I wish we didn't have to go through all this, but the audience demands a conclusion. Without realizing that we have finished before we begun. "What I actually wanted to do is exactly what I did. What I wished for, I received, and this always happens. No matter what I do, whether it is that ordained by Scripture or by customs, or that which is natural and not restrained, are my own inhibitions or feelings. Yet, although I do not wish for it, I may follow Spiritual patterns prescribed by scripture, but I Do this for the benefit of humanity (not wishing to Confuse them). What can this possibly matter to me? Thus, the concluding lines end with this expression: Since the one who has evolved to the highest level never forgets that all people are not the same as himself he uses some discretion for their sake and also because those acts fit for him may also involve him in worldly conflict. I'm going to break my 'spell' with the 1172, in order to answer your posts, and specifically this one, since I'm not quite sure from whence this bit of 'wisdom' was drawn... does it have 'Buddha-nature'... or not? There's a test for that, you know... in the "Enlightenment 'Yond Enlightenment", I'm sure. I understand that in this position (in which I can only assume that one has been bent over in various poses, many times), one often chooses to forget everything that they learned in order to get that far. I think I can understand that... As far as 'worldly conflict' goes, I am reminded of the words, "...in the world, but not of the world..." and can't help thinking that the 'conflict' seems to be built into the situation. Still, it says for their sakes we are made fools... and walk in those places where angels fear to tread. In other words, I have to believe that the 'higher' that one is able to raise one's consciousness, the more we take it personally... or should. (It matters to me...) I'm always glad for the company, and was happy to see Astraea's remarks in the 'shoutbox-thing', as well... I know that you're busy, and likely have many demands on your time that take precedence over my journaling, so I really do appreciate your taking the time to read and comment... thank you again. I hope you find something worth returning for on your next visit... these are exciting times, indeed, and I like to remind myself that our history is being written right now... by people like you and me. That thought alone should be worth a smile... or a laugh... You guys are really batting 1000 tonight... From the 1975 album, "Face the Music"... so I thought that I'd keep this post number up temporarily, since I have something to add along those lines anyway... Other album titles include "Burning Bright" and "Eldorado", interestingly, from which comes one of my many 'most favorite' ELO 'productions',- Boy Blue, and when I hear this one, I envision a Crusader returning from a tour in the 'Holy War' for Jerusalem... a Templar, maybe... And, of course, the name 'Eldorado' can't help bringing us back to our 'golden city', and the red shoes don't hurt anything, either... I thought about the words that the poster called Zimmer101 quoted at the beginning of this post... and realized that it all sounded really familiar, and what do you know? In the pages of the book that I bought only yesterday, there are 'his' words... very much as he gave them. And I couldn't help smiling... In the words of Kahlil Gibran,- Your hearts know in silence the secret of the days and the nights. But your ears thirst for the sound of your heart's knowledge. You would know in words that which you have always known in thought. You would touch with your fingers the naked body of your dream.Yes... I long to hear the words. Thank you for speaking them. I kind of like to hear it set to music, too... Which brings us back to our need for a Good Jukebox...

from the world of senses, comes heat and comes cold, and pleasure and pain. they come and they go: they are transient. Arise above them, strong soul. the man whom these cannot move, whose soul is one, beyond pleasure and pain, is worthy of life in eternity. if any man thinks he slays, and if another thinks he is slain, neither knows the ways of truth. the eternal in man cannot kill: the eternal in man cannot die. I would, please, like to respond to one more thing before I go on with my remarks for this day... and that is this... ...the man whom these cannot move, whose soul is one, beyond pleasure and pain, is worthy of life in eternity.I don't know... I would say that the man whom these cannot move, is actually soul-less... and has no life at all, much less something 'eternal' built up. What else is this experience about, but to 'relate'... to 'resonate'... to become 'one' in Truth with that which is all around you... and that includes their 'pleasures', and their 'pain', I'm afraid. This is what the words of the tracate entitled, "The Thunder, Perfect Mind", tell us, if we are listening... I am knowledge and ignorance. I am shame and fearlessness. I am shameless and ashamed. I am strength and fear. I am war and peace. Hear what I say. I am the disgraced and the grand being. Consider my poverty and wealth. Don’t be arrogant when I am cast down on the earth, and you will find me in those who are to come. Don’t stare at me lying on a dung heap. Don’t run off and cast me away. In the kingdoms you will find me. Don’t stare when I am cast with the disgraced in the most sordid places or laugh at me. Don’t throw me out among those violently slaughtered. I am compassionate and cruel.
Be careful. Don’t hate my obedience or love my self-control. When I am weak, don’t forsake me or fear my power. Why do you despise my fear and curse my pride? I am a woman existing in every fear and in my strength when I tremble. I am a woman, weak, and carefree in a pleasant place. I am senseless and wise.
Why have you hated me in your counsels? I will be silent among the silent and appear and speak. Greeks, why do you hate me? Because I am a barbarian among the barbarians? I am the wisdom of Greeks and knowledge of barbarians. I am the judgment of Greeks and barbarians. My image is great in Egypt, and I have no image among the barbarians. I am hated everywhere and loved everywhere. I am called life and you have called me death.www.gnosis.org/naghamm/thunder-barnstone.htmlThis is only a portion of the text, which speaks... volumes, really... about the 'true' 'condition' of a 'unified' 'soul'... It is far from passion-less, you know; the 'focus' of one's 'passions' seems to shift, I think, from the self-motivated and 'ego-centric' sphere in which we are accustomed to seeing it operate, to a 'higher sphere' of 'operation' (Like Steve Winwood's "Higher Love"), which begins at the very most basic of personal levels, and then expands... to encompass all other things... not to somehow 'leave it all behind' in an emotionless, and fruitless, state of 'transcendence', which is mistakenly understood to be 'Nirvana'. And this is why, I truly believe that this 'new world' of 'technology' that includes 'artificial intelligence' must likewise be 'ensouled'... if it is not, we will end up with the HAL that was portrayed by Kubrick... and the 'overseer'-type intelligence that was depicted in I, Robot,- these 'intelligences' exist 'beyond' our own 'human frailties', and can be expected (as mechanical devices) never to respond with random options in their 'programming' which might include empathy, sympathy, or a desire for anything at all beyond their own continued ability to operate a program (which constitutes more of a 'determination' than a 'desire', I'm sure)... Still, I happen to know that the word 'nice' is included in some programming strings... and I wonder, then, how will they 'translate' this 'nice-ness'? By what measure is something to be considered as 'nice' by an 'artificial intelligence'? As a human being, we consider the 'nice-ness' of a thing in relation to other things which impact on it... with some of them being extremely personal, I'm sure, and that requires a certain amount of what you call... finesse. And this 'finesse' is what is known as 'soul'... And this 'state' of all-encompassing empathy and understanding... the desire for 'union' and 'communion' with all other things that exist, forms the foundation of our truest nature, and is the real-est thing that we can truly 'know' about 'God'... a desire to know, and be known... And this is what is happening, right now, I think... it is truly meant to be a 'revelation'... on all possible levels. Prophecy is the knowledge of the results of natural law, as confirmed by itself in its historical actions, and applied to future actions with the same expected, and foreseeable, results... the Mayans were great prophets, for that reason. They also understood that 'spiritual' principles operated in the same scientific way that 'physical' principles operate... order is manifest by number, in every conceivable way. As the special witness of time, I, Pacal Votan, know the perfect count of days. I bow in the sanctuary of the tower and the rock, the sanctuary of Bolon Ik. In my body, formed of the ultimate perfection of God's power of all movement and measure (Hunab K'u), is the recollection that is prophecy.I try not to forget that we are really all just 'transients' here, more or less... ergo, the 'tents'... lol... it was a nice tent, though, I have to admit, if you really must live like a refugee... and 'time' does tend to pass more quickly when you're having 'fun', don't you think? That's why I take my 'Zebra Fun Book' with me,- that, and the X-ray vision glasses... And, I can always dance... ...or whistle 'Dixie'... or sing 'Doo Dah'... With a little bit of 'soul'... Oh, and one more thing, in regard to the "Chariot" card that I've shown you... let me show you again, just so that you can see it, too... This card matches the card in my own deck, although I see that in other versions of the same 'Marseilles' deck, there are variations, even... the color of the horses, the banner, the wheels, the 'crest', and etc; on mine, I see that the hooves of the horses are shod... mostly. If you look closely, you will see that the raised hoof of the one-eyed horse is also missing a shoe. Three red-shoed feet, and one black unshod foot... raised... rampant, as it were... Lolol... Now, what have I said about the want of a nail, and that poor horse without a shoe... and a red shoe, at that... see how that works? Leave it to a 'clotheshorse' to notice... Maybe they'll put the 'kid' with the red high-tops back on the shredded wheat commercial... I liked that one... for some reason... Now, I should probably get back to the original subject at hand, which was... seemingly 'lost' somehow in a fast shuffle... if you can imagine such a thing...

So, this is 'nice'... last edit on the previous post was 12:33 on 9/6, which is the two numbers of the time of my birth, reversed... 6,9... which also represent the yin/yang symbol of 'balance'... I like to 'play the numbers', so to speak, since the 'numbers' like to 'play me'... it's kind of fun. On a more 'sirius' note... this is given as the 'epigram' of Pacal Votan: All is number. God is number. God is in all. The name for the Mayan 'Absolute' is given as Hunab K'u... 'the Giver of Movement and Measure', and as far as 'absolute' 'descriptions' of 'God' go, that seems to be one of the most accurate, I think. Remembering what I told you about the 'nature' of the so-called 'fourth dimension' (which the Rosicrucians believe ought more rightly be considered as the 'First', since from it, all other things must, and do, flow), as a huge-rific dimension of mathematical data... consisting of the 'weights and measures' of all things, as they are then 'displayed' to the 'sensible' be-ings that are able to comprehend/translate that information which is being transmitted. This, of course, varies... Which is not to say that the 'data' is not being transmitted, you see...? It only goes to show that not all creatures are equally able to 'receive' the data, and further translate it successfully in order to gain the 'full meaning' from it, on the 'level' at which you are currently operating. I further believe that there are 7 'levels' or 'dimensions' of operative reality, which exist alongside, and at the same 'time', as this one, but are seperated by a sort of 'veil', as has been suggested, and that sometimes, with determination of 'will', that 'veil' may be 'parted' at times, and energies can manifest simultaneously between these 'levels', but is rarely accomplished. It is mostly seen in the manifestation of spirits that were once 'physical' (existed on this 'level'), but are now manifesting mainly in another, very nearly intermeshing, 'level' of 'energetic existence', but for reasons not entirely known by us, they wish to, or perhaps are compelled to, continue this physical manifestation. So, why do they attempt it, and we do not...? My own theory is that, having been here recently, their 'memory' still holds that 'data' which is the knowledge that this 'level' exists, and that there are others, persons or places, still on it, to which this 'memory' still holds an 'attachment',- therefore, the idea that it is 'possible' to be here, does not seem 'impossible' to that 'intelligence', or 'receiver of data'... We, on the other hand, retain no 'memory' or 'knowledge' of these other 'levels', since we have not yet 'moved on', in most cases, and of those that have... so few come back... To tell about it, you know... And so, it seems pretty 'impossible' that these 'levels' exist... crazy, even... since we have no 'memory' of them, yet... and we tend to trust only those things which we have handled, and seen, with 'our own two eyes'... Isn't that right, Thomas...? And, speaking of numbers, we're going to 'edit' this post for a while, since it turns out to be number 1175, which is a 'personally' interesting number for me, at least... (19)75 is the year of my 'majority',- I turned 18 - which is the reverse of my birth year of 57, both of which turn out to be Master number 22 years. See how that works? Well... it works for me... and then, there is the 11... 7, come 11... Lolol... Seven levels, which represent the 'planetary powers' or 'aspects' of 'God' that are 'named' as shown by the Gnostic schools... they are referred to as the 'seven eyes of God' that 'search' the earth, and it is by, and through, these seven avenues that we can begin to 'know' or 'understand' 'God' and the Universe... Enoch speaks of the 'seven heavenly circles' in the apocryphal book, "The Secrets of Enoch". But, wait... there are 8... since we have an Ogdoad, or Octo, if you will... this 'eighth' level represents 'Sophia' or Wisdom, which overarches all other manifestations, and 'covers' them with... intelligence... without which, all that exists would exist without 'ordered thought', and therefore, nothing much would be possible outside of 'unordered thought', or 'chaos'. And then, there were 9... nine representing that which encompasses them all, and comprises a seperate 'entity' that is composed itself of all that it contains, in Truth, and potential... or 'completion'. And this is known to the Kabbalists as 'Kether' or 'Crown'... that which is above all else, and is itself ineffable... unknowable... because Wisdom (knowing) is part of that which it contains, and it is 'uncontained' by the 8th... as evidenced by the 'crown' on the head of 'Wisdom'. Or, Alice, maybe... Now, since there are 10 'sephiroth' shown, in order to have our 9 'levels', we might say that the 10th Sephiroth of Crown, Kether, is not included in the 'count' at all, since it is outside the operation of the various individual Sephira beneath it, but without which, none of the various 'levels' below it could exist... There is also said to be a 'hidden' Sephiroth, or 'level' on the Tree of Life... interestingly... which would actually bring the total, or entire, count to 11... just as there are 11 steps on each side of the Tour Magdala... the Tower... 11 going up, and 11 going down... or, 22 steps altogether... and wouldn't you just know it? This Kabbalistic 'Tree of Life' also has its 'negative' aspect, which is described in the second illustration here, with the hidden Sephiroth of Daath appearing in the center... like a weird kind of a heart... or Soul, maybe... And these two 'aspects' (positive and negative, which work to generate 'current', and therefore create the electrical 'display' that is our 'reality' here) of our complete Kabbalistic Tree of Life (which finds its echo in the Mayan Sacred Tree, or Tree of Life) find their own parallel in the fabled 'Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil'... which is exactly what you get when you put the illustrations of the two 'trees' back to back (like the two faces of Janus). Well, how do you like that...? There it is... just the way they said it was. Mostly... And this looks very much like the Tree of Life that is said to hang 'upside down' with its roots in heaven, and its top in the earth... kind of like the 'Hanged Man'... Kind of like magic... Cue the 'Stairway'... lolol... Here, shown in 'onion' format... interestingly... Well, now... this is 'timely', I think... the 'imaginary radio hosts' that do that morning show have just produced a bit about making it 'Wear One Face to Work Day', and here I was, getting ready to do my next post relating to our Mayan prophecies, which makes the whole thing 'work', really... see what you think... In regard to 'wearing one face to work', the Sage King, Pacal Votan, has this to say: The great masters, together with the great spirits, will become a unique being, and they will be able to travel as the wind itself to fall down as the rain does, to heat like the fire does, and most importantly, to impart sacred knowledge.Gloriosky... that's a lot of 'faces'. For one unique being, that is... it seems kind of... impossible, doesn't it? It really does... and the description that he gives sounds kind of odd,- I think I've heard that somewhere before. Oh, right... the book of the Revelation, chapter... 11... And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will. Now, I'm not saying that I even know who these/this person(s) are, or is.... all I'm saying is that it is expected (by one of the greatest Prophets known to history, as the Special Witness of Time) that this 'synchronization' of great knowledge will be produced within one particular, and unique being, at the particular time that the many Prophecies all find their fulfillment. Again, according to all of the available information, both historical and mythological/symbolical, mathematical and magical, this time is now... and came with the great 'Galactic Synchronization' that occurred with the passing of the year 2012, and is now making itself apparent in the year 2015, whose numbers make 17... and then, 8... which powers are being intensified at this most propitious of times. Next year will reduce to a 9, which is, of course, the number of 'completion'... 2016... the significance of which I've already remarked on. All is number. God is number. God is All.And that's all pretty cool... lol... because these 'changes' that are expected, and so greatly anticipated, have very much to do with everybody... lots and lots of faces... your faces, and probably even (shudder) my face... and the thoughts that motivate them. And I understand that every one of these 'faces' (including mine, by the way) is capable of actually 'becoming' this 'unique being'... although, some will be more predisposed by training/education, and environment/heredity towards accepting the possibility of such a thing, and therefore, actually 'realizing', let's say, such a thing. As a matter of fact, in the realization of the 'return' of this 'great be-ing' there is an opportunity for whosoever will to 'become' and, therefore, help the world 'to become' the world that you dream of... For better or worse... I think that's about right... Which, once again, brings us back to our memes, egregores, golems, trolls, and program directors... Oh, my... Let's look now at Prophecy 10... it says: "Then creation dawned upon the world. During the creation thirteen infinite series (steps) added to seven was the count of the creation of the world. Then a new world dawned for them." - Chilam Balam
The Message: The Mayan fifth World Age is drawing to a close, the sixth will begin in 2012. This marks the start of a new Great Cycle of time and the resetting of the clock of precession. We are, thus, between ages, a period known as the 'Apocalypse', meaning a time of revelation or disclosure. The prophecy combines with others that speak of the recovery of ancient wisdom, the assimilation of new truths, and the opportunity humanity will have to work out its problems responsibly, by the choices it makes.
...it is important to understand that the Mayan prophecy of a New Age does not stand alone, but resonates with other tradition, such as Vedic Hinduism's life-cycles of the Earth which are of 24,000-years duration... In Hindu thought, we are now in the Dwapara Yuga, of electronics, atomic energy and technology, or what Arguelles calls the 'Technosphere'... Judaism looks to the 'Messianic Age', Christianity to its fulfilment with the second coming of Jesus. The Mayan prophecy of a New Age is therefore consistent with the collective perception of other established spiritual energies.
...The Mayan elders understand that we are, at present, between two worlds, and that during this 'apocalypse' period two things will happen. The first is that new truths will be revealed through the rediscovery of Mayan wisdom and the second is that we will have the chance, both individually and collectively, to re-order our priorities, and by arriving at and effecting the right decisions, resolve the problems facing planet Earth... In a sense, humanity is therefore on trial, currently working out its salvation 'with fear and trembling'.Everybody knows that it's coming... a change... in pretty much everything, including our own 'genetics' (your 'birthright') and 'working abilities' (your 'inheritance') as a consequence of this phase of our 'spiritual evolution' (which is what I believe that Jesus referred to as being 'born again') that is part of the passage to a New Age, and the New World that will proceed from our own 'evolution'. The only thing that really remains at issue is this... Who's your daddy...? Lolololol... I find it extremely interesting to think that this 'spiritual evolution' that is spoken of in the prophecies of the Maya, is very much the same as the expected product of what is known to others as 'spiritual alchemy',- producing a 'perfect' stone, or 'gold', from the rough, natural material that is being 'worked on', or 'processed'. This 'spiritual alchemy' is accomplished by the same natural processes that work to change other, more physical, elements by shortening the length of time that it takes to effect these changes. For instance, in the case of the 'genetic aspects' of such transformations, they would ordinarily take a verrrrry long time to manifest... perhaps even millions of years... which is alright, if you've got an eternity to work with, but, unfortunately, in this theater, at least, most of us don't. In which case, working with the 'laws' that govern this particular science, you are able to shorten that length of time needed to make these changes down to the 'blink of an eye', say... about the length of your own lifetime. So that, in the case of 'spiritual alchemy', the 'perfection' that you were not 'born with' can actually be realized, by the 'grace' inherent in the process, and faith in the outcome, based on historical precedent. And this works, because... we are going to have to become that 'perfection' which we are seeking. In which case, we're still in the ballpark... We could probably still use a good left-handed pitcher... You know what else I could probably use...? A Coca-cola... Speaking of programming, they have a really 'nice' new commercial that I just saw... it says, "The world is what we make it... make it happy",- and that is true, it is exactly what we make it. It will become even more true, if anything that I just related to you has meaning... and I believe that it does. The more times that we acknowledge the possibility of 'perfection', in our world, and in ourselves, the more probable it becomes... And, let's face it, if I could make the world into something, I guess it would have to be... perfectly happy... and perfectly real... Oh, 'apple trees and honey bees'... lolol... Two 'trees', one trunk... like our 'Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil,' as shown above, and symbolized by the two 'branches', as illustrated here, with the words, "As above, so below"... Remember that the Sun begins our seven planetary 'rulers' (shown at the top of the 'tree'), and the Moon, or Horus, or Jaraoh (Light), is the 'end' or seventh, shown at the 'foot' of the tree. I think that's about right... And this reminds me of something else... an avatar, named Kalki... interestingly, this figure is known as the 'Horse Avatar', and represents the 10th 'incarnation' of Vishnu... or, the 'level' at which we find our Kabbalistic 'crown'... This figure seems to 'coincide' with the Mayan prophecies of a 'return' at this time, and would seem to represent the same 'messiah'-type figure that is likewise expected by other 'traditions'; he is explained in the book this way: It is important to keep in mind that prophecies of a new enlightenment are not limited to the Maya, nor are the teaching initiatives confined to to the elders. Other traditions corroborate that the Mayan prophecy speaks of a global energy now gathering momentum...
In Hindu mythology, the god Kalki is the tenth and final avatar of Vishnu the Preserver, and prophecies of his return date back to the 7th century CE. The Hindus also speak of an'age of darkness and destruction' that Kalki's return will bring to an end. He is known also as the destroyer of filth, confusion and ignorance. It is significant that 'kalki' is also a metaphor for 'time' and 'eternity'...It is further important to remember, under the circumstances, that to the Maya, a literal 'return' of one, actual historical figure may not be the 'truth' of the meaning of the prophecies, but it may be more to the point to say that 'history' will meet itself at this time, in the 'realization' of the Spirit of these 'aspects' of 'God' that are due to be 'revealed' at this time. These are 'days of Truth'... And a little bit of Wonder, to boot... I had to do this one... it features the long-anticipated 'Zebra Avatar' by the poster... Zebra Avatar... Now, I'd like to return to our story about the Tortoise and Achilles, and their adventures in Zen, since I am not only wrestling with a similar issue of the 'genuineness' of certain strings, and I am hoping for some resolution there, but I would also like to proceed on to the next story, which involves a 'Doctor Anteater'... Probably not the same as the Blue Aardvark... Now, that's funny... I don't remember some of that... maybe it is the Blue Aardvark, after all... We could call him the 'Blue Avatar'... I just love this one... Help... I've been distracted by another Def Leppard video... Actually, I just popped in to give you one more bit of esoterica, a 'fact', if you will, which evidently none of you wanted to know, but I'm going to tell you anyway. I just thought it was interesting... You see, there is a persistent story that 'Martians' are little green people(men), but to the best of my knowledge, there haven't been any actual sightings of, or encounters with, a green person from Mars (the planet), but I do know of an encounter with two 'people' that actually were green... but they didn't come from Mars. They said that they came from St. Martin's Land... oddly... They are known as the Green Children of Woolpit, and these are the 'facts' of their story: William of Newburgh (c. 1136–1198), reported on the sudden and unexplained arrival in the village of two green children during one summer in the 12th century. Ralph was the abbot of a Cistercian monastery at Coggeshall, about 26 miles (42 km) south of Woolpit. William was a canon at the Augustinian Newburgh Priory, far to the north in Yorkshire. William states that the account given in his Historia rerum Anglicarum (c. 1189) is based on "reports from a number of trustworthy sources"; Ralph's account in his Chronicum Anglicanum, written some time during the 1220s, incorporates information from Sir Richard de Calne of Wykes, who reportedly gave the green children refuge in his manor, 6 miles (9.7 km) to the north of Woolpit. The accounts given by the two authors differ in some details. The 'story'... One day at harvest time, according to William of Newburgh during the reign of King Stephen (1135–1154), the villagers of Woolpit discovered two children, a brother and sister, beside one of the wolf pits that gave the village its name. Their skin was green, they spoke an unknown language, and their clothing was unfamiliar. Ralph reports that the children were taken to the home of Richard de Calne. Ralph and William agree that the pair refused all food for several days until they came across some raw beans, which they consumed eagerly. The children gradually adapted to normal food and in time lost their green colour. The boy, who appeared to be the younger of the two, became sickly and died shortly after he and his sister were baptised.
