In the Gemara the shamir (Hebrew: שמיר) is a mythical worm or a substance that had the power to cut through or disintegrate stone, iron and diamond and in the myth, King Solomon used it in the building of the First Temple in Jerusalem in the place of cutting tools. For the building of the Temple, which promoted peace, it was inappropriate to use tools that could also cause war and bloodshed... Referenced throughout the Talmud and the Midrashim, the Shamir was reputed to have existed in the time of Moses. Moses reputedly used the Shamir to carve the Hoshen (Priestly breastplate) into the tablets of stone. King Solomon, aware of the existence of the Shamir, but unaware of its location, commissioned a search that turned up a "grain of Shamir the size of a barley-corn."
Solomon's artisans reputedly used the Shamir in the construction of Solomon's Temple. The material to be worked, whether stone, wood or metal, was affected by being "shown to the Shamir." Following this line of logic (anything that can be 'shown' something must have eyes to see), early Rabbinical scholars described the Shamir almost as a living being. Other early sources, however, describe it as a green stone. For storage, the Shamir was meant to have been always wrapped in wool and stored in a container made of lead; any other vessel would burst and disintegrate under the Shamir's gaze. The Shamir was said to have been either lost or had lost its potency (along with the "dripping of the honeycomb") by the time of the destruction of the First Temple at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar in 586 B.C. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon%27s_shamir So... Moses 'knew' the Shamir, it would seem. And it was used to 'engrave' the tablets of stone... to write the book, if you Will... well, well... and what do you know? The Shamir was 'lost,' but somebody knew where it was hidden... and the rumors of its 'death' have been greatly exaggereated, I'm sure... I want to point out also that last bit about the end of the 'dripping of the honeycomb...' We can find here, by complete serendipity, of course, yet another reference to our Masonic tracing board symbolism of the beehive, as well as the completely Merovingian symbolism of the golden bees. It is well known that Napoleon coveted the Merovingian bees to the point that he had them sewn onto his own coronation robe, I believe. He was a pretender, and a supplanter... if you previously read on another thread, posted at the Sanctum, that he took another 'symbol' (a head, I believe it was), and replaced it with his own 'symbol;' you see how that works? You take the 'symbols of power' belonging to another, and take them on as your own, hopefully taking also the power that was associated with them by their previous 'owner.' This works in many ways, magically speaking, as well as practically speaking... it is also the reason that certain cannibals 'eat' their enemies, or parts thereof... in order to 'take them into themselves,' or incorporate them into their own persons. Cheap, really... but somewhat effective, in the short-term. Thanks to another equally true natural law, it's 'live by sword, and die by the sword,' or maybe 'dog eat dog,' as well, so... it can't last. But, that isn't to say that it isn't, and hasn't been, tried... Amulets work that way... Read more: innerchamber.proboards.com/thread/646/worms-temple-building#ixzz2dQl69QsOAt this point, I think I would like to make a couple of additions to this particular thread, just to 'refresh your memory,' so to speak... this is actually an important point, this 'Shamir,' which is still in existence... somewhere... and I believe will be of 'prime' importance in the building of the Temple to come. I just highlighted one of the passages above, in order to point out to you that, according to sources, this 'Shamir' existed contemporaneously with Moses, and was 'known' by Solomon, but by his time, the 'Shamir' was buried somewhere 'out of reach, and yet... might still be found... and 'taken advantage of.' After all, it was procured by deceit, and gotten by having enlisted the aid of the 'King of the Demons,' or... the 'King of Hell,' if you will. You should be catching on to that by now, so... with that in mind... Look at this picture again, and compare it to the 'amulets' above... do you see what I see? Seven golden rays... or 'horns,' if you will... only, they're on another head... something 'wrapped in wool.' See what I mean? It just keeps getting better... And I have more to say on this subject, as well... Well, how do you like that? Baaaahahaha...

