and, for the same reason, Mars is red. So the symbolism of Iron-Mars is direct and obvious, with nothing subtle about it. Mars has always been associated with blood and war because of this symbolism. But, let’s not forget that that symbolism is also physiological fact: the blood is red because of the iron in it! The main ore of iron is pyrites, ‘fool’s gold.’ Have some of its marvellous cubic-crystal structures on your mantelpiece! The other common ore is haematite, which has a quite different bulbous structure, and a dark reddish hue. ‘Haem’ means blood and ‘pyr’ means fire - blood and fire! These are indeed the Mars-attributes.
Of the seven metals, iron is the one that burns. A falling star is burning iron. A meteorite burns brightly as it falls through the atmosphere. Fireworks use the burning sparkle of iron filings. Some steel wool can be ignited, then plunge it into a jar of oxygen, when it will glow fiercely. Thereby one experiences the fiery energy of Mars. … One is reminded of Vulcan and Ares by such a demonstration, the two Mars-archetypes of antiquity. One was married to Aphrodite the Goddess of Love while the other just had an affair with her. Vulcan or Haephastos was the Smith, who forged the armour and instruments of war. The fiercely-glowing iron is removed from the furnace and then hammered into shape. Haephastos was lame, symbolizing an affliction that could befall Smiths from arsenic-poisoning. As copper and iron are bound together in the Earth, with most copper ores bound up with iron, as copper and iron interact in the blood, copper helping the iron metabolism – so Mars and Venus were mutually attracted. One sees this in the principle of a dynamo, where an iron-copper interaction takes place to produce the throbbing pulse of electrical energy.www.levity.com/alchemy/kollerstrom_mars.htmlA sort of a 'chemical wedding', it sounds like... to me... that, and "Love is Like Oxygen". Indeed... I highlighted that short bit above, because I found it interesting, in light of the little 'apothecary bottle' or 'medicine jar' that is symbolized by the 'Cross of Lorraine', as well as the 'skull and crossbones'. Little things... Looking at the thing upside-down, then... Kingdoms proceeded from this unlikely 'union', and the 'final kingdom' would again be the 'golden Head'... but the 'base' that was created by mixing the iron with the 'miry clay' would be destroyed, in the process. And their swords will be beaten into 'plowshares'... in another strange 'reversal'... Crazy. Until Friday, then...