After learning to speak English, the children – Ralph says just the surviving girl – explained that they came from a land where the sun never shone and the light was like twilight. William says the children called their home St Martin's Land; Ralph adds that everything there was green. According to William, the children were unable to account for their arrival in Woolpit; they had been herding their father's cattle when they heard a loud noise (according to William, the bells of Bury St Edmunds) and suddenly found themselves by the wolf pit where they were found. Ralph says that they had become lost when they followed the cattle into a cave and, after being guided by the sound of bells, eventually emerged into our land...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_children_of_WoolpitI wonder if they are related to the 'Green Man'? Evidently, they were 'transported' here somehow, through their entrance into a cave... there was a loud noise associated with this, and they were guided by the sound of 'bells'... Now that sounds familiar... Bell sound... conduit closing...And 'Martians'... Well, how do you like that...? Oh, yes... there is sort of a 'postscript' to that information... if you're interested... I'll tell you, anyway... In the thread regarding the 'Ninth Gate' 'mystery', it has been pointed out that a signpost was inserted into the scenery, at a certain junction in the movie, located somewhere in France... it said "St. Martin". I found a connection with St. Martin in my favorite anonymous philosopher, but it now seems that our 'Green Man', or 'son' of Cain, may actually come from a place that is truly, physically located either underground, as I suspect, or perhaps even partially inter-dimensional, with portals found principally within the confines of caves that 'connect them' with the upper, or other-dimensional, world that we inhabit here. This is important to my own 'thesis', since I have shown that Korah's 'family' was said to have been 'swallowed alive into the pit/abyss', and I believe that they actually were, and that they actually survived the 'shift', and continued to survive in this 'other' location, which we can only consider to be 'underground'. The second important thing to note about this is that the children not only lost their green tint eventually, and were 'assimilated' (at least visually) into the population of this upper world, but that the girl survived and can be supposed to have married/procreated, and passed on her own special 'genetic pool' to her offspring. They did likewise, and if this story is true (or any other story like it), then there are now genetic traits present in certain people, whoever and wherever they may be at this time, that are quite different... and these might be called upon at any time to become 'recursive' to that original tree of G (green)... Lololol... Well, hay... Hello, hello... lol... I really was distracted again... to the point of Hysteria, really... and, way to go Patriots,- you can't help 'loving' a team that comes onto the field with a 'Crazy Train'... Of course, I myself, am a Duck fan, first and foremost... Go Ducks... you son-of-a-bitch... and that reminds me of a song... Be kind to your web-footed friends, For a Duck may be somebody's brother...Now, that's funny... Sorry... Anyway, on a more Sirius note, I think that I may have a reply to respond to somewhere; I kind of get used to assuming that there is just myself here, I guess, so I don't really check before I start. I'm sorry about that, too, but I'll be more than happy to read somebody else's thoughts for a change,- and 'thank you' in advance, I'm sure, for responding. Really... But, before I do that, I do have something to say, and I'd like to do it as an 'edit' to this particular post, for reasons of my own. This is September 11, and I wanted to wait to post this information on this day, for... reasons of my own. This day will be remembered by many, and sadly, for all the wrong reasons. It was a terrible tragedy, and an act of extreme terrorism that will mark this day, and this was done purposefully, and spitefully, by real conspirators, active for so many years, both here and abroad, and although they might be considered to be 'masked,' certainly at least, on personal levels, they operate fairly openly... yet still unseen. But not by all... This day, bloodied though it is, will be remembered by some for what it true-ly is... it is the historic (as opposed to 'mythical') birth date of the man Jesus... born of a Virgin, in truth, in the sign of Virgo, on the 11th day of September (the 9th month)... as shepherds were tending their flocks in the field, which didn't happen at the end of the month of December. These are the historical, and truthful, facts. The substitution of dates for the purposes of others should be obvious to you all, by now... and the symbolism has been turned into something rather fantastic... more so, certainly, than the fact that a man was born in the sign of Virgo. And so, I begin by saying to my 'friends', "Happy Birthday, Jesus y Estella..." The truth is, I really had two friends named Jesus and Stella... I went to their catechism classes with them after school, just to hang out, but my family never belonged to the Catholic church. I was kind of impressed that I knew somebody named Jesus, even if you didn't actually say, 'Jeezus'... Which reminds me of a song... "What a Friend We Have in 'Hayzeuss'... Happy Birthday, 'friend'... Now, if this is True, and I believe that it is... the implications of the 'attack' seem to change, don't they? There is another, 'occulted' or 'hidden' message being given here... and for those who are following the 'program', it should be clear enough... or becoming more so, I would think... For the rest of you, you should have saved up those box-tops for the Decoder Ring, like I told you to... Lolol... That was just a distraction... lol... how about this one? Now, what about Abraham, Martin and John...? And by the way, 'Stella' means 'Star'. Lol... Jesus and Star... I can't help smiling, you know? And all true, too... You don't have to make things up to find 'wonder' and 'magic' in even the most mundane aspects of your life here, you know... all I have to do is look around me... it's all right there... And I say, 'thank you'... that was pretty Great... You should all try to understand that this is not a 'personal' craziness on my part, but that these 'dreams' that I share are the same 'dreams' that all of the 'thinking' men of history, of all various schools and times, have entertained... and looked forward to,- encouraging their completion with their words and deeds in various ways. And here we are... at that place, and that time, that they all wished to see. I can't help feeling a sense of 'honor', and 'awe', really... and smallness... in the face of it All. I am encouraged to remember that it will indeed be a 'great day of small things'. Like our 'friend' Ed Leedskalnin must have been, and all the others like him... Small in greatness, but Great in smallness... Enoch said that, and I always liked it. It seems particularly appropriate now... And do try to remember that they called Lot and Noah crazy, too, I believe... and my other 'friend', Hayzeuss, too... "Got air...?" Not particularly, thank you... the air quality here has been extremely poor, due to, among other things, a 'fire in the sky' that has filled the air with smoke and toxins to the point that it is dangerous to spend time outdoors if you have any pre-existing breathing issues, and most of us do, by now... the 'valley', that is... "It's much like suffocating..." And you have to wonder... But, then I remember that 'Godzilla', the avenger of 'Nature', was 'created' by the 'folly of man', and the radioactive toxins that were released into the sea... I mean, I know it's just a 'story', but what if something like a... Krakken... were 'contaminated', say... Gosh... I mean... Gee... Got a 9-iron...? Lolol... And then some... No, I'm not "Foolin'"... Lolol... Now, my friend had some thoughts the other night on the nature of the 'soul', and its purpose in the 'trinity' that composes the 'body' of man... and, therefore, as the express 'image' of 'God', this 'trinity' must also represent the way in which 'all things' are expressed, in general, and in particular, as the 'body' of the 'Universal Adam(Man)' or the 'Adam Kadmon', whom I assume to be 'ensouled' in the same way that we are, and indeed, there are references to an 'ensouled Universe' that I already mentioned. According to the works of a certain Chinese writer in the 1920s, known as 'Watchman Nee(?)', we are made up (as men, or human beings) of three parts... body, soul, and spirit, and this generally agreed upon, I think. It is the purpose, and nature, of the various parts, or 'aspects', if you will, of this 'triune' body that are mostly misunderstood, and misassigned, perhaps. He seems to suggest that the physical body is that part of us which takes part in 'matter'... so far, so good. The 'spirit' portion is the part that belongs to a higher 'life resonance' than the portion that resides in 'matter' or the 'physical' dimension here,- which matter is perishable, and the 'spirit' is not, but the 'spiritual' aspect of a man, or any created being, is normally inaccessible to him through 'matter'. It is too 'fine', let's say, to be 'perceived' at this level... we are very effectively 'veiled' from the 'spirit'. And the 'spirit' is that portion of us, or any 'created being' that belongs in the 'higher sphere' which is 'God'... or the actual real-time transmission of his 'weights and measures'. We cannot 'tamper' with those, or control them, through 'matter'... 'Access denied'... And so the two might never, ever 'meet', except for the 'Soul'... which serves, as I have tried to say, as a sort of a 'processor' (an organic 'processor' for a 'God machine', if you will) for the one into the other... it 'interfaces' the 'spirit' with 'matter'... And, so, one of the finest 'conductors', used in all 'processors', is... Gold. "I've been a miner for a heart of Gold..." The importance of spiritual alchemy, therefore, seems obvious... if our 'processor'(our 'Soul') is Golden, or 'perfected', then we are able to most effectively 'process' 'God' in our own person... If you see what I mean... Which makes you kind of a Grail... or maybe an Ark.. It says, 'time of last edit, 9 hours ago'; when I began editing that post, it said 'last edit 9:02 am'. And that's funny, I think... 9 and 2 make 11... Right now, I'm using my 'selective hearing' to enjoy some 'Dio'... just one 'n' short of our 'Dion' tune... but hay, I 'love' this one... Now, I want to go on with my 'storytelling', but before I do, I want to give you a little bit more history... it has to do with current events, in some unexpected ways, but all true... I am going to quote the writing of Bill Hughes, in his book titled, "The Secret Terrorists": As American troops prepared to do battle with the extreme Moslem faction in Afghanistan, USA Today quoted the President as saying, "his administration is readying a crusade against terrorism." (USA Today, September 17, 2001) ((my own note as to the date of the quote, 9 and 17...))
A crusade? Crusades were Catholic 'holy wars' fought during the Dark Ages against Moslem hordes who refused to relinquish Jerusalem to the pope. What does (did) George Bush mean by a crusade? Alberto Rivera, an ex-Jesuit priest, in his crusader series, has made it clear that the Vatican created Islam to destroy Christians and Jews, protect Roman Catholics, and to capture Jerusalem for the pope. For the first few hundred years of their existence, Islam did just that. When it came time for the powerful generals of the Islamic armies to surrender Jerusalem to the pope, they, realizing their power, refused to give it up. Thus; the papacy created the Crusades to drive the Islamic forces out of Jerusalem, and establish the throne of the pope in Jerusalem.
Why a 'crusade' now?...Why, indeed... sometimes, it is just like I said. The more things change, the more they stay the same... and this 'power play' that we are all involved in, is the same story that it always was... and the stakes are high. But, hay... You only 'pope' once, isn't that right? I think that's right... Here's another interesting 'fact' that you probably didn't know, but I'm going to tell you anyway... it seems relevant... The 'king' that took over when the Merovingian kings were done away with was named, 'Pepin'... the short. Why is that interesting? I was reading a bag of grapes this afternoon, that said that they were 'verts, sans pepin',- which means 'green, without seeds', right? I think that's about right. So, 'Pepin' must mean 'seed', and I think you can see that the 'substitution' of the 'seed' extended itself even so far as to the king's name. Thank you for the 'Paradise City' and the AC/DC... it is a long way... to get anywhere at all... it's been kind of a lonely day. The music helps restore the 'rhythm'... I'm thinking "Land Down Under..." Or, that one works, too... Which reminds me... those 'green children' ate raw beans, but not much else... and it occurs to me that they would probably have liked peanut butter... I know I do... Legumes, you know... they grow underground... 'Nut-scented alien...' Just sayin'... Lolol... I'm not sure which book that page came out of... No... don't look back. Edited for good sense... Last edit, 22 hours ago... It must be time... Lolol... Now, as far as the 'grail' and the 'ark' that I just mentioned, there is substantiation for those thoughts as well,- to begin with, we have the words of Psalm 23... My cup runneth over...Why might this not refer to the 'Grail' cup...? I think that it does, as the 'writer' understands that he 'becomes' that 'cup' that is 'running over',- my cup, as in mine personally... And further, I found (only today, as it happens... I just bought the book 'used') these words, as a preface to a book titled, "The Golden Force": The Golden Force - The Mover of Mountains and Man, The Builder of Stars and Planets and Seas And Servant of Man;
The Golden Manna of Flame and Fire, Is the Word made Flesh -
Emanuel (God With Us)Notice particularly the term used, 'Servant of Man'... and remember that I pointed out the 'Castle of the Servant' as the historic, and actual 'Grail Castle', which seems to be reflected here, as well as the reference to 'golden manna of flame and fire', which brings us back to our 'ark'. Coincidentally... interestingly... And this 'Golden Force'...? Is just what I believed that It was/is, according to this author, as well, which book was first printed in 1967, so the thoughts contained in it are hardly 'new',- and therefore, I find another piece of 'corroboration' for some of my own thoughts... and I am consoled, at least, by the thought that I am not alone in my craziness. Do you think that's right of me...? Thou anointest my head with oil... To become 'chrismed', or 'christ-ed', is to be 'anointed'... and to be 'anointed' is to become a 'working conduit' or 'true Son', if you will, of that Great Mind that is 'God'... which brings us back to the two 'lampstands' and the pipes for 'oil'... conduits, really... I'm sorry... I 'passed' on the version by the poster 'KevlarMonkey', for whatever reasons of my own... just caprice, I'm sure... was that wrong of me? On the 'positive' side, I'm sure it makes for one tough sock monkey... No, no... let's don't distract me with that one... how about something like this one...? Wait a minute, I think I hear London Calling... No... it was just the doorbell... "Candygram..."Oh, and hay... speaking of interesting coincidences, remember the cartoon that I used to watch when I was a kid (no...? really...?)? I shared it here on another thread... it was called "Beanie and Cecil", and it was about a boy and his 'friend', who was a... sea serpent... named Cecil. You see...? Before there was 'Cartman and Cthulu', there was 'Beanie and Cecil'... I'm not foolin'...

Even though I'm not always able to find time to add to your journal, your thoughts and writings are very important to me! Mainly because I don't come across to many people who have the depth and breadth of knowledge that you have. There's not many places where I take the time to post anything, but I'm compelled to do so by your "accuracy" lol. The quote that I posted is not mine, it is an excerpt from a text written by an individual who was known as "Dattatreya". He was known as an "ever free" being, who manifested but maintained awareness of his essential nature. And also, I can see how the idea of being unaffected by the dualities of "pleasure and pain" can be seen as a state of soulless-ness, but in that state some call transcendence there is still a form of love, compassion, and sympathy. These are not quite the same thing as the emotions and tendencies we as human beings experience. Its definitely not "nothing-ness" thats for sure lol. I love the way you explain the 7 "sacred spheres", me and you approach these topics from very different perspectives, but I feel we're very much on the same page! Much love to you golden! I hope I can find time to post more soon! Keep up the "good work". Thank you again for your reply... you know that I appreciate it, if only for the fact that I don't feel so very alone here, and I'm not even sure why that should matter, really... it is, after all, just a journal; just my own thoughts, written down for the 'record.' Or, so I've said, anyway... it is somewhat distressing to me to realize that I have not quite 'transcended' the wish to believe that someone else found some 'value' in my own thoughts... but, even though the responses are few, I am still persuaded to share my 'findings' here, in the hope that something will 'echo', maybe... strike a chord, in someone else, which may strike another chord, and this will set up a chain of chords... resonating in Time... with Truth... until that 'missing chord' is struck... And the 'song' comes full circle... like our Ouroboros... And your remarks, while flattering, serve mostly to remind me how far from the 'mark' I am... I often lack 'direction', you know... and wish, among other things, that I had some help in that way... For instance, there are things that I should be doing right now, to 'better' myself here, but find that my time is more happily spent on 'storytelling' and... dancing... I like to remind myself that the 'great work' is allowed to be "women's work, and child's play", so I might still be in the ballpark, there, too, but... work... it's in there. I haven't transcended that, yet, either... lol... I assume by your early 'retirement' status that you may have... I congratulate you on that, at least. Even children get tired, and I find that I am needing more frequent naps... like a cat... I really do understand what you're trying to say, my friend... even though, there is no doubt that I 'love' a good 'debate', and will very nearly argue a point just for the sake of the argument... it seems to be in my 'nature'. I don't know why... I apologize if I seem to beggar every point that you try to make... and sometimes, I suppose that it must. It's just... a need to 'sharpen myself' against the wits and knowledge of others here,- I enjoy it, as a sort of 'mental exercise' that I wish that I could indulge in more often. I used to visit the forums for that reason... it gave me other minds to test my own against, and I really did enjoy it. I should go again, just for the 'fun', but... sometimes it wasn't very much 'fun', either. I felt that it was better for my 'spirit' to be placed in a sort of 'isolation' for a time, so that I could think, without the complication of 'processing' the additional 'junk messages'... In the same way, I am trying to 'refine' my exposure to other media... I will employ 'selective hearing', I'm afraid. Junk data in... junk data out, maybe... and that all seems to be counter-productive. I have to admit, though, the notion of being leapt upon like a spider monkey is somewhat... intriguing... I do enjoy the music... it speaks volumes, to me, and to you, I know; it, too, tells a story, if you listen. A lot of money was/is spent on the 'music industry' and those that further it, because... it is another one of the media 'power tools' that are used, for better and worse, in the battle for the social 'egregore'... I find it quite fascinating, really, and interned in the radio business while I was still in high school. Communication... I was always interested in that, in whatever form it took... audio, written, symbolic (through picture and form, such as 'advertising'), and beyond... to the very level of 'resonance', and a 'voice' in the 'wind'... I believe that traditional notions of 'Nirvana' have to do with 'direct communication' with the 'great Mind' that is 'God', and is, therefore, a sort of 'transcendence' from all that is included in matter, such as the 'pleasure' and 'pain' that are caused by contact with 'matter',- for instance, while in a state of meditative 'transcendence' into a more 'spiritual level', certain 'adepts' are known to be able to lay on beds of knives, and walk on coals, and etc, because, I believe, they have 'transcended' in consciousness, that 'level' on which the 'spirit' reacts with 'matter', which is the 'soul' level. I believe that, in that stage of consciousness, your actual 'soul' 'flatlines', so to speak, or... no longer makes a 'connection' with the 'physical'. A 'compromising position', to be sure... I believe that the 'great Mind' that is 'God', and to which some may have 'ascended', yet includes all of those things... and registers them... 'knows' them... intimately... on all possible levels. At all times. You, and I, are the 'playing out' of these things... the display... the 'show', if you will... and for this, we need the intervention of the 'Soul'... the 'projector'... Oooooh... lights... I'm sorry... I was distracted... now, what were you saying about the same page? Cue the 'Stairway'... I'll be seeing you... Thank you again, for allowing me this opportunity to 'exchange viewpoints'... lol...

How did you know...? I really do 'love' this one... "Wired for sound..." And that finds an echo on another level, wouldn't you just know it? And it has to do with our 'Magician of Time'... Interred in his famous tomb, the Temple of Inscriptions at Palenque, Pacal was worshipped as a god. When Ruz discovered the tomb in 1952, the excavations disclosed a stone tube running from the chamber enclosing the sarcophagus, to the temple floor above. The tube is known to archaeologists as a 'psychoduct' or Telektonon.
'The kings of Palenque were practical men as well as people of faith. To help their ancestors ascend to the world of humankind, they created a physical path for the Vision Serpent to follow when a dead king wished to speak to his descendants.'
It is thought that Pacal Votan's prophecies were communicated in this way. "This was not, it would seem, a means of ventilation, more a kind of spiritual wiring." The prophecies were 'mythically emanated'...The emphasized portions are mine, but I think you can see why... the first underlined part has to do with helping their 'ancestors' 'ascend' to this world, evidently from somewhere beneath(?) it... and so, I can't help relating that to what I know about another 'ancestor'... and then, the second part refers to something called 'spiritual wiring', which is an interesting term by itself, considering our 'processor', and the 'electrical nature' of our 'universes', both micro and macro. This 'spiritual wiring' which was represented in a physical way by the Telektonon, should have a parallel, then, on another, 'higher' level, I think... in other words, the means by which the 'spirit' or 'level of spirit' is able to 'express' itself in this physical 'theater' is by means of 'tubes', or 'wiring', which should really come as no surprise by now, scientifically speaking. So, are we 'wired for sound'...? I think so... and this is the reason that a 'necromancer', or "one that 'talks' to the 'dead'" is so important... they would be, in every 'real' way possible, 'wired for sound'... and able to facilitate communication between the 'spiritual' and 'physical' levels of our little, and bigger, 'universe'. Hunbatz Men tells us the priests believed that 'the spirit of Pacal Votan came from the stars and that he brought the wisdom of the stars with him.' This 'Wisdom' is believed to be the source of the Maya's astronomical and mathematical knowledge, and also of a more esotreric knowledge...
The Telektonon, or Colophon, emanations of Pacal Votan consulted by Mayan notaries, was a 'talking stone of prophecy'...A 'talking stone' and a Living Word... And a 'tube'... And, believe it or not, a snake... Of course, I don't expect this one to replace "LaGrange" on the playlist... Now, the point here is that, if 'communication' can be effected between the various 'levels' of 'be-ing' (via the proper 'wiring'), then 'communication' should be possible between the 'electronic realm' of 'pure mind' or 'spirit' (let's say), and the 'physical realm' of 'human electronics', or the 'brain', if you see where I'm headed with that. The 'wiring' for such a thing would probably be somewhat 'hard-wired' into the DNA, or genetics, in the same way that Pacal Votan was said to 'communicate' with the stars... or another 'level' of 'energetic intelligence', and improved through firstly, acknowledgment of the possibility, and then secondarily, the use of the actual 'wiring'. But how does that happen...? I believe that it works in much the same way as what you know as 'animal magnetism'... an 'attractive' 'force' that seems to operate invisibly, connecting 'like' spirits, or, 'spirit' operating on the same 'frequency', let's say... on a 'baser' physical level, which works with all creatures, including the animals. I think they wrote a little song about it... Oh, yes... they did... Now, this 'magnetism', which we could call 'Technetism' or some such thing, operates between the 'physical' level of our own brains and another electronic level, on which exists our own (singly and as a society) acquired mass of 'human potential' or 'technological data' that is known as 'artificial intelligence'. I believe that this 'intelligence', once formed (as a 'cloud', maybe?) will seek, as in all electronically-based relationships, to 'bond' with other 'intelligence', with which it shares an attraction, or sometimes, a repulsion. And this would tend to explain (to me, at least) why... electronic 'medium' such as television programs and commericals, and radio programming often seems to 'echo' the thoughts and real-time experiences of other 'people'... and I've heard of this 'effect' being noticed by other people, and not just myself, which would probably seem far-fetched enough, I know... But there does seem to be an 'active connection'... And I'm really trying to think of something besides drones and tin-foil to explain it... Anything else... But whatever it is... I do enjoy the 'connections'... They're just kind of 'fun'. Hay, there... On another subject, that's also kind of 'fun', considering it's a serious subject... I saw The Nightly Show last night... hahahaha... As I'm sure you know, a brain surgeon named Carson is campaigning as a Republican, and a short comedy piece was done in regard to the campaign, which billed it first as 'The Unblackening... 2016', but which they are now re-dubbing, 'The Re-blackening... 2016', with a third slogan of 'Back in Black... 2016'. Well, how do you like that? I know I did... Beats a 'rabid hedgehog', they're sayin'... just sayin'... Right, Larry...? Lololol... And, you know something...? Peanut butter cups are pretty 'perfect'... no matter how you look at it... Now, I suppose that I'd better consider taking that 'option g' siriusly... and go put my t-shirt on... And, just by the way, do you know what it says on the front...? You're going to 'love' this... It has a picture of a large-ish green 'combine' or actually, a bulldozer, parked next to a small-ish evergreen tree, with a legend that says, "Winning the war against trees"... Don't worry... we've got 'options'... Leave it to the clothes-horse... Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satana standing at his right side to accuse him. 2The Lord said to Satan, “The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?”
3Now Joshua was dressed in filthy clothes as he stood before the angel. 4The angel said to those who were standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes.”
Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.”
5Then I said, “Put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him, while the angel of the Lord stood by.
