It's Sunday morning, and I think it's time to make another entry in my Journal; it's hard to believe that the last entry was made six days ago... the time seems to pass so slowly... like being stuck in traffic in a car that looks like... somebody else's car... thinking that you're going to get somewhere, eventually, but... you don't... so, maybe it's time to get out and just Walk... And then, you see that our 'Hero' finally finds some 'friends' that he can 'relate' to, except... they've got another gig... kind of like this... Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who did eat of my bread, Hath lifted up his heel against me.Psalm 41:9 If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were rising against me, I could hide. But it is you, a man like myself, my companion, my close friend...Psalm 55:12,13 It all just leaves you kind of... stunned... I suppose... Did you happen to notice the 'Coldplay' bumper sticker in the video? Yeah... so did Dave... But then, I try to remember that isn't the end of the 'story', but maybe it is time to Fly... And I'll tell you something else... the 'Double F' logo, here, looks an awful lot like the 'Parlophone' logo... upside down... and the 'double bars' on the 'Parlophone' logo make it look an awful lot like... the 'Cross of Lorraine'... Just another strange bit of serendipity; I notice these things. And this is new... A Head Full of Dreams...It comes from walking under a sky full of Stars... On a more 'sirius' note... I heard about the explosion in San Diego; I hope that all is Well. And, yes... I had a 'Great' day, yesterday, thanks to my 'friends' on the radio; I had a good time. And I did enjoy most of the Mike Harvey 'Super Gold' show,- especially that request for "The Devil Came Down to Georgia". I guess that's what you do with a fiddle... unless you're just fiddling around... which is kind of fun, too, I guess... it would be... But... the 'dirty' lowdown is... This was a good album. And I think I'll skip the version by the Youtube poster known as 'Clauzikowski'... he looks a bit like Charles Manson and Rasputin all mixed up in a bratwurst skin... Strange days, indeed... Personally, I feel like 'slinging some Stones'... lolol... Let's start with this one,- it was always one of my favorites... I'm happy to say that I really did ride wild horses... they were some of my best friends here, really. There is so much here that is worth doing, and seeing, and knowing... like wild horses. I'm so glad that I didn't miss that... try to cover as much ground here as you can, while you can. I can only be grateful. And, now for this one... an 'oldie but goodie', for sure, and I'd like to give you my own 'interpretation' of that one, this morning... don't worry,- it's all 'by the book'... lol... The way I see it, the only creature that hasn't been turned into a 'beast of burden' in this world is... the Ram... and his brother, the Mountain Goat. There is a reason for that, of course... in symbolism, certainly. According to the 'Mystics,' there are three 'mountains' which must be 'climbed' in order to attain to the 'heights' of the Masters,- they are known as Mount Sophia, Mount Qabala, and Mount Magia. Mildly provocative, don't you think? Especially in light of the fact that the only creatures that are known to attain to, and then 'inhabit' those peaks are... Rams... and their brothers, the Mountain Goats. I find that to be a quietly satisfying piece of information, which has 'echoes' within other parts of the 'story'. For instance, it is an interesting correlation in regard to this 'ram' that it is the particular symbol of Aries, which is the sign of the Creator, and creation. Jupiter Ammon is an appropriate 'symbol' for this aspect of the 'ram'... Remember that our Hermit has attained to at least one of these peaks... and that our Ram/Goat is also a 'solitary' creature... hermit-like, almost, on the mountains. And he never carries a load... When the vernal equinox no longer occurred in the sign of Taurus, the Sun God incarnated in the constellation of Aries and the ram then became the vehicle of the solar power. Thus the sun rising in the sign of the Celestial Lamb triumphs over the symbolic serpent of darkness. The lamb is a familiar emblem of purity because of its gentleness and the whiteness of its wool. In many of the pagan Mysteries it signified the Universal Savior, and in Christianity it is the favorite symbol of Christ. Early church paintings show a lamb standing upon a little hill, and from its feet pour four streams of living water signifying the four Gospels. The blood of the lamb is the solar life pouring into the world through the sign of Aries.
The goat is both a phallic symbol and also an emblem of courage or aspiration because of its surefootedness and ability to scale the loftiest peaks. To the alchemists the goat's head was the symbol of sulphur. The practice among the ancient Jews of choosing a scapegoat upon which to heap the sins of mankind is merely an allegorical depiction of the Sun Man who is the scapegoat of the world and upon whom are cast the sins of the twelve houses (tribes) of the celestial universe. Truth is the Divine Lamb worshiped throughout pagandom and slain for the sins of the world, and since the dawn of time the Savior Gods of all religions have been personifications of this Truth. The Golden Fleece sought by Jason and his Argonauts is the Celestial Lamb--the spiritual and intellectual sun. The secret doctrine is also typified by the Golden Fleece--the wool of the Divine Life, the rays of the Sun of Truth. Suidas declares the Golden Fleece to have been in reality a book, written upon skin, which contained the formulæ for the production of gold by means of chemistry. The Mysteries were institutions erected for the transmutation of base ignorance into precious illumination. The dragon of ignorance was the terrible creature set to guard the Golden Fleece, and represents the darkness of the old year which battles with the sun at the time of its equinoctial passage.www.sacred-texts.com/eso/sta/sta21.htmWhich brings us to this one... "Goats Head Soup"... lolol... and, about that bolded part,- they say that it represents the 'four Gospels', but... it would seem to me to be the four rivers that are said to flow from the Garden of Eden, and that would seem to mean that it (the 'lamb') really was 'slain' from the 'beginning of the world', because it was there... in the beginning. In the 'garden'... Salt, sulphur, and mercury... It seems to be a 'devouring serpent'... that is 'consuming... someone... much in the same way that the 'Father' devours his 'son' in the Alchemical "Book of Lambspring"... Saturn is said to 'devour his children', after all... and they say that Saturn represents 'Time', and it is further said that 'Time shall be no more'... and when that happens, I think we can assume that the 'process' has been completed. The writing at the top of the page reads: "Death of Saturn; life of Mercury." After describing the use of the saturnine substances, the key to the process is declared to be depicted below. The verse reads "This [the stone] is made of four elements. This is the truth in all Nature. Take it in hand, bright and shining, with all diligence and great care and then try to bind all securely together side by side, so the fire may cause alarm." Above the human figure is written: "Saturn is almost dead." To the right of the devouring serpent is a statement of Albertus Magnus that Saturn and Mercury are the first principles of the Stone. Now, that's funny... "Our earliest medicine was made of natural objects." About the king and queen appears the statement that to them a son shall be born "in two trees of the vine," resembling his father and without equal in all the world. About the vase is written: "Green and white." "The vase flame color, the flowers green." "Our water, our silver." The lines below read: "The material of the Philosopher's Stone is that thick, viscous water, which either heat or cold congeals. It is Mercury boiled down and thickened, cooked in neutral earth with sulphurous heat and is called the Prime Material of the metals. In caverns yet dark, and forbidding mountains, if a Stone be found which a thousand years ago Nature made out of her fruits, it will bring him that has it out of trouble. * * * Listen carefully to all my verses; I speak them without veil and without deception.-from THE HERMETIC AND ALCHEMICAL FIGURES OF CLAUDIUS DE DOMINICO CELENTANO VALLIS NOVI FROM A MANUSCRIPT WRITTEN AND ILLUMINATED AT NAPLES A.D. 1606 At the top: "Let them believe that everything is possible. The art is fleeting, bright and rare, and not believed by the foolish." The words between the sun and crescent read "It is hidden," and on the panel across the body "The Book of life and true Treasury of the World."Suidas declares the Golden Fleece to have been in reality a book, written upon skin, which contained the formulæ for the production of gold by means of chemistry...And, with that, I'd just like to remind you what our 'Unknown Philosopher', Louis Claude de St Martin, had to say about books... "Man is the only book that was ever written by the finger of God." I like books. And, let's end this post with this one... I feel as if there must be a 'message' here, as well... "Taste the Rainbow...?" Let's sling one more stone... just for fun... I'll be 'C'-ing you...

Here... I'll use this space to write down something that I thought was funny; this is how 'thick' I can be, sometimes. My friend said to me on the telephone, not so long ago (well...), "I think some people are calling me 'Shlomo'..." And I said... "Oh, don't worry... you're no kind of a 'Shlomo'..." Evidently, 'Shlomo' means the same thing as 'Jedidyah'... it's another name for 'Solomon'. I guess I'm just a little bit slow on the 'uptake'... but, in my own defense... he's no 'Jedidyah', either. Although, I understand that he has indulged himself in some random footstomping... does that make him a 'settler', too? Lolol... Well, how do you like that? I know a 'Solomon', and didn't realize it. You'd think it would be sticking out like a sore thumb... or 33 sore thumbs, maybe. Although, I must say I had some sort of an 'inkling' when he mentioned cutting babies in half... I just tried to pass over it, without having to resort to a cleaver. Or Thor's 'sledgehammer', for that matter... I wonder if he's got the secret de-coder ring... He can always ask Asmodeus to borrow it from the 'rooster' in the 'glass casket'... Angels also helped Solomon in building the Temple; though not by choice. The edifice was, according to rabbinical legend, miraculously constructed throughout, the large heavy stones rising and settling in their respective places of themselves. The general opinion of the Rabbis is that Solomon hewed the stones by means of a shamir, a mythical worm whose mere touch cleft rocks. According to Midrash Tehillim, the shamir was brought from paradise by Solomon's eagle; but most of the rabbis state that Solomon was informed of the worm's haunts by Asmodeus. The shamir had been entrusted by the prince of the sea to the mountain rooster alone, and the rooster had sworn to guard it well, but Solomon's men found the bird's nest, and covered it with glass. When the bird returned, it used the shamir to break the glass, whereupon the men scared the bird, causing it to drop the worm, which the men could then bring to Solomon.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon#One_Thousand_and_One_NightsWhat a story... and another 'magic worm'... How do you like that? For I am a worm, and no man...More echoes... I wonder if we're 'sounding' near the 'bottom of things' yet? Lolol... a little sea humor... There is something else that I wanted to mention, in regard to the seven centers of 'Initiation' and the 'churches' of our 'Revelation' that were mentioned previously, that will tie in nicely with our 'Grail Castle', which I'm not sure anyone had noticed yet... You are all familiar with the 'Seven Wonders of the (Ancient) World', I know... by reputation, if not by name, and the reason, they say, that those 'Monumental Wonders' were erected at those particular sites is because those particular sites were the seven centers of the 'Mysteries of Initiation'. These sites include: the Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt; the Hanging Gardens of Babylon; the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Greece; the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus; the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus; the Colossus of Rhodes; and the Lighthouse at Alexandria, Egypt. The Seven Wonders were first defined as “themata” (Greek for 'things to be seen’...) Notice that the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus is listed among these sites, or 'centers' of Initiation... and then remember that my contender for the 'Grail Castle' was modeled after this particular 'wonder' or 'things to be seen'. You have to ask yourself 'why', I think... and the answer would seem to be that whatever 'mystery' was contained within the site of the 'Greater Mausoleum', was 'echoed' by this version of that 'center'... that it 'reflected' this same 'mystery'. And that makes it a little bit more interesting, still... Don't you think so? That, and the big rocks...