Psalm 22... these books of Psalms are quite precious, really. They speak of hope... and the future. At this time, I would like to point out that the second 'book' of Psalms, particularly, is loaded rather heavily with psalms addressed to the 'sons of Korah,' and these are all associated with 'David.' Let's go on to the psalm numbered 44: Redeem Us
1Unto the end, for the sons of Core, to give understanding. We have heard, O God, with our ears : our fathers have declared to us, The work, thou hast wrought in their days, and in the days of old.
2Thy hand destroyed the Gentiles, and thou plantedst them : thou didst afflict the people and cast them out.
3For they got not the possession of the land by their own sword : neither did their own arm save them. But thy right hand and thy arm, and the light of thy countenance : because thou wast pleased with them.
4Thou art thyself my king and my God, who commandest the saving of Jacob.
5Through thee we will push down our enemies with the horn : and through thy name we will despise them that rise up against us.
6For I will not trust in my bow : neither shall my sword save me.
7But thou hast saved us from them that afflict us : and hast put them to shame that hate us.
8In God shall we glory all the day long : and in thy name we will give praise for ever.
9But now thou hast cast us off, and put us to shame : and thou, O God, wilt not go out with our armies.
10Thou hast made us turn our back to our enemies : and they that hated us plundered for themselves.
11Thou hast given us up like sheep to be eaten : thou hast scattered us among the nations.
12Thou hast sold thy people for no price : and there was no reckoning in the exchange of them.
13Thou hast made us a reproach to our neighbours, a scoff and derision to them that are round about us.
14Thou hast made us a byword among the Gentiles : a shaking of the head among the people.
15All the day long my shame is before me : and the confusion of my face hath covered me,
16At the voice of him that reproacheth and detracteth me : at the face of the enemy and persecutor.
17All these things have come upon us, yet we have not forgotten thee : and we have not done wickedly in thy covenant.
18And our heart hath not turned back : neither hast thou turned aside our steps from thy way.
19For thou hast humbled us in the place of affliction : and the shadow of death hath covered us.
20If we have forgotten the name of our God, and if we have spread forth our hands to a strange god :
21Shall not God search out these things : for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. Because for thy sake we are killed all the day long : we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
22Shall not God search out these things : for he knoweth the secrets of the heart. Because for thy sake we are killed all the day long : we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
23Arise, why sleepest thou, O Lord? arise, and cast us not off to the end.
24Why turnest thou face away? and forgettest our want and our trouble?
25For our soul is humbled down to the dust : our belly cleaveth to the earth.
26Arise, O Lord, help us and redeem us for thy name's sake.
And so they were... cast down to the ground, as worms... But not forgotten. And certainly not gone...

Now, I want to continue our discussion here on this thread, with the small change in the subject line to: Worms and Pyramid-Building. Provocative, don't you think...? Lolol... and yet, entirely within the realm of Absolute Truth, I assure you. Quite magical, really... The reason that I wish to introduce this material here, is that the stones used to build Solomon's temple were, if you remember, to be 'cut without tools.' For this purpose, the 'shamir' had to be employed. Now, these 'shamir' have particular and peculiar symbolism associated with them, which I think we will find to be of importance in regard to the myths associated with, and the methods that I believe were actually used in, the building of the Pyramids. Truly 'scientific' processes, alchemical in Nature, and miraculous enough in production, that continue to 'defy' our best engineers... and our best explanations. They survive... and are revealed... through their symbolism. And, just as expected, the 'birth' of the first 'Great' Pyramid (of Zoser), the brain-child of the renowned Imhotep, could be described as the 'birth' of 'masonry'... in Truth. And to find our way there, we are going to have to trek the sands of dusty old history again, I'm afraid; it is most surely a case of getting ourselves 'back to the future.' Lol... Let's begin with this bit of information, taken from the book titled "The Pyramids," by Davidovitis and Morris: Stone vessels were sacred funerary objects, probably offering vessels. Pottery, whether made of stone or clay, symbolized the god Khnum, the Divine Potter. When hieroglyphic writing was invented, Khnum was represented by the vase symbol. Although unrecognized by Egyptologists, because they have been unaware of its existence, alchemical stonemaking was attributed to Khnum. Egyptology classifies Khnum as a significant early god. But the profound influence of Khnum's tradition is vastly underrated...
Khnum, the ram-headed, ram-horned... A 'creator.' We'll continue...