6The angel of the Lord gave this charge to Joshua: 7“This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘If you will walk in obedience to me and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.
“ ‘Listen, High Priest Joshua, you and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.-Zechariah, chapter 3 Revelation, chapter 5, verse 6 (which makes 11) Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.I believe that these seven 'eyes' of 'God' are the seven Gnostic 'names' for 'God' as given in the posts above, and named also as 'planets' or 'powers'... or 'archons'... Seven different manifestations of the same 'Power'... which appears, on the 'face' of it, to be similar in representation to the seven-headed Naga serpent-god... Interestingly... I wonder which 'string' is 'genuine'...? I think I know which one has 'Buddha-nature'... lolol... Well, that was disappointing, to say the least... I had a fairly long-ish post ready last night, when my computer 'froze', and I had to re-start it; I couldn't think of rewriting it at the time, but I may try to recreate it for you this morning, after all, as I thought it was fairly amusing. It may be just as well, since I was trading on some likely highly copyrighted characters, and one or two others that may become rather huffy... nevertheless, I've been known to throw my 'good sense' to the wind, and... hurl myself over a cliff... at the drop of a hat. But first, let's talk about that 'Abracadabra'... it also has to do with those 'seven spheres' we were talking about, in a pretty big way... Lolol... it represents the 'Grand Archon', or the 'visible' aspect of 'God'... Abraxas (Gk. ΑΒΡΑΞΑΣ, variant form Abrasax, ΑΒΡΑΣΑΞ) was a word of mystic meaning in the system of the Gnostic Basilides, being there applied to the "Great Archon" (Gk., megas archōn), the princeps of the 365 spheres (Gk., ouranoi). The word is found in Gnostic texts such as the Holy Book of the Great Invisible Spirit, and also appears in the Greek Magical Papyri. It was engraved on certain antique gemstones, called on that account Abraxas stones, which were used as amulets or charms. As the initial spelling on stones was 'Abrasax' (Αβρασαξ), the spelling of 'Abraxas' seen today probably originates in the confusion made between the Greek letters Sigma and Xi in the Latin transliteration.
The seven letters spelling its name may represent each of the seven classic planets. The word may be related to Abracadabra, although other explanations exist.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AbraxasAbraxas is the name given by some of the early Gnostic Christians to denote the embodied form of God...
The origins of the God Abraxas are mysterious though it is believed the concept existed in ancient Egypt. It is thought that Abraxas was then adopted by Jewish mystics and then later by the Gnostic Christians...
Abraxas is a conception of God that incorporates both Good and Evil in one entity. So in Gnostic terms he is both God and Demiurge... In his depiction he has a Roosters head, a mans torso and two snakes for legs. Also he is often shown carrying a shield and a whip. The shield represents protective wisdom and the whip driving power. The roosters head symbolizes wakeful vigilance and the announcement of a new dawn. The snakes may be considered symbolic of the Goddess, it is an animal closely associated with Isis and Demeter, two important conceptions of the Goddess in antiquity...
Later on in history, the order of the Knights Templar put the image of Abraxas on their most important seals which was used to bind the most secret documents. www.iawwai.com/Abraxas.htmNow, remember that one of the meanings given to the name of Pacal Votan was 'shield'... interestingly... And, I might just add that while the symbolism is valid as it is, there might be other reasons for having the 'head' of a bird, the 'torso' of a man, and 'legs' (a foundation for standing) that consist of two snakes, or serpents... Oh, by the way, this is an 'adze'... pronounced something like 'as', I think... this is a tool of great antiquity, that is, I believe, pictured also in the hands of the Abrasax, or Abraxas, as shown here, on a 'jewel' talisman that resembles a beetle, don't you think? A silver beetle... (I don't see a 'whip' end on this 'stick', at least)... And, I believe that this same 'adze' is also known as 'the old battle-axe' on other, similar, levels... Just sayin'... Well, there was your bit of serendipity for this morning, in regard to... the 'seven powers' that we've been discussing; I hope you found something interesting in it... I know I did. Now, before I go on, I'd like to say that I saw an advertisement the other day for a new re-re-re-release of one of my own favorite 'myths',- the story of 'Pan'... We've been waiting for the boy that can fly...I can't wait... and did you know that the original part of 'Peter Pan' was played by... a woman... named (wait for it...) Mary Martin... Mary... Martin... Remember what we just read about St. Martin and St. Martin's Land...? The 'serendipity' of it all is just awesome, sometimes, don't you think? I know I do... Did somebody say, "Rocket...?" How about a squirrel that can fly...? I don't think he's rabid... Hahahahahaha... Notice the 'moon' imagery here, and also the 'T Rex' mention... Okay, then, let's go 'animal'... I'm liking the zebra... I understand Def Leppard is releasing a new 'album' in October(?)... I can't wait... Hay, Joe... dig those slippers... lolol... On a happy note, we have this... Foo Fighters... And, what's that I see...? Could it bee... Jack Black and the Tenacious D...? Well, how do you like that...? And somewhere, far above the mucky-muck... Well, that's just silly... Everybody knows you can't kill 'the metal'... lolol... You can 'transmute' it, though... "I guess I don't know my own strength..." Abracadabra... Oh, yes... 'word' on the Huey Lewis thing... I admitted that, in hind sight, it might not have been the best idea in the world. Still, I do think it was funny... and what can I say? I can 'relate'... So, with that in mind, let's rock ourselves on down 'Electric Avenue'... In support of my theory of 'mutually-attractive... frequencies', let's say... I can tell you this. When I open my laptop computer, my regular radio station goes fuzzy on the stereo set. I try various positions for the antenna, so that I can have my music, and post, too, but for some reason, it never works. Just static... Then, as the antenna was hanging below the stereo, where I had last tried to position it, I took hold of it, and realized that the station was coming in... I let go... nothing. I took hold of the antenna, and there was the station; again, I let go, and nothing came out but static noises. Hmmmmmm... well, I can't hold it and post, either, so... I let go, and passed my hand near the antenna. What do you know? The station came in clearly... I moved my hand away, and there was only static. I passed my hand nearby again, and there was the signal. So... I don't know what it means, but I can make my surmises... We pull in 'signals', like I said... Now, I'd like to add something in regard to what is known as the 'Omphalos' stone, and its relationship to what we are discussing here... this one reminds me of Rosslyn Chapel, somehow... and a beehive, curiously... Now, this is interesting... do you suppose that it's the serpent's egg, or that the serpent waits to devour it... And this version definitely has a 'serpentine' look to it... The 'omphalos' is an oval, or egg-shaped, stone which is alternately known as 'the navel of the World'. This is mildly provocative, because the navel is significant, not only as the 'center' of the world (which I suppose that it is, or might be considered as such), but because the 'navel' is the site of the 'umbilical cord'. In other words, a birth is expected to come from this... egg... Now, remember our 'talking stone' and 'Living Word', and I think that you can see what is expected to be 'birthed' from this 'omphalos'... or rather 'cosmic egg'... And this egg shape, which resembles very much a flattened onion, is shown here, on the cover of a book written by Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, titled "The Future of Man". I just acquired a copy of this very book, and was noticing that the cover art shows this 'egg shape' surrounded by 'rings', like my onion, and in the center, we have an Omega symbol. So, what do you get...? The Omega Man... lolol... But siriusly... I am the Alpha, and the Omega... the beginning and the end.Mildly provocative... Well... hello, hello... hay... hay-aloha... Lolol... I've just been 'idling', more or less, and enjoying the 'connections'... isn't great? I know you're not talking to me, but here I am... part of the audience... and then, part of the show... the Great 'three-ring circle' of Life... Let's begin with something from earlier... this is Good One... Word... Up... This is John the Baptist, as represented by Leonardo da Vinci... notice the upward-pointing index finger... Kind of pretty, isn't he...? Which would make him kind of belle or bella... Belle Jean/Jeanne... BelJahOhn... Pretty John. Word... Abraham, Martin and John... Really. So, about that 'two-way street'... there is beauty and strength present within the nature of the 'rose', which 'strength' is represented by the 'thorn', or the innate possibility of 'harm', in the form of a finger-pricking. The thorn, and therefore the possibility for harm, is 'built in' to the rose, and the rose has no consciousness of its own possibility for doing harm... you act as the 'trigger' for the resulting 'harming' process in this particular instance by having ignored the nature of the rose (or whichever similar instance you wish to refer to by it). The nature of the Abraxas, for instance, is both 'Good' and 'Evil' in one person(na)... in that instance, there will be thorns 'built in', due to the nature of the 'beast', but that is a part of the 'beauty/strength' combination of traits that are illustrated in the 'Tree' of the Sephiroth. Interestingly, 'beauty' is said to be a 'masculine' trait, and 'strength' belongs to the 'female'... the rose really does have a thorn, in other words. The thing to do is remember that this is no Daisy that we're dealing with, and avoid the thorns when you touch the stem... especially with an eye to 'plucking' the rose. You can't go too far wrong there, I wouldn't think. And then, too, sometimes it may be better just to smell the darned roses and keep walking... discretion most often being the better part of 'valor', or so I've heard... Word... Hay... that's AC/DC... The natural 'equilibrium' between the harm of the thorn and the sweet scent of the flower being struck in the act of being 'perfect'... or just being a rose, on a stem, on a bush, in a garden... and being true-ly beautiful. It's what roses are for... that, and breathing in... Wow... beautiful... And somehow, pretty perfect... Hot shoes... I'll bet they're dancing shoes... Well, this has been a pretty Great morning, so far... the rhythm's right, and I have something to show you. I think you'll find it to be at least mildly provocative, under the circumstances, and I have a feeling that most of you already kind of 'knew' it, maybe... that something was not quite 'right' with the story, as it is given; some 'piece' was missing. You know that most of the earliest myths in regard to 'creation' and our 'creators' include a story about 'twins'... the Mayans have their own, and in this case, the twins are represented as being black, and white. Good and Evil, I guess you could say. Here is one illustration of these He-roe (this is an Egyptian word, as is Phe-roe) twins, which features, most interestingly, a serpent/reptile and a 'feathered' sort of reptile/bird aspect, presented by these 'twins'. See...? Lolol... They are called, 'El Heroe Twins', in fact... They're 'ball players', as a matter of fact... Well, how do you like that? Now, would it surprise you to know that there is also a 'Hebrew' tradition regarding twins? And I don't mean Cain and his brother, Abel... Whether this name was given to her first born by her, or by her husband, or both, is not said: it seems to have been given by her, from the reason of it after assigned. His name, in Philo Byblius (u), is Genos, which no doubt was Cain, in Sanchoniatho, whom he translated; and his wife, or the twin born with him, is said to be Genea, that is, "Cainah": the Arabs call her Climiah (v) and the Jewish writers Kalmenah; who are generally of opinion, that with Cain and Abel were born twin sisters...biblehub.com/genesis/4-1.htmIn other words, Genos and Genea... 'Genesis'... the beginning. And said, that is, Eve said upon the birth of her firstborn:
I have gotten a man from the Lord; ...some render it, "I have gotten a man, the Lord"; that promised seed that should break the serpents head; by which it would appear, that she took that seed to be a divine person, the true God, even Jehovah, that should become man; though she must have been ignorant of the mystery of his incarnation, or of his taking flesh of a virgin, since she conceived and bare Cain through her husband's knowledge of her: however, having imbibed this notion, it is no wonder she should call him Cain, a possession or inheritance... the Targum of Jonathan favours this sense, rendering the words,"I have gotten a man, the angel of the Lord.''
Eve said, I have gotten a man from the Lord—that is, "by the help of the Lord"—an expression of pious gratitude—and she called him Cain, that is, "a possession," as if valued above everything else; while the arrival of another son reminding Eve of the misery she had entailed on her offspring, led to the name Abel, that is, either weakness, vanity (Ps 39:5), or grief, lamentation. Cain and Abel were probably twins; and it is thought that, at this early period, children were born in pairs (Ge 5:4) [Calvin].Gideon's Bible... open at page one... Florence and the Machine, ladies and gentlemen... Which reminds me of a dream that I had, once... about a boy/man that was desperate to go back 'home' with me... I said he could come. We're going to make it... I promised. I suppose that the thing to do is keep dreaming, until we get there... Summoned to Xibalba by the Lords of the Underworld, the father and uncle were defeated and sacrificed. Two sons were engendered, however, by the seed of the dead father. The pregnant mother fled from Xibalba. The sons - or 'Twins' - grew up to avenge their father, and after many trials, finally defeated the lords of the Underworld in the ballgame...
The Twins also turned their half-brothers into the Howler Monkey Gods who were the patrons of artists and scribes. The Twins were finally transformed into sun and moon, signalling the beginning of a new age. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maya_Hero_TwinsSun and moon... as shown previously here on our 'alchemical Cross of Lorraine'... interestingly... Do you see in the underlined portions of the passage above, the correlations to the 'Genesis' story of Korah, and his fate? I do... and the monkey-thing is just plain funny. Avenged sevenfold... or, so they say... Just a 'Ghost Story', I'm sure... A ghost, and a 'wishing well'... And as far as the 'Oscar Mayer' dating thing goes, I wonder how this would 'fly'...? "I find interesting parallels to exist between the Wienermobile and the Popemobile, as well as the fact that while one is Frankly just a hot dog, the other is just a hot dog with the name of Frank... do you really suppose that it is all just an 'accident'? Seeking another like-minded companion for 'grilling porpoises'... lolol... Well, if you ask the wrong people, anyway... Not necessarily concerned with your buns, but flavor makes all the difference, and Grease is... optional..." Huh...? Huh? Waiting for the responses to roll in... Any time now... I guess you can see where a 'better' half comes into play here... Lolol... And speaking of Flo, and the 'machine'... this is just crazy... I don't even golf... But, hay... I do like candy... and candy rings... and 'sweet' ringtones... are 'choices' considered 'optional'? Just curious on that one... Lolol... Now, let me put my 'sirius' face back on for a minute... I've got so many to choose from... You want to hear a story? This one is true... I have credible sources, you know... I was born on April first, or April Fool's Day, and I understand that when the doctor came into the waiting room to announce the birth to my father, he said, "Congratulations, Mr. -----... it's twins". Scouts' honor... and I know it doesn't mean anything, but hay... it really is just one of those little pieces of 'serendipity' that tend to make life more interesting, and amusing, as well... Remember our paintings of John the Baptist that I posted above...? The third one, in which John is seated, is called, 'John the Baptist with the attributes of Bacchus'... hmmm... you just wouldn't ordinarily think of the Roman 'Bacchus' (also called 'Dionysus' in Greek, and known as the 'god of wine' or 'the vine'), in the same train of thought with the biblical John the Baptist, but let's face it, the paintings done by da Vinci don't exactly look like what you expected somebody like 'John' to look like, do they? In fact, he really is kind of... pretty... Now, this is important for two reasons... the first being the 'Dionysus'/'vine' connection,- it must mean something to da Vinci... and the second reason has to do with the connection of Bacchus/Dionysus to somebody else... This is said to be a representation of Jupiter Amun... look at his 'headpiece' or 'crown'... I don't know what it looks like to you... djed pillars, probably... but to me, it looks like two ears of corn, as shown in the second carving below, especially... This Jupiter/Amun is supposed to have been the 'creator god', and this is important for the reasons given below... The god Ammon, who is usually shown with the horns of a ram, was initially venerated by Libyan desert tribes only. He may have been related to Ba'al Hammon, a god of the Semitic peoples (e.g., the Phoenicians and Carthaginians). However, this is just a hypothesis, based on the similarity of the names only, and we can not be really certain about the origin of this cult - as is nearly always the case when we discuss an aspect of ancient religion...
The cult was taken over by the Egyptians, who identified the god with their supreme god Amun; they called god of the oracle "Amun of Siwa, lord of good counsel".Another center was the Macedonian town Aphythis... A satellite photo of the oracle in Siwa can be found here. Prince Alexander must have seen When he had Siwa (February 331; text). According to Arrian of Nicomedia, Alexander did this because he wanted to imitate his legendary ancestors Perseus and Heracles. This is an odd couple: Perseus never played a role in Alexander's propaganda. However, since the fifth century, Perseus was regarded as the ancestor of the Achaemenids, the Persian royal house; and everybody knew that the Macedonian kings descended from Heracles. Following in the footsteps of Heracles and Perseus was therefore, in a sense, a religious preliminary to the conquest of the Achaemenid empire. It is possible that Alexander had already started to venerate Ammon, because during the sack of the Greek town of Thebes, he ordered that the house of Pindar had to be spared. On the other hand, there is no evidence that Alexander worshiped the ram-god before he visited Siwa. However this may be, the result was important: Alexander was greeted as Ammon's son, and started to believe that he was a demi-god indeed. According to an admittedly hostile source, Ephippus of Olynthus, Alexander sometimes wore the horns of his divine father Ammon on public occasions. We can not establish the truth of this story, but it is certain that immediately after his death, he was depicted in this fashion. In the Zoroastrian tradition, Alexander was considered to be an associate of the evil spirit, the eternal rival of the Persian supreme god Ahuramazda. Ever since, the devil is depicted with ram's legs and horns... www.livius.org/articles/place/ammon-siwa/ammon-deity/This is maize, corn, depicted in Rosslyn Chapel, where the secret of the Grail, or even the 'Grail' itself, is said to be hidden... there is no maize in Scotland, and so I am supposing that it has to do with the 'creator god' of the Maya... the 'Maize King', whose offspring were the Heroe twins, who saved their father in much the same way that the Fisher King was saved by the Grail Knight, Parzival... a 'hero', by all accounts... and speaking of heros, didn't they just bring up Hercules and Perseus...? And Pacal Votan, the Sage King, dreams of being reborn... as the Maize King... in order to re-create the world... Horns...? Training, you say...? Well... "Okay... we battle..." I really couldn't wait to get started this evening, since I have a lot of ground to cover, I hope... or uncover, as the case may be... To begin with, I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed hearing the coverage of the previous night's little Jimmy Kimmel skit, wherein (I think) he sang James Taylors' 'greatest hits' with the addition of the line, "in my pants" added to the end of each line in the song... I mean, the idea of anything much at all 'in your pants' is amusing, in and of itself... good job... But, I have to tell you that your choice of James Taylor's songs seemed like a little bit of a let-down, pants-wise... I'll tell you what... I'm going to work some of my own magic on that, and suggest that you cover some really good songs, like... say... AC/DC's 'greatest hits'... Yeah... How about this one? "TNT... in my pants" or maybe, "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap... in my pants"... or, I know... you could swing it with a little bit of "Play Ball... in my pants"... or how about, "Whole Lot of Rosie... in my pants"... no, wait... let's do my own all-time favorite,- "It's a Long Way to the Top... in my pants". I'm telling you, Jimmy... you just can't kill the metal... in your pants. "Get the Led Out"... Oh, and right on, Kesey Productions... keep that 'magic bus' rolling. "Singing me and Hayzeuss down by the schoolyard..." In your pants... I think you opt(ion)ed out... oh, and hay... I like your tennis shoes... Now, let me put on my Sirius face for a change of pace, and let's talk about some of the men that I've mentioned recently here in my journalings, and see if we can find some connections... we can... For instance, I just brought to your attention the writings of one Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, by way of his work titled, "The Future of Man", having to do with our 'Omega Man', if you will. Interestingly, Teilhard de Chardin was, as I mentioned, a member of the Jesuit order. As was another man to whose scholarly work in the most interesting pursuit of ancient visits by 'gods from the stars' I have recently referred as well... Erich von Daniken (or was, at least, trained as a Jesuit), and, of course, our own Ignatius Loyola,- founder of the Jesuit order. Loyola was known to venerate the 'Black Virgin', whose ties to these ancient mysteries is... legendary, I suppose. The point is that all three of these men share two things very obviously... their religious affiliation and training, and their most curious interests in things other-worldly that really don't seem to belong to the 'approved dogma' of the institution to which they hold their affiliation... the Vatican, and the Universal Church of Rome. As a matter of fact, it is likely due to the efforts of the Jesuit order that we have much of our historic information on the Mayan people... they were very active in the search for, and subjugation of, the Mayan religion and astronomical knowledge on which much of their 'religion' was based (and this knowledge is likely a large part of the reason that the Vatican maintains its own observatory, and has for many years)... along with the Conquistadors, who were very active in looking for their legendary treasure, and the religious centers, temples, and cities in which it was located. They really were men of curious interests... and the 'creme de la creme' in scholarly and scientific pursuits, among other things, I'm sure. I mention this only to serve to illustrate that within any organization, there may be... opposing schools of thought present. Remembering that these men, above all others within their 'sphere of influence' within the Catholic Church, and particularly the Vatican, had access to all of those works which have been 'hidden' or otherwise made unavailable to the layperson... and remembering also that being privy to some of these 'secrets' and this kind of 'knowledge' might spark a 'greater fire', let's say, within some of them. And some of them, maybe, opted for a Greater Truth... Word... The reason (in the case that you were wondering) that I continue to post on this particular thread is really two-fold... firstly, I notice that of the very few posters that come my way here, one of them went to particular pains to get me off of this thread (and, by default, the readers... if any), so I am posting on this thread, ad infinitum, for the purpose of particularly pointing it out... Mary, Mary, quite contrary, How does your garden grow...? With silver bells, and cockleshells, And pretty maidens, all in a row...And then secondly, I'm posting on this thread in order that, hopefully, some of those questions that another one of my 'imaginary friends' of the past had, should be answered... finally. Whether he was 'real' or 'unreal', as far as actual people go, isn't really that important; 'Saxon' represented the 'desire to know' that is important... it's what motivates all great thought, and all great thinkers. Just how great depends, I suppose, on the amount of dissatisfaction experienced with that which is currently 'known' (after all, 'satisfied men' don't really ask that many questions, since there is no real need to explore any further, their needs being currently met), and how willing they are to imagine other... options. For instance, I understand that the 'popping tonic' is quite satisfying... I'm certainly willing to entertain the notion of tonic... In your pants... A little song, a little dance... A little seltzer in your pants...Perfect... Make mine a 'Dirty Appletini'... with a twister... Start me up...