Well, that's one more hole to fill... Got spades...? Lolol... I hope this turns out... it appears to be a 'black sheep'... They say that it represents the 'Agnes Dei', or 'Lamb of God'... Here it is, from Florence,- you see it on top of a mountain... And here... with a 'sword in stone'... lol... Nice. So, what do the 'secret teachings' or 'mysteries' have to reveal to us about the nature of this 'lamb of God'? Here is a mosaic image, shown with the 'seven rays' mentioned below, and it is encircled by a... rainbow... A promise... In the fourth and fifth chapters St. John describes the throne of God upon which sat the Holy One "which was and is, and is to come." About the throne were twenty-four lesser seats upon which sat twenty-four elders arrayed in white garments and wearing crowns of gold. "And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God." He who sat upon the throne held in His right hand a book sealed with seven seals which no man in heaven or earth had been found worthy to open. Then appeared a Lamb (Aries, the first and chief of the zodiacal signs) which had been slain, having seven horns (rays) and seven eyes (lights). The Lamb took the book from the right hand of Him that sat upon the throne and the four beasts and all the elders fell down and worshiped God and the Lamb. During the early centuries of the Christian Church the lamb was universally recognized as the symbol of Christ, and not until after the fifth synod of Constantinople (the "Quinisext Synod," A.D. 692) was the figure of the crucified man substituted for that of Agnus Dei. As shrewdly noted by one writer on the subject, the use of a lamb is indicative of the Persian origin of Christianity, for the Persians were the only people to symbolize the first sign of the zodiac by a lamb.
Because a lamb was the sin offering of the ancient pagans, the early mystic Christians considered this animal as an appropriate emblem of Christ, whom they regarded as the sin offering of the world. The Greeks and the Egyptians highly venerated the lamb or ram, often placing its horns upon the foreheads of their gods. The Scandinavian god Thor carried a hammer made from a pair of ram's horns. The lamb is used in preference to the ram apparently because of its purity and gentleness; also, since the Creator Himself was symbolized by Aries, His Son would consequently be the little Ram or Lamb. The lambskin apron worn by the Freemasons over that part of the body symbolized by Typhon or Judas represents that purification of the generative processes which is a prerequisite to true spirituality. In this allegory the Lamb signifies the purified candidate, its seven horns representing the divisions of illuminated reason and its seven eyes the 'chakras', or perfected sense-perceptions.
The sixth to eleventh chapters inclusive are devoted to an account of the opening of the seven seals on the book held by the Lamb. -Manly P. Hall Thor's 'hammer' is said to have been made of two rams' horns, as well. And so, the 'sledgehammer'... and so, those may not be the 'Long horns', after all... Lololol... Oh, Mary had a little lamb, Its fleece was white as snow......But sometimes in a good wind, Its black underwear would show. Well, that was fun... So, before we go on with our card number 15 (and we will do that just shortly), I would like to add something to our 'Agnes Dei' symbolism, in order to tie that in with our ongoing 'alchemical process', and I believe that one particular of those above will work here... Do you see the blood that runs into the cup...? We can suppose that that is our 'Grail Cup', if you like, and that symbolism is appropriate, too, but the important thing to notice is that the blood is flowing from its chest, just as in these alchemical images of the 'pelican',- that doesn't look like a pelican, at all, and if you look at the 'nest' here, it really would seem to be more of a 'Phoenix'... interestingly... This one seems to be titled, "The Loving Pelican"... For 'God' so loved the World... that He gave... And then some... Here it is, beside the 'laver of Purification'... Lake Minnetonka... Sorry. I couldn't help that one... And this 'vessel', and this bird, neither of which look like a pelican, is known as a 'Pelican'. The vessel, however, does look very much like the one that was illustrated above, with the 'devouring serpent'. And it is this 'vessel', like the 'Grail Cup', which is used to contain the 'blood' or 'ashes' (DNA) of the Phoenix, in order that the 'child' can 'resurrect it', after a certain time... In Greek mythology, a phoenix or phenix (Greek: φοῖνιξ phoinix; Latin: phoenix, phœnix, fenix) is a long-lived bird that is cyclically regenerated or reborn. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor. According to some sources, the phoenix dies in a show of flames and combustion, although there are other sources that claim that the legendary bird dies and simply decomposes before being born again. According to some texts, the phoenix could live over 1,400 years before rebirth.[2] Herodotus, Lucan, Pliny the Elder, Pope Clement I, Lactantius, Ovid, and Isidore of Seville are among those who have contributed to the retelling and transmission of the phoenix motif.
In the historical record, the phoenix "could symbolize renewal in general as well as the sun, time, the Empire, metempsychosis, consecration, resurrection, life in the heavenly Paradise, Christ, Mary, virginity, the exceptional man, and certain aspects of Christian life".en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_%28mythology%29Interestingly, the 'nest' or 'funeral pyre' of the Phoenix is made of 'incense'... and myrrh... which substances should be familiar to most of you, by means of another story... the 'child' in the story received the myrrh, because... the 'child' takes the 'ashes' of its predecessor, and rolls them into a ball of myrrh, which it carries to Heliopolis... the city of the Sun. The death of this 'bird', or Phoenix, is commemorated in the Book of the Revelations, as well as its subsequent 'resurrection'... Chapter 8: And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.Just coincidentally, and most interestingly, the most detailed account of the 'Phoenix' seems to have been given by the Greek historian, Herodotus of Halicarnassus, in the 5th century BC... I just like the 'echoes'... And the Light...

Coffee...? And since we're taking a brief 'intermission', I just saw the 'Superbowl' Skittles commercial... "Rock the Rainbow"... lolol... That's a Good One, under the circumstances. I'm just kind of waiting to see 'Coldplay' do the half-time show... their new video is also very... colorful. I should play if for you while we're waiting... ooops... It's half-time... Wow... just... wow. Speaking of rainbows... and flowers... I always think that they look so much 'brighter' against a basic black background,- just think of the 'rainbow in the dark' that is the True 'Aurora'... I'm sure that it's absolutely... luminous... I danced. Like Chris Martin... it was Great. I wish that I could have been there, just for that. I waved... a lot. And, I could barely believe it, but they played two of my favorite songs... And... Paradise... A 'garden of talking flowers'... and a head full of dreams. In techne-color... And then, just to keep it all 'real', they brought in Bruno Mars and some of the 'boys'... and Beyonce, with some pretty hot berets... and, let's face it, I'm a sucker for a black beret... and I'm still trying to dance... I do all right with some MC Hammer... It's probably a good thing that I wasn't there, after all. Count your blessings... But I would just like to say, for the record, that it was an Awesome half-time show,- the best kind of 'Magic'... a total Surprise... and the 'clips' were nice, too. So many 'friends' along the way, that we will surely meet again,- and in the 'face' of so much 'evidence', it really becomes difficult not to believe... In that kind of Love... Not that it means anything, but just so you all know... it was a Great 'message'... and a really Fun show to watch; and, of course, the 50th show would be... 'Golden'... as far as the numbers go. And, hay... I'm a Believer... They say that Guns 'n Roses are going to play together again. Anything could happen... Oh, no... wait a minute, Axel... I'm not going to the 'Jungle' without Morris Day,- I know I can dance to that... Well, Halelujah... here he comes now... Oh, gosh... I almost forgot to mention those rainbow-colored fiddles... That was hot... speaking of 'rocking the rainbow', and all... I wonder if you can get those in Georgia? They're pretty good, too...

Okay... I feel 'inspired'... Right up until then. Well... let's just 'carry on', shall we? Everybody else does... I did have a few additional notes to make on the subject of our Phoenix, and its peculiar relationship to the 'Brothers of the Rose and Cross', and our alchemical process. In an illustration shown here, you can see both the 'black swan' of the Initiate, and the Phoenix of 're-birth'... resurrection... and within the circular centerpiece is a double-headed bird, which looks much like the ancient 'double-headed eagle' of Masonry. And serpents... This one is actually titled 'Double-headed Phoenix'... they are fairly interchangeable, as far as the symbolism involved... which is also interesting... And speaking of symbolism... another 'connection' is made to 'resurrection' and the double-headed eagle, or Phoenix, here... this one is Roman... The earliest representation of the phoenix is found in the ancient Egyptian Bennu bird, the name relating to the verb “weben,” meaning “to rise brilliantly,” or “to shine.”
