So to try and condense that most confusing post what I am saying is the *theme* and the story arc revolves around the zodiac. When Samson matures (the sun at mid-day/the summer solstice) he goes for the philistine woman and has the incident with beating the lion and drinking the honey. Leo & Cancer. The next part of the story is the philistines harvest Samson burns up. So the story takes place during the day/summer. Samson the hero *snork* however is consumed by the adversary and every one of his 'victories' is from the opposing signs point of veiw. Saturn rules capricorn and aquarius across from Cancer & Leo. The next part of the story being harvest which is Virgo the virgin ... his bride ... yadda ... *wink* Point being - Samson - Shimshon - the sun - is consumed by an adversarial spirit. Or Saturn. We've all heard the rumors about that ... *cough* Blackjack ... But... *cough*... what does it all mean? I understand, for the most part, your similes... if not your 'smilies'... maybe it's one of those 'how not to do it' stories... Or, maybe you're trying to say that the 'hero' of this story is somewhat an anti-hero... if you will... And we've all heard the 'rumors' about that, too... Kind of a black sheep, maybe... At any rate, I find that the most intriguing part of the story is the 'riddle'... after all, we're 'gaming' here, aren't we? More or less... I hope this wasn't the 'ace up your sleeve'... "What is sweeter than honey and stronger than a lion in Samson's riddle? Samson's riddle is be found in Judges 14:14. ... So he said to them, “Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet.” But they could not tell the riddle in three days. (NASB) Judges 14:14" The answer to that is the 'crux' of the matter, so to speak... and while I am willing to go so far as to say that the positions of the planets, as given by you above, may have something to do with the 'timing' of the 'answer,' but it is not 'the answer.' And, as far as 'Samson' goes... Modern Shimshon Tiberian Šimšôn, meaning "man of the sun"), Shamshoun (Arabic: شمشون Shamshūn/Šamšūn), or Sampson (Greek: Σαμψών), is one of the last of the Judges of the ancient Israelites mentioned in the Hebrew Bible (Book of Judges chapters 13 to 16).
According to the biblical account, Samson was given supernatural strength by God in order to combat his enemies and perform heroic feats such as killing a lion, slaying an entire army with only the jawbone of an ass, and destroying a pagan temple. Samson had two vulnerabilities, however: his attraction to untrustworthy women and his hair, without which he was powerless. These vulnerabilities ultimately proved fatal for him. From the Wikipedia article... It does seem as if Samson were 'plagued' with certain aspects of 'himself' that prevented his being a True 'winner'... But he did make a good example... or should have... And, about that 'carcass' full of 'honey'... that's an allegory for sure... let's look at that: So Samson went down to Timnah with his father and mother, and came to the vineyards of Timnah. Now to his surprise, a young lion came roaring against him. And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done. Then he went down and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well. After some time, when he returned to get her, he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion. And behold, a swarm of bees and honey were in the carcass of the lion. He took some of it in his hands and went along, eating. When he came to his father and mother, he gave some to them, and they also ate. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the carcass of the lion.As an allegory, let's replace 'Samson,' the 'man of the sun' with Moses... man of the burning bush... A 'young lion' came rushing against him (Korah, say), as he was endeavoring to procure a 'bride' that didn't really 'belong' to him,- she was a 'stranger' to his 'parents,' or forbears... Now, he destroyed the young lion... (as one would have torn apart a 'young goat,' it says... how do you like that?) as Korah was 'destroyed'... but within the 'carcass' a swarm of 'bees' (Merovingian bees?) had placed their 'honey,' which he 'fed' his parents on, without telling them from whence it 'came,' since, if they 'knew,' they would have been... not so hungry, maybe... And it was True-ly 'sweet in the mouth, and bitter in the belly (when the knowledge has been 'digested')... Blackjack, indeed...

There's one more thing I need to point out for you, as far as 'anti-heroes' go... Samson's name means 'man of the sun'... In contradistinction, perhaps, to the 'son of man'... Well... Just sayin'...

Well it very much seems to be ... you just plunked the story of Korah right there in the mix ... like *cough* clockwerk. Kraftwerk. LOL I think the zodiac 'form' or outline is what connects all the different religions mythos. There are just waay too many similarities between all the ancient mythologies. I think it makes for a great teaching tool ... you can fit navigation with music with geometry with astronomy with anatomy with medicine ... and from there you can get into physics ... celestial and quantum mechanics ... yadda yadda .... Actually the whole story shows a 'plagued' Samson. Plagued with the spirit of Yahweh which is the dark half of that Blackjack post you made. Actually reading that post was what brought me back to this little ditty I had somewhat worked up already. My brain went DING! DING! DING! (and then I took my head out of the bell) (that bell snicker is probably some clue I should look into *more snickers* stuff a bag of mini snickers under GF's mail slot) And no don't go there either!!! LOLOL *kisses* But... if you don't want me to go there... Don't lure me in with snickers... Oh, lead us not into temptation...But, if I'm not mistaken... peanut butter cups have proven to be irresistible... as bait... And speaking of 'baiting,' this would be a great tune... ...with more cowbell. Lololol...

I think the story is more the nature of Yahweh than it is of Samson. with trippple buttter It's well worth the extra butter, it really is... And do you want to know what I think it's really all about? I believe that it's the story of what has already happened (told in a way that would pass the scrutiny of the 'editors'), and the story of what could happen... and shouldn't... and also that which should... and Will. Jack 'Black' or Jack 'White?' 'Man of the Sun' or 'Son of Man?' Yes, there are two roads you can go by, But in the long run, There's still time to change the road you're on...I don't know about you, but I 'bought' it... About seventeen silver shekels... cheap at the price...

For Whom The Cowbell Tolls ... what a great name for an song/album. LOLOL Ima thunking that the story of Samson is a tacit admission of whom this Yahweh really is. Like what you said about the mention of being ripped apart like a goat ... The spirit of the adversary. Yeppers. We need a spinning doom guy emoticon. :doom: We could use a few things around here, most likely, but hay... it's a free forum... and I can't really complain, I guess. Can I interest you in a 'hot potato' badge? I do have those, evidently... lol... Hot potatoes... Oh, brother. Anyway, speaking of 'hot potatoes,' that subject has got to be one of the biggest; and I can't help feeling that unless, and until, we can get past that... we won't be out of the 'labyrinth'... and as you so aptly pointed out, the labyrinth is a True palindrome, since the way out is the exact opposite of the way in... and it's the only way, by the way... Back to the future, for realz...