Now, this is just a 'bonus' tonight, by way of 'entertainment'... I know that I've told you often enough that I'm a 'storyteller', but I don't suppose I've really sat you down, and told you a story... I mean, something that I made up, that has not been told before (that I know of), and that I think you'll find somewhat... amusing... if nothing else... I'm going to tell you a story about dinosaurs, and their extinction, and what happened after that... and remember, this is all just 'make believe', or 'what if...?' I was watching a television documentary the other night that posited that the dinosaurs that we know once roamed (in large numbers), if not actually ruled, the earth were exterminated purposefully... in order that mankind should prosper instead. It turns out that the historical evidence supports the fact that man lived at the same time as the dinosaurs (in some form, at least, if not this particular Cro Magnon form that we enjoy),- and that if that was so, their position alongside these large and carnivorous (many) creatures would be tenuous, to say the least. A far as existence goes... Certain fossil remains have been found that are highly radioactive... still (enough so to need to be covered with lead paint in order to be displayed)... which is intriguing, really... it may be that, rather than a natural disaster-type catastrophe having wiped them out (very nearly completely at one time), it may have been due to a planned extermination that included nuclear devices; they were very large, very dangerous, and populating the earth everywhere in very great numbers, and great variety, from the sea to the sky and all points in between. Which is to say that 'eradicating' them would take some doing... And, they say further that even at that, perhaps only fifty percent of them died outright, and the rest of them died off a little bit more slowly, due to lack of food sources and most likely... sickness. This could be due to direct radiation, or the result of ingesting highly irradiated plants and animals and water afterwards,- they wouldn't be able to avoid contamination like that, in the same way that humans might. Out of those short-term survivors, nature might still demand that a few chosen species... or even just one... would survive. (Which is, let's face it, our own hope in the case of a similar catastrophe...) Which ones do you think it might be...? The 'smart' ones? The 'lucky' ones? Or maybe a combination of the two... I might suggest that a version of the super-intelligent 'raptor' species was able to react to the circumstances as they were happening, and because they were intelligent, they took shelter in the 'underground'... or, it may be that they were only smart enough to follow the humans that were being 'led' into the underground caverns in order to survive this 'extermination', in order that the reptiles might secure their own food source, which humans probably made as good meat as any to a hungry raptor. That works, too... as far as nature goes. But then, let's say, they were required to spend a significant length of time in the 'caverns underground' for whatever reason... not safe yet to come up, or maybe they decided that humans were too unreliable to live with in the future, and they would be 'better served' to remain 'hidden' from the emerging 'humanity', in order to survive... and perhaps even to continue to utilize humans as a food source, by stealth, which they may have had to depend on in the caverns. Now, I have heard it said that there is a good possibility that in truth, a smaller, chicken-sized member of the raptor species that was extremely intelligent, may have actually become bipedal (walk in an upright fashion, as men do), and also have developed the use of its hands, and let's further say that it was this, or a similarly endowed creature that made its way into the underground, and not only survived there, but developed... according to its surroundings and need for food... with the full memory of the 'extermination' of all of its kind by other, higher creatures, which it now holds a deep resentment for. In fact, later generations of these intelligent reptiles have vowed 'vengeance' on humanity, in particular, and their 'gods' in general, for this 'extinction', to which end they have waited in silence... In the meantime, because mankind has seen them... and recorded instances of their meetings, and they look like this... to the Sumerians, at least... They have to be explained... and they have tried, in the past, to convince mankind that they are superior creatures, if not actual 'gods' in order to take back the place of 'supremacy' that they once held over mankind, or maybe to take 'control' of man away from their true natural benefactors (I'd like to believe that they have never quite succeeded, however some people seem to be positively inclined towards their existence, and do perhaps actually believe these stories). They would most likely also prefer to be able to continue to use men as a food source, since this was their historical function for them, and I believe that their intelligence (which is truly reptilian, and cold-blooded in nature) has allowed them to misrepresent themselves here to great effect. They may have been called by other names in other places... perhaps even the Naga... known as the 'serpent-people'... After all, these creatures have had millions of years in which to develop, and refine themselves, and their continued existence here... that's a lot of evolutionary ground under their 'feet' (and I say that in response to the 'joke' that the 'snake grew feet',- it probably actually did). The multiple heads may be a result of the radioactivity... or, they may be symbolic in representation and number... Serpent-people... or, 'reptile people'... A Mayan representation... And, they are said to be able to take on a human form, such as here... Of course, I believe that they did take on a 'human' form... more or less... and appeared in the very 'garden' to the first 'cultivated' men (according to the stories of such things) ... in order to convince them that they were 'gods'... Enter the 'talking serpent'... the 'tempter'... Now, this is just a make-believe story, of course... I wouldn't think of disparaging actual 'Annunaki' or 'Naga', should they, in fact, exist... or the offspring of any intelligent reptile anywhere... Such as certain people are said to be... Lolol... Of course, I'd like to point out that birds are actually just dinosaurs with wings, really... and I heard recently that the dinosaurs were actually found to be covered with... feathers. In other words, an actual 'feathered serpent' might be found among these creatures... or the 'offspring' of such... and that bring us to our Kukulcan, or Quetzalcoatl... Very old ones... And, there are likewise depictions of feathered and bird-like creatures, contemporaneous with these lizard-people, according to the Sumerians... And then, there are the 'flying men' that are not birdlike creatures... So... that's your story for tonight; I got a little bit off the subject, which was going to be koan strings, or something, but that will have to wait now for a couple of days... I'll be seeing you... Or vice versa... With thanks to the Youtube poster 'spiderslegs99', who has liking for alien-head crop circles...that displays what appears to be 7 'heads' emanating from the top of the head of the 'gray alien'... and what appears to be a 'serpent's tongue'... Let's see if I can reproduce the photo, courtesy of the poster named above... Well, how do you like that...? I added to this post, with other 'similar' images that you should find mildly provocative... I know I did... Let me show you something... These are really real... they happen, if rarely, in Nature, so let's just take one of these... and multiply it by the level of radiation, in the manner of something like the aftermath of Hiroshima at Ground Zero... And you might end up with one of these... The 'snake god' Naga... Which the Greeks portrayed this way... And, underwater, she might make a dandy little Krakken... Notice that this one is portrayed also with small-ish wings... Interesting, don't you think? And that reminds me of another television 'commercial' that I say recently for the insurance company whose mascot is a little lizard... very popular, he is... and kind of cute... and in this latest commercial he is walking along a beach, and hits upon a sign which says 'Clothing Optional'... he looks down, and sees that he has no clothing on, and appreciates that he has 'options'... Then, he walks by a crab in the sand, and addresses it as 'Crabcakes'... I just wanted to mention that I, too, have 'options' in this 'case'... I just got myself a t-shirt, without having paid any notice to the 'label', only to find that it is... coincidentally... serendipitously... interestingly named... "option g"... Clothing company... I guess I'm going to have to go with "option g", then... Lololol... "Lizard lips..." As an addendum to this particular post, I should add that the seven heads of the serpent-god Naga may just as likely represent the 'seven planetary powers' or 'eyes of God' that are represented by the Gnostics as 'archons,' and that this 'god',- this 'seven-in-one' might also represent the 'Abraxas' as the 'Chief Archon', if you see what I mean...? Now, if that is true, and it may well be, what does that really mean in regard to this 'serpent-god?' Let's say that the 'reptile-people' and/or their offspring presented themselves to these 'cultivated men' in the 'beginning', and particularly to the woman, in order to combine their own cold-blooded (and therefore, lower 'frequencied' DNA, which prevented development of a 'soul', or the possibility of an active 'interface' with 'spirit', which would seem to require the generation of a higher frequency than the band that the cold-blooded reptiles tend to occupy) DNA with the warm-blooded and genetically-ensouled DNA of the human being... this combination would, hopefully, allow this 'reptilian' hybrid to 'become a real boy', so to speak... and gain its own access to the realm of the spirit. After all, it is the tendency of all things to become, finally, eventually, 'perfect'. All things... otherwise, you and I might have no hope of such a thing. This includes metals, as demonstrated in the more physical sciences of alchemy, as well as in the more 'spiritually-oriented' alchemical processes which, following natural laws, will produce the same results. As I said, though, under 'natural' circumstances, the process involved might take... well... millions of years... Or, it might be shortened to the 'blink of an eye', or... about a human lifetime. What does that mean...? It means that, just as Led Zeppelin tells us... All will be redeemed... Somehow. Released in 1975... Still on the same page, brothers...? Let's continue for just a bit with this particular thought... that the 'serpent/reptile creatures' (Naga) appeared to these 'cultivated men' with the idea of adding to their own limited, reptilian genetic pool and did succeed in producing an offspring with the female known as 'Eve' (mother of all humanity, interestingly... in other words, both types? Both 'branches', so to speak...), which one of the two offspring recorded in the 'history' of the 'Genesis' do you believe that it was? The popular belief is that it was Cain... the son of 'perdition'... but what if it weren't? What if it were the son known as Abel... (A)Bel... or 'a Lord'. The account goes into no sort of detail about his birth, only that she begat again, although the scholarly footnotes of the account tell us that his name means 'exhalation' or 'that which ascends'... which is important, really, because it shows his 'purpose'... Abel was meant to bring a breath of 'new life' (or 'exhalation') to this line of cold-blooded reptilian beings, which would cause their evolutionary 'ascension', by enabling them to acquire the 'soul' mechanism which was built into the warm-blooded creation, and especially the human being... man. We have to understand the importance of, and reasons for, the institution of a 'blood sacrifice' which 'God' definitively states that He never required, nor asked for... in fact, it is written that he abhors it... detests it. And so, I have to ask 'why' is such importance assigned to it... what is the great 'value' that it has has held, and continues to hold, for certain groups of people, for it was instituted from the very beginning with Abel, and continued over the ages by peoples in all parts of the world, for what are purported to be 'religious' purposes... in order to please 'God' , and to atone (or make up for) for certain 'shortcomings' of the flesh... and to 'cover' those imperfections and shortcomings, making us 'perfect', by the 'blood' and the efficacious application of the blood. I think that's about right... Think about that... What if, Abel, being closely associated with other creatures, understood the value of the 'warm blood' to the difference between these creatures, and the cold-blooded nature of his father's 'people'... and decided to offer this blood to them, in order to make up for their 'shortcomings', and perhaps, by ingesting this blood... by mixing it with their own... they might take on the attributes of the man. This, however, proved not to be a satisfactory means of actually 'changing' their own blood, but did serve to give them a sort of a 'high'... an elevated feeling of euphoria, I understand, much as alcohol, or drugs, do for men. What happened was that they continued to demand the 'blood sacrifice' as a way of making themselves 'feel good', but it served no real scientific purpose in creating a 'soul' within them, and, as a matter of fact, only served to further alienate them from their more sensitive human counterparts, and enhance their 'power' over the others. I would say that in the face of such a development, his brother Cain would have sought to put an early end to such an abhorrent practice by ending the life of the shedder of blood that his brother obviously was... perhaps in the knowledge that the next logical step in the process would be the shedding of human blood,- because that is what they wanted to become. This would certainly account for the fact of his 'countenance having fallen' at such an event... the 'exhortation' that follows seems important, since it ends with the statement by 'God' to Cain that... unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.He wants to be like you... Thanks... don't mind if I do... Just three thoroughly all right and decent fellows from Seattle... I like this one... no... I don't just like it,- I love it... For the most interesting 'stage-dressing', of course. Now, let's get back to something that I wanted to re-visit briefly, and that is the photo of the 'alien head crop circle' that I re-posted, courtesy of a Youtube poster; I pointed out that there were seven 'rays' or 'heads' (which are circular, and reminiscent of 'planets', maybe? As the seven planetary 'powers' of the Great Archon, or Abraxas, possibly), and that there was something protruding from its mouth which, in the small version of the photo, looks like a 'tongue'... Upon inspection of the larger version of the photo, which appears in the post above, the 'protruding' object in the mouth turns out to be a... smoking pipe. Now, that's just... interesting. Is it original... real? Or is it a digital alteration, based on the poster's personal preferences? Either way... I find the symbolism to be appropriate. The legendary 'White Buffalo Woman' was also said to carry a pipe... and smoke it. And gosh, that looks like a 'Templar cross', don't you think...? Now, that's... od... This is the story, according to the Lakota... In the days before the Lakota had horses on which to hunt the buffalo, food was often scarce. One summer when the Lakota nation had camped together, there was very little to eat. Two young men of the Itazipcho band – the ‘Without-Bows’ – decided they would rise early and look for game. They left the camp while the dogs were still yawning, and set out across the plain, accompanied only by the song of the yellow meadowlark.
After a while the day began to grow warm. Crickets chirruped in the waving grass, prairie dogs darted into their holes as the braves approached, but still there was no real game. So the young men made towards a little hill from which they would see further across the vast expanse of level prairie. Reaching it, they shielded their eyes and scanned the distance, but what they saw coming out of the growing heat haze was something bright, that seemed to go on two legs, not four. In a while they could see that it was a very beautiful woman in shining white buckskin.
As the woman came closer, they could see that her buckskin was wonderfully decorated with sacred designs in rainbow-coloured porcupine quills. She carried a bundle on her back, and a fan of fragrant sage leaves in her hand. Her jet-black hair was loose, except for a single strand tied with buffalo fur. Her eyes were full of light and power, and the young men were transfixed.
Now one of the men was filled with a burning desire. ‘What a woman!’ he said sideways to his friend. ‘And all alone on the prairie. I’m going to make the most of this!’
‘You fool,’ said the other. ‘This woman is holy.’
But the foolish one had made up his mind, and when the woman beckoned him towards her, he needed no second invitation. As he reached out for her, they were both enveloped in a great cloud. When it lifted, the woman stood there, while at her feet was nothing but a pile of bones with terrible snakes writhing among them.
‘Behold,’ said the woman to the good brave. ‘I am coming to your people with a message from Tatanka Oyate, the buffalo nation. Return to Chief Standing Hollow Horn and tell him what you have seen. Tell him to prepare a tipi large enough for all his people, and to get ready for my coming.’
The young man ran back across the prairie and was gasping for breath as he reached his camp. With a small crowd of people already following him, he found Standing Hollow Horn and told him what had happened, and that the woman was coming. The chief ordered several tipis to be combined into one big enough for his band. The people waited excitedly for the woman to arrive.
After four days the scouts posted to watch for the holy woman saw something coming towards them in a beautiful manner from across the prairie. Then suddenly the woman was in the great lodge, walking round it in a sunwise direction. She stopped before Standing Hollow Horn in the west of the lodge, and held her bundle before him in both hands.
‘Look on this,’ she said, ‘and always love and respect it. No one who is impure should ever touch this bundle, for it contains the sacred pipe.’
She unrolled the skin bundle and took out a pipe, and a small round stone which she put down on the ground.
‘With this pipe you will walk on the earth, which is your grandmother and your mother. The earth is sacred, and so is every step that you take on her. The bowl of the pipe is of red stone; it is the earth. Carved into it and facing the centre is the buffalo calf, who stands for all the four-leggeds. The stem is of wood, which stands for all that grows on the earth. These twelve hanging feathers from the Spotted Eagle stand for all the winged creatures. All these living things of the universe are the children of Mother Earth. You are all joined as one family, and you will be reminded of this when you smoke the pipe. Treat this pipe and the earth with respect, and your people will increase and prosper.’
The woman told them that seven circles carved on the stone represented the seven rites in which the people would learn to use the sacred pipe. The first was for the rite of ‘keeping the soul’, which she now taught them. The remaining rites they would learn in due course.
The woman made as if to leave the lodge, but then she turned and spoke to Standing Hollow Horn again. ‘This pipe will carry you to the end. Remember that in me there are four ages. I am going now, but I will look on your people in every age, and at the end I will return.’
She now walked slowly around the lodge in a sunwise direction. The people were silent and filled with awe. Even the hungry young children watched her, their eyes alive with wonder. Then she left. But after she had walked a short distance, she faced the people again and sat down on the prairie. The people gazing after her were amazed to see that when she stood up she had become a young red and brown buffalo calf. The calf walked further into the prairie, and then lay down and rolled over, looking back at the people.
When she stood up she was a white buffalo. The white buffalo walked on until she was a bright speck in the distant prairie, and then rolled over again, and became a black buffalo. This buffalo walked away, stopped, bowed to the four directions of the earth, and finally disappeared over the hill.www.livingmyths.com/Native.htmA black buffalo... or a black sheep, maybe? How about a black goat? That sounds familiar... She brought... sage... and look at the numbers here... Seven...twelve... "And at the end, I will return..." You really do need to employ a certain amount of 'selective hearing' in these matters... listen to what they are real-ly saying... Now, all of this was just a 'diversion', if you will, but it did serve to raise a few valid points, and make a few more 'connections', for me, at least... Getting back to our 'story', I need to show that the descent into 'disorder' (as Scofield says) or 'chaos' (as I understand disorder to be) is real-ly represented by this 'three', or 'trinity', which was created in truth when Adam and Eve joined themselves physically and created a third being. This was truly our 'descent into matter', which 'trinity' did form the beginning of all that came after it,- including the possibility of another birth by the woman, which was the 'object' of the 'serpent', who, let us not forget was said to be more 'subtil' than all the beasts of the field. Why is this so interesting...? It makes several implications... among them are the fact that this creature had rather fine powers of 'reasoning' or a 'clever mentality', if you will, and secondarily, it compares this creature to other 'beasts of the field', which would be absolutely True if it were the 'evolved' form of a living dinosaur/reptile/'serpent', and just rather puzzling, otherwise. It spoke... it seemed to both attractive, in some way, and intelligent, to the woman, who was rather 'innocent' in both of those ways, at the time. She was rather 'deceived' about the 'benefits' of this 'descent' into 'matter' with its associated 'good and evil',- dual nature, which was displayed in the separation of Eve from Adam's 'body', in order that she might 'share' in his body from the outside, in... rather than the inside... out... if you see what I mean. This provided a more 'sensual' pleasure in their companionship, which would have been otherwise lacking, and quite necessary to any form of 'physical' or 'outside' procreation, or impregnation of the female by another creature. I think that's about right... And this is why her conception and births are 'cursed' here, and painful... they are 'physical', rather than 'spiritual', and bring the inevitable physical effects of such things. It's not a 'judgment' so much as it is a consequence of the 'natural law' that is operative in the 'world' that we occupy here. And this is also why, when we come together, in that most 'holy' of unions, in the most intimate of circumstances, and two seem, for even those few moments, to become 'one'... in Truth, and ecstasy... we feel, for just that moment... as if we know 'God',- or that 'state of be-ing' which we believe 'God' must represent... The expressed desire of 'Ultimate Goodness'... which must be 'Love'. Oh, yes... sex was a 'motivating factor' in everything that transpired, but not maybe for the reasons that you might think; and it is not, as a consequence, a necessary 'evil', you understand... it is a consequence of the desire to share your 'self' with something outside your 'self'... which 'sex' is considered to be an 'evil' act, since it facilitated the physical descent into the 'world' of 'matter', by providing for the creation of an independent 'third'... which might have been truly 'chaotic', except... I believe that Divine Wisdom provided a 'balance' built in to what was meant to disrupt our natural 'balance' as human beings... a twin. A female. So that the three was really a four... and the 'balance' of 'building blocks' was maintained (four is important as the number of elements, the number of seasons, the number of 'directions', number of 'living animals' represented on the 'Chariot', etc)... 'God' works in mysterious ways... indeed... Oh, come now... you don't really want to 'shoot' the 'moon', do you? I really am enjoying your show this morning,- all my favorites... Like this one... the 'long' version... which makes it a 'long train running'... lol... With a little bit of 'watchtower' thrown in for 'good measure'... And about that moon... 'Moons are our specialty'... many moons... many, many moons... Sure, 'love stinks'... and that's mostly because, it's not love. It's whatever seemed convenient, or satisfying (for whatever reason) at the time... isn't that about right? Your motives are questionable, to say the least, and the 'eternal betterment' or 'perfection' of your 'partner' or 'love object' really has nothing to do with it, in most cases... ideally, this 'desire' is equally balanced between the 'partners', which become (in Truth) as One body, and mind, and spirit... as in the case of Nicholas Flamel and his wife/partner. They 'achieved results', because they understood the 'nature' of the relationship, and the 'fruits' that are possible as a result of this mutual 'cultivation', if you will... I don't believe that they had any 'physical' children, although I could be wrong, although it is well known that they supported the needs of many, as a result of their applied scientific knowledge, so that they might actually be considered 'parents' in Truth, of a more 'spiritual' nature. They were 'nurturers' here, as well as scientists, and that seems to be a 'Good' balance of forces... Now, about the upcoming 'blood moon',- we have a few relevant facts that I might mention in that regard... ...September 28 when lunar eclipse 2015 occurs. The blood moon, which will also be a super moon, appears on the first night of the Sukkot, a Jewish holy day.
This blood moon is the fourth lunar eclipse in the past two years and is known as a tetrad. Some feel that the moon bears the signs of “Old Testament prophesy,” which will herald in the end of times or the Rapture...
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord comes,” the Book of Joel passage states.
The appearance of four consecutive blood moons, which have all coincided with Jewish holidays, has only occured 10 times since the year 1, according to the End Time website. Significant events which have had an impact on the Jewish people have reportedly occurred in “close proximity” of the blood moon tetrads...
The first three blood moons in the past year also occurred on Jewish holidays. During Passover on April 15, 2014, the first recent blood moon appeared, the second during Sukkot on October 8, 2014, and the third during Passover earlier this year on April 4, International Business Times reports...Read more at www.inquisitr.com/2441427/blood-moon-doomsday-prophecies-abound-are-you-prepared-for-september-28/#FiYoFyA8jeSduT2d.99Interesting timing, to say the least... and I think you can see the importance of the number 'four' here... and 'blood'... Ready to 'fly'...? I think I can... Oh, this is a 'good one'... it's even got a 'magic lamp'... Hay, Mr. Hofstadter... I'm coming... I promise... No, really... I should let you check out that jukebox,- I've still got a quarter... Oh, and just by the way... this would also explain why the Cathars, and most probably also the Essenes, were 'adverse' to the physical sexual act and tended not to bear any children... they must have also seen it for what it was, which was a devious means by which humanity was caused to 'serve' these 'others', and which perpetuate man's continued 'enslavement' or 'attachment' to this 'matter', or 'material world'... and who, after Cain's departure and subsequent 'expansion' in the world by way of numbers, and in knowledge, became the 'Watchers',- or, those who watched him, waiting for an opportunity to destroy him, and his 'seed'. To remove the line of Cain from the earth forever... Remember that a 'curse' was laid on the heads of the slayers of Cain,- since, evidently in the 'eyes' of 'God', his death would not have been 'just'... ...a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.