...One version of the myth says that the Bennu bird burst forth from the heart of Osiris. In the more prevalent myths, the Bennu created itself from a fire that was burned on a holy tree in one of the sacred precincts of the temple of Ra. The Bennu was supposed to have rested on a sacred pillar that was known as the benben-stone. At the end of its life-cycle, the phoenix would build itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignited; both nest and bird burned fiercely and would be reduced to ashes...www.newworldencyclopedia.org/entry/Phoenix_%28mythology%29And, of course, our own national 'bird' is said to be an eagle, although... the first representations of the thing didn't look that much like an eagle... Early portrayals of it are more in the nature of a... phoenix... Shown here on our early gold and silver coins... coincidentally... and I'll tell you why... It's alchemical in Nature... Here, a crowned woman is shown holding a globe that contains a 'pelican', and she is riding on what appears to be the same 'lion with young' that is shown in the carvings at Qasr-Al-Abd... interestingly... It is described thusly: 'Multiplicatio' emblem from Philosophia Reformata (Johann Daniel Mylius, 1622). Here, multiplication is illustrated using images of a pelican and a lion feeding their young.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplication_%28alchemy%29This particular alchemical process is known as 'multiplication'... you see what I mean? Lolol... Multiplication is the process in Western alchemy used to increase the potency of the philosopher's stone, elixir or projection powder. It occurs near the end of the magnum opus in order to increase the gains in the subsequent projection. George Ripley gives the following definition of multiplication:
Augmentation it is of the Elixer indeede, In goodnes and quantitie both for white and red Multiplication is therefore as they doe write, That thing that doth augment medicines in each degree, In colour, in odour, in vertue and also in quantitee.
Multiplication was also used to describe the facet of alchemy chiefly concerned with the reproduction of physical gold and silver...
In his discussion of multiplication, Ripley goes on to compare the medicine or elixir to fire. He notes that the methods of multiplication are related to the processes of congelation, cibation, and fermentation. In doing so he also hints at multiplication's internal significance.
And why may you multiply this medicine infinitely, Forsooth the cause is this, For it is fire, which kindled will never die, Dwelling with you, as fire does in houses, Of which one spark may make more fire this way, As musk in pigments and other spices more, In virtue multiplied, and our medicine right so.[...]
Keep in your fire therefore both morning and evening, So that you do not need to run from house to house, Among thy neighbours to seek or borrow your fire , The more you keep, the more good shall you win, Multiplying it always more and more within your glass, By feeding with Mercury unto your lives end, So shall you have more than you need to spend. So much for 'multiplication'... and we have another connection to 'fire' and our 'fire alchemists'. Now, getting back to the phoenix, I related to you last night that some accounts tell that the Phoenix is reported to have lived for up to 1400 years,- I emphasized the number 14, because it seems to be of particular significance to the 'Rose and Cross'... and it is, once again, interesting to find a connection here, as well. Now, this illustration of the pelican shows quite plainly the Rose and Cross, as well as the inscription 'INRI',- which has to do with a 'renovation' or 'renewal' of 'Nature' (in its 'integrity') by fire. So, all things considered, I just imagine that the 'resurrection' of the 'Phoenix' is of some interest to these 'fire alchemists'... and the connection with the 'Grail Cup' that I've already brought up with the underlined portion of the passage quoted above seems to indicate that I may be on the right track after all... Rock it, Steven Tyler...

I'd like to show you something, in the illustration below (which we just saw, above)... I wonder if you noticed? Scattered around the figure of the lamb are eight sets of dice... marked cubes, that display dots, that represent numbers... dice. The sides are turned in each of the represented sets, so that different numbers are displayed, but... the total of each set of sides is the same. It's eleven. And, the lamb is surrounded by four of the five-petaled white mystic roses... just as shown on the 'flag' or 'standard' that is carried by our 'Death' figure, while the lamb's banner displays a red 'Templar cross'... not to mention that he is standing on a field of clovers... much like the "clubs" as shown on your deck of playing cards. I love this song... I cry almost every time that I hear it. And yet... I love the 'echoes'. Released in 1965... 6+5= 11... *Sigh*... or lol... Now, let me add these notes that I've covered previously in regard to the number 11; in light of what we've just seen, this becomes increasingly... provocative, I think... Symbol of the interior fight, the rebellion and the mislaying which results from it. But it also represents someone who comes out victorious of the tests with the acquired knowledge.
Represent the transgression of the law because it exceeds of one the number of ten, which is the number of the Decalogue. For this fact, it represents the sin according to saint Augustin. The psalm 11 (Vulgate numbering) asks effectively the punishment of the wicked. The theoretical speculations on this number confirm this symbolism. The sum of numbers 1 to 11 is 66, which multiplying eleven by the number symbol of the evil, the diabolic 6; by the addition of the two digits which compose it as by its reading in Roman number, II, it reminds the 2, number of the division and the corruption.
Number expressing more than the human sin, it is the sin in general or cosmic, according to R. Allendy.
According to Peignot, it is the force of witnesses and the Word. Eleven is therefore the number of the martyrdom, the testimony and the prophecy.
Represent the union of the microcosm and the macrocosm - 5 + 6. (In China, number representing the way (the Tao) of the sky and the earth. It is the number of the central union of the sky, 6, and of the earth, 5.)
Number of the knowledge of God, according to Arabs, this one passing by 11 steps. www.ridingthebeast.com/numbers/nu11.phpWhich brings us right to the doorstep of our number 15 card... 'The Devil'... I think that's about Right... But the 'good news' is... It's seven-come eleven, and the sheep's in 'high clover'... The 'House' may come out a winner, after all...

"Time Warp"... Well, it must be Friday; I made it. This far, anyway... Before we get on with our 'Devil', I'd like to make a few more notes, just for 'fun'... one, in regard to some of the recent advertising spots that I've been able to catch, here and there. I couldn't help noticing the 'satellite TV' carrier that shows a ridiculous looking 'hillbilly' that he calls poor 'cousin Tobias', sitting fully clothed in a metal tub, asking for his 'privacy'. Very droll... considering that I just brought up the 'Tobiad' family in connection with a castle/mausoleum/mystery wonder in Jordan, and I'd have to say that it casts a somewhat questionable light on "Hillbilles" in general. And, oh... the 'privacy'... oh, 'the humanity'... Give me a break... right, Dave? "One break, coming up..." And then, there's the one where the guy meets the 'girl of his dreams', and together, they make the 'kid of their dreams', and they all pile into a tiny luxury/family car along with an old, shaggy, white-haired dog... old 'Faithful and True'... give me a break. I already told you that I've see 'dreams' come 'true', right in front of my eyes... and watch the dog. It seems to look old... and it might actually remember some of its old tricks. Lolol... I told you, didn't I, that part of my 'toolbox' was 'advertising'? I designed it, laid it out, put it together, and then sold it... I know it fairly intimately, you might say, and to my own credit (small as it is), I did win some various awards in that area, so... do I get the 'message'? What do you think? There are many that I enjoy, on the other hand... some of them actually make me cry. And I want to say, personally (not that it means anything at all in the big picture), that I appreciate the 'lift' that I get when I see your images, and hear your 'messages', because... they 'speak to me'. And I feel better... anad I'm sure that I'm not the only one (it's a big world, after all...) and on that 'larger scale', I'd say that's got to be worth something. And I can only imagine that you do, too... Nice logo... and if I'm not mistaken, that's a neon rose, there, in the 'intro'... And hay... I like the 'message'. The next thing that I'd like to say is that, I think that I understand a few things, that I'd like to share with you. And what we need to do is find the 'oldest' recorded instance of that 'figure' which was known to the most ancient people as the 'Lord'... 'God'. In other words, those qualities that they were able to comprehend as necessarily 'belonging' to that 'primal enormity' that really Is, Was, and Will Be 'God'... The Rabbins say that it is not possible for man, in this condition, ever to 'know' or 'understand' the 'Mind of God' that is 'God'... and that consequently contains within it, everything that exists, did exist, or will exist, 'time without end'. Therefore, man, such as he is, must put a 'face' on it, in order to 'interface with it', so to speak... this 'God' must be somehow accessible to Man, for that is our relationship to It/Him, as you Will,- to act as Its 'processor' and 'means of working' in this physical dimension that we inhabit. And so, we have described Him 'thus' and 'thus', but... you still have not hit the mark; the only thing that can happen is that He/It can make Itself 'known' to you. I believe that this happens, and that sometimes He/It 'chooses' 'vehicles' or 'vessels' in which He/It might work more particularly, for whatever reason, as It seems to have chosen 'David' or 'Enoch' or 'Mohammed' or the man known as the 'Buddha'... I believe that it is possible that some unguessed 'magnetic'-type 'attraction' with this 'Force' makes certain people particularly 'compatible' (Enoch was said to be a 'friend of God') with It, and that is why this 'spiritual election' cannot be 'forced' my human means... it 'is' or it isn't. Nobody but Arthur could pull the sword from the 'stone', but he pulled it out seemingly effortlessly. The 'Force' was with him, evidently... Nevertheless, He/It did take form, and forms, which did reflect those qualities of which it is 'composed'... and these 'qualities' are 'Truth', because they unalterable,- they do not change. It is by means of these 'qualities' or 'Truths' that He/It may be known to men,- and in the same way, He/It that is 'unnameable', and even 'unspeakable' in Greatness, is known to them by particular 'names, which are not 'names', but 'attributes' or 'qualities', really, that He is represented by. Even numbers expressed these qualities of 'God', or 'Truths' in the minds of men... and by numbers His/Its 'qualities' can also be known, as well as the depth of the 'perfection' of 'measurement' that is produced by 'Nature', or better understood maybe, by 'God' alone... in the Great Enormity of His Manifestation that is His 'Nature'. It's complicated, yes...? Lolol... and yet, so perfectly simple, really. Like clouds... or water... For this, we have to return to Egypt... where it is said that we will find the Councils of the Brothers and Sisters that were/are the "Rose and Cross", and where we can find a Great Mystery that they say has not been 'solved' to this day, and that is most likely because most of the 'evidence' was destroyed, eventually, in order to change 'history', and hopefully, the