The story is not about how the humans worked out a plan over the distance of time in a wild attempt to perhaps stop the destruction of most everything and also to perhaps steal or somehow grab power from the Creator. So hard to tell, the way mirrors and trick doors seem to be secreted everywhere these days..
it was - personal, in way that would effect everything.
sometimes there were places where the light had made it though a cracks in the walls and floors and - there he saw some stories from so long before; there he saved the world from the collapse of the skies, the loss of the air and pressure.
this is not one of those times.

there is loss of hope, of facing the evil of mankind - and now I consider a drastic way to end this conflict.
I have already withdrawn from intercession of anykind - as the science of frequencies, the military systems track my every move - but this does not seem to be enough. I shall silence this human form that I currently inhabit... better this than to let those that will use my ears to shape reality to their pleasing, which will eventually plunge all of humankind, forever into painful suffering and darkness from which the end will be the collapse of light, and that humankind will then forever perish...

Dearest Astraea... It is only now that I saw your entry here, at the end of the page... I confess that I read your message earlier, and began to formulate a reply, which I never sent, since I was still trying to think just what to say; I hope that I have not waited too long... maybe this entry was Providencial, after all. I hope so. I have suffered my own loss of hope, at times, for various reasons... mostly personal, I'm afraid, which was only too 'human' of me, as well as being rather vain and shortsighted; I also forget, sometimes, that this 'quest' upon which we are embarked, is not about 'me'... or you, I'm afraid. There is, absolutely, a point to all of this, Astraea; there are issues at stake. Issues of life and death, as you say, in your own way, and for myself, I do not... can not... disagree. And, for myself, Astraea (although you may not be like me... I daresay you are not, exactly, are you?), I can only honor my commitment to 'humanity' by refusing to exercise my own; for I find that above all things, humanity loves itself, and mankind is a lover of life. As a matter of fact, Astraea, mankind loves life to the point that they will actually kill for it. Perverse, don't you think? I do. I find, therefore, that in order to be most True to my humanity, I must give it up. Otherwise, I might also be tempted to 'kill' (so to speak, even) in order to secure 'life' (and at that, mostly our own)... which is a paradox, I'm afraid. And you know what they say, Astraea... I'm sorry D(ave), I can't let you do that...I wish to be more human than human, I'm afraid, Astraea... but it is no loss of hope, do you think? Actually, it may be my only hope... and your own. In fact, I would suggest that we drop our humanity immediately. Cease and desist, if you Will... Our 'God' is not a god of the dead, but of the living... so it is written, and so it is. He has no percentage, let's say, in our perishing... He does not wish for it. If I might seem to be 'used' at times, Astraea, I console myself with the thought that we are all only tools, after all, in the "Master's" hand... still, it is also a fact that some hoes are just sharper than others. And there you go. I'm glad that I saw your post tonight, and I do hope that somehow, somewhere, you can hear me... and that all is Well. I expect that it Will be... There is a cure for this Humanity, after all... and death doesn't count. Baahahahaha... And by the way, Astraea... did you see my new star? A star in the 'West'... Oh, brother.

But, speaking of the 'backwardness' of stuff (and other nonsense), let's speak of this, shall we...?
Theophilus Schweighardt's Speculum Sophicum Rhodostauroticum (the Mirror of the Wisdom of the Rose Cross) issued in 1618. (Schweighardt is apparently a pseudonym for Daniel Mogling). Some years ago I described this as the fourth Rosicrucian manifesto, really just to emphasise its importance in the sequence of Rosicrucian publications. The text clearly portrays the search for the Rosicrucian brotherhood as being an inner quest, and it contains three large engravings, one of which, the wheeled Castle of the Rosicrucians, which is everywhere and yet situated nowhere, has become especially well known. Even in its time this image was rather evocative and occasioned the playwright Ben Jonson, (who had earlier written a satirical play, the Alchemist, in 1611) to poke fun at the Rosicrucians in one of his court masques, the Fortunate Isles, of 1624,
"Know you not Outis? Then you know nobody: The good old hermit that was said to dwell Here in the forest without trees, that built The castle in the air where all the brethren Rhodostaurotic live. It flies with wings And runs on wheels, where Julian de Campis Holds out the brandished blade".