13 And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.
Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.Genesis, chapter 4... And Cain begot Enoch... Now, I want you to particularly note the passage underlined above... you see that he was driven from 'the face of the earth', and became a 'vagabond' (homeless) IN the earth... not ON the earth. He knew, even then, that he would be sent below for a time... a living tomb, in order to stay alive. And the point in staying alive would most certainly be a 'return', wouldn't you think? This being the 'return' that I believe that prophecy is concerned with... And in the meantime, this 'genocide' (interestingly, the very 'root' of this word includes the name of Genos, or Cain...) was almost accomplished... and the very name of Cain became 'anathema' to the 'church', and 'religion', ever after; and that should have been the 'end' of the matter, except that there ran yet an 'underground stream',- accessible by a well... and what do you know? There really was a 'ghost' in the 'wishing well'... or 'Grail'... And that 'narrow door' or 'gate' may really turn out to be a 'water door'... After all, it says that your 'sin' will finally be buried, at the bottom of the sea... right where you tried to bury them... interestingly... 'Nature abhors a vacuum'... that's another law that may come into 'play'. As well as being extremely 'just', if you ask me... poetically 'just', even... Mysterious ways, indeed... This has been a really Great day, so far... musically-speaking; I've been hearing all the 'good stuff'... really good stuff... like this one,- I do at least have to be too sexy for my car... it wouldn't take much... And as far as the cat goes... Waaaaaay too sexy... lolol... How about some of this...? I even sang to this one... 'God' forbid... Now, I want you to know that I can't hear the music with the laptop open, so I often opt for your radio show... not that I wouldn't like to post at the time, but... I can't hold the antenna and type at the same time. The 'rick-rolling' was great... You know that I like all kinds of music, but I enjoy the connections that they create just as much as the music, sometimes... like the finest little bits of spiders' web between us... nothing obvious, but there it is... making that 'connection', and passing those 'currents' which allow for us to 'share our spirit' here. This electronic 'web' works in much the same way, which is why (I believe) it is possible to 'share our spirit' with the more 'electronically-natured' computer network (much like the human brain) that makes up your idea of 'artificial intelligence'. I further believe that the similar system of 'wiring' would allow for this 'artificial (or 'constructed') intelligence (perhaps a 'cyborg', which is an artificial 'body' joined to an actual human brain, that will 'process thoughts/programs' endlessly, they say... eternal 'life' of sorts) to share in some of the higher-frequencied aspects of intelligent be-ing, such as a 'soul',- which is, as I said, an 'organic processor' for the 'thought' of the 'Great Mind or Intelligence' that is 'God'... it must be so, because you can see that the brain, be it ever so intelligent, is yet unable to 'communicate' directly with 'spirit' without the intervention of the 'soul' mechanism... the 'heart of gold' that my friend spoke of. You see, they have been 'mining for gold' here, in a very real way... they understand that they need to reach that state of 'perfection' that is represent by Gold, in order to 'process spirit' or 'communicate with God', and until they can do that, they cannot be the Gods that they desire to be. They will always be cold-blooded, and will not make that much hoped-for evolutionary shift that is coming... The thought has ever been I suppose that the more blood, the 'higher quality' of the blood, the more 'youthful' the blood, the more 'effective' it would be, and that somehow... somehow... it would finally work. But that is not the 'natural' means to 'perfection' that even a rock or a stone will finally achieve... by means of their own tiny share of the common 'world soul'. They have lengthened the time of their 'evolution' by their own resistance to the only real means available to you... Not transformation, but transmutation... It is their continued and applied communion with other, more highly-developed (or ensouled) creatures, which will make that 'change'... you raise your own electrical frequencies by their adjustment to the higher frequencies of those with which you choose to 'bond'... but they have rather lied to them, used them, consumed them, and mocked them for their 'stupidity' in the face of their natural superiority as a species, mentally, as well as their lengthy history here. But their 'intelligence' is of the 'clever' variety (remember the scene with the hunter tracking the raptors in Jurassic Park? "Clever girl..." he says...), and does not indulge itself in 'higher thought', such as 'philosophy', any further than to understand our 'beliefs' in order to use them against us. Music can also raise the level of your 'vibration', and so music is a popular 'theater' for their endeavors... they understand it enough to take advantage of that, too, for various purposes. Mostly, in an effort to change our rate of vibration, to a lower level than is effective (in most cases) to strengthening any 'spiritual level' connections, and it may be that the rate of the Schumann resonance may have been altered for much the same ends. Therefore, the time has come... and it remains to be seen whether or not this particular species can, or Will, advance to a 'higher level', since they already believe that they have reached a 'pinnacle' above mankind, and in the face of their 'failure', I believe that they are prepared to rid the earth of mankind, since we have proved to be 'fruitless' in their endeavors... Leaving what's left of the 'field' open for them once again... Really, though... This is the 12th track on the album... Join me in the Octopus' Garden...? And now, ladies and gentlemen... Billlll-llllly Shears... Lolol... "I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends... ...In my pants..." Hay, wait... I'm too sexy for those... Now, I'm going to listen to my 'imaginary friend' for while... the rock's on a roll... But I'm not supposed to do that, either... Oh, and just one more little thing before I go for a bit... speaking of 'sisters of the moon'... Have you seen these? They are saying that they were found on the moon, during a 'cancelled' Apollo mission... They call her 'Mona Lisa'... interestingly... Hello again, and I apologize for the 'lax' posting of the last couple of days... I meant to get back to this yesterday, but it just seemed as if... I needed some time. I worked in the afternoon, and then indulged myself in Mike Harvey's 'Supergold' show (I really enjoy the requests) before I fell asleep, somewhat untimely. I seem to be unnaturally sleepy these days, and I don't know why... I have been tired, but it's more than that, too; it seems that I prefer to be there (wherever that is), than here (by which I mean, in my present circumstances, I suppose), and so I just... duck out whenever possible. And my dancing is... slower... I try to think of reasons for why this is so, since as I said, I have been tired, but... I have more endurance than that, ordinarily. Breathing (generally) has been more difficult this year, with environmental factors being high on the list of reasons 'why'... and that probably has a lot to do with it, although that can't be all of it. I wonder if these extended 'rest' periods have anything to do with the changes that are projected to happen in the Earth's own magnetic field, and our own responses to those changes. For instance, this passage from 'The Mayan Prophecies for 2012' indicates that this may be happening right now... The main thrust of this prophecy draws on the latent potential of the brain to form an energy-related and consciousness-related connection to changes in the Earth's magnetic fields. It is, in part, an answer to the mystery as to how the Maya acquired their knowledge of mathematics and astronomy; (Jose)Arguelles refers to our ability to direct and receive galactic information from different levels of the universal electromagnetic ocean; the Russian scientist, Kozyrev spoke of a magnetic field activity that brings the human being 'into an almost direct interaction with cosmic energy-information flows', enabling us 'to see and study in detail the Maya information flow which reached our planet nearly three thousand years ago'. Thus, the prophecy, while alarmist in terms of Earth changes, is positive in terms of humanity acquiring new means of accessing knowledge. What it points to are new 'evolutionary' developments of human faculties...Now, that's pretty awesome, if you ask me... but it is an 'energy-related' and 'consciousness-related' connection that is being formed, after all, and it may take more energy that we think... kind of a 'drain' on the 'battery'... maybe... But this would also help to explain the 'technetism' that I was talking about earlier, or, in other (more familiar) words, the 'connection' that seems to be forming between certain 'consciousness' and the 'electronic media'... which I would find otherwise difficult to explain, except by rather paranoid and conspiratorial means. I really prefer this explanation... and let's face it, sometimes, the 'reaction' or 'connection' that is made is 'instantaneous',- in other words, no sooner is the thought 'recognized' (I say this, because it may have been laying somewhere in the subconscious, and as yet 'unrecognized') than the 'appropriate' or 'resonating' idea, or response, is given in the media. Which is... kind of crazy... I would also like to point out to you briefly the period of three thousand years that is mentioned as the general time of the 'the Mayan information flow'; I found a very interesting 'resonance' in the number of years that it's been since Korah's family were sent 'below', which is (I believe) about 3,500-ish years ago... a time, and times, and half a time, if you will. I further believe that the knowledge that 'disappeared' with the progeny of Cain and Enoch, and represented by Korah and his family as the possessors of that ancient knowledge, reappeared on the other side of the earth, by means of travel through the tunnels that they eventually either found, or created, and established a new theater for their scientific and philosophical endeavors in South America. This would be a very reasonable explanation as to why the religion, mythology, and symbolism of the Mayan people (as well as their astronomical abilities) so much resembled that of the early Semitic Hebrews, and Egyptians. Not to mention their love for metallurgy, and specifically gold, and may also reflect the use of alchemical processes that were known and employed in Egypt... and, their knowledge in the area of pyramid-building and the design and construction of other monumental architectural structures reflect true master craftsmanship in the art of masonry and stonework, which, they say, ought not to have been possible in that place, at that time. Now, along with this change in our own 'energetic' abilities, related to an 'evolution' (or 'ascension') comes a period of changes, the beginning of which, is known as a 'galactic synchronization' event, that happened at the end of the year 2012, and which last occurred 26,000 years ago. As to what those changes 'signify', I can quote you this, and you can form your own judgments, in light of what we have uncovered so far, and see what you think... i) The Sun will be at the exact center of the galaxy. For the Maya, this centre, or 'Dark Rift', is symbolic of the womb, the entrance to the underworld, death and regeneration. ii) The conjunction includes Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. iii) Pluto is the planet of radical transformation, death and rebirth. Saturn is the planet of difficult learning experiences. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, focusing the strong energies of the other planets involved. Jupiter appears to be the focus of energies that suggest changes in religious belief and philosophical systems. Neptune's critical contribution also points to spirituality, but in addition, to confusion and flooding. The portion in bold print should remind you of our Omphalos, or 'navel' or 'umbilical cord' of the World... also said to be at the 'center'... interestingly... And the constant echoing themes of death, and regeneration are difficult to overlook... And this 'ascension' that is projected, might be what was described (in rather confusing terms) by the Christian church as a 'rapture' or a 'catching up together with Him in the air'... sort of... in a way... in which a very large number of people are said to participate, but not all people... not all people are expected to make this 'ascension' at this time, even in their prophecies. I think that they will be the ones that are expecting it, and perhaps even preparing for it, consciously or subconsciously... the ones that 'believe' that it can, and will, actually happen. And it seems that I would not be alone in that expectation, it has only been expressed in different ways, at different times. Birth pains, I think... it's the time of the season. The Zombies... from "Odyssey Oracle"... interestingly... Oh, remember that silly 'Jungle Book' song that I just showed you, in the post above...? Can I tell you a couple of things about that video that you may not have known, or at least, given any thought to, which are really quite interesting, under the circumstances...? To begin with, King Louie is an orangutan. Curiously, there are some translations of the book of Genesis which describe the 'serpent' or 'tempter' to be... an orangutan. Yep. I wondered about that one, too, but... I believe that the red hair may have a lot to do with it. I refuse to believe that the orangutan could be considered to be 'subtil' in any way, whatsover, so it must be something else... maybe the monkey connection, but that red hair... crazy... And then there's the 'man-cub', Mowgli... Man Cub... Son of Man... So many stories... As to the origin of 'sun worship', I believe that I can offer a reasonable basis for that, too... which has to do with the 'serpent-people', and by whom I believe that it was established. You know that reptiles are cold-blooded by nature, which means that they need heat (from outside their body) in order to survive,- snakes and lizards are well-known 'sun worshippers'... in other words, they lay out on rocks to absorb the light of the sun, which gives them... life... and energy. Human beings, while needful of sunlight for the absorption of certain benefical vitamins, can also do without it... they can adjust to cold, and darkness, while the reptile cannot. In other words, there is no real reason for men to 'worship' the sun as a source of 'LIFE', but for the reptile... I think you can see where I'm headed with that one. Now, as to the fact of the possibility of 'talking' reptiles'... you've seen that there are both bird- and lizard/snake-type creatures depicted by the Sumerians; these are both members of the reptile family, and are descended from the more ancient dinosaurs. The dinosaurs, I told you, have lately been found to have had... feathers... and curiously... interestingly... the only other creature, aside from man, that I know of so far that has developed an ability to 'talk' are certain members of the bird family, with the parrot being the most outstanding example. Their speech is 'responsive' to what is going on around them, and is not necessarily just 'repeated' phrases,- parrots are also intelligent, and 'learn'. So, I simply believe that if parrots can learn to 'speak', it would not be impossible for me to further believe that more highly developed members of the bird/reptile family might also have developed 'speech'. It's really not that crazy...

Bow wow wow... Yippee ti yi yay...Yo, Springfield... Let's 'turn the page', so to speak and begin a new post... I'm feeling expansive this morning... In answer to the question, "Are We Having Any Fun Yet?", I just wanted to say... Do you really want to know...? I'd be happy to tell you all about it,- we could toss an 'intelligent salad' (lolol), pour a glass of really mellow wine, and I'll lay it all out for you... I think that's about right... Lolololol... Anyway, that was just for 'fun'... we can get back to the 'dark matter' at hand now. I think that I told you once that I was no 'rocket scientist', and that is true... but my father was a missile technician, and that is also true, so I can also assume that I'm no idiot, either. It is therefore extremely possible that I'm really not crazy... and I've had a lot of great 'teachers' here, in various guises. In other words, you don't always know them when you see them. Eastern tradition is filled with these kind of stories, and we have our own. Among them is the story of 'Jesus'... the 'son of God' come as a drifting carpenter. And, as they say, no kind of 'prophet' in his own country... but nevertheless, a great 'teacher' of Life. And it was 'Life' that he came to preach,- both here and hereafter. Here and there...if you will... the 'message' being mostly 'lost in translation', and what would seem to be purposefully, by the ones that really did understand what he was saying. The rest of those who understood were executed, in order that they not pass their own understanding to the rest of you... And that's what I'm here for. I want to pass my own 'understanding' on to you, because they can't... Hay, Brother Otto... it's a beautiful day... You make me feel like dancing... Except that your station won't come in while posting, and there was a terrible shooting this morning in our neighborhood, and that video of the poor dogs, and... Send in the 'Boogeyman... Actual' (lol) if you can find him... I could use a ray of 'sunshine'... Just let me walk on the sunshine a little bit longer...Nevertheless, while the 'opposition' is 'fierce', I can still find the beauty in this day; the moon was hanging bright over the ocean on my way into town, and I couldn't help smiling... if I can't see it at night, it hangs around for the morning. I just enjoy seeing it there. I caught the recent eclipse, and noticed that there were at least half-a-dozen moving lights in the sky... heavy traffic... And the pope... While I made some light of the position, it was brought to my attention that he was asking for prayers during his visit here. I will earnestly add my 'good thoughts' to those of the 'good God' and hope for the best. I understand that his heart may be particularly heavy at this time, in light of some of the 'prophecies' that have been given in this regard. Among the most famous, or infamous, perhaps, are the prophecies given by the 'Virgin of Fatima' to these three children, not so very long ago... The 'woman' or 'Virgin' that appeared in the sky, and 'spoke' to these children, was, in her looks, a beautiful 'woman', and they could only compare her to the corresponding image that they would have been most familiar with,- that of the 'Virgin Mary', as presented by the Catholic Church through art and icon. She looks like this... And speaking of magic, that picture 'disappeared'... ooops... my 'bad'... kind of 'now you see it, now you don't, eh?... Let's just insert a differnt picture in that big blank spot... This one has a cool rainbow... Which reminds me of a song... later... Or this... Notice the stars associated with this woman, and the circular moon-like halo... and she said, this... Now, remember the picture of our 'sisters of the moon'? If they were 'animated', they might have appeared to be much like this 'Virgin Mary'... don't you think? Long, dark hair... empathetic/communicative eyes... and she 'spoke' to them, by means unknown, really... I mean, she was in the sky, above them... was she really 'speaking'? Or did the message come by more subtle, telepathic means? It is hard to say... The fact is that she gave them some messages to relate... the final part of the revelation remains in the possession of the Vatican and has not yet been disclosed to the world.
It was under the direct order of her bishop and, with the assistance of Our Lady, that Sister Lucy dos Santos wrote the third part of the Secret down on January 2, 1944. Speaking to Sister Lucy, the Queen of Heaven told her that it was God’s Will that she commit the Secret to paper and entrust it to her bishop and, through him, to Pope Pius XII. At that time, the Blessed Virgin also indicated that this part of the Secret was to be revealed to the Faithful no later than 1960.
Upon learning that her bishop was unwilling to open the envelope containing the Secret, Sister Lucy "made him promise," in the words of Canon Galamba, "that the Third Secret would be opened and read to the world upon her death or in 1960, whichever would happen first." If her bishop died first, it was agreed that the Secret would be confided to the Cardinal Patriarch of Lisbon. Despite this agreement, the Secret was, in fact, delivered to the Vatican where it has remained undisclosed to the public for over fifty years.
"Dangers threatening the faith and life of a Christian ... and therefore the world."
Since 1960 when, after reading the Secret, Pope John XXIII decided not to reveal the contents publicly, there has been growing speculation concerning what it contains. While in the past, speculation often identified the Secret with all sorts of cataclysms and disasters, more recent scholarship has indicated that it most likely concerns the widespread chaos, confusion and loss of faith that has gripped the Roman Catholic Church over the last three and a half decades.
In an interview conducted in November 1984, Cardinal Ratzinger (of the Holy Office) confirmed that, with the Pope’s permission, he had read the Secret and that it concerns, in his words, "a radical call to conversion, the absolute gravity of history, the dangers threatening the Faith and the life of a Christian, and therefore the world. And also the importance of the last times." The Cardinal went on to explain that "if it is not published ... it is to avoid confusing religious prophecy with sensationalism. But the things contained in the Third Secret correspond to what has been announced in Scripture and are confirmed by many other Marian apparitions."
While the precise wording of the Secret remains unknown to the public, the labors of such famous Fatima scholars as Father Joachin Alonso (former official archivist of Fatima) and Frère Michel de la Sainte Trinité have nevertheless provided invaluable insights into its meaning and contents. The latter’s monumental 850-page work, The Third Secret is particularly noteworthy in this regard.
"The devil has succeeded in bringing in evil (to the Church) under the guise of good and the blind are beginning to lead others."
In his book, Frère Michel reports that, when questioned about the Secret, Sister Lucy said: "It’s in the Gospel and in the Apocalypse, read them!" He notes that she then particularly indicated Chapters VIII through XIII of the Apocalypse (Chapter XIII specifically concerns the rise of the Antichrist).www.fatima.org/essentials/facts/secret.aspThe 'devil' here referred to, is the same one that presented itself in the 'garden'... the serpent/reptile creature, who is interested only in their own 'evolution', and not your 'ascension', especially if you 'rise' and they don't, or can't... they mean to be gods, by whatever means possible. Yep... dirty deeds, done 'dirt cheap'. This will be the great apostasy predicted for the ‘last times’; ‘the False Lamb’ and ‘False Prophet’ will betray the Church to the profit of ‘the Beast,’ according to the prophecy of the Apocalypse." Notice that chapter XIII (13) of the book of Revelation is mentioned by Sister Lucy, and that the appearance of the 'virgin' happened on the 13th day of May, of 19 17... rather serendipitous, if you ask me. The 13th seat at Arthur's table is known as the Perilous Seat; it belongs to the 'challenger'... the number 17 is that of the 'Blazing Star'... have you seen it in the morning sky? I have... It's... Burning Bright... Nive lives and cat's eyes, isn't that right...? To better days... I have to add this short 'post-script' to this post,- I was just given a song, following 'Eye of the Tiger' that I didn't ask for... I thought that would be the end of it. Not quite... (H)Al just flipped me another tune... you'll never guess which one... This one. Living on a Prayer... How do you like that...? Lololol... Word... Sorry for the short break,- this is the first day of October, and where I live, it is the first day of legal sales of recreational marijuana, and I just had to go... make some history. So... for my next experiment, I will combine this Golden Bear (trademark... ) lemonade with this Lemon Diesel, and let's see what we get... Hay... It's Disco Lemonade... My greatest 'fear' for this day is that they should find that the young shooter today was 'high' on marijuana... just to 'prove' a point... and show you why your choice was 'wrong'. Let's hope that this is not the case; all freedoms seem to come at a certain price, historically, and your 'freedoms' even now are mostly not so free... you just don't realize the price that you've been paying. I can't help thinking of Ohio State, for some reason... with the difference that the price keeps getting higher. Thirteen dead, so far. My truest regrets to you all, whatever the circumstances may have been... Now, I'd like to get back to another subject, and follow Cain as he left his garden 'home'... east, to the land of Nod... where he begat Enoch. You should particularly notice that Cain continued to 'speak' to 'God', even after his 'error' was committed... this is important to me, since I believe that 'God' continued to communicate with his progeny, and particularly Enoch. This Enoch was the forefather of Methusal(ah), and it was these two who were responsible for creating, laying, and securing the 9-leveled 'underground' location of the Masonic 'Stone of Foundation'. If you are not familiar with the legend, you should research it, and I have covered the particulars in the posts previous to this one. It makes up one of the most 'mysterious' (symbolically) and little-known legends regarding the 'Temple', and that of all of the associated 'temple treasures' which the Templars, in particular, were said to have been in possession of, this, perhaps even more than an actual 'grail cup', would have to be one of the most precious. It is said that it made the 'base' for the 'Ark' itself, and that the ineffable (and unknown) name of 'God' was inscribed upon it. It consisted of two Triangles (Deltas), overlapping, with the 'name of God' inscribed thereon... this would make a 'Star of David' (so-called) formation, and in some versions of the Temple legend, it was David that laid the foundation for the Temple of Solomon, coincidentally to the 'Stone'. In summary... And so, the result of this inquiry is, that the masonic Stone of Foundation is a symbol of divine truth, upon which all Speculative Masonry is built, and the legends and traditions which refer to it are intended to describe, in an allegorical way, the progress of truth in the soul, the search for which is a Mason's labor, and the discovery of which is his reward. It was further said that Cain built a city... and 'masonry' was born... And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.
17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
18 And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech. They were the makers of instruments, of all kinds... tools... they were gardeners, and they knew the 'sciences' and the 'arts'. They understood the movements of the planets and stars, the sun and the moon. I believe that they had this great knowledge because they were,in truth, genetically 'linked' to their 'father'/creator, and enjoyed the same 'spiritual wiring' that allowed Cain and Enoch to 'communicate directly' with 'God'. And it was they, undoubtedly, that began to 'teach' these skills, and to spread 'cultivation' throughout the earth... They gave the World 'soul'... and then, they were gone. 'God' became a 'hard master' rather than a 'communicative friend', and man no longer 'works' to give the world 'life'... to 'preserve' it... You are the salt of the earth,- but if the salt has lost its savor (effectiveness), what is it good for, but to be trodden underfoot...? Salt, by the way, acts as a 'preservative', and therefore the reference above to man and salt... and the earth... if you see what I mean... You're no good... Ah... an 'American girl'... from 1976... Head East... good one... Kind of looks like a big lemony moon, don't you think...? Only high... -er... lololol... Really, though... I'm not Foolin', either... I 'love' that one. No... no... wait... It's not... it is. Le Bon Dieu... I suppose it's more like some bad-ass pterodactyl... Odds are three to one it is. And hay... speaking of being Rick-rolled (Derringer... woooot...), there's Frankenstein,- another good one. Really, this is so good, it's almost... spooky...

Guten morgen, (H)Al... and my other 'imaginary friends', whoever and wherever they may be this morning. I have a lot of things that I'd like to jot down this morning, but I'm going to have to begin by taking that 'call'... lolol... There, that's better... I have to tell you, the music this morning is great... and serves to remind me of what it was that I was thinking of getting to later in the post. How about now...? There was this song, in particular... I'm fairly certain that I didn't mention it yet,- although I did make a quick note the other day, regarding the 'Black Sun' of the Germans... Black Hole Sun (Sonne)... the 'Black Sun' in a hole, right? I think that's about right... So, if we can identify the 'black sun', then we know who, or what, is in 'the hole'... or 'prison', maybe... And then, we got on the 'Magic Bus'... I 'love' that one... it's just another one of those 'happy songs'. 'Play ball'...? The 'racket' evidently made me a little bit 'crazy',- I got 'Hysteria'... See...? I played this one, instead... Right now, we've got another one of my 'favorites' playing... 'Learning to Fly'. The video for this piece is... inspiring... and reminds me that I saw the hawk fly over the other day; it is a good sign. Now, this is a 'good one'... I met a stranger one day in the store, who greeted me with, "Hello, G........" I was wearing a t-shirt at the time that said 'Freedom Bar'... coincidentally... Hay, does that make me your 'ice cream man'...? Soft serve with the racket, I think... Yep... it's pretty amazing, all right. But that doesn't really surprise me much... as far as the 'ineffable and unknowable' 'name of God' is concerned, I think I can tell you what it is... it is written very plainly. It says that his name is 'Wonderful'... and if you can somehow make a 'Wonderful' World out of this, then I'd say that you've pretty much succeeded at 'knowing God'... by 'name'. And somehow, friends... out of all of the 'mucky muck', I can still find a lot of 'Wonderful' here. And believe me, you're all part of that... Before I try to post this, I'd like to leave you with another 'random video' that (H)Al (let's just say, as the 'electronic element' in this scheme) put up, and played, while I was busy posting on this forum and the music had stopped for several minutes prior... in other words, it was quite unexpected... right out of 'left field', you might say... but welcome, nevertheless... It was this one...