future as well. By whatever means necessary, typically, and by means of 'Magick' for the sake of 'Power', where it could be 'mastered'. This continues; business as usual. And really, this is where we will find our 'Devil', after all... looking all Powerful, and jerking the chains of the two people that he has in his 'grip', in order that they not make any further 'progress'... The thing is, there is a 'dark side' of the 'Force', which is 'balanced' by the 'Light', and without the existence of the other, either one would otherwise pervade everything, everywhere (which also kind of sounds like what the 'Devil' would like to do, coincidentally), but this condition does not allow for the 'free exchange' that is necessary for 'creation' or 'expression', which is the True Nature of 'God'. This 'dark side', by the very Nature of the term, cannot be represented by the 'Light'... but, it is 'defined by the Light, and vice-versa. Therefore, by Virtue of Necessity, your 'Devil' or 'Dark Side' of the 'Force' cannot be represented by the one known as 'Lucifer', or 'Light'. They are, however... strange 'twins'; currently bound together by the necessities of expression, or manifestation, on this 'plane', and 'out of balance', due to the 'adjustments' and 'manipulations' of men, chiefly, but it is also written that at some point in the future, the 'necessity' of the 'dark' or 'evil' side of manifestation will no longer be necessary,- a state of 'equilibrium' will have been reached and therefore, 'evil' will no longer exist as we know it to be, at this time... [22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. [23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. [24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. [25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. [26] And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. [27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.-from the final chapter of the Book of the Revelations I want to show you a 'bearded lady' ("Freak Show"), and a female King with a beard, and why She/He wore it... it includes a 'coffin' (part of the Masonic symbolism)... and a seven-rayed crown (or maybe 'horns')... and the real "Wooly Bully"... lolol... But, no really... And, just so you know, I can probably 'agree to agree' if... you go ahead and put a big 'Bud' in front of it... You know, I also feel really inspired right now. Go ahead, and say it... Cock-us... Lololol... Abracadabra... We should probably begin with some 'dusty old history' from Spencer Lewis, from his "Complete History of the Rosicrucian Order"... that seems credible enough. This is the Pharoah Hatshepsut... She is shown here as a lion... There is a reason to get to know Hatshepsut... she was undoubtedly (as seen in her iconography) 'schooled' in the Mysteries, and in one particular 'Mystery' that was taught only to those who had been 'crowned' as Pharoah... it was that 'Important', evidently... and important enough to Hatshepsut to take on the appropriate associated symbolism. Oh, and about that 1000-petaled rose (or lotus, if you will)... 1000 is the number of "Pharoah's Daughter"... just coincidentally... Possibly this one... or the one that married Solomon... or... Something else... Thanks for the great muIsic,- especially the 'Funkytown'. And, please forgive the 'funk'... it's been a long winter, and sometimes a short 'system shut-down' is all that I seem able to do. I see flowers, though... the daffodils are coming up, the early camellias are beautiful, and my African Daisies have bloomed all winter long. I consider that, too, to be a Great Favor... Just like these. Daisies are my 'birth-month' flower... it's the small things. Like that capital "I" that snuck into the word 'music', somehow... my 'cursor' tends to 'jump' sometimes, and I usually catch it, and then correct it, but... I think I'll leave this one. It reminds me of a song... About a 'man in an iron mask'... At any rate, let's continue with our journey to the 'Halls of Greatness'... and into these Halls, most men have never stepped, nor even guessed. The 'mysteries' which they contain were of such value that they were 'secrets',- they were 'hidden', for they contained the 'seed' of the Future... and this Future was guarded, most carefully, from those that would seek to alter it, or even destroy it, if possible. And so it continues, to this day... but, another day... that Day... in which the Great Mysteries would find their culmination, was surely coming. And in that Great Day, all would be known... All would be revealed. And, so certain am I that that Day is here, that I am going to attempt to 'lift the veil' on some of these Mysteries, and once again bring 'illumination' to these Ancient Halls. May 'God' bless the reading of the Word... If the 'secret wisdom' was imparted in any tangible form, it is to be found to exist in the symbolism of the Egyptians, namely in such devices as were not an integral part of their language or common writing. In this manner, a symbol would exoterically depict to one mind one meaning, and another a far different significance. This is not merely a supposition, but a fact borne out by such a vast number of circumstances and indications, as to remove them from the realm of coincidence. It will suffice to mention but one such example. The Egyptian ground plans of a temple were almost always oblong in shape. Likewise this sign (shown is a rectangular 'box' shape, resembling a 'pine box') was a symbol in Egypt of the letter "M", or "Ma", implying the earth or 'mother influence'. The powers, gods, or deities which were worshipped in the temples were conceived to transcend the earth, and therefore, by contrast, were 'positive' in nature or spirit. "Ra" was one of the most celebrated masculine creative powers. He reached down to earth and impregnated it with life. "Ra" was frequently depicted by a solar disc, or circle. Thus, we have in these two symbols, the 'oblong' and the 'circle', a lesson in the creation of earth and creation of life by the combining of dual forces. We might say that one represented one polarity, and the other another.
Those who possessed such knowledge were under great oath not to reveal it wrongly, and would suffer dire consequences if they misused the 'secret wisdom'. In a translation from the original hieroglyphic inscriptions in "The Book of the Dead", by Sir E.A. Wallis Budge, we find these admonishments, "to allow no one to see it," nor was it to be recited to even a close friend, for further we find: "never let the ignorant person, or anyone whatsoever look upon it"; also, "the things which are done secretly in the hall of the tomb are mysteries..."
In some cases, classes of a very select nature were held in the private chambers of the reigning Pharoah.
The members of such assemblies became more and more select, the teachings more profound, and the discussons so dialectic that there arose a most autocratic and secret society of the truly great minds of the day. Thus was laid the foundation...In the face of such admonishments, I have carefully considered the consequences of 'speaking out' about these most 'occulted' of the 'mysteries', and I feel that since they have already (obviously) been 'used' by others in pursuit of their own ends, that they would be better served today in the hands of those to whom they always 'belonged'... and to those Great Hands, I commend my own 'spirit', in this matter. Well, how do you like that...? Great 'look'...

"Dealing in multiplication, and they still can't feed everyone..." (My 'Youtube' version was just followed by "Land Down Under"... lolol...) Let's take it 'higher'... The first Pharoah who conducted the class in his private chambers was Ahmose I, who reigned from 1580 BC to 1557 BC. Because he was capable of conducting the great school as well as ruling the people with more civilized and advanced principles (due to his training in the school, no doubt), he is referred to as "the deliverer of Egypt" by some historians. Now, before we go any further 'down the line', let me point out to you the use of the word 'conductor', which we might associate with our 'train' symbolism, which would also relate to the 'infamous' Nautonnier, or 'conductor' of sorts, of the "Priory of Sion". I would also like to refer you to the name of 'Ahmose', and remind you that I pointed out to you previously its 'similarity' to the name of 'Moses', who believed himself to be the 'deliverer of the Hebrews'... it is no coincidence, certainly, that he should adopt this 'symbolism', considering that 'Moses' himself was in line to become 'Pharoah' at one point in his most interesting life. Nevertheless, I think that you can find the 'roots' of this 'vine' firmly planted in the black soil of Egypt... along with your Tora... and your Rota... You should have seen that coming... I just happened to see this one, and thought that it seemed appropriate, somehow... And there were two other things that I just happened to see, as well; the first was an advertisement announcing the 50th anniversary of the Eugene Symphony, who is presenting "Fire and Ice" on 2/18... that makes an 11, coincidentally... the second was another advertisement for a new movie... Triple 9 (999) on 2/26, and that makes 10, or 1... which added to 999 makes 1000... a thousand-petaled rose... or maybe it's 999(1)... lolol... All is number... that's what they say... I'll 'open' with a black beret and a red rose... ... and 'raise' you a Morning Star... I wonder what the odds are on that One...? Lololol... He (Ahmose I) was succeeded as Pharoah by Amenhotep I, who became a teacher in the secret school for three years.
On January 12 (approximately), 1538 BC, Thutmose I was crowned succeeding Amenhotep I. He owed his position to his wife, Ahmose, who was the first woman to become a member of the class on equal terms with the men. The discussion regarding her admittance (preserved in the Rosicrucian Archives) forms an interesting story and reveals the origin of some of the doctrines of the equality of the sexes.
Thutmose I was succeeded by Hatshepsut, his daughter, who ruled as "king" independently and as co-regent with her half-brother Thutmose II, a son of Thutmose I by his marriage to Isis.
It was Thutmose III who organized the present physical form followed by the present secret Brotherhood and outlined many of its rules and regulations. He ruled from approximately 1500 BC until 1447 BC, and his reign is unimportant to us except for his establishment of the Brotherhood. And, I suppose that was true... except that, from approximately Now, "a time, and times, and half-a-time" would take us to... the reign of Thutmose III. And whatever events transpired at about that time... What interests us mostly, and which is recorded in history, is Thutmose III's explanation of his experience upon the occasion (the great festival of the Spring equinox, held on a March evening in the temple of Karnak)...
Thutmose III, as was his custom, was present at the feast. He, with his colleagues, was seated in the Northern Hall of the Great Temple. The chief priests, or Kheri Hebs, were perambulating and carrying a little image of the god Amen. As they passed the different groups of personages they were acclaimed. But, strangely, the High Priest would walk over to each group and peer into their faces as though he were searching for someone, and then as if realizing that they were not the ones, he would shake his head in the negative, and cross over to the opposite side and repeat the process. He knew all the time that Thutmose III was present, but finally when he reached the Northern Chamber of the Temple, he acted as though he had suddenly discovered the one for whom he had been searching. He placed at the feet of Thutmose III the image of Amen, which depicted, in the customs of the time, that he, Thutmose III, had been chosen instead of his brother to succeed the father upon the throne, and the great assemblage broke forth in acclamation.
