About 'Original Sin'... a 'novel problem'

Much has been made of the issue of 'original sin' into which deplorable and insurmountable estate Man has been born, by 'default,' as it were... and nothing to be done about it. I've done a lot of wondering about that, myself, in direct opposition (it would seem) to the contradictory statement that we are 'wonderfully and fearfully made,' in the 'express image of our Father,' and just why an all-wise Creator/'God' would handicap any such creature from the outset by having been born with two strikes against it, as one would expect to be in a position of 'original sin.' I mean, that just doesn't seem fair... since we're then expected to 'overcome it' somehow, and since we can't... ever, by our own merits, at least... we must now accept the 'sacrifice' of another, 'better man' in our place, in order to escape the dire consequences of our innate insufficiencies, since we are 'guilty' by 'nature,' and unworthy of anything. Ever.
Right...?
I don't think so. I was reading a smallish book written by a Charles Wesley McCrossan, copyrighted in 1913, titled The Mind Science of Christ Jesus (I told you that I often cast our far and wide, didn't I? I do... and so should you...), in which the author remarked that:
The Scriptures teach us that he "was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin." Heb. 4:15. He was tempted (kata panta) according to all things, or in every respect like as we are (kata omoioteta). This Greek expression means, according to, or answering to likeness. His temptations were like ours, but not the same as ours. They were like our temptations, in that they came through the same channels as ours; yet without sin (choris amartias). This expression means apart from the idea of sin.
Christ Jesus could not have sinned for he was God...
I might amend that last sentence to say that he could not have sinned for he thought 'God,' which reflected itself in his living 'God'...
I mean to say by that, that he served as a channel for the 'Will' of 'God,' which cannot, by its very Nature, be 'sinful'... and that, as long as he (or you) operate within that Will, no action undertaken could be considered to be intrinsically 'sinful,' no matter what the action may seem to involve... the 'spirit' in which it is undertaken is 'righteous,' or 'without sin,'... or better said, the 'idea of sin.' Do you understand...? He was apart from the 'idea of sin,' in the same manner as the thoughts of children are 'apart from the idea of sin.' Innocent... sinless...
Nevertheless, Father, not my Will, but thy Will be done...
So, then, 'original sin' is that action which is generated by thought that originates within our own 'will,' and sense of self-direction, which triumphs over those actions which find their origin within the greater Will of 'God,' wherein there can be no 'sin,' or 'missing of the mark'... it is 'perfect,' because it is neither implicitly 'good' nor 'evil' in Nature, but simply True... 'Good' and 'evil' are the 'values' that are assigned to the directions in which thought is given form and consequence in the physical and spiritual realms, and have to do with you,- and not the ability to think, as represented here by 'God.'
Your 'sin' originated within your own minds, and your own hearts, and it is 'original' to you... so to speak... since, no matter how 'bad' it seems,- you can be fairly certain that somebody else has already thought of it... at least once.
The 'good news' is that it is possible, under those circumstances, for those other words to be True... be ye Perfect, even as your Father in heaven is Perfect. Change your thought... change your heart... change your Nature...
Be free from the 'idea' of 'sin'... and be free. In deed...
I think it really is that simple.
So much for your 'Goodie Two Shoes,' and by the way... I love that tune, too...
I feel like dancing...
Again...