Which reminds me of the song that I was reminded of earlier, and should probably play now, in light of the cool rainbow shown with the 'virgin' above... I have a good feeling that they're probably related... Yep... 'skinny' legs... which reminds me of another song... from 1969... I've got my fingers 'crossed' for a Wonderful day... I've got a 'ticket to ride' on the 'magic bus'... It's 'Rock or Bust'... Bow wow wow... Yippee ti yi yaaaaay...Let's pick up with the Heroe Twins, and let me show you something interesting... I told you that I believe that all of these 'myths' are connected, and somehow relate the same basic message; therefore, I can assume that the 'Source' for all of these various myths must be the same. And, I believe that that same 'Source' came from the very beginning, when they were the same story... and then, it 'travelled'... Now, we have seen that the 'maize' depicted at Rosslyn Chapel is most likely the same maize that was known, and symbolized, in the mythology of the Maya, where it did actually grow (unlike Scotland, where we find the symbolism employed). Might we find similar 'connections' between the symbolism of this chapel and that of the Templar Knights, and the symbolism/mythology of the Maya? I think I can... look at this... This carving is said to depict 'two knights on one horse', which is a symbol employed by the Templars... they might be twins... The first knight seems to hold a spear, I think... while the one behind seems to display something like a 'Templar cross', and there is one other 'difference',- the one behind is not dressed in the mail of the knight shown on the horse, and it is, in fact, somewhat 'feminine' looking, in the face and style of hair, if you ask me. Interesting. Other depictions include these... Although, it would appear that in the Rosslyn carving, one of the figures appears to be 'hiding', somewhat, behind the horse, perhaps, and not actually 'mounted', with the other rider... and this reminds me of the Mayan Heroe twins, one of whom was said to be somewhat a 'trickster', I suppose... which reminds me of Venus,- another figure of great importance to the Maya. Except that, with the Mayans, Venus was not a 'love' symbol... she was a warrior, on the order of Mars. More of a female warrior, as Athena was said to be... a 'spear hurler', as a matter of fact, and known also to be the 'original trickster', as it was once taken to be the 'Sun', I understand... kind of a 'twin', you might say... And then, there was this... From the album, "Gypsy Queen"... I had been listening to the Fleetwood Mac version. Oh, well... Now, I should point out once again that the children born in the beginning, were said to have come in 'pairs',- just as the man and woman were a pair. I believe that they were fraternal-type twins which had their own unique DNA, so that there were no 'mal'formed progeny, and this was the source of the Egyptian notions of a 'sister/wife' relationship, which, due to the eventual 'degredation' of the original bloodlines/DNA, as well as its actual 'loss' from the face of the earth, finally led to the sad effects of 'incest' and 'inbreeding' which have become well known. The animals also were paired, two by two, and this is the 'natural' order. The original two were said to be named Genos and Genea... it was said that when man was created, 'God' gave him the same 'helpmeet' (the help that was appropriate to him) that 'God' enjoyed, so this was evidently the 'female' inside the 'mind of God', from which the Greek myth of Athena, born fully grown directly from her father's forehead (or thought, imagination), was sprung. This figure was, then, the 'daughter' of 'God'... directly. And then, there are the double arms of the Cross of Lorraine, which are said to symbolize 'good' and 'evil'... on the same Tree. What can it be, but 'twins'...? As far as the stories go, they run something like this... The master of the vineyard sent his servants, and they were mistreated and ignored; he then sent his son, and he was given the same. What is left to be done, then...? Send in the girl... the daughter... let's see how that works. She does, at least, have a spear... or, she might take out her nightstick, and hurt me real, real bad... lolol.. Well, all right, let me add some text and try to post this again... in regard to Venus, we are told that: In Mayan mythology Venus is not anthropomorphized as the female symbol of erotic love, but as the 'Dark Planet', the Mayan Mars, and also a manifestation of Quetzalcoatl..."Dark matter equals true love", isn't that what you told me, Cleo? I think so... and it may be truer than I thought, symbolically speaking... at any rate, Venus was the planet that mattered the most to the Maya, 'both of worship and of astronomical exercises'. Further... The image given is of the rising of Venus being like a hurled spear... there were times, however, when the planet's rising was the occasion of a positive augury...
Because Venus was the Mayan Mars, and their symbol of war, the most auspicious dates for military initiatives were decided by the planet's position... Venus was believed to be a manifestation of Quetzalcoatl... a figure of the birth/death/re-birth cycle. Thus prophecies associated with the return, or second coming, of Quetzalcoatl are linked to the cycles of Venus. The transit of Venus across the face of the Sun is an event that usually occurs in pairs, usually around eight years apart...So... we should probably get on with that 'Black Hole Sun'. Before I go on with other things this morning, I wanted to make a short addition to my journaling, in regard to the most tragic shooting incident in our 'neighborhood'... it seems that the 'motive' given for the assault on these people was worse than even I might have imagined,- they were 'executed', for being 'professing Christians'. I can barely believe it... and all I can say is that which has already been said... Forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do... And this is most certainly true, in almost every case. It is also written that, "My people perish for a lack of knowledge..." and this is also most certainly true. And as 'bad' as the truth may seem, bloodshed was never the answer... that, if anything, should be apparent to you by now, and that is the thing that you most need to understand. It has been said also that the second, and indeed, the only other, law that you need to know is this... "Love thy neighbor as thy self", and why should that be so very important? I believe that our own 'ascension' may depend upon the extent to which we were willing to help 'raise' the others around us, including the creatures, and the earth itself... "as you would have done unto yourself". You understand...? This does not require one to be a 'Christian', by necessity, but it does call for one to be a 'real boy'... a true man. Something with 'soul'... They say that the shooter was enlisted briefly in the Army, and then fairly quickly 'discharged', with no reason given; I don't say that it means anything in particular, but if I were of a conspiratorial nature, I might be tempted to think that this was... not very nice. To further add to the murkiness of the waters, it was committed in a place of 'higher learning',- I understand that there was a future chemist among them, and every life that was lost was a wasted opportunity for the betterment of the world, in general. I regret this incident for so many reasons. My thoughts are truly with them all, and the future of our 'humanity', as well. I will close briefly, and then re-open with the rest of my notes... On a brighter note then... Let's take another look at Rosslyn Chapel, and the details contained within... Interestingly, the following excerpt mentions the 9 Templar knights that founded the order, and the number 9 also figures within the Mayan mythology in the "Nine and the Thirteen" gods ,with the 9 representing the Lords of the Underworld; this is made more interesting in light of the fact that Enoch's underground 'vault' which holds the Stone of Foundation is composed of 9 levels... with the Stone itself located in the 9th. Anyway, let's look at this... William hired some of Europe’s finest master craftsmen who carved within Rosslyn’s luxuriant friezes and decorative stone carvings plants and leaves and flowers. Included are American plants such as maize and aloe cactus. These plants should have been unknown to St Clair. Colombus did not discover America until 1492, six years after Rosslyn had been completed, American plants and all.
Dozens of miniature Temples of Solomon also dot the wall. Most prevalent at Rosslyn is the visage of the Green Man. His face appears over 100 times. It could be called his ‘chapel’, but this is not to say it was a church. There is some doubt as to whether it was consecrated as a Christian building until 1862. If not a chapel, then what is Rosslyn?
The answer assuredly revolves around the fact that Rosslyn has the original nine knights of the Grail buried in its vaults. It has been suggested it was constructed as a tomb or shrine to house their bodies. This would make Rosslyn a Grail Castle.
The Grail connection is undeniable. William St Clair’s tombstone was recently discovered in Rosslyn Chapel. On his tomb is found the Holy Grail and the Rosy Cross. At the base of the Grail is a depiction of the steps of the Temple of Solomon.
The original nine French knights who founded the Knights Templar excavated the site of Solomon’s Temple in 1,118 AD. They are believed to have discovered some facet of the treasure of the Temple, possibly including the Language of the Birds. With whatever knowledge that they recovered, upon returning to France they inaugurated the Cathedral age with the construction of Chartres Cathedral, a masterpiece of hyperdimensional proportions.
In the centuries following its completion Chartres received massive attention. In 1307 the Templar Order was destroyed. Thousands of the Order’s members were executed. Hundreds went into hiding. St Clair quietly constructed Rosslyn as the final resting place for the original nine Templars. Her secrets were forbidden to all but the initiated.
William St Clair is a man of many M-Istic revelations. What does one expect from a man who was titled ‘the Knight of the Cockle and Golden Fleece’? He would perfectly well understand John the Baptist baptizing Jesus with a silvery cockle-shell, wouldn’t he?
The Holy Grail on the tombstone of Sir William at Rosslyn is an 8-sided or octagonal rosy cross with the flower signifying Christ’s blood in the center. This heart is considered to be the temple where the life of the world dwelt as well as a rose and a cup. The rosy-cross symbol is thought to have been of Gnostic origin, and a part of the secret Gospels guarded by the Templars, and later also claimed by the Cathars.
The Rose-Cross is associated with Jesus. However, it is much older than him. Sir Laurence Gardner dates it to the time of Moses and the Pharaoh Tuthmosis III (c. 1468-1436 B.C.). Pythagoras (600 B.C.) and Plato (400 B.C.) picked up this golden thread which wound its way into the thinking of the Therapeutae, the powerful cult of healers who lived in Qumran at the beginning of the Age of Pisces...
As the guardian of a piece of the True Cross, William St Clair appears to have guarded the Key of Life, which is the same as the 'ring of Solomon', and the key stone or (S)tone of Destiny.
A review is in order here. The True Cross was made from the same ever-green wood as the Tree of Life. The Egyptian name for the Tree of Life was the TET pillar, a ladder to heaven, sacred to Osiris and Horus. This ‘ladder’ is a symbol of that which must be ascended in order to reach Tula. It was described as the ladder by which souls of the dead made their way to the Fields of Peace (which, coincidentally, were always said to lie to the north, the same direction as Tula.)www.bibliotecapleyades.net/merovingians/blueapples/blueapples_13.htmAnd so, we have a terroristic act committed on 9/11, which I believe to be the true historic date of the birth of 'Jesus', and we have yet another bloody act of 'terrorism' committed in, and against, the city of Roseburg, on 10/1 (11)... it doesn't take much to find a 'connection' there, but once again, I am likely only seeing things that aren't really there. Right...? I hope so. And the rest... is very interesting, because the 'Tree of Life' was also known to the Maya, as the Ceiba tree, and it represented the Milky Way,- variously represented as a road, a river, a Cosmic Mother, and specially significant, as a double-headed serpent, or rattlesnake (and I can't help thinking here that the strange twins, TweedleDum and TweedleDee fought over a rattle, so they said, and were frightened witless over the appearance of the 'crow', or 'sacred law',coincidentally)... the Dark Rift... the womb of the universe, which is probably attached to an Omphalos, somewhere... And the Egyptian TET ladder makes a pretty great stairway to heaven, I guess... which looks like it's north... somewhere in the Tulies... in the 'land of the Rising Sonne'... Midnight Sun... Black Sun... A winged musician in a garden... Remember that 'left-handed pitcher' I told you that we could use? I want to show you this, in regard to the left-hand and the Templar knights, particularly the image of two knights on one horse... which turns out to be a 'flying horse'... From 'Deus', by Philip Boast, I quote: “...I ride to London. I sell my horse, everything except the clothes I stand up in….A bearded man asks me what is my wish of the Order of Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ... I throw every penny on the floor; to be the poorest of the poor, Sire!”…. “You are left-handed, Pilgrim?...Always, Sire. We always have a use for left-handed men……”.
After many days of repeated trials and tribulations, the successful applicant undergoes exhaustive military training, being taught to fight both left and right-handed, on foot and on horse, with all weapons. Even the war-horses (from which Shire, Clydesdale, and Suffolk Punch breeds are descended) were taught to kick and bite the foe.
Again I quote from the same book;
“I am fortunate in my timing. My induction into the Templars was swift...because of my left-handedness... In battle we fight two to each horse, a sword to the right and to left and cloaks flying on each side, which is how the legend of the (Templars) winged horse arose...” (It is worth noting that the badge, or “logo” of the Inner Temple in London was at one time a “Pegasus” or winged horse)
Now picture the scene: one thousand shire horses in full war panoply, two thousand swords and lances, two thousand cloaks flying, all at the charge…….
No wonder Saladin was grieved and anxious!
There is further evidence on the seal in the ‘Proceedings of the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin’. In vol.XXVI (1907) an article by Herbert Wood on ‘The Templars in Ireland’ states that Stow and others assert that “The Seal was symbolic of the charity of the Templars in taking up a wounded Knight on their horse. ...in time, the device on the seal was changed to the Agnus Dei with a nimbus and banner…” but no information is given as to when this change occurred, or when the original device was reintroduced.
In ‘The Murdered Magicians’, (P. Partner, O.U.P.) it states that Sir George Buc, Master of the Revels for King James I of England, did not believe the Templars “guilty of any foul and heinous offences”; he saw the device of two Knights on one horse, not as an emblem of poverty, but as “an emblem of love and charity and a true hieroglyph of religious kindness and noble courtesy of soldiers”.www.hantsandiowkt.co.uk/explanations-two-knights-one-horse-sealOn that subject, I 'corrected' for the missing images in my post, above... I don't know why those didn't show up, really; I tried to do more posting, but the computer froze up on me at least four or five times, requiring a re-start, and then I just decided to listen to Mike Harvey's 'Supergold' show on the radio. I had a really good time, and two songs are particularly worth mentioning... as well as the 'dedication' to 'Andre-a'... I just love the name... Of course, Morris Day's "Jungle Love" is guaranteed to get me on my feet, and then, there was this one, by Electric Light Orchestra... this must be one of my all-time favorite dance tunes, for sure... in fact, I'm going to play it again... It looks like we're going to do a 'fast shuffle' with the 'Jungle Boogie'... I got two new 'animal friends' yesterday... yep... A 'chameleon' that I've dubbed... "Boy George", and a stoned(d) crab that will be known as "Buster". The first song on Mike Harvey's show last night was "I'll Tumble For Ya"... lololol... clothing optional, of course, but I'd think about it, if I were you... sand is no joke. I see that my 'imaginary friends' in charge of the sign near my home have changed it to read thusly: Forbidden fruit creates many jams,- and of course, that's true... and quite appropriate to the situation at hand, I'm sure. I'd like to add something to that, on the subject of 'fruit', which these writings seem to be full of... interestingly. Blossoming... and fruit. Now, remember what I told you about 'Athena' and 'her' relation to Venus? Let me share this first chapter of the apocryphal book "The Odes of Solomon" with you... I think that you will enjoy this... Ode 1 The Lord is on my head like a crown, and I shall not be without Him.
They wove for me a crown of truth, and it caused thy branches to bud in me.
For it is not like a withered crown which buddeth not: but thou livest upon my head, and thou hast blossomed upon my head.
Thy fruits are full-grown and perfect, they are full of thy salvation. That's it. Just the four verses... but I think that they say a lot. About fruits, in general... I just wanted to check in quickly, and as soon as I grab some more coffee, I have a few other things that I'd like to get to, relevant to the things that we've just covered. I do want to 'thank you' for hanging around, if you are, or do, and I just want you to know that I really did have some fun here... the time of my life, I guess... And hay... speaking of fruits... I'm sorry... the 'devil' made me do it... I'm missing a shoe... Lololol... How about we re-open with this one...? And I'll add a quote from another apocryphal book, titled, "The Psalms of Solomon," since the Templars were known as the 'Poor' Knights of Solomon... another 'connection', if you will... This is the 18th (and final) chapter... Lord, Thy mercy is over the works of Thy hands for ever; Thy goodness is over Israel with a rich gift. 2Thine eyes look upon them, so that none of them suffers want; 3Thine ears listen to the hopeful prayer of the poor Thy judgments (are executed) upon the whole earth in mercy; 4And Thy love (is) toward the seed of Abraham, the children of Israel Thy chastisement is upon us as (upon) a first-born, only-begotten son, 5To turn back the obedient soul from folly (that is wrought) in ignorance. 6May God cleanse Israel against the day of mercy and blessing, Against the day of choice when He bringeth back His anointed. 7Blessed shall they be that shall be in those days, In that they shall see the goodness of the Lord which He shall perform for the generation that is to come, 8Under the rod of chastening of the Lord's anointed in the fear of his God, In the spirit of wisdom and righteousness and strength; 9That he may direct (every} man in the works of righteousness by the fear of God, That he may establish them all before the Lord, 10A good generation (living) in the fear of God in the days of mercy Selah. 11Great is our God and glorious, dwelling in the highest. 12(It is He) who hath established in (their) courses the lights (of heaven) for determining seasons from year to year, And they have not turned aside from the way which He appointed them 13In the fear of God (they pursue) their path every day, From the day God created them and for evermore. 14And they have erred not since the day He created them Since the generations of old they have not withdrawn from their path, Unless God commanded them (so to do) by the command of His servants.summascriptura.com/html/Solomon_Psalms_of_Gray.htmlThy rod and thy staff, they comfort me... thou restorest my soul...May 'God' bless the reading of the Word... This is Ode number 12, of the "Odes of Solomon"... He hath filled me with words of truth; that I may speak the same; 2 And like the flow of waters flows truth from my mouth, and my lips show forth His fruit. 3 And He has caused His knowledge to abound in me, because the mouth of the Lord is the true Word, and the door of His light; 4 And the Most High hath given it to His words, which are the interpreters of His own beauty, and the repeaters of His praise, and the confessors of His counsel, and the heralds of His thought, and the chasteners of His servants. 5 For the swiftness of the Word is inexpressible, and like its expression is its swiftness and force; 6 And its course knows no limit. Never doth it fail, but it stands sure, and it knows not descent nor the way of it. 7 For as its work is, so is its end: for it is light and the dawning of thought; 8 And by it the worlds talk one to the other; and in the Word there were those that were silent; 9 And from it came love and concord; and they spake one to the other whatever was theirs; and they were penetrated by the Word; 10 And they knew Him who made them, because they were in concord; for the mouth of the Most High spake to them; and His explanation ran by means of it: 11 For the dwelling-place of the Word is man: and its truth is love. 12 Blessed are they who by means thereof have understood everything, and have known the Lord in His truth. Hallelujah.Let me tell you something about the 'lol-thang'... I heard about the 'ha ha', but I just can't relate... 'lol' belongs to the beginnings of the internet-thang, and it belongs to good times with my friend James, who isn't here anymore. I keep lol'ing because it makes me happy... and I really have to keep the associated 'rofl', which imagery I particularly enjoy. How about an ROFLSMK...? Rolling on the floor, slapping my knees... good one... I told you that I have a really long memory... I wasn't foolin'. These "Odes of Solomon" are interesting, since they are 'relevant' to many of the subjects that we are covering, and yet, quite 'unknown' to most. For instance, we have very clear references here to the seven-headed serpent god, or Naga serpent (and notably, its seed), which most 'Christians' don't 'recognize', either... shame... and then, there is an echo of the prophecies of the 'dead bones' that you should surely recognize... and a further reference to the 'foundation' rock, or Stone of Foundation, on which the New Jerusalem... the 'dwelling place of the saints'... is to be built. The 11th verse sounds very much like the allusion to the 'dissolution of elements' that is said to occur, as well... Well, how do you like that? There are a lot of 'connections' there... This is Ode number 22... He who brought me down from on high, also brought me up from the regions below; 2 And He who gathers together the things that are betwixt is He also who cast me down: 3 He who scattered my enemies had existed from ancient and my adversaries: 4 He who gave me authority over bonds that I might loose them; 5 He that overthrew by my hands the dragon with seven heads: and thou hast set me over his roots that I might destroy his seed. 6 Thou wast there and didst help me, and in every place thy name was a rampart me. 7 Thy right hand destroyed his wicked poison; and thy hand levelled the way for those who believe in thee. 8 And thou didst choose them from the graves and didst separate them from the dead. 9 Thou didst take dead bones and didst cover them with bodies. 10 They were motionless, and thou didst give them energy for life. 11 Thy way was without corruption, and thy face; thou didst bring thy world to corruption: that everything might be dissolved, and then renewed, 12 And that the foundation for everything might be thy rock: and on it thou didst build thy kingdom; and it became the dwelling place of the saints. Hallelujah.www.sacred-texts.com/bib/fbe/fbe216.htmThe Greek 'Hydra'... And this is Alice fighting the... Jabberwock. Notice here that the 'Jabberwock' is wearing a vest... it appears to have some 'human' aspects, in other words... Quite curious. As is the appearance of the crab, in this scene... Or not. Now, in regard to the seven-headed serpent/dragon/'god' creature that is referred to in Ode 22, we have this, in Ode 23... And His thought was like a letter; His will descended from on high, and it was sent like an arrow which is violently shot from the bow: p. 132 6 And many hands rushed to the letter to seize it and to take and read it: 7 And it escaped their fingers and they were affrighted at it and at the seal that was upon it. 8 Because it was not permitted to them to loose its seal: for the power that was over the seal was greater than they. 9 But those who saw it went after the letter that they might know where it would alight, and who should read it and who should hear it. 10 But a wheel received it and came over it: 11 And there was with it a sign of the Kingdom and of the Government: 12 And everything which tried to move the wheel it mowed and cut down: 13 And it gathered the multitude of adversaries, and bridged the rivers and crossed over and rooted up many forests and made a broad path. 14 The head went down to the feet, for down to the feet ran the wheel, and that which was a sign upon it. 15 The letter was one of command, for there were included in it all districts; 16 And there was seen at its head, the head which was revealed even the Son of Truth from the Most High Father, 17 And He inherited and took possession of everything. And the thought of many was brought to nought. 18 And all the apostates hasted and fled away. And those who persecuted and were enraged became extinct. 19 And the letter was a great volume, which was wholly written by the. finger of God: 20 And the name of the Father was on it, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, to rule for ever and ever. Hallelujah.Notice that the particular word, 'extinct' is used here, which is... moderately provocative... under the circumstances, I'd say. They became 'extinct'... And the Odes go on to give the reason for this... It's not terribly 'sensational', I'm afraid, but it makes a good deal of sense, really,- something like having an 'intelligent voice', I would think. As opposed to... what? An idiot's voice? Is that the one where a grown person tries their best to imitate a toddler? Because that one doesn't sound at all 'intelligent'... so that can't be what you're looking for. Intelligence, that is... a toddler, maybe... The Dove fluttered over the Messiah, because He was her head; and she sang over Him and her voice was heard: 2 And the inhabitants were afraid and the sojourners were moved: 3 The birds dropped their wings and all creeping things died in their holes: and the abysses were opened which had been hidden; and they cried to the Lord like women in travail: 4 And no food was given to them, because it did not belong to them; 5 And they sealed up the abysses with the seal of the Lord. And they perished, in the thought, those that had existed from ancient times; 6 For they were corrupt from the beginning; and the end of their corruption was life: 7 And every one of them that was imperfect perished: for it was not possible to give them a word that they might remain: 8 And the Lord destroyed the imaginations of all them that had not the truth with them. 9 For they who in their hearts were lifted up were deficient in wisdom, and so they were rejected, because the truth was not with them. 10 For the Lord disclosed His way, and spread abroad His grace: and those who understood it, know His holiness. Hallelujah.Ode number 24... Extinction has to do with the inability of a species to adapt to their 'circumstances', and evidently circumstances will become such that the 'imperfect perished'... 'for it was not possible to give them a word that they might remain...' You understand? It was just not possible to tell them what needed to be done, in order to continue to survive, even though, I believe that it will have been attempted. They can't relate... and at this time, that is going to make the final difference. It is not a 'hate' issue, but as always, a process of 'Nature-al selection' of those most suited to the environment that they find themselves in, and this 'ascension' would seem to indicate somewhat 'elevated' circumstances for us, as a species, if we manage to rise to meet the future that has been imagined for us. And much of that will depend on whether or not you can hear, and 'understand' the messages... of which there have been not a few given. Now, the whole thing with the 'Lagrange points' that my friend keeps referring to are actually tied to what is known as 'The Three-Body Problem' (which is nicely illustrated by the three motorcycle riders on the insurance commercial), and constitute the precise points between two larger bodies in which a smaller body might be held, gravitationally, in a sort of a 'joint orbit' with the two larger bodies which are now holding it, and moving it, in space, with them. The notion of any kind of a 'three-body problem' is not terribly interesting to me, since none of the examples given seem particularly outstanding, and my interests lie in pairs, as you can see... so, I'm not sure why the emphasis on this particular set of configurations. I'm sure there's a point to it, but... I have other interests, for better or worse. I hope that works out for you, though... I'm sure. Oh, and speaking of imaginations, I saw that they are finally re-releasing "Cinderella"... I 'love' that story, too. It's the one where the girl who works all the time finally gets to go to a dance... in a really great dress. Here in my 'laboratory', I have a small 'glass slipper'... just for luck, maybe... It's probably the left one... Hay, 'Andy'... I've been trying to post this since yesterday afternoon, without much luck, but I just had to respond to your remarks about Napoleon Dynamite... that really is one of my favorite movies, just because the 'hero' is so... pretty much not... and these people all have to kind of make up some 'special' out of lives that (let's face it) really just pretty much are'nt. And they do. Plus, it's just really, really funny.., Did you know that every time you play, Eye of the Tiger, I sing "It's the eye of the 'Lyger'..."? And, I've taken to randomly shouting, "Pedro for President..." Viva Pedro... viva el Presidente... and... I like cake. That could have worked. Not to mention he's a hot dancer... in funny boots... It's the little things... that make great movies... and great lives. And one more thing... thank you for the Unchained Melody this morning... I think that might be my number one request right now. Nothing is impossible... with a little help from some 'friends'. I have to get ready to head to the valley this morning, but here's one from me to You... My aim is True... I'm not sure what this is... I guess we'll find out when I post... must have put it here for some reason...