...He had no knowledge that he was chosen to become Pharoah, because by right of accession, his brother should have been. But when the image was placed at his feet, he was seen to stand up; however, according to Thutmose III he felt "raised" as though his feet hardly touched the ground, and as though he had ascended into the heavens, and there he tells us God duly appointed him to serve his people. In fact, he felt as though he had been divinely ordained because of the mystical experience, and it became not even necessary for him to journey to Heliopolis where the Sun Temple was located, as had been the custom, to be formally coronated.Interestingly, the city of Heliopolis is the also the place to which our 'Phoenix' repairs, in order to be 'raised' as well... it's difficult to overlook the associations, I think. And our Thutmose was seated in the 'Northern Hall'... taken from the 'sides of the North', as it were. Well, how do you like that? Now, I want to show you some other most interesting items, and their 'associations'... the first, is known as the 'cartouche' or 'seal' of Thutmose III,- At Karnak... The 'bird' symbolized in this cartouche seems to be seated on a 'nest'... of cinnamon? And here, with what almost appears to be a 'spade', as well as a 'trident'-type item... Now, the cartouches pictured above come from the temple of Hatshepsut, and this all becomes more interesting, when you consider this information, gathered from another website: The mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh, in Luxor at Deir al-Bahri is at the foot of a sheer limestone cliff. The pyramid-shaped mountain above the cliff gave the site royal appeal. Inside, the original pigments remain colorful in many of the paintings. An entire wall is devoted to paintings of her expedition to the land of Punt, apparently in the area of Ethiopia on the Red Sea, with her troops in sailing ships, recognizable tropical fish, and the queen of Punt. Hatshepsut lived from c. 1473 to 1458 B.C.E. and was the daughter of Thutmose I. When Thutmose I died, his son Thutmose II succeeded him and married his stepsister Hatshepsut. When Thutmose II died around 1479 B.C.E., his young son Thutmose III became pharaoh, with Hatshepsut as his regent. In 1473 B.C.E., she declared herself pharaoh. She wore a fake beard and male clothing and had herself drawn and treated as a man. She disappeared around 1458 B.C.E. when Thutmose III regained the throne.www.underwater.org/mermaid/Egypt/hatshepsut/Hatshepsut.htmlAgain, the twin serpents... Now... more interesting still is the note that we find on the first illustration, which says that Thutmose III was the 'Pharoah of the Exodus'. Which means that 'Moses' left Egypt, with the Hebrews, during his reign... after he succeeded to the throne. Do you suppose that Moses was the 'brother' that was 'supposed' to have worn the 'crown' of Pharoah, but was 'passed over' in favor of Thutmose III? And that, as a consequence of this 'Divine Appointment', or 'spiritual election', that Moses decided to leave Egypt altogether, forming his own 'country' to be composed of the Hebrew nation then living in 'exile' in Egypt? And this is what seems to have happened... and, which would tend to make his 'Jehovah' a very 'jealous god', indeed... And this nation, he did form, with the exception of those few that knew the original 'secret wisdom', and who chose to follow their 'people', but would not follow Moses in his new 'translation' of the Tora... and the Rota... and took this 'wisdom' even further underground, in 'faith' of a future 'resurrection', until its 'Time' here had come. Of course, the Pharoah was 'against' the removal of this most 'secret wisdom' of the Great Mysteries from its place in the Halls of Egypt, and it was not due to the loss of the 'slaves' that he was so greatly disturbed,- it was due to the loss of the alchemical knowledge that was leaving with Korah, in particular, and most likely a few of the other 'princes of the people' that held it. It is, after all, Mount Qabala that precedes Mount Magi(c)a... it would be a very great loss, indeed. For a very long time...

Well, let's take up the 'thread' of our story again (maybe it is the 'thread of Ariadne', after all, considering the 'labyrinth' that we are finding ourselves in... and I've barely gotten started; there is a 'real' labyrinth,- several, actually,- and they all represent the same 'truth')... So far, we know that Egypt is the 'home' of many of the things that we still live in the 'shadow' of, but don't really understand... much like the Sphinx. There are many that lay claim to, or just take hold of, this Egyptian 'heritage', because they 'understand' in some way its importance to every thing that came after it, even to this day. And I believe that they 'sense', as well, that it is still of some significant importance to... the things that are yet to come. And that is true... and that is why this 'knowledge' constitutes a 'Mystery',- not because it pertains to the past, but because it contains the future. A certain 'mustard seed', if you will... very small... but someday, it would make a tree that would provide shelter to all of the 'birds of heaven'. A beautiful picture, I think, if you can imagine such a thing. I know that I told you before that Moses, as a 'member' of the Royal Household, was privileged to be schooled in these Lesser Mysteries, certainly, and as (most probably) the 'expected' Pharoah to come, he may have even been given some further instruction in the Greater Mysteries, which he would also most certainly have been given access to. He was a 'Magician'... in every way as accomplished as the Egyptian priests and Magicians that fought against him in his 'rebellion' against the Pharoah, and due to his 'position' as 'family', probably more accomplished, as it is related in the history given. And, he was not only 'family' to the Royal House (one of the meanings of the word Pharoah is actually 'House'... brick house... lol...), it is said that he was actually related by blood to Korah (who actually served as the Pharoah's treasurer, I understand); he is said to have been his 'cousin', so that his 'treachery' was double, really... on both sides. It is not an easy to thing to consider, I know, but... this is how men, even men with 'Good' intentions... take their 'power' here, and how they maintain it. With blood, and Magick... and the 'dark side' of the 'Force'... Prior to the incident with Korah, and the consignment of all of those men, women and children, alive, into 'the abyss', the Hebrews had no 'universal' belief in a Hell... or a place called 'Hell'. That only came later... when people realized that that was the place that you went, if you didn't 'believe'. The 'abyss'... for real. Xibalba... the 'underworld'... It was a heavy yoke, indeed, to place upon the 'bull'. Which brings us to our 'wooly bull'... and its 'golden calf', which the Israelites recognized, and worshipped (adored), and which caused Moses such a great deal of consternation. This, too, represented part of the 'Mysteries', and it was a part which Moses wished to do away with in his new 'understanding' of 'God'... the 'God' that is said to have 'revealed Himself' to Moses in the form of a 'burning bush' on the mountain... and which he 'translated' for the people, through His new 'Law'... Interestingly, it is said that when Moses asked what he should tell the people that the 'name' of 'God' was, he was told, "I Am who/what I will Be"... and not actually "I am that I Am". And this God even had a new 'name'... it was said to be represented by the 'Tetragrammaton', and not the 'Heptagrammaton', or 'seven-lettered name' that was historically (even at that time) associated with 'God'; the 'Abraxas' is one of those names, as is One of the oldest 'names' given for this Supreme Intelligence... and do you know why it (the Tetragrammaton) only has four letters, instead of seven...? This is interesting... No vowels. They leave them out, whereas the ancient priests were said to 'chant the vowels'... like the caterpillar/worm does, here... in colored smoke... With my best regards... Oh, and hay... MasterMusikChannel... lol... We weren't 'lost' so much as... 'misled', I think... they really were 'false shepherds', after all. And these are the same ones that you are still being warned against,- the true 'wolves in sheep's clothing'. As it is written, they 'devour' the sheep... 'consume them'... with no remorse, nor regret. They certainly don't want to enter in to the 'fold', but neither do they wish for you to find 'greener pastures', either. You understand... And, on that note, I'd just like to mention that, as far as 'fixing things' goes, you guys have a pretty Great 'toolbox' going... I know I always feel better, myself. Surely, I'm not the only one... and that's at least really Good Juju, if not real 'magic'... thank you for being a 'friend'.

Well, here we are... it's the 14th day of February, which is another 'holiday' or 'holy day', if you will,- and this one belongs to a Saint (as opposed to a simple rodent)... Saint Valentine. This has become the 'traditional' day on which lovers exchange 'tokens' of their affection, in honor of Saint Valentine, whose beheading on this date somehow snowballed into a church-sanctioned 'love-fest' in which amazing amounts of candy are consumed, and sex is had... by all. If you're 'lucky', that is... the beginnings of which amounted to a simple note of affection that was left for what had become his only 'friend'... the jailer's daughter... as they drug him out of cell to be bludgeoned. It was evidently signed, "From your Valentine..." So... Happy Valentine's Day... to You. Lolol... I know that I'm not going to hear those 'three little words' today, myself... not even on 'speakerphone'... You know the ones... "I've got caaaaaanddddyyyyyy..." Evidently, the candy, sex, and alcohol will help to assuage your feelings of remorse and/or guilt over the beating and beheading of what was otherwise a man with good intentions... Of course, it is also the 'holy' date that marks the beginning of the Roman festival of Lupercalia... and it has to do with the twins, Romulus and Remus, interestingly... and, of course, Juno, the 'mother goddess' that also represented 'marriage'. For this reason, it seems, young men and women (or boys and girls) were 'assigned' to each other in a sort of a 'mock-marriage' by means of a 'draw' for the duration of the festival, and sometimes, this 'relationship' continued, and they chose a lifetime, or extended, partnership in marriage. It may be older than Rome, though... having been known in Greek Arcadia in honor of the Lyecaen 'Pan', which also has a 'wolf' connection. And, in that connection, this is interesting: Etymologically, Luperci, Lupercalia, and Lupercal all relate to the Latin for 'wolf',- lupus, as do various Latin words connected with brothels... The Latin for she-wolf was slang for prostitute. The legends say that Romulus and Remus were nursed by a she-wolf in the Lupercal. Servius, a 4th century pagan commentator on Vergil, says that it was in the Lupercal that Mars ravished and impregnated the twins' mother. (Servius ad. Aen. 1.273)ancienthistory.about.com/od/socialcustomsdailylife/a/010908Lupercal_2.htmThe 'wolf' with 'little red riding hood', I assume... Or, maybe... Venus and Mars... I've been baaaaaaad... baaaaaaad... (definite sheep sounds going on)... And oh... it's 'Funkytown'... Happy Valentine's Day, friends... for real... On a brighter note, this also marks the date of Oregon's statehood... the 14th day of February. Happy Birthday, Oregon... and many, many more... As I've remarked previously, the number 14 seems to have a particular significance to the Brotherhood of the Rose and Cross, and so, I can't help thinking (romantically, perhaps) that there is some particular significance to be found in the date of our 'statehood', and/or some 'connection' to this 'Rosy Cross'... and I think that I can. It is only a 'slim thread', and yet, it is from these 'slim threads' that a larger 'web' is woven, isn't it? 'Nature' itself says that it is... You see, it was a Father Hay that was connected with the St. Clair family and Rosslyn chapel... and it was his progeny, the Honorable Arthur Hay, that served as a Supreme Court Justice for our own state of Oregon. The Prince’s Pillar, or as it is now more commonly known – The Apprentice Pillar, is one of the most famous parts of the chapel.
Capt. John Sleazer (? – 1714) described the pillar in his: Theatrum Scotiae, published in 1693, when he described it as being the Prince’s Pillar presumably after the founder of the Chapel – William St Clair, (c.1404 – c.1484) ‘Prince’ of Orkney. He made no mention of the Knights Templar or Freemasonry.
