You hit it all very throughly gf. Like with a battleaxe. LOL Yep. About that battle-axe, now... there seem to be plenty to go around. One for Inanna, and one for Marduk Kurios; it is a double-headed axe... much like the double-headed eagle... This is just an interesting image, that I'd like to put into a thread about 'heraldry,' which I kind of touched on elsewhere, but all of those pictures really are worth somebody else's words... they tell some very old stories, as well... And about those eight arms... they find their correspondence in a sigil... for Shammash... the Sun/Sonne... the eight-armed star is for Inanna (straight arms) and the eight-armed star with 'waving' arms is for Shammash. It actually looks quite a bit like an octopus. They are very old symbols... much like the old battle-axe, I'm sure...

There's the fleur de lis in there too. Or should I say the flame in the 'sites' of the rams horn.

Now, let's see if we can find our 'wheel' somewhere, shall we? I found one... at Rosslyn Chapel. Of all places... It looks like this... Now, considering what we just learned, what do you think this is doing here...?

Here's another image, alchemical in Nature, that we can add to the mix, on this thread... you'll notice that it has six points, as does von Flue's, as well as the bearded face (Zer Anpin?) that we just read about in the Sefer Yetzirah. This is marked by certain symbols and astrological signs, probably indicative of certain 'signs' or 'times'... I believe...