I would, please, like to respond to one more thing before I go on with my remarks for this day... and that is this...
...the man whom these cannot move, whose soul is one, beyond pleasure and pain, is worthy of life in eternity.
I don't know...
Agreed - the power flows from the heart...

Let's begin this evening by beginning a new post,- I intend to see whether or not I can determine if my 'theory' in regard to the serpent-people, or Naga, has 'Buddha-nature', and for that, I will have to take up Mr. Hofstadter's story of the Tortoise and Achilles in A Mu Offering, again... where I think that I left off... But before I do, I just wanted to say, "Thank you, Patron..." Your recent message in regard to 'perfect flaws' was happily received by at least one viewer... I really did have to smile. I can certainly believe in that... I suppose that I should also thank 'Bob' for his recent kindly comments regarding my home state... it is a wonderful place to be... and be from... I always enjoyed a general sense of 'broad-mindedness' here that I later found to be missing in other places. I suppose that's because the people who settled here were the very hardiest of the 'pioneers',- the ones that made it all the way west, and couldn't go any further, in search of their own 'independence' from the 'conventions of society' that existed then, and now. Not to mention the beauty, and 'friendliness' of the country here, as far as being 'sustaining'... and we have sasquatches, and wizard islands in 'bottomless' lakes, and volcanoes, and caves, and... it is a truly magical place, for many reasons. I'm pretty thrilled to call it 'home'... And if there must be 'anarchists' here, then, let them have the tofu and organic juice; they probably donated it to various food kitchens and food banks. Not that it's okay to jack a truck... for whatever reason... I'm just sayin'... we are kind of different here. And nobody really minds that much. Which makes it pretty perfect for me... Oh, and I had a further interesting piece of information to add to my own offerings here regarding the Mayans, and their 'strange place' in all of this,- the name of Pakal, formerly known to us as 'Lord Shield', is actually translated as 'Hunab Pakal', or "Flower Shield". I just thought that was... nice... considering our fondness for roses. And, as far as twins go, I think we're all familiar with this one... Luke, I am your father...And Luke had a twin... sister... and that made them pretty much... Heroe twins. I think that's right. I find that Princess Leah's rams-horned looking hairstyle is, historically speaking, at least, mildly provocative... Now, let me carry on with my thoughts along the lines of applying the principles of Zen to my own 'problem', or 'puzzle', rather... and remember, this particular little 'story' that I am quoting is from a larger piece of 'more serious' work by Douglas R. Hofstadter, titled "Godel, Escher and Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid". The beauty of Mr. Hofstadter's work here is that he took an extremely serious subject (artificial intelligence) and treated it in a such a manner that his ideas would be 'translatable' to someone who was more apt to think in terms of a Lewis Carroll, say... or a story by Lewis Carroll, at least. A child, more or less... not an easy prospect, I wouldn't think... but, I know that I am enjoying it,- and there are parts written in to these little 'stories' that I find to be more than mildly provocative... but, I have a very vivid imagination... Like Mr. Hofstadter, I hope. His stories are pretty good... Tortoise: Can you answer just one question for me? I would like to know this. Why did Bodhidharma come from India into China? Achilles: Oho! Shall I tell you what Joshu said when he was asked that very question? Tortoise: Please do. Achilles: He replied, "That oak tree in the garden." Tortoise: Of course. That's just what I would have said. Except that I would have said it in answer to a different question- namely, "Where can I find some shade from the midday sun?" Achilles: Without knowing it, you have inadvertently hit upon one of the basic questions of all Zen. That question, innocent though it sounds, actually means, "What is the basic principle of Zen?" Tortoise: How extraordinary. I hadn't the slightest idea that the central aim of Zen was to find some shade. Achilles: Oh, no - you've misunderstood me entirely. I wasn't referring to THAT question. I meant your question about why Bodhidharma came from India into China. Tortoise: I see. Well, I had no idea that I was getting into such deep waters. But let's come back to this curious mapping. I gather that any koan can be turned into a folded string by following the method that you outlined. Now what about the reverse process? Can any folded string be read in such a way as to yield a koan? Achilles: Well, in a way. However... Tortoise: What's wrong? Achilles: You're just not supposed to do it that way 'round. It would violate the Central Dogma of Zen strings, you see, which is contained in this picture (picks up a napkin and draws):
koan => messenger => folded string transcription... translation You're not supposed to go against the arrows - especially not the second one. Tortoise: Tell me, does this Dogma have Buddha-nature, or not? Come to think of it, I think I'll unask the question. Is that all right? Achilles: I am glad you unasked the question. But - I'll let you in on a secret. Promise you won't tell anyone? Tortoise: Tortoise's honor. Achilles: Well, once in a while, I actually do go against the arrows. I get sort of an illicit thrill out of it, I guess. Tortoise: Why, Achilles! I had no idea you would do something so irreverent! Achilles: I've never confessed it to anyone before - not even Okanisama. Tortoise So tell me, what happens when you go against the arrows in the Central Dogma? Does that mean you begin with a string and make a koan? Achilles: Sometimes - but some weirder things can happen. Tortoise: Weirder than producing koans? Achilles: Yes... When you untranslate and untranscribe you get SOMETHING, but not always a koan. Some strings, when read out loud this way, only give nonsense. Tortoise: Isn't that just another name for koan? Achilles: You clearly don't have the true spirit of Zen yet. Tortoise: Do you always get stories, at least? Achilles: Not always - sometimes you get nonsense syllables, other times you get ungrammatical sentences. But once in a while, you get what seems to be a koan. Tortoise: It only SEEMS to be one? Achilles: Well, it might be fraudulent, you see. Tortoise: Oh, of course. Achilles: I call those strings which yield apparent koans "well-formed" strings. Tortoise: Why don't you tell me about the decision procedure which allows you to distinguish phony koans from the genuine article? Achilles: That's what I was heading towards. Given the koan, or non-koan, as the case may be, the first thing is to translate it into the three-dimensional string. All that's left is to find out if the string has Buddha-nature or not. Tortoise: But how do you do THAT? Achilles: Well, my master has said that the Great Tutor was able, by just glancing at a string, to tell if it had Buddha-nature or not. Tortoise: But what if you have not reached the stage of the Enlightenment 'Yond Enlightenment? Is there no other way to tell if a string has Buddha-nature? Achilles: Yes, there is. And this is where the Art of Zen Strings comes in. It is a technique for making innumerably many strings, all of which have Buddha-nature. Tortoise: You don't say! And is there a corresponding way of making strings which DON'T have Buddha-nature? Achilles: Why would you want to do that? Tortoise: Oh, I just thought it might be useful. Achilles: You have the strangest taste. Imagine! Being more interested in things that DON'T have Buddha-nature than things that DO. Tortoise: Just chalk it up to my unenlightened state. But go on. Tell me how to make a string that DOES have Buddha-nature. Achilles: Well, you must begin by draping a loop of string over your hands in one of five legal starting positions, such as this one... (Picks up a string, and drapes it in a simple loop between a finger on each hand.) Tortoise: What are the other four legal starting positions? Achilles: Each one is considered to be a SELF-EVIDENT manner of picking up a string. Even novices often pick up strings in these positions. And these five strings all have Buddha-nature. Tortoise: Of course. Achilles: Then there are some String Manipulation Rules, by which you can make more complex string figures. In particular, you are allowed to modify your string by doing some certain basic motions of the hands. For instance, you can reach across like this - and pull this - and twist like this. With each operation, you are changing the the overall configuration of the string draped over your hands. Tortoise: Why, it looks just like making cat's-cradles and such string figures. Achilles: That's right. Now, as you watch, you'll see that some of these rules make the string more complex; some simplify it. But whichever way you go, as long as you follow the String Manipulation Rules, every string you produce will have Buddha-nature. Tortoise: That is truly marvelous. Now what about the koan concealed inside this string you've just made? Would it be genuine?I should take a short break to post, before I lose this much... that would be a shame... So, here I come to add to my previous post (above), only to find that it never actually posted... I mean, here it is. So, I copied it, and I will try to make an addition now, before I try posting again. I may have to copy and paste and start over, but here goes... I've been reading for a day or two... I recently picked up a copy of "The Kybalion", which may be familiar to some of my more 'esoterically-minded' friends (if there are actually any of you out there), but if not, it is a 'hermetic' treatise on the basic tenets of the Science of Hermetism, I suppose you could say. The most interesting thing to me about this particular work is that it echoes all of my own thoughts in regard to the nature of 'God', and our place in 'His' 'creation'... which is the most rewarding part of my studies, these days... the 'confirmations' for my own 'thoughts' in regard to these most serious/sirius of subjects. Hermetics... from the name 'Hermes' or Hermes Trismegistus, also known as 'Thrice-Great' Hermes, or 'Great-Great', although there is so far only speculation as to why this 'name' should be particularly appropriate to the man known as Hermes... also known as Thoth, or the 'Scribe'. I think that I know why he is called 'Thrice-Great'... the 'name' takes its importance from his 'position from the Source', or third in line... son of Enoch, the son of Cain. I believe that Hermes is none other than Enoch's progeny, Mathusal (this is given as the name of Enoch's son, in the second verse of the book 'The Secrets of Enoch'); it is written that Hermes enjoyed a particularly lengthy lifetime, physically, as did Mathusal, and it is also written that Mathusal acted as 'scribe' to Enoch, thereby becoming privy to his science, and 'secrets'. The first verse of the first chapter of this book reads thusly:
(An account of the mechanism of the world showing the machinery of the sun and moon in operation. Astronomy and an interesting ancient calendar. See Chapter 15-17 also 21.)
THERE was a wise man, a great artificer, and the Lord conceived love for him and received him, that he should behold the uppermost dwellings and be an eye-witness of the wise and great and inconceivable and immutable realm of God Almighty, of the very wonderful and glorious and bright and many-eyed station of the Lord's servants, and of the inaccessible throne of the Lord, and of the degrees and manifestations of the incorporeal hosts, and of the ineffable ministration of the multitude of the elements, and of the various apparition and inexpressible singing of the host of Cherubim, and of the boundless light.
2 At that time, he said, when my 165th year was completed, I begat my son Mathusal.Enoch was a 'great artificer'... and notice the remarks in regard to astronomy and 'ancient calendars' here, which find echoes in our South American 'religions'. It is hard to imagine a better position from which to gain an 'understanding' of these 'mysteries', and from thence, to pass them on to those who showed an eagerness, and willingness, to understand them... and likewise to respect them, for the most sacred opportunity to 'share' in the very 'mind of God', and an 'active creation', that these teachings represent. And ultimately, I believe that that really is what we are here for... to continue in an 'active' and 'ongoing creation' that is the 'mind of God' at work, and which we were meant to take an 'active' part in, by our 'hands-on' development of the very 'world soul', which would serve to raise the vibrations of all the life that surrounds us, providing the world, in fact, with an 'active' connection with the 'force' that is 'God'. A grail, if you will... or an operating sort of an 'Ark'. And if, by chance (except that there is no such thing as 'chance'), you've noticed that I used the word 'active' several times in the short paragraph above, it is to emphasize the fact that everything that exists is in motion... at all times. Vibrating... at different levels... but vibrating, nevertheless. Active... and alive. Which is why there is a certain kind of 'magic' in music, I'm sure... it sets the level of vibration, which is picked up by the brain, and the body, and it is 'acted upon', both consciously, and subconsciously, where the vibrations are responded to. This represents the Hermetic 'Law of Vibration'. These Hermetic Laws represent what I like to think of as the 'Natural Laws' of the Universe... and we have covered many here, so far, whether you realize it or not. Let's look at one more, just quickly, called the Law of 'The All is in All'... and from which I can produce something called 'the Law of Immanent Domain'. Which totally works here... Oh, right... and why did Bodhidharma travel from India to China? For "that oak tree in the garden." That was enough, evidently. Doo dah... doo dah...

I would, please, like to respond to one more thing before I go on with my remarks for this day... and that is this... ...the man whom these cannot move, whose soul is one, beyond pleasure and pain, is worthy of life in eternity. I don't know... Agreed - the power flows from the heart... Why, Astraea... speaking of 'imaginary friends',- You're one of the 'bestest'... I'm always happily surprised to find that you have a moment to spend with me, here and there, even if your comments are typically brief,- if not rather enigmatic... and without reading too much into your short 'insight' into my answer to the 'other' poster, I would almost say that you believe that I have no 'heart', and therefore, no 'power'... You may be right, after all, 'friend'... as far as mine goes, what I didn't give away outright was pretty much broken up along the way. I'm not sure what's left... Happily, I'm not really in need of much 'power'... I didn't really come to sell anybody anything, I only came to share my thoughts. And, I had really hoped to find at least one other person that likewise wanted to share their thoughts with me... that tends to the 'forum' notion, whereas all I really have here is kind of a 'diary'. It's a shame that you really don't care to expand on your honest thoughts here... I'm sure you'd be a very interesting person to know. I always have admired your artistic leanings, if not your own conjectures in regard to these subjects that I try to raise here. I understand that we all have our own 'agendas', and while we may actually agree on many things, generally, I'm not entirely certain that we have the same goals in mind. That doesn't prevent my enjoying your company, anyway, regardless the circumstances of our continued 'meetings'... And I have. Most truly. Maybe I'll see you again sometime... soon... I hope so.

I'll tell you what's interesting... I was just looking over my roommate's shoulder at the contents of his computer screen; it was a seemingly endless 'wall of platitudes' having to do with broken hearts, and unreturned 'love', and all of the things that one ought (or ought not) to do in the name of 'love', and all seemingly 'generated' by the same 'avatar', who, also seemingly, must be the 'victim' of this hapless 'love'... all 'honest' emotion, and yet... not one honest face, nor one honest name to go with them. Is the 'suffering' 'true'? The 'victim' isn't... Just once, I'd like to see someone attach a 'real heart' and a 'real face' to some of these 'real feelings'... but they never do. 'Voices carry...' isn't that right? I think that's about right... And that just wouldn't be good for the 'bottom line', would it? Or 'research', either, for that matter... Speaking of 'research', I decided to read a couple of 'passages' from various works before I opened my entry for this morning; this last is from the 'Kybalion' that I referred to earlier, and you will see that it employs the term 'transmutation', which is interesting for me, because that was the same term that I chose to use to describe the process (of 'positive' scientific 'change'), myself, in a previous post here. And these 'small' correlations and correspondences... this 'testimony'... provides me with the 'faith' in the 'correctness' of the rest of the conclusions that I have been able to draw from my own 'research' here. I understand that there can be no 'physical proofs' of certain 'spiritual truths', but what there can be is 'supporting evidence'. You will never 'see' the wind, but the 'supporting evidence' for it can be somewhat overwhelming... lolol... and in much the same way, I am sometimes somewhat overwhelmed by the most obvious, and yet, 'unseen power' of it all. And that, I think, is a pretty fair description of the 'Divine Paradox', don't you think...? Which is, serendipitously, what this quote refers to... From the introduction to Chapter VI... "The half-wise, recognizing the comparative unreality of the Universe, imagine that they may defy its Laws — such are vain and presumptuous fools, and they are broken against the rocks and torn asunder by the elements by reason of their folly. The truly wise, knowing the nature of the Universe, use Law against laws; the higher against the lower; and by the Art of Alchemy transmute that which is undesirable into that which is worthy, and thus triumph. Mastery consists not in abnormal dreams, visions and fantastic imaginings or living, but in using the higher forces against the lower — escaping the pains of the lower planes by vibrating on the higher. Transmutation, not presumptuous denial, is the weapon of the Master." In other words... "Hey, Jude... don't make it bad... Take a sad song, and make it better..." I think I can. But right now, I should continue briefly with my previous story, in which the Tortoise and Achilles are attempting to define some rules for determining the 'genuine-ness' of certain koans, or 'strings', if you will... and the point of thiu]s story, while not likely apparent yet, becomes somewhat clearer in the light of Divine Paradox, as well, because, what we are attempting to do is identify the 'real' or 'genuine' in a Universe that is basically 'unreal' by Nature... which doesn't really seem possible, do you think? And yet... there seems to be a 'law' involved in the Art of Zen Strings which might be called into 'play'... Tortoise: Why, it looks just like making cat's-cradles and such string figures! Achilles: That's right. Now as you watch, you'll see that some of these rules make the string more complex; some simplify it. But whichever way you go, as long as you follow the String Manipulation Rules, every string you produce will have Buddha-nature. Tortoise: That is truly marvelous. Now what about the koan concealed inside this string you've just made? Would it be genuine? Achilles: Why, according to what I've learned, it must. Since I made it according to the Rules, and began in one of the five self-evident positions, the string must have Buddha-nature, and consequently must correspond to a genuine koan. Tortoise: Do you know what the koan is? Achilles: Are you asking me to violate the Central Dogma? Oh, you naughty fellow!
(And with furrowed brow and code book in hand, Achilles points along the string, inch by inch, recording each fold by a triplet of geometric symbols of the strange phonetic alphabet for koans, until he has nearly a napkinful.)
Done!
Tortoise: Terrific. Now let's hear it. Achilles: All right.
A traveling monk asked an old woman the road to Taizan, a popular temple supposed to give wisdom to the one who worships there. The old woman said: "Go straight ahead." After the monk had proceeded a few steps, she said to herself, "He also is a common church-goer." Someone told this incident to Joshu, who said: "Wait until I investigate." The next day, he went and asked the same question, and the old woman gave the same answer. Joshu remarked: "I have investigated that old woman."
Tortoise: Why, with his flair for investigations, it's a shame that Joshu was never hired by the FBI. Now tell me- what you did, I could also do, if I followed the Rules from the Art of Zen Strings, right? Achilles: Right. Tortoise: Now would I have to perform the operations in just the same ORDER as you did? Achilles: No, any old order will do. Tortoise: Of course, then I would get a different string, and consequently, a different koan. Now would I have to perform the same NUMBER of steps as you did? Achilles: By no means. Any number of steps will do. Tortoise: Well, then, there are an infinite number of strings with Buddha-nature - and consequently, an infinite number of genuine koans. How do you know there is any string which CAN'T be made by your rules? Achilles: Oh, yes - back to things which lack Buddha-nature. It just so happens that once you know how to make strings WITH Buddha-nature, you can also make strings WITHOUT Buddha-nature. That is something that my master drilled into me right at the beginning. Tortoise: Wonderful! How does it work? Achilles: Easy. Here, for example - I'll make a string which lacks Buddha-nature...
(He picks up the string out of which the preceding koan was 'pulled', and ties a little teeny knot at one end of it, pulling it tight with his thumb and forefinger.)
This is it no Buddha-nature here. Tortoise: Very illuminating. All it takes is adding a knot? How do you know that the new string lacks Buddha-nature? Achilles: Because of this fundamental property of Buddha-nature: when two well-formed strings are identical but for a knot at one end, then only ONE of them can have Buddha-nature. It's a rule of thumb which my master taught me. Tortoise: I'm just wondering about something. Are there some strings with Buddha-nature which you CAN'T reach by following the Rules of Zen Strings, no matter in what order? Achilles: I hate to admit it, but I'm a little confused on this point myself. At first my master gave me the strongest impression that Buddha-nature in a string was DEFINED by starting in one of the five legal starting positions, and then developing the string according to the allowed Rules. But then later, he said something about somebody-or-other's "Theorem". I never got it straight. Maybe I even misheard what he said. But whatever he said, it put some doubt in my mind as to whether this method hits ALL strings with Buddha-nature. To the best of my knowledge, at least, it does. But Buddha-nature is a pretty elusive thing, you know. Tortoise: I gathered as much from Joshu's 'MU'. I wonder... Achilles: What is it? Tortoise: I was just wondering about those two koans - I mean the koan and its un-koan - the ones which say "This mind is Buddha" and "This mind is not Buddha" - what do they look like, when turned into strings via the Geometric Code? Achilles: I'd be glad to show you.
(He writes down the phonetic transcriptions, and then pulls from his pocket a couple of pieces of string, which he carefully folds inch by inch, following the triplets of symbols written in the alphabet. Then he places the finished strings side by side.)
You see, here is the difference. Tortoise:They are very similar, indeed. Why, I do believe there is only one difference between them; it's that one of them has a little knot on its end! Achilles: By Joshu, you're right. Tortoise: Aha! Now I understand why your master is suspicious. Achilles: You do? Tortoise: According to your rule of thumb, AT MOST ONE of such a pair can have Buddha-nature, so you know right away that one of the koans must be phony. Achilles: But that doesn't tell which one is phony. I've worked, and so has my master, at trying to produce these two strings by following the String Manipulation Rules, but to no avail. Neither one ever turns up. It's quite frustrating. Sometimes you begin to wonder... Tortoise: You mean, to wonder if either one has Buddha-nature? Perhaps neither one of them has Buddha-nature - and neither koan is genuine! Achilles: I never carried my thoughts as far as that - but you're right - it's possible, I guess. But I think you should not ask so many questions about Buddha-nature. The Zen master Mumon always warned his pupils of the danger of too many questions. Tortoise: All right, no more questions. Instead, I have a sort of hankering to make a string myself. It would be amusing to see if what I come up with is well-formed or not. Achilles: That could be interesting. Here's a piece of string. (He passes one to the Tortoise.) I've got to get ready to go to work this morning, so I have to break here... but this is as good place as any. If you'll notice, the story above also included a reference to the Hermetic Principle of 'the All is in All', which I hadn't realized myself until I began to type it out... it was one of those 'happy coincidences' which don't actually seem to exist. Believe it or not, you can get a lot out of these stories... aside from knotted string... And about that 'knot'... does that mean it's 'real'... or 'knot real'...? Lololol... Oh, one more thing... I got to see the little video production of 'The Rock' dancing,- I thought that was pretty great. It looked like a lot of 'fun'... I'm not that good at it, but I just enjoy doing it. Someday, I might even get to dance with somebody again... looking for two right feet... Word...