Father Richard Augustine Hay (1661 – 1736) in transcribing all the documents in about 1690 of the St Clair family never once mentions the legend of the Apprentice Pillar. See the: Genealogie of the Saintclaires of Rosslyn. Father Hay meticulously recorded the history, documents and folk tales of the St Clair family but never once mentions Freemasonry or the Knights Templar.
In 1774 when Bishop Robert Forbes published the first known ‘guidebook’ of the chapel; An Account of the Chapel of Roslin, he stated:
‘ ...a model of this pillar had been sent from Rome, or some foreign place, the master-mason upon viewing it, would by no means consent to work off such a pillar, till he should go to Rome, or some foreign part, to take exact inspection of the pillar from which the model had been taken; that, in his absence, whatever might be, the occasion of it, an Apprentice finished the pillar as it know stands: and that the master upon his return, seeing the pillar so exquisitely well finished made enquiry who had done it; and being stung with envy, slew the apprentice.’
Like Hay and Slezer, Forbes had an intimate knowledge of Rosslyn Chapel having read and quoted both. He wrote about the chapel 80+ years after them and when William St Clair of Rosslyn was still alive and yet he too made no mention of Freemasonry nor of the Knights Templar.
From this one can deduce that the legend came into being sometime during the first half of the 18th century.www.rosslyntemplars.org.uk/index.php/rosslyn-chapel/images-of-rosslyn-chapel/apprentice_pillar1/Arthur Douglas Hay (1884–1952) was an American attorney and judge in Oregon. He was the 62nd Associate Justice on the Oregon Supreme Court, serving from 1942 to 1952. Prior to his appointment to the state’s highest court, Hay served as a state circuit court judge.
Arthur Hay was born in Peterhead, Scotland on October 24, 1884. He received his primary education at local schools in Edinburgh before immigrating to the United States through New York in 1906. Two years later he moved to Oregon where he enrolled at the University of Oregon School of Law. There he earned an LL.B. degree in 1911...From Wikipedia... lol... and, to top it all off... He was a 'Duck'... Go, Ducks... lololol...

Moving on, then... Back to Egypt. The familiar story of the infancy of the man known to history as Moses, is that he was placed in a reed basket by his mother, a Hebrew woman, because she feared for his life; she put him in the river, where he floated away, never to be seen again by his family, only to be found at some point later by the Pharoah's daughter, who seems to have 'adopted' him, and raised him as her own child, and part of the royal household. According to the Hebrew Bible, he was a former Egyptian prince who later in life became a religious leader and lawgiver, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. The historical consensus is that Moses is not an historical figure. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew (מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ, lit. "Moses our Teacher"), he is the most important prophet in Judaism. He is also an important prophet in Christianity, Islam, Baha'ism as well as a number of other faiths.
According to the Book of Exodus, Moses was born in a time when his people, the Israelites, an enslaved minority, were increasing in numbers and the Egyptian Pharaoh was worried that they might ally with Egypt's enemies. Moses' Hebrew mother, Jochebed, secretly hid him when the Pharaoh ordered all newborn Hebrew boys to be killed in order to reduce the population of the Israelites. Through the Pharaoh's daughter (identified as Queen Bithia in the Midrash), the child was adopted as a foundling from the Nile river and grew up with the Egyptian royal family. After killing an Egyptian slavemaster (because the slavemaster was smiting a Hebrew), Moses fled across the Red Sea to Midian, where he encountered the God of Israel speaking to him from within a "burning bush which was not consumed by the fire" on Mount Horeb (which he regarded as the Mountain of God).
God sent Moses back to Egypt to demand the release of the Israelites from slavery. Moses said that he could not speak with assurance or eloquence, so God allowed Aaron, his brother, to become his spokesperson. After the Ten Plagues, Moses led the Exodus of the Israelites out of Egypt and across the Red Sea, after which they based themselves at Mount Sinai, where Moses received the Ten Commandments. After 40 years of wandering in the desert, Moses died within sight of the Promised Land.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MosesThis is the story given, but what if that weren't quite 'true'? What if this part of the 'history' of the man, Moses, was actually 'fabricated', in order to give 'Moses' the Hebrew identification that was needed in order to give him 'credibility' with the Israelites, not only as a 'national leader', but as a 'spokesman' for 'their' God, and the 'legitimacy' that was necessary for the implementation of this new 'Law', and the writings that would be considered 'Torah', and history? History is, after all, written by the 'winners' in any case, and after a certain amount of time passes, it is what they said it was, because none of you were there to know the difference. And this becomes much easier when the majority of contemporary writings have been destroyed, that might have testified to a different set of circumstances... What if, as I believe, 'Moses' really was an Egyptian prince? And Korah, his cousin, would have been Egyptian, as well... after all, as treasurer to the Pharoah, he had access to much wealth, and the commodities of a nation,- hardly something that would be left in the hands of an anxious, if not hostile, slave. And then, there was Joseph... a pyramid-shaped tomb was erected in his honor, which, let's face it... was not typical for a Hebrew,- 'slave' or otherwise. Let me show you... There is other evidence of Joseph in Egypt during this time period. (Approximately 1450 BC) An artificial lake was made in ancient times called Lake Moeris. It was formed by a canal running off the Nile River called to this day the Canal of Joseph. Beside the lake, which still exists (although smaller in size), there are ruins of a massive building, which contained a labyrinth, and was considered one of the greatest structures of its time by the Greek historian/traveler, Herodotus. The building had twelve sections (reminiscent of the twelve tribes), and might well have been an administrative headquarters for Joseph’s agricultural program. The Pharaoh of the time was obviously very proud of the lake and the massive building, because he built his own pyramid at the site for his burial. Nothing like this complex exists anywhere else in the vast ruins of ancient Egypt. Again, the new Egyptologists suggest that this complex is stunning evidence for a remarkable foreign assistant to Pharaoh, and occurs in the correct time frame for Joseph.
One last stunning piece of evidence for Joseph exists, and that brings us back to his burial in Goshen, and his bones that were removed by Moses at the time of the Exodus. In this same area in Goshen, where a large contingent of Semites lived, a great palace has been discovered, with a garden and a tomb, curious in its combination of Egyptian and Semitic styles. Rohl and his colleagues believe the palace is that of Joseph, perhaps his retirement villa after many years of service to Pharaoh. It has two apartments in front, suggesting the living quarters of his sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. In the rear are the more spacious living quarters of the prime occupants, perhaps Joseph and his Egyptian wife.
Adjacent to the ruins of the palace, there is an elegant garden area, and in the garden was an unusual tomb. The tomb was in the shape of a small pyramid, but it is clear that the vault was broken into and the remains removed. However, the damage to the tomb was not like that done by the all too common grave robbers of Egypt. It appears to be a careful and methodical removal of bricks from the tomb, as one would expect where the bones of Joseph were carefully removed from his long-used grave by Moses. Could it be that we have here the very tomb of the great patriarch Joseph? The evidence certainly takes it out of the realm of mythology, even for the hardened scientist, and into the realm of accurate history.
But there is more. In the tomb complex, there are ruins of an ancient statue, also unusual in its design and subject matter. It has been violently smashed almost beyond recognition, but enough of it has been found to piece together a possible identification. The statue is of a man who had obvious stature in the Egyptian power structure, with the symbol of Pharaoh’s authority, the throw-stick, on his chest. Yet he also has an unusual Semitic hairdo, with flaming red hair, and wears a coat with variegated colors. The statue has been deliberately smashed and defaced, with an obvious attempt to destroy the head and face. It is as though the remaining Egyptians were so angry with the Semitic inhabitants that, when the Semites left, the Egyptians tried to destroy any trace of their occupation.www.levitt.com/essays/joseph.htmlWell... gosh... I mean, Goshen... 'land of Goshen'... That's some crazy symbolism. And let's not forget our 'Solomon'... history tells us that he married the daughter of Pharoah, himself... Naamah, I believe... and then remind you that the hand of the Pharoah's daughter would not have been given in marriage to anyone outside the 'royal house'. Which would mean that... Solomon, too, was an 'Egyptian', and of some 'royal' extraction. In other words, there may have been another 'branch'...

And I think to myself, 'what a Wonderful world...' All right, then... Let's Go... Now, I think that we should go even further back... to the probable 'Source' of this very great controversy, so to speak,- and the reason for all the 'Mystery'... Let's see... without being disrespectful... I think maybe this one... Yoooowwwwwww... Did you see the new Skittles (trademark, of course) commercial with Steven Tyler? He grew a moustache... thank goodness... otherwise, looking pretty Good, don't you think? Well, my, my, my... what have we got right here? It looks like... MC (Sledge)Hammer... lolol... Evidently booty is still booties is still bootes... and you just can't touch this... Look at my eyes (this is my Sirius face)... Hammer time, yo... But, wait... I just have to add this one, for fun... really... I'm liking this, not to mention "The Love Haters"... You've got to see this video,- this is Great... I'm still smiling... What an imagination... lolol... But hay,- it's got hearts in it... and, that's some band you've got there. I can dig it... And, oh... let's not forget about Steven Tyler... Lolol... This is the cartouche of Asar-Hapi, better known as 'Serapis', or 'Sorapis'... In an oracle delivered to the King of Cyprus, Serapis described himself thus:
''A god I am such as I show to thee, The Starry Heavens are my head, my trunk the sea, Earth forms my feet, mine ears the air supplies, The Sun's far-darting, brilliant rays, mine eyes."
This is, again, from the temple of Hatshepsut, who, I am convinced was aware of these particular 'mysteries'...
Several ancient authors, including Macrobius, have affirmed that Serapis was a name for the Sun, because his image so often had a halo of light about its head. In his Oration Upon the Sovereign Sun, Julian speaks of the deity in these words: "One Jove, one Pluto, one Sun is Serapis." In Hebrew, Serapis is Saraph, meaning "to blaze out" or "to blaze up." For this reason the Jews designated one of their hierarchies of spiritual beings, Seraphim.
