Well, I promised to bring you some 'great moments in religious history,' didn't I? So... I think I'll start this one off with a real bang, so to speak... First, I'll ask you (dear reader, whoever you may be), what comes to your mind when I bring up 'great moments in religious history?' The birth of Jesus? His resurrection? The creation? The giving of 'the law' to Moses? Those are probably some of the most common answers, surely... depending upon one's religious affiliation, I'm sure. However, I have something else in mind... something that you've probably all given at least some thought to (even the 'atheists,' since they will have sought to eliminate it, altogether, if not 'rationalize' it)... but none of you have really been able to quite 'put your finger on,' I daresay. I will speak now of the 'creation' of 'Hell;' there is a responsible party, so to speak, and a reason for its existence, and further, a reason that you all fear it... almost instinctively, although 'hell,' per se, never existed prior to this incident, and 'hell,' as you will see, was never 'created' by 'God' as a punishment for evil men... it would be more to the point to say that 'hell' was 'created' by a Man, for his 'brothers,' in order to 'glorify' his idea of 'God,' and that practically every Word of poetry and prophecy since that event seems to tell of their eventual restoration to 'life,' and their exoneration as 'rebels' and 'sinners.' Fortunately, I don't have to look very far for this history, and quite frankly... lol... I am only truly surprised (and saddened) that more of you haven't taken these words to heart, so to speak; the Truth can never really be done away with, you know... only buried, and only for a time. It is time, I think, for that which has been 'hidden' (in plain sight, really) to be revealed... which is the true nature of an 'apocalypse,' after all. We shall 'raise the dead,' in Spirit, and in Truth. The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”The Book of Ezekiel, Chapter 37 Well, that's projecting a bit... before that happens, we should probably find out who the prophecy is for... specifically. We'll have to look back a little bit further... Ready to fall down the 'rabbit hole'...?

Now, the Truth is that I've told you this story before... I just don't think that many (if any) of you fully realize just what happened, and what the long-term implications of this incident have been; and the truth is that I believe that if, and when, you do, it will change the way that you see almost everything else. It is kind of a special 'looking-glass' that I am going to offer you... a different perspective on a certain historical event, that I believe was the turning-point in our subsequent worship, and understanding, of 'God' that has turned everything upside-down, and doomed you all to a disappointing (to say the least, at least for most of you) and completely unnatural relationship with the World, the Universe, and that which gives them 'life' and 'order,' which order can be considered as the 'natural laws' that are in place, from the microcosmic to the macrocosmic, and the spiritual as well as the physical. These are the same laws that regulate the 'science' of Alchemy... both the physical as well as the spiritual. There has been a definite breakdown in communication, so to speak... it's probably time for that 'Proverbial' Word in season... lol... And so, in the 'language of the Byrds'...

Let's take a 'page' from another book for just a minute, shall we...? I've got a storybook of my own... Look... and look again... Let's start here; after all, it's all been turned somewhat upside-down... which is why Odin hung himself upside-down on the 'World Tree,'- in order to see things correctly; I'm afraid that we'll have to do the same. Don't worry; he seems content, if not somewhat satisfied. Since we're turning things upside-down, you'll notice that the legs make a number 4; imagine that. We've covered the 'four' in parts already, throughout the forum, as with other of the symbols that we will be looking at; or, if you can't take my 'Word' for it, you can always look these things up for yourself... I told you, the greatest part of this little 'story' is that there is plenty of historical and empirical evidence for every bit of it. I think you'll see what I mean... See the T? 'T' for Tau/Tav, maybe? Which is the 22nd letter... our number 22, and I have that coming up.... Turn him upside down... see the 4? This book should be more familiar... but it isn't... And this is Crowley's Golden Dawn version, which employs slightly different symbolism and the colors are meaningful, as well... to their interpretation... I like pictures... they've even bothered to draw us a few. I have more...

So... about that 'day'... I know I've pointed this out before, but I'm going to run it by you one more time; you really need to 'dust off the cobwebs' on this one, and turn everything that you thought that you knew 'upside-down,' so to speak... just like our 'hanged man.' I'll add the usual highlights for you, and leave you to think about what I've just told you. I have to work again tonight, graveyard shift, so time is short, for now.
We will go on to discuss this passage, and its implications, at greater length in the morning... believe me, there are many... and not a day has passed since that day that hasn't been 'colored' by its memory. I intend to show you exactly what happened, and why it is still happening, and then, it may be that we can stop it. After all...
Knowledge is power... and then, of course, there is this:
My people perish for a lack of knowledge...
We should probably 'remedy' that... lolol...
Now, imagine that day, if you Will...
16 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the Lord?
4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the Lord will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the Lord to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the Lord doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the Lord, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
10 And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the Lord: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the Lord, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the Lord, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the Lord every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation.
20 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.
30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
35 And there came out a fire from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
36 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the Lord, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the Lord; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the Lord said to him by the hand of Moses.
41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the Lord.
42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the Lord appeared.
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the Lord; the plague is begun.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