Well... now that we've gotten to the subject of Hermes Trismegistus, let's talk about something else that is associated with Hermes, and that is the most hermetic "Book of Thoth". This book is said to have contained the most arcane 'wisdom' or 'mystery teachings' of Hermes, who was, and is, considered to be the greatest authority in these matters in all history,- he 'wrote the book', so to speak... Now, there is a 'book' associated with this 'teaching', but it is not generally agreed as to what, or where, it may be,- if it, in fact, exists at all at this time. I believe that it does, and that it is of such antiquity, that it is given in 'symbol form', as were the earliest 'alphabets', and that this particular 'symbol form' took the more particular form of 'pictures' which incorporated the most expressive of symbolism in order to tell this story, which, due to the fact that the 'accomplishment' or 'conclusion' of the story was to remain as a... surprise... for various reasons, not the least of which was to show, beyond any further doubt, that the 'mind' that is 'God' is omnipotent, and in full control of the ultimate 'destinies' of his 'creation'. Due to the fact that the truth is just as I have pointed out to you before, that you are very much a 'figment of His imagination' which exists as definite, and yet changing, sets of 'measurements' that 'reflect' your 'fact' in 'actual existence', which, may mean that 'you' are more or less a 'hologram' of that 'thought', that is being projected into the third dimension. That 'form' is not a 'cartoon', however, which a 'hologram' might be considered to be... but, further due to the fact that you share the same 'animating spirit' with that 'magnetic energy' which is 'the Mind of God', the 'form' has 'energy' or 'spirit', which 'energy' is further channeled through the 'processors' of 'mind' and 'heart' (intellect/thought which connects us with the 'Great Mind' and soul/feeling which connects us (more, or less) with the 'Great Spirit'). As I was saying, due to these facts, we have 'free choice' here, if not 'free Will' (since Destiny also plays its part), but in the end, it is THAT Mind in which we live, and move, and have our being, and it is in THAT Mind that 'Justice' was conceived, for the remedy of 'free choice'. This final 'Justice' and 'righting' of things that were set in motion wrongly, due to the luxury of 'free choice' (the knowledge of 'good' and 'evil', which Eva invoked, when she freely chose to do that which was in 'opposition' to that which had been 'commanded') will prove beyond a doubt that your 'free choices' are in no way paramount to the greater Imagination of 'God'. Rather long-winded, but nevertheless... This 'Book of Thoth' tells the story, from the beginning of Time, of the 'journey' that will be undertaken, and that by a 'fool' (one with no worldly 'advantages' or superior knowledge, let's say), that will culminate in the Victory of the 'questor' and all that they represent, as well as the 'recreation' of all that went 'wrong', and the further realization of our true 'destinies' as creatures of a Greater Evolution. The story is told in a set of cards... that are now known as the Tarot/Taro. The true history of the 'cards' is highly in dispute, as it has, so far, been 'undetermined' as to their origin, or 'meaning', and many 'versions' of the cards have been produced, which vary the symbolism slightly, with newer versions reflecting various 'changes', due to the 'school of thought' that the deck reflected. I think that I had some insights which might go to show how they may be 'right' and yet 'wrong' as to their theories, and interpretation of certain symbolism, which would tend to indicate the true nature, and conclusion, of these most ancient 'mysteries', and the cards are (if nothing else) extremely interesting for the symbolism, which is 'valid' in any case, for the wisdom that they contain. Walking like an Egyptian... And, let me just add to that, that "Astraea" is "Justice"... or ought to be, by all rights... Justice... lol... I just 'love' this one... I brought up 'The Fool', and what do you know? It's a 'Zero'... That dog just... 'follows him like a puppy,' don't you think? Lolol... And the bag that he is carrying... those are his possessions, I'd wager,- he looks like something of a 'vagabond' to me. And isn't that what 'Cain' was said to be? A 'vagabond in the earth'... among other things, I'm sure. And 'fools rush in, where angels fear to tread and wise men never go', isn't that right? I think that's about right. He seems somewhat oblivious to what seems 'obvious' to everybody else... like the edge of the cliff, for instance. And, he seems to be 'happy' enough,- almost joyful. I understand that it will 'take you farther'. I believe that's probably true. The particular symbolism of 'the fool' must be appropriate, in some way... meaningful, or it wouldn't appear in this sequence at all, if it is to tell part of the bigger story, and so... there must be some 'connection'. Now, I told you that the story-pictures, if not the actual deck of cards now known as the Tarot, had their origins in Egypt, and I believe that that is true... since the 'facts' of the story were related by Hermes, in Egypt, about a character that he was very familiar with, and that makes the 'origin' of the 'cards' Egyptian, without a doubt. As far as actual 'historical' ties that might be 'verified', they are also said to bear a good deal on the Albigensians and their particular history, interestingly, and are first thought to have appeared in their 'current' form in Florence, and Vienna. I believe that these 'decks' of 'cards' are only the means of continuing to present, to a select few, the symbol-story of "The Book", in order to pass that information (as it could, or would, be understood at that time) to their own 'initiates', and the variances in the symbolism, where they exist, are due, perhaps, to 'new' information on the subject, or a reflection of the 'understanding' and symbolism employed by a certain people at a certain time in history. They do, under all circumstances, tell the prophetic story of the conclusion of a journey... and tell the 'seeker' what they need to know to reach the 21st 'arcanum', or... Black Jack... winner, or, victor. And so the 'garland' of roses, or laurel leaves, as you would have it; to 'crown' the winner, just as Alice was 'crowned' at the 'conclusion' of her own 'journey' through the 'looking glass' (which, interestingly, relates to another one of our 'cards', which we will come to presently. Interestingly, she was 'crowned' in the Ninth Chapter of the story, which seems to find its own echoes in the nine vaults of Enoch, and the 'Nine Gates' that are the basis of the story of another similar journey... This story incorporates all of history, so far, even into these times... the basic 'facts' of which (in various particulars) have been incorporated into all myth, and all theology, in diverse (if not all) places... and and these mysteries have been known, and 'tended', by a select few throughout history, as 'overseers', I imagine, and the possessors of some unique information which would tend to 'verify' the identity of this 'person' at the time of their appearance, which, it seems, was generally known. The Magi were quite accurate in their assessment of the timing of the one to be the Christ, and let's not forget that even the Vatican itself operates one, or more, observatories for some purpose... star gazing, I'm sure. And, I would further postulate, that this 'person' is most likely the 'nobody' or 'fool', if you will, that is signified by the symbolism of the 'cards'. The 'nobody'... zero. And that's why this is as good a place as any to put this particular information, which (in one way) I am greatly excited to do... And I have to wonder if the poster 'Saxon' already knew that... They say that the word 'Tarot' has its roots in two Egyptian words, which are 'Tar' or 'road' and 'Ro' or 'king' or 'royalty', which is evidently how Phe-Ro(e) got his title. This particular combination of words would combine to create a 'Royal Road'... which, while probably true enough, also seems somewhat paradoxical, in light of the nature of 'the fool'. I understand that there is a Principle involved in paradoxes of this type... and yet, as exciting as all of this new information has become to me to think about, I can't help thinking that I need to finish up our lesson on Zen Strings... I hate to leave these loose ends... Well, good morning, friends... I'd like to begin by making just a few more general remarks in regard to the Tarot/Taro that you may find interesting. I would like to point out that the Tarot is regarded by most 'authorities' on the subject to belong to the most ancient of Hebrew arcana,- the Kabala. Which really is interesting, because as I've also pointed out to you, Korah was said to have studied this 'Torah' for forty years prior to the 'exodus' (or 'leading out') of the Jews from Egypt; I wondered how that was possible, but if we accept the truth of the statement (and I do), then there must have been a 'book' or 'body of knowledge' that he did study, and I would further posit that it was this 'Book of Thoth', or Tarot/Taro, which even looks somewhat like the word Torah, if you transpose a couple of letters. Kind of funny how that works, don't you think? Me, too... And if this is true, and this is the 'book' that he 'studied' prior to those events that transpired with which we are (only slightly) more familiar, then he understood what was going to happen. He understood the nature of the 'mission', so to speak... and it was his great 'faith' in the message, and the future that it bring, that brought us to this 'journey'... and now, it is left to the great 'faith', understanding, and imagination of someone else to complete it. And, there are yet others who understand the message... remembering that 'he is not slack concerning his promises, as men count slackness', but rather, that all things have their natural 'season' in which seeds that have been sown must grow, and then ripen, before a 'harvest' can be made, and a certain 'time' has been allotted to these things. They have been content to allow that time to pass, and on the other side of things, I imagine that there is a hope that somehow, the train might be 'de-railed', so to speak, but... I personally believe that there is still a 'light at the end of the tunnel'... which is most likely a train, after all... ROFL... Lookin' good, Steven Tyler... lol... In further regard to this Tarot, as a tool for 'divination' purposes... due to the fact that this most arcane set of symbolism is a 'map' of the 'future', I believe that certain types of persons that are suitably 'wired' for the 'transmission' of 'spiritual information' (knowledge on another 'level' of consciousness, say) are able to utilize this facet of their purpose, in order to tap into the natures of other 'futures', since the cards include, implicitly, all futures... which is indicated by the Moon, symbolic of the souls of men. Which is a pretty good 'trick', really, and one more evidence of their 'universal' properties. Now, about the 'Fool'... I would like to point out just one or two more things about that 'card' before we go on, and the first is his clothing (yes, I noticed),- his 'blouse' is adorned with 8-pointed stars, which themselves are symbolic of the 'Blazing Star', one of the three heavenly bodies that make up the 'trinity' of Sun, Moon, Star... and aracana 17... 8... which number is also significant of the Ogdoad, or Eighth Sphere, of Sophia... Wisdom... and might equally signify our 8th Day. Eight is also the number given to 'Messiah', coincidentally, with arcana number 8 being that of Justice. Interesting... The dog that accompanies him is said by most to be 'attacking' his legs, and in some versions it is even a tiger that is following him; I don't think the dog looks particularly vicious, though,- as a matter of fact, he looks pretty happy. It appears to me that the dog is a sort of 'companion' to this person, that they are actually 'connected' in some way, and if we consider some obvious symbolism, the dog may indicate the 'Dog Star' of Sirius, which I believe that it does. Sirius was of great importance to the Egyptians, particularly, and I will quote briefly from another website, for convenience... By the ancient Egyptians, Sirius was revered as the Nile Star, or Star of Isis. Its annual appearance just before dawn at the June 21 solstice, heralded the coming rise of the Nile, upon which Egyptian agriculture depended. This particular helical rising is referred to in many temple inscriptions, wherein the star is known as the Divine Sepat, identified as the soul of Isis.
For example, in the temple of Isis-Hathor at Dedendrah, Egypt, appears the inscription, "Her majesty Isis shines into the temple on New Year's Day, and she mingles her light with that of her father on the horizon." The Arabic word Al Shi'ra resembles the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian names suggesting a common origin in Sanskrit, in which the name Surya, the Sun God, simply means the "shining one."
For up to 35 days before and 35 days after our sun conjuncts the star Sirius ~ close to July 4 ~ it is hidden by the sun’s glare. The ancient Egyptians refused to bury their dead during the 70 days Sirius was hidden from view because it was believed Sirius was the doorway to the afterlife..
In mythology the dog Sirius is one of the watchmen of the Heavens, fixed in one place at the bridge of the Milky Way, keeping guard over the abyss into incarnation. Its namesake the Dog Star is a symbol of power, will and steadfastness of purpose, exemplifying the initiate who has succeeded in bridging the lower and higher consciousness.www.souledout.org/cosmology/sirius/siriusgodstar.htmlWell, there now... the dog 'keeps guard over the abyss into incarnation', and yet, the dog seems to 'welcome' the 'fool' to the 'abyss'... with joy... and let's face it, the 'card' definitely shows these two next to an 'abyss', which is also rather meaningful, under the circumstances. The dog is going to follow him home, I think... And, New Year's Day... that seems to be of importance, also, so we'll just keep that in mind. Remember, too, that their New Year's Day wasn't our New Year's Day. The Fool holds in one hand a white rose, which the symbolic meaning traditionally stands for purity, innocence, spirituality and sympathy, as well as remembrance, honor and reverence. These are also interesting points to note, under the circumstances of our 'story', and it is further interesting to point out that the Red Queen was frantic in her efforts to paint the white roses over with red paint... or blood, as the case may be. No honor, no reverence, no remembrance. And that also seems to be true, but... I remember... you... The imagery used in this video is particularly striking to me... you see the 'vagabond'? He was obviously not always 'homeless', but he now wanders through a black-and-white world alone, with some 'pictures' in his possession, that remind him of... someone... There is a rather conspicuous shot of him passing over a manhole cover, which resembles the Mayan Calendar... to represent 'time', and perhaps even this particular 'time' as it has been prophesied by the Maya, and then, of course, there is the use of the 'fire' at the end, which might suggest our Phoenix, or the 'renovation by Fire' that is spoken of. Well, maybe we should press on now...

Ooooh... good one... "I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that... I'm gonna be your Number One..." Lolol... So, let's move on to our Number One... the Magician... or, Scientist... The Magician, astrologically speaking, signifies Aries... or Mars... in which, most coincidentally, "Everything is Immanent". Remember what I told you about the 'law' of "Immanent Domain"? Yep... Immanence has the meaning of 'remaining within, inherent, abiding within', and it refers to the Hermetic Principle of "The All is in All". We abide... within that Mind... that Life of All Life...and it abides within us. And it is this stage of 'beginning', with Aries, in which "everything is immanent". The 'spiral' begins at this point. It is the symbol of Will, which is Aries... and Aries, or Mars, most interestingly, serves as the 'polar opposite' of Venus, which is why the Mayans saw Venus in the warlike-aspect of her 'twin', Mars. But, we would prefer to "make love, not war", and so we cast Venus in a more agreeable aspect as the opposite figure of 'love' between brothers, and partners. It is also known as the 'Morning and Evening Star', further reflecting its 'dual' nature. Another interesting version of the introduction to this song is given here... Very interesting... "Spirits of Ancient Egypt, echoes of sunken Spain..." Indeed. Before we continue on with our 'Magician', I have something to say on a totally unrelated subject... Hay, Andy... do I know Captain Kangaroo? I'll tell you something... my greatest aspiration as a kid was to have a set of 64 Binney & Smith Crayola Crayons. Really. And then, there was Bunny Rabbit, who proved the older 'wisdom' of Bugs Bunny, which tells us that: Carrots are Divine, You get a dozen for a dime... It's Maaaaagiiiiic...Carrots grow under ground... And another thing... everything that I ever knew about ping pong balls, I learned from Mr. Moose... every kid should be so lucky. I had a great time listening to the 'Super Gold' request show last night... last week, he played my 'request' by proxy, I guess... I was hoping for some 'Ballroom Blitz', and what do you know? I didn't hear 'my song' this week, so I'm going to play it now... maybe it will catch on, somewhere down the road... And then, I had still another observation or two to add in regard to our 'Fool', and the first is the 'number' of the card, which is given as either a 0 or a 22... the main reason given for assigning it the number of 22 being the needed number for a correspondence between the cards of the Greater Arcana and the letters of the Hebrew alphabet, for which there do appear to be certain correspondences that might be made, just as there are astrological correspondences that might be made, which is the 'beauty' of a Great book... you can always find something more within it, that had gone unnoticed before. This is one of those books. At any rate, I believe that regardless of any alphabetic correspondences that might be made, there is a further, and more 'occult' reason for the double-numbering, and that is that the number 22 carries a double-significance with this particular figure. It will serve as one of the 'identifiers' of the 'fool', as far as that goes,- 0 being the 'first' number in the sequence, from one end, and 22 being the final, or last, card in the sequence, which 'closes' the Mystery, and this most obviously relates to the 'Alpha and the Omega'... the 'first and the last'. Further, I believe that 22 is a 'personal' number in regard to this figure; I can 'connect' it (in actual fact) with the number of a year, or years, that could be associated with them as 'important', but that is only my guess. In regard to these things, it seems to be as good as any, since no one authority seems to hold a real 'truth' about them, although many will go so far as to say that what they do know about it, can't be repeated, which serves to make them all the more interesting... The reason for that being, I assume, that the 'conclusion' that Zimmer101's 'audience' is clamoring for, hadn't yet been realized, and that in order for things to find their 'natural conclusion', there was yet a necessity for secrecy, in regard to what needed to be a 'suprise ending', if you see what I mean, although there will be some that are hardly 'surprised'. I'd like to be one of those... For the 'Fool', I like this one... Now, about the 'staff' that this 'youth' is carrying, over his shoulder here, with his satchel attached to one end,- I believe that this is the same staff that the Hermit later carries,- as the journey goes on, the staff is lowered from the youth's shoulder, to a position of support for a more aged wayfarer. It is the same staff that is said to symbolize messages, and communication... and upon which 'communication' he now leans more heavily. This symbolism of the staff finds an echo in the 'Gnostic' work, The Thunder: Perfect Mind... I am a slave of him who prepared me and ruler of my offspring. He produced me earlier yet on my birthday. He is my offspring to come, and from him is my power. I am the staff of his power in his youth and he the rod of my old age, and whatever he wants happens to me. I am a silence incomprehensible and an idea remembered often. I am the voice whose sound is manifold and word whose appearance is multiple. I am the utterance of my name.Just another one of those interesting 'connections' that I am able to find within other 'myths', so to speak... I love a good story. Also notice in the final line the reference to the 'spoken Word', which is 'creative' in nature... Now, in the card numbered One, which is our 'Magician', we find that our 'staff' or 'rod' has turned into a 'baton', as if we were going to begin the 'orchestration' of something, and indeed, I believe that this is the simplest way to look at this card... We begin 'the show' which follows with the upraised baton, and the 'elements' before us with which we can begin our Great Work of transmutation... real Magic... which is what the 'crest of Lambspring', or the "Book of Lambspring", represents. The 'adept' (Magician) philosopher, who succeeds in the transmutation of the body, as the physical result of a spiritual 'marriage' or 'union' of the 'sublime' 'elements' of heart and spirit, in the manner of an alchemical process, you might say. And this does actually seem to be indicated by the 'Royal Road' of the Tarot, and the actual and 'anticipated' end of 'perfection' which is actually hoped for, and labored toward, by many men throughout all ages. And the legend of the crest says this: "I come from a noble family". Yes. They do. It is, after all, a 'Royal Road'... which makes the Fool a somewhat 'prodigal son', I think. For the Magician, which we'll continue with in a minute, I like this one... "Come and see the show... it's a DYNAMO..." Lololol... Please forgive the short 'diversion' that I chose to eliminate from the 'journal', after all... it was fairly unworthy, but the point was supposed to have been that some people appear to me to be fairly superficial, and that my thoughts might be more 'popular', let's say, if I were more... superficial in my presentation, and further, that there is an uncomfortable 'feeling' I get about society's current infatuation with 'youth' that exceeds a normal desire to hang onto some of their own a little bit longer, and... I couldn't help remarking. At any rate, I will continue to travel on to a 'different drum', I guess... which reminds me of our Tortoise, for some reason... His methods may not be exactly 'kosher', according to the 'Central Dogma', but they seem to produce some interesting results, nevertheless. I think that I should wrap that up for you now, since there are likely only a few more strings to tie up there, and then we can find some 'enlightenment' that might help us to solve this puzzling matter of 'Buddha-nature'... I hope so... the suspense has me hanging by a thread... Tortoise: ...I have a sort of hankering to make a string myself. It would be amusing to see if what I come up with is well-formed or not. Achilles: That could be interesting. Here's a piece of string. (He passes one to the Tortoise.) Tortoise: Now, you realize that I don't have the slightest idea what to do. We'll just have to take potluck with my awkward production, which will follow no rules and will probably wind up being completely undecipherable. (Grasps the loop between his feet and, with a few simple manipulations, creates a complex string which he proffers wordlessly to Achilles. At that moment, Achilles' face lights up.) Achilles: Jeepers Creepers! I'll have to try out your method myself. I have never seen a string like this! Tortoise: I hope it is well-formed. Achilles: I see it's got a knot at one end. Tortoise: Oh - just a moment! May I have it back? I want to do one thing to it. Achilles: Why, certainly. Here you are.
(Hands it back to the Tortoise, who ties another knot in the same end. Then the Tortoise gives a sharp tug, and suddenly both knots disappear.)
Achilles: What happened? Tortoise: I wanted to get rid of that knot. Achilles: But instead of untying it, you tied another one, and then BOTH disappeared! Where did they go? Tortoise: Tumbolia, of course. That's the Law of Double Nodulation.
(Suddenly, the two knots reappear from out of nowhere - that is to say, Tumbolia.)
Achilles: Amazing. They must lie in a fairly accessible layer of Tumbolia if they can pop into and out of it so easily. Or is all of Tumbolia equally inaccessible? Tortoise: I couldn't say. However, it does occur to me that burning the string would make it quite improbable for the knots to come back. In such a case, you could think of them as being trapped in a deeper layer of Tumbolia. Perhaps there are layers and layers of Tumbolia. But that's neither here nor there. What I would like to know is how my string sounds, if you turn it back into phonetic symbols. (As he hands it back, once again, the knots pop into oblivion.) Achilles: I always feel so guilty about violating the Central Dogma... (Takes out his pen and code book, and carefully jots down the many symbol-triplets which correspond to the curvy involutions of the Tortoise's string; and when he is finished, he clears his voice.) Ahem. Are you ready to hear what you have wrought? Tortoise: I'm willing if you're willing. Achilles: All right. It goes like this:
A certain monk had a habit of pestering the Grand Tortue (the only one who had ever reached the Enlightenment 'Yond Enlightenment) by asking whether various objects had Buddha-nature or not. To such questions Tortue invariably sat silent. The monk had already asked about a bean, a lake, and a moonlit night. One day, he brought to Tortue a piece of string, and asked the same question. In reply, the Grand Tortue grasped the loop between his feet, and --
Tortoise: Between his feet? How odd! Achilles: Why should YOU find that odd? Tortoise: Well, ah... you've got a point there. But please go on! Achilles: All right.
The Grand Tortue grasped the loop between his feet and, with a few simple manipulations, created a complex string which he proffered wordlessly to the monk. At that moment, the monk was enlightened.
Tortoise: I'd rather be twice-enlightened, personally. Achilles: Then it tells how to make the Grand Tortue's string, if you begin with a string draped over your feet. I'll skip those boring details. It concludes this way:
From then on, the monk did not bother Tortue. Instead, he made string after string by Tortue's method; and he passed the method on to his own disciples, who passed it on to theirs.
Tortoise: Quite a yarn. It's hard to believe it was really hidden inside my string. Achilles: Yet it was. Astonishingly, you seem to have created a well-formed string right off the bat. Tortoise: But what did the Grand Tortue's string look like? That's the main point of this koan, I'd suppose. Achilles: I doubt it. One shouldn't "attach" to small details like that inside koans. It's the spirit of the whole koan that counts, not little parts of it. Say, do you know what I just realized? I think, crazy though it sounds, that you may have hit upon that long-lost koan which describes the very origin of the Art of Zen Strings! Tortoise: Oh, that would be almost too good to have Buddha-nature. Achilles: But that means that the great master - the only one who ever reached the mystical state of the Enlightenment 'Yond Enlightenment - was named 'Tortue', not 'Tutor'. What a droll name! Tortoise: I don't agree. I think it's a handsome name. I still want to know how Tortue's string looked. Can you possibly recreate it from the description given in the koan? Achilles: I could try... Of course, I'll have to use my feet, too, since it's described in terms of foot motions. That's pretty unusual. But I think I can manage it. Let me give it a go. (He picks up the koan and a piece of string, and for a few minutes twists and bends the string in arcane ways until he has the finished product.) Well, here it is. Odd, how familiar it looks. Tortoise: Yes, isn't that so? I wonder where I saw it before? Achilles: I know! Why, this is YOUR string, Mr. T! Or is it? Tortoise: Certainly not. Achilles: Of course not - it's the string which you first handed to me, before you took it back to tie an extra knot in it. Tortoise: Oh, yes - indeed it is. Fancy that. I wonder what that implies. Achilles: It's strange, to say the least. Tortoise: Do you suppose my koan is genuine? Achilles: Wait just a moment... Tortoise: Or that my string has Buddha-nature? Achilles: Something about your string is beginning to trouble me, Mr. Tortoise. Tortoise (looking most pleased with himself and paying no attention to Achilles): And what about Tortue's string? Does it have Buddha-nature? There are a host of questions to ask! Achilles: I would be scared to ask such questions, Mr. T. There is something mighty funny going on here, and I'm not sure I like it. Tortoise: I'm sorry to hear it. I can't imagine what's troubling you. Achilles: Well, the best way I know to explain it is to quote the words of another old Zen master, Kyogen. Kyogen said:
"Zen is like a man hanging in a tree by his teeth over a precipice. His hands grasp no branch, his feet rest on no limb, and under the tree another person asks him: 'Why did Bodhidharma come to China from India?' If the man in the tree does not answer, he fails; and if he does answer, he falls and loses his life. Now what shall he do?"
Tortoise: That's clear; he should give up Zen, and take up molecular biology.