The most common theory, however, regarding the origin of the name Serapis is that which traces its derivation from the compound Osiris-Apis. At one time the Egyptians believed that the dead were absorbed into the nature of Osiris, the god of the dead. While marked similarity exists between Osiris-Apis and Serapis, the theory advanced by Egyptologists that Serapis is merely a name given to the dead Apis, or sacred bull of Egypt, is untenable in view of the transcendent wisdom possessed by the Egyptian priestcraft, who, in all probability, used the god to symbolize the soul of the world (anima mundi). The material body of Nature was called Apis; the soul which escaped from the body at death but was enmeshed with the form during physical life was designated Serapis.
C. W. King believes Serapis to be a deity of Brahmanic extraction, his name being the Grecianized form of Ser-adah or Sri-pa, two titles ascribed to Yama, the Hindu god of death. This appears reasonable, especially since there is a legend to the effect that Serapis, in the form of a bull, was driven by Bacchus from India to Egypt. The priority of the Hindu Mysteries would further substantiate such a theory.
Among other meanings suggested for the word Serapis are: "The Sacred Bull," "The Sun in Taurus," "The Soul of Osiris," "The Sacred Serpent," and "The Retiring of the Bull." The last appellation has reference to the ceremony of drowning the sacred Apis in the waters of the Nile every twenty-five years. To further strengthen its association with 'death',- Godfrey Higgins notes that Soros was the name given by the Egyptians to a stone coffin, and Apis was Osiris incarnate in the sacred bull. These two words combined result in Soros-Apis or Sor-Apis, "the tomb of the bull."This material is quoted from Manly P Hall's "Secret Teachings of All Ages"... The association with Seraphim is doubly interesting, in light of these facts, since these are the same Seraphim that are found on the cover of the 'Ark'... two Seraphim... "to blaze out"... like Light. Further, Hall tells us that,- The identity of the Greco-Egyptian Serapis (known to the Greeks as Serapis and the Egyptians as Asar-Hapi) is shrouded by an impenetrable veil of mystery. While this deity was a familiar figure among the symbols of the secret Egyptian initiatory rites, his arcane nature was revealed only to those who had fulfilled the requirements of the Serapic cultus. Therefore, in all probability, excepting the initiated priests, the Egyptians themselves were ignorant of his true character. So far as known, there exists no authentic account of the rites of Serapis, but an analysis of the deity and his accompanying symbols reveals their salient points. And, since His/Its name (you'll see what I mean) has also the Egyptian meaning of 'stone coffin', I think that we can find some of the 'associated symbolism' readily enough... with not much digging, really... Several figures of Serapis that stood in his various temples in Egypt and Rome have been described by early authors. Nearly all these showed Grecian rather than Egyptian influence. In some the body of the god was encircled by the coils of a great serpent. Others showed him as a composite of Osiris and Apis.
A description of the god that in all probability is reasonably accurate is that which represents him as a tall, powerful figure, conveying the twofold impression of manly strength and womanly grace. His face portrayed a deeply pensive mood, the expression inclining toward sadness. His hair was long and arranged in a somewhat feminine manner, resting in curls upon his breast and shoulders. The face, save for its heavy beard, was also decidedly feminine. The figure of Serapis was usually robed from head to foot in heavy draperies, believed by initiates to conceal the fact that his body was androgynous.
Various substances were used in making the statues of Serapis. Some undoubtedly were carved from stone or marble by skilled craftsmen; others may have been cast from base or precious metals. One colossus of Serapis was composed of plates of various metals fitted together. In a labyrinth sacred to Serapis stood a thirteen-foot statue of him reputed to have been made from a single emerald. Modern writers, discussing this image, state that it was made of green glass poured into a mold. According to the Egyptians, however, it withstood all the tests of an actual emerald.Heart of glass... green glass... lolol... There is considerable evidence that the famous statue of Serapis in the Serapeum at Alexandria was originally worshiped under another name at Sinope, from which it was brought to Alexandria. There is also a legend which tells that Serapis was a very early king of the Egyptians, to whom they owed the foundation of their philosophical and scientific power. After his death this king was elevated to the estate of a god. Phylarchus declared that the word Serapis means "the power that disposed the universe into its present beautiful order."
In his Isis and Osiris, Plutarch gives the following account of the origin of the magnificent statue of Serapis which stood in the Serapeum at Alexandria:
While he was Pharaoh of Egypt, Ptolemy Soter had a strange dream in which he beheld a tremendous statue, which came to life and ordered the Pharaoh to bring it to Alexandria with all possible speed. Ptolemy Soter, not knowing the whereabouts of the statue, was sorely perplexed as to how he could discover it. While the Pharaoh was relating his dream, a great traveler by the name of Sosibius, coming forward, declared that he had seen such an image at Sinope. The Pharaoh immediately dispatched Soteles and Dionysius to negotiate for the removal of the figure to Alexandria. Three years elapsed before the image was finally obtained, the representatives of the Pharaoh finally stealing it and concealing the theft by spreading a story that the statue had come to life and, walking down the street leading from its temple, had boarded the ship prepared for its transportation to Alexandria. Upon its arrival in Egypt, the figure was brought into the presence of two Egyptian Initiates--the Eumolpid Timotheus and Manetho the Sebennite--who, immediately pronounced it to be Serapis. The priests then declared that it was equipollent to Pluto. This was a masterly stroke, for in Serapis the Greeks and Egyptians found a deity in common and thus religious unity was consummated between the two nations.Well, how do you like a that? This is the "Theon Heptagrammaton"... and Serapis is occasionally depicted with horns... or a coronet of seven rays... Very much like this, I would imagine... Good morning,- I would like to point out a few things in regard to the quotes above, before we go on. How do you suppose that you would come up with an 'emerald' that appeared to be 'poured glass', and yet, had all of the elements of the mineral... the emerald? There is really only one way, I think... alchemy. They had they knowledge, and the means, evidently... Clement of Alexandria describes a figure of Serapis compounded from the following elements: First, filings of gold, silver, lead, and tin; second, all manner of Egyptian stones, including sapphires, hematites, emeralds, and topazes; all these being ground down and mixed together with the coloring matter left over from the funeral of Osiris and Apis. The result was a rare and curious figure, indigo in color. Some of the statues of Serapis must have been formed of extremely hard substances, for when a Christian soldier, carrying out the edict of Theodosius, struck the Alexandrian Serapis with his ax, that instrument was shattered into fragments and sparks flew from it. It is also quite probable that Serapis was worshiped in the form of a serpent, in common with many of the higher deities of the Egyptian and Greek pantheons.
In A.D. 385, Theodosius, that would-be exterminator of pagan philosophy, issued his memorable edict De Idolo Serapidis Diruendo. When the Christian soldiers, in obedience to this order, entered the Serapeum at Alexandria to destroy the image of Serapis which had stood there for centuries, so great was their veneration for the god that they dared not touch the image lest the ground should open at their feet and engulf them. At length, overcoming their fear, they demolished the statue, sacked the building, and finally as a fitting climax to their offense burned the magnificent library which was housed within the lofty apartments of the Serapeum. Several writers have recorded the remarkable fact that Christian symbols were found in the ruined foundations of this pagan temple. Socrates, a church historian of the fifth century, declared that after the pious Christians had razed the Serapeum at Alexandria and scattered the demons who dwelt there under the guise of gods, beneath the foundations was found the monogram of Christ!Well, how do you like that? Serapis and the library... 'obliterated' from history. Onward, Christian soldiers, eh? Serapis was called Theon Heptagrammaton, or the god with the name of seven letters. The name Serapis (like Abraxas and Mithras) contains seven letters. In their hymns to Serapis the priests chanted the seven vowels. Occasionally Serapis is depicted with horns or a coronet of seven rays. These evidently represented the seven divine intelligences manifesting through the solar light. The Encyclopædia Britannica notes that the earliest authentic mention of Serapis is in connection with the death of Alexander. Such was the prestige of Serapis that he alone of the gods was consulted in behalf of the dying king.
The Egyptian secret school of philosophy was divided into the Lesser and the Greater Mysteries, the former being sacred to Isis and the latter to Serapis and Osiris. Wilkinson is of the opinion that only the priests were permitted to enter the Greater Mysteries. Even the heir to the throne was not eligible until he had been crowned Pharaoh, when, by virtue of his kingly office, he automatically became a priest and the temporal head of the state religion. (See Wilkinson's Manners and Customs of the Egyptians.) A limited number were admitted into the Greater Mysteries: these preserved their secrets inviolate.