At this point, I would like to re-iterate a few earlier points made in reference to this 'Shamir,' and point out some of their 'correlations'...
The Shamir was said to have been either lost or had lost its potency (along with the "dripping of the honeycomb") by the time of the destruction of the First Temple at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar in 586 B.C.Now, firstly, it is supposed to represent a 'substance' that is capable of 'transforming' stone, under the right circumstances; I can think of a substance that is so used, and this particular substance is even used in comparison to 'men' in a passage of the New Testament... see if you can think of it. The 'Shamir' is also reputed to have been a 'living being,' so it is somewhat appropriate, then, that the analogy should apply in either case. This 'Shamir' existed at the same time as Moses, and Moses was 'acquainted' with it... thought-provoking, to say the least... and it is said that Moses even 'used' it,- which adds further weight to the argument that Moses was, himself, a 'magician,' and used what would be considered to be 'magical' (or at the very least, alchemical) means to secure his 'position.' It seems more than coincidental that these 'shamir' were 'lost,' or alternately, had 'lost their potency' at a point not far beyond the time at which Moses could be said to have taken over Jewish history (as well as the religion), and that when Solomon actually went searching for 'it/them,' he found one no bigger than a 'barley corn,'- which is, coincidentally, the exact description given of Ed Leedskalnin, the builder of the mysterious Coral Castle... Of course, the 'green stone' sounds familiar, but specifically in reference to the 'amulet' that I just showed you on another thread, featuring Jupiter Ammon... it is a beryl stone, the green variety of which is known as 'emerald;' and emeralds are significant to some one, in particular, according to the 'legends'... It was meant to be kept 'wrapped in wool,' like a ram...? Lamb...? Like Khnum, maybe...? And then, stored in a 'lead chest'... now, what do we know about lead chests? Let's ask our old friend Will Shakespeare, shall we? Always choose the contents of the lead chest... I think that's what he said... Yep... regardless that the 'lead' chests aren't nearly so 'attractive' or seemingly 'lucrative' as the gold and silver chests; but pardon me, I 'digress' in yet another personal rant... And how happy is my professor of 'Shakespeare' now, I wonder? I just tied old Will up with ancient alchemical secrets that 'built the pyramids'... do I get bonus points, sir? Lolol... With a wink and a nod to my favorite Professor,- thank you so much. You have a Wonderful Day... I'll certainly be thinking about you. All of you... Thanks to Youtube poster Top40 1965, with the David Bowie avatar... that looks like the Goblin King with a bald knob... so to speak.... Here...have a Wooly Bull(y)... watch it, now...

So... if your answer to the little 'riddle' above was "Salt," you are right, but in order to win the whole $64,000, you would need to 'come over a little more Pacific...' lolol... The correct answer is: Natron Salt. This salt was used in several of the most 'alchemical' of practices, including mummification... the 'preserving' of the human body for indefinite periods. There is a wealth of evidence in support of it, and I would most happily like to refer you to a website where you can read for yourself of the person whose book I found, most serendipitously, and have quoted from, briefly. Joseph Davidovits (born 1935) is a French materials scientist known for the invention of geopolymer chemistry. He posited that the blocks of the Great Pyramid are not carved stone but mostly a form of limestone concrete or man-made stone. He holds the Ordre National du Mérite, is the author and co-author of hundreds of scientific papers and conferences reports, and holds more than fifty patents.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_DavidovitsNow, this is all 'back to the future' at its very finest, I'd say... or, at least, we're headed in the right direction, I think... Set thyself waymarks, the way which thou didst go...www.geopolymer.org/archaeology/pyramids/are-pyramids-made-out-of-concrete-1His research is so excellent and thorough that there is no way that I could do it justice with quotes, even though I can't say enough just how exciting it is; I do wish that you would avail yourself of his work, and I think that you will be True-ly amazed and surprised, as I was ... It is all possible... and it is all Real. As in True. And if you ask me, that is really Good News. Maybe even a future... and a Hope. And you know what I say... As it is Written, so let it be.Can I get a witness...?

I would like to add to this thread, with a quote from the Zohar commentary on the book of Genesis, since we will be returning to that in another thread... but, in order to continue making 'connections' with these 'threads,' let's see if we can find one... or two... "Darkness was upon the face of the deep." The term darkness refers to the fire or light which, though of divine origin, existed like a nebulous dark cloud at the beginning of creation. "And the spirit of God proceeded from the lord of life and hovered or moved upon the face of the waters." (Gen. i. 2). After impregnating them with the breath of life, and causing them to become purified and fructified, then from out of the state of Tohu came forth a great and mighty wind that overthrew mountains and broke into pieces the rocks, similar in its effects to the sight beheld by the prophet Elijah, as it is written; "after the wind, an earthquake" (I. Kings xix. 12), that dispelled the darkness in which was the hidden and concealed fire that transformed the world from tohu into Bohu, and from a state of chaos made it receptive of seeds and germs of life. This is expressed in the words; "and after the fire a still small voice" (I. Kings xix., 12).This would seem to refer to the 'shamir' that I've referred to in this thread, as well as the quote given earlier regarding Zerubabbel and the mountain... Which places the 'shamir' squarely in the beginning... having evidently sprung from the 'face' of the 'waters'... We must be on the right track... I 'passed' on the version by Youtube poster 'GointosleepBIATCH,' just on principle... Meaningful protest... whatever...

Just a quick question... because I also like to 'play' the Devil's Advocate... I'm only asking in an 'academic' sort of a way, since I think I know the answer, but... It's definitely a worthwhile riddle... Why is there a Prison Gate located within the Temple? In the North... And a 'cheese' Gate... among other things... a Water Gate, say... lolol... Rabbins...? Rabbits...? Tricks are for Kids...