*in a Fat Albert voice* Hey! Hey! Heeeeeyyy! Wazz swhappen sweetycakes? *smooches* I came across this in the book Keys of the Kabbalah and very much thought you would be interested in this little bit as well with the whole book. It is a very fine read through and through. -------------------------------------------------------------- To reiterate what has been said elsewhere, the four worlds have a direct correspondence in the Christian tradition, which may be expressed thus: Heaven(Atziluth); Paradise (Briah); Purgatory (Yetzirah); and Hades (Assiah). If we choose to equate Hades with Hell, as is sometimes done, then is this not anaccurate description of the world in which we find ourselves? The classic descriptions of “Hell” leap out at us every day from our newspapers and television screens. We call it “The News.” Who is to blame for the evil conditions and events which continually take place? The atrocities and horrors of this or that war in this or that part of the world? The rape and torture of women and children? The ever-increasing ability of human beings to devise “better” ways and means of inflicting the greatest possible agony upon each other? What kind of God, many people ask, created such a world for us to inhabit? The answer is, or course, that no kind of God did any such thing. We have created these conditions ourselves, and it is our responsibility to change them. For each one of us, the only change we can make practically is a change within ourselves. It is easy to see that this or that world leader, dictator, politician, political movement, etc., is to blame for this or that condition or sequence of events. It may be that the blame we so readily apportion truly belongs where we allocate it, but allocating blame does not change things. As long as there are human beings ready to perpetuate such evil, and other human beings who are willing to allow it to take place then it will continue as it has done for centuries. If we are honest with ourselves as individuals, we will acknowledge and recognise that we all, each one of us - and especially ME - has the capacity for evil, possibly as great as the most evil person in history. If we have any hope at all of changing the world order, then the first and most practical place to begin is on our own doorstep, that is with ourselves. www.scribd.com/doc/231513945/Keys-to-KabbalahHay...!!! Once again, I was hoping to find you around somewhere, and it looks like I really am 'Lucky,' after all... As to your post... that is absolutely True, as you say. There is a quote that I've been hoping to turn up again (it's in one of those 'open books' over there), that tells us exactly why our 'version' of 'God' is important to every social and personal institution and relation that we form here; in other words, our 'God' (and the way that we related to 'Him/It'), is responsible for our 'good' and our 'evil.' This is why it has become of critical importance (to me) to 're-forge' my own relationship with 'God'... and maybe, as a consequence, I can show you something better... something bigger... something that's Truly 'Universal'... Chooe ye this day whom ye will 'serve'... Maybe we can still find our Paradise... after we dig our way out of the Pit... And on that note... I mean to get in a couple more 'licks' before I have to ... time is always too short... And, O... *smooches*... lots...

*smooches* I been reading away. That book there. Nice stuff. Really a good find. It's for another thread but the 21 steps of Jacob's Ladder ... step 22 being the top step which would need no explanation I suspect. Yeah I been ding a linging to no avail. But is ok. *smooches* :hugs: It's not so okay... I kind of miss the ringtone... But the 'good news' is that they've been playing that song for me, too... I can't help smiling. Needless to say, I can't pick up on that one, but... there's still a message... lolol... But, on another note... there is another way to pass 'messages,' you know... having to do with the 'Word,' and 'Light.' Did you know that there is 'information' in light? There is... the trick is reading it, I suppose. Light passes rather quickly, you know... at the speed of light, I suppose... But speaking of 'hot links,' here is a link to something rather provocative... It's called 'The Keys of Enoch,' and tells of this 'language of light;' I think it may give a whole new meaning/dimension to 'reading the stars,' don't you? www.mcs.ca/vitalspark/2020_schools/309enoc00.html The question is not that knowledge is 'locked in,' but that the human mind is out of balance with the frameworks of neuro-psychological governance and biological providence in nature and must be unlocked to receive a greater understanding of Life. The larger realm of the super-nature surrounding us requires keys (patterns of thought) to re-balance or 'unlock' the perceptual apparatus so that the creative consciousness within the material-physical body can perform its functions when it blends with the discreet spiritual forces behind the physical universe. The importance of the Keys is the way they reveal the elegance of interlocking and interweaving universes supporting many complex and profound experiments. The Enochian keys are kabbalistic modes of thought so unusual that anyone truly comprehending them begins to employ new reality structures that open sleeping parts of the unconscious reality. -Dr. J.J. Hurtak, author Doctor my eyes... And, let there be Light... As to Jacob's Ladder, now... I imagine that there are, say, 11 steps going up, and 11 steps going down. Up, and down... after all, they were ascending and descending, isn't that right? So, where do you suppose that they were descending to...? After all, having seen the 'vision,' Jacob replied that, 'This place is terrible...' Genesis 28, verse 17: ... IN THEE and thy seed all the tribes of the earth SHALL BE BLESSED. 15And I will be thy keeper whithersoever thou goest, and will bring thee back into this land: neither will I leave thee, till I shall have accomplished all that I have said. 16And when Jacob awaked out of sleep, he said: Indeed the Lord is in this place, and I knew it not. 17And trembling he said: How terrible is this place! this is no other but the house of God, and the gate of heaven.
Beth-el... The House of 'God'... a real brick house.