Much of the information concerning the rituals of the higher degrees of the Egyptian Mysteries has been gleaned from an examination of the chambers and passageways in which the initiations were given. Under the temple of Serapis destroyed by Theodosius were found strange mechanical contrivances constructed by the priests in the subterranean crypts and caverns where the nocturnal initiatory rites were celebrated...Strange mechanical contrivances, constructed by the 'priests'... like this one, I wonder? Or this one, maybe... But, these are the work of da Vinci... and they really do work. Now, it is known that Serapis was 'equipollent' with Pluto, or Hades,- the god of the Underworld,- that took Persephone from the world above for half of the year, due to an unfortunate wish for a pomegranate, evidently... here's Pluto now... Lolol... a dog... but that bow on 'his' head reminds me of another point that I should probably make here, as far as 'identification' goes; we have only our symbolism to make our identification with, but... that should be enough, if we look carefully, I think. It is definitely shown that, regardless of what might be under them, the figure of Serapis is always shown 'heavily draped',- or, in other words... covered. I think that it is a safe assumption to make, under the circumstances, that you will not find our 'Serapis' parading around in a pink thong... or whatever. Whereas other gods, and goddesses, may be shown to be lightly clothed, or even unclothed, this is not the case with Serapis. I can further assume that that would indicate some measure of dignity, as well as the further insinuation that this one cannot be 'penetrated', or 'seen' by men... in the same way that the Veil of Isis cannot be raised. Two quotations will further establish the relationship existing between the Mysteries of Serapis and those of other ancient peoples. The first is from Richard Payne Knight's Symbolical Language of Ancient Art and Mythology: "Hence Varro [in De Lingua Latina] says that Cœlum and Terra, that is universal mind and productive body, were the Great Gods of the Samothracian Mysteries; and the same as the Serapis and Isis of the later Ægyptians: the Taautos and Astarte of the Phœnicians, and the Saturn and Ops of the Latins." The second quotation is from Albert Pike's Morals and Dogma: "'Thee,' says Martianus Capella, in his hymn to the Sun, 'dwellers on the Nile adore as Serapis, and Memphis worships as Osiris: in the sacred rites of Persia thou art Mithras, in Phrygia, Atys, and Libya bows down to thee as Ammon, and Phœnician Byblos as Adonis; thus the whole world adores thee under different names.'"And from Mithras comes Ahura Mazda, and his 'brother', Ahriman... ...and they should bring to mind something else, I think. Well, how about some music...? There was some Great stuff on the X-Box... One more... They're really good... and by the way... Nobody actually does give a fuck... ...and they call it 'falling with style'. Right, 'Andy'? Page France and the 'Family Telephone'... I like that... Did you know that in the Tarot deck, the Page actually represents... the King's daughter. That just kind of figures... I'd like a happy ending. Oh, and hay... I found another one of those 'slim threads' that should help; it looks like a 'filament', actually. I probably picked it up somewhere near "Electric Avenue"... Hall tells us that "...the neophytes (initiates) who Survived the ordeals were ushered into the presence of Serapis, a noble and awe-inspiring figure illumined by unseen lights." These 'unseen lights' are mentioned in regard to almost all of the 'mystery rites', and they are specifically mentioned in connection with the appearance of 'Hermes Trismegistus' in certain other rites. Now, Hermes is interesting, too, but to begin with, let's just take this much, and compare it to what we have so far: The mystic figure, Thrice-Great Hermes, who may have represented three different teachers in the Illuminist tradition described as a very powerful ancient mage, not a god in his writings, collectively called the Corpus Hermeticum, Hermes describes himself as "Philosopher, Priest, and King" wrote the Emerald Tablet and taught Pythagoras, among other exploits
In his major work, 'The Sufis', Idries Shah states that "both the Sufis and the alchemists claim Hermes as an initiate of their craft." Many Sufis, including al-Farabi, Geber, and Roger Bacon, among others, were described as "Hermetic" or "Illuminist." www.lightparty.com/Spirituality/HermesTrismegistus.htmlAlchemists. Now, I have told you that the Brothers of the Rose Cross were/are known as 'Fire Alchemists', which is kind of... odd... for a 'spiritual order', as you conceive them to be. But this concerns 'Fire', as Light, through an 'electric' medium, and so, we might expect that if our Rosicrucians have a real 'connection' to this ancient 'Light', we will find some, somewhere. And I did. Here is the appropriate passage... lol... When the first of the Order died in England, it was decided that the burial places of the members should be secret. Soon afterward Father C.R.C. called the remaining six together, and it is supposed that then he prepared his own symbolic tomb. The Fama records that none of the Brothers alive at the time of its writing knew when Father C.R.C. died or where he was buried. His body was accidentally discovered 120 years after his death when one of the Brothers, who possessed considerable architectural skill, decided to make some alterations in the "House of the Holy Spirit." [It is only suspected that the tomb was in this building.]
While making his alterations, the Brother discovered a memorial tablet upon which were inscribed the names of the early members of the Order. This he decided to transfer to a more imposing chapel, for at that time no one knew in what country Father C.R.C. had died, this information having been concealed by the original members. In attempting to remove the memorial tablet, which was held in place by a large nail, some stones and plastering were broken from the wall, disclosing a door concealed in the masonry. The members of the Order immediately cleared away the rest of the débris and uncovered the entrance to a vault. Upon the door in large letters were the words: POST CXX ANNOS PATEBO. This, according to the mystic interpretation of the Brethren, meant, "In 120 years I shall come forth."
The following morning the door was opened and the members entered a vault with seven sides and seven corners, each side five feet broad and eight feet high. Although the sun never penetrated this tomb, it was brilliantly illuminated by a mysterious light in the ceiling. In the center was a circular altar, upon which were brass plates engraved with strange characters. In each of the seven sides was a small door which, upon being opened, revealed a number of boxes filled with books, secret instructions, and the supposedly lost arcanum of the Fraternity.
Upon moving the altar to one side a brass cover was disclosed. Lifting this revealed a body, presumedly that of C.R.C., which, although it had lain there 120 years, was as well preserved as though it had just been interred. It was ornamented and attired in the robes of the Order, and in one hand was clasped a mysterious parchment which, next to the Bible, was the most valued possession of the Society. After thoroughly investigating the contents of the secret chamber, the brass plate and altar were put back in place, the door of the vault was again sealed, and the Brothers went their respective ways, their spirits raised and their faith increased by the miraculous spectacle which they had beheld.-The Secret Teachings of All Ages Curious, about those small doors... nevertheless, it is the 'light' that we are concerned with right now. This means that CRC, at least, had the knowledge which would allow for the existence of these same 'lights' that were seen in the darkness of the 'tombs' and 'caverns' of those ancient brothers, and 'Illuminated Ones'. That thread still existed at that time... and I believe that somewhere, perhaps behind one of those very small doors, it still exists today. A 'key' would be Good... Or, maybe we can just rub the 'dusty old history' off of it... I might also mention that the mysterious 'Book M' has to do with our 'Ma'... and the knowledge that is associated with it. The fact that Solomon possessed this 'Book M' would tend to indicate (to me, at least) that he was also 'initiated' into these particular Mysteries of the Serapis; that, and the Labyrinth contained in his own Temple. There are shown to be the heads of golden calves on his throne, and the 'floor plan' follows exactly the plan by which the Egyptians laid out their temples... in the shape of the sacred 'M'. And then, there is this interesting 'tidbit'... A thumb-sized ivory pomegranate (which came to light in 1979) measuring 44 millimetres (1.7 in) in height, and bearing an ancient Hebrew inscription "Sacred donation for the priests in the House of YHVH", was believed to have adorned a sceptre used by the high priest in Solomon's Temple. It was considered the most important item of biblical antiquities in the Israel Museum's collection. However, in 2004, the Israel Antiquities Authority reported the inscription to be a forgery, though the ivory pomegranate itself was dated to the 14th or 13th century BCE.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon's_Temple For now, I suggest that we return to Egypt, and pick up where someone... 'left' off. For some reason, I really would like to have a grilled cheese sandwich... And hay... could we put a big 'Bud' in front of that? Just one... Temperance, and all...

How about a little bit of 'Magic'? These illustrations are from Eliphas Levi's work on the subject of 'magic', titled 'A History of Magic', or, "Histoire De La Magie"... Well, what do we have here? That looks like the 'Apprentice Pillar', and a Phoenix/Pelican, a rose, an acacia, and something very much like a 'maze'... And, this... well... it appears to be a 'mirror image' of the same figure,- certainly, a 'reversal', wouldn't you say? This is a 'blazing star', for sure... with points being made... Now, this is interesting, don't you think...? Another 'reversal', evidently... Here, the 'dark' figure that is in 'reversal' seems to have a fairly 'feminine' waistline... and this makes 'reasonable sense' in light of what we know about 'Serapis', so far... And, I should further point out that the figure is shown with long curling hair, and a beard. There is a description given of Wisdom, flowing like oil, from His 'beard', and again, in the 23rd Psalm, it is written,- Thou anointest my head with oil... Thou restorest my soul...And that is the Truth. Masonry preserves this 'truth'... Don't Fear the Reaper...And, like I always said,- "More cowbell..." Oh, and by the way... I expect that the "Beloved Wish-cow" of the Hindus is actually just the 'female' aspect of our Serapis... Something like this, maybe... 1975... the reversal of 1957, and both Master Number '22' years... I like the numbers... Work it, 'sister'... Lololol...

We'll get back to that... Something like getting 'back to the future'... I would prefer to lose my 'religion', in favor of the truth. And the truth is that a 'direct relationship' or 'direct connection' to this 'Force' that we know as 'God' that is most effective... of course. The first step in that direction is 'recognition' of things as they are, were, and therefore, will be, and then to work with those 'principles', which is 'scientific' in nature, and not religious. It becomes 'religious' when that scientific knowledge is placed within the hands of the priests, or the representatives of 'religion'. And this was likely done with the thought in mind that the best hands to place that knowledge in, was the hands of the men who should have understood 'God' the best... His/Its 'representatives'. But, this knowledge really is Power, because it commands all of the Power of Nature... for better or worse. And, the refore, it was 'doomed' to fall into the hands of the men who felt the need for Power,- for whatever 'reason', or motivation, that moved them to possess it. Those are judgments that it would be best not to make at this time, and allow the more 'supreme' power of Justice to apply itself to All of that; for now, it would suffice to know that these things have been done. There has been enough Time passed, I think, for you to see quite plainly the results of the 'mismanagement'... on so many levels. And it further seems to me that there is a place inside all of us, even just a tiny place, that 'knows' that this is all Wrong,- that we've 'lost the way', somehow. And in that place inside of me is an... urge... a 'desire', even... for something that is missing. Horribly, desperately missing... My spirit. These two figures describe the same two triangular figures as shown in the illustration above it. Triangular... like the shape of one of its 'stone coffins', I imagine... The Great Pyramid at Giza... one of the 'seven wonders' of the ancient world. I think I told you that they were referred to as 'themata',- which is, "things to be seen". Not as tourists, but as in 'the future'... 'things to be seen in the future'. Part of the Mystery... As a matter of fact, many of you should recognize a few things within this figure. This, I daresay, represents the mysterious 'Black Woman' of Shakespeare's sonnets, as well as the 'Black Madonna' figure, whose symbols are found throughout our history in diverse places; this represents the 'dark wife of God' that, if spoken of at all, is called 'Lilith', and she seems to be hanging, upside-down. There are definitely two figures, two 'seperate' triangular shapes, but they are placed in such position that they create a single 'diamond' shape... which is the 'traditional' stone chosen to represent the union of marriage, which they say also represents a most holy mystery,- the 'angels' it is written, are not 'given' in this manner, since it is another 'reflected parallel' of the Truths of Creation, in which they evidently do not participate, and it is one of the things that seperates us from them, as creatures... that, and the pain of 'seperation'. Only one face is 'shown', and it looks vaguely 'familiar', but the other is... occulted. Hidden. One identity is known, and the other is not. This must also be part of the Mystery... The 'Revelation'. And, shine on, you crazy diamond...