Now... what does all of what I'm saying here in regard to Korah, specifically, and the World, generally, have to do with alchemy? After all, this is (purportedly, at least) an 'alchemical notebook;' and so it is. You see, it is my contention that Korah was an alchemist... and the holder of that knowledge, as part of his 'birthright,' let's say. He was, after all, a very wealthy man, and this is at the root of much of the 'rebellion' so-called, and all of its consequences, which we suffer to this day, reflected in every aspect of your life here. Beyond that basic fact, we have Moses... a great Magician, and trained in the great schools of Egypt as Pharoe's heir and replacement; now, think about that for a minute. His magic was greater than the Egyptian 'magicians,' because his knowledge was greater... he was privy to the secrets reserved for the 'Phe-roe.' And... he used that knowledge against his own people, when they balked at his plans to 'replace' 'God,' and alter their 'relationship' with Him, and their worship of Him. I suppose that they were 'rebels,' after all... and they met the fate of those who resist the 'law'... times 1000. Sadly, when Korah was lost, and his family/familial knowledge with him, Moses did in all Truth re-veil the mysteries, as you have heard it said. Alchemy was lost to the people... and in its place was given the Law, which turns out to be a poor substitute. Instead of regarding the 'natural laws' that were instituted by 'God' for the regulation of the Universe, a new 'law' was raised... by blood and plague, in fear... and the gates of Hell were closed on all of those that kept the old laws. We will go on to prove these points, and on from there, to prove the rest... 'God' Willing... and 'He' is. From the album, "Going to Hell"... Lololol....

You see, the problem with laws, governments, and religions, as well, that are instituted by violence (or, born in 'blood,' so to speak) is that they are almost always perpetuated and supported by violence... I could give you example after example of such, throughout history, but I'm sure that given a few moments of contemplation, you will be able to think of your own. And, the end of a life of violence is almost always a violent death... this, too, can be borne out by history, if not contemporary life as we know it. And... as almost all of you have come to suspect, if not realize, none of those historical nor contemporaneous examples reflects a 'God' of 'Love,' or even a 'God' that you can respect (much less worship in Truth), to your mind, and heart. As a consequence, most of you have no relationship at all with 'God,' much less something personal, awe-inspiring, and empowering... which it should be, if a 'God' is to be your 'God' at all. Anything that provides you with less than those conditions given above can only be 'dogma,' or 'God-like,' let's say, but never 'God.' The 'nature' of 'God' is Power... all power... over all things... creative power, as well as destructive power, that has no need to claim to BE Powerful, as He/It IS Powerful. In the face of that one fact, He does not need our acknowledgment, nor agreement; neither does he need our 'worship.' We worship Him, because His Power is awe-inspiring, and continued personal contact with this Great 'power-source' IS actually empowering for Man. Let that sink in... because that is precisely the reason why you have been, and continue to be, prevented from an honest and effective (True) knowledge of, and/or relationship with, this Power-source known as 'God,' for better or worse. You see, if you are powerful... how in the World will they maintain their own 'power,' especially their power over you? And I guess you know the answer to that, don't you? I know that you do. So, what is the answer to all of that...? There is only one, I think... we're going to have meet 'God.'

Well, not exactly 'dirt cheap'... There Will be 'Hell' to pay... Lolol... As a good banker, I have to wonder what the interest is going to be... Now, who's slapping their knees? Now, on that 'score,' I told you the Truth... absolutely. As corroborating testimony, I call to mind these words from the 'Similitudes (Parables) of Enoch;' and while this passage is entirely 'provocative' on its own (I wonder if it's still all right to be 'thought-provoking?' I guess it has to Be...), the book, and the character of Enoch are worth further exploration, I think... That calls for another thread, but, for now... CHAPTER LI.
1. And in those days shall the earth also give back that which has been entrusted to it (treasured up within it), And Sheol also shall give back that which it has received, And hell shall give back (repay) that which it owes.
5a. For in those days the Elect One shall arise, 2. And he shall choose the righteous and holy from among them: For the day has drawn nigh that they should be saved.
3. And the Elect One shall in those days sit on My throne, And his mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel: For the Lord of Spirits hath given (them) to him and hath glorified him.
4. And in those days shall the mountains leap like rams, And the hills also shall skip like lambs satisfied with milk, And the faces of ⌈all⌉ the angels in heaven shall be lighted up with joy.
5b. And the earth shall rejoice, c. And the righteous shall dwell upon it, d. And the elect shall walk thereon.www.sacred-texts.com/bib/boe/boe054.htmBeautiful...
