So... 'Good Morning'... it's good to be 'Up'... ...and running... I thought that I'd like to begin my notes this morning, by 'responding' to a program that I heard this morning on my local station, regarding 'cults', and specifically the cult that appeared, and took hold, here in eastern Oregon in the early-ish to mid-1980's, in a town called Antelope. I wasn't here at that time, myself,- I was living then in Phoenix... and I only know of it by way of 'history', and the men that were there to relate it, such as your guest. Those must have been, interesting, if not disturbing, times here; among others, including our having been the target of some sort of 'signal' sent from... another place... known to 'history' as the 'Woodpecker signal'. To be so 'pastoral', we seem to be at the 'fringes' at least, of many controversial events... It is a small source of amusement to me, because we always tend to believe that 'nothing ever happens here'... Lololol... But, now, regarding 'cults' and 'communes' of whatever variety... I would personally oppose such a thing, were it to make a 'current bid'. And this, in spite of my recent spate of 'Cult' music... there was a point to that, but not at all the formation of a group for any quasi-religious/social purposes. Every attempt at such a thing, so far, has only further 'poisoned' the concept of any such effort in the minds of the public, generally, and that may even have been done 'with intent', as they say, in order that no such thing might succeed in the future, due to the already prevailing public 'conception' of 'cult' with a 'bad word'... and bad people. It doesn't particularly matter to me, since isolated groups of any variety will not be the way in which any 'ultimate' Truth will be demonstrated,- and you can know this with a certainty, because... Truth is true, 'across the board'... It will be True for all people, at the same time, in the same way... otherwise, it would only be a half-truth, wouldn't it? True for only 'half' the people... and that doesn't make a 'full circle'... I think that it's time to explain something else, that belongs to this 'revelation' of mine... Your 'insurance policy'... And the real magic here...? You won't need an 'app' for this... Lolololol... The thing about the 'cult' is that it's kind of a personal 'joke', that came when I was 'personally messaged' by another poster on another forum, a long time ago now it seems, who said that they had joined the forum in order to join my 'cult'... which was curious, because... as far as I know, this is the only one I've got... But I think I probably got the best end of the deal, after all... I believe that we are coming to the 'clincher', very soon... and that, in proportion to the nearness of the 'time', there will be an increase in those proposing to 'save' us... who have not, an answer, but the 'answer'... and many of them will be rather convincing, I suppose. Otherwise, they couldn't hope to succeed with their own plans, and they do... hope to succeed, that is... So... how will you know who to trust? Where can you safely place your faith, in these most confusing of times...? I further believe that provision has been made for this,- an 'insurance policy', so to speak, which prevents 'by default', if you will, the 'pretenders' to the 'throne'... and I will be happy to explain that for you now, in order that you be prepared, when the 'time' comes. A long time ago, and very far away... lived a man named Rabbi Simeon bar Yohai... who had retired to a cave for a year of further contemplation, upon his own horror at the lack of 'spirituality' among the Jews. And then, something happened in the cave, as it so often does... ...At the end of that period a voice resounded through the cave, urging him to leave ordinary men to their own devices and to teach only those who were ready to hear him. The discourses given by Rabbi Simeon at the urging of that divine order - recorded by the loyal group of 'companions' who gathered round him on his second re-emergence into the world - comprise the 'Zohar'.
Rabbi Simeon bar Yohai apparently belonged to that small group of gifted teachers whose mere presence could transform spiritually any man, woman, child, or animal. He taught that all observable things here were reflected in a higher world and that no thing or person survived independently on any plane of existence, no matter how high. Anyone determined to elevate his own soul was therefore automatically committing himself to elevate every sentient, and even insentient, entity in God's creation. "All souls form but one unity with the Divine Soul," was the basis for all his teachings. The entire aim of a man's stay on this earth, said Rabbi Simeon, is to realize this in the experience of union:
"All things of which this world is composed, as the soul and the body, will return to the principle and the root from which they sprang. For God is the beginning and He is the end of all degrees of creation. And all the degrees are bound with his seal. He is the unique Being, in spite of the innumerable forms in which He is clothed."Well... that seems simple enough. If it works for you... it's going to work for me, and them, and them... and even them. If it really works, that is... And that makes our 'fail-safe', you see...? Whoever will 'elevate' himself, will 'raise the Adam'... They have to take everybody with them. Every body. So... who still wants to be the Messiah...? Lololol...

Now, let's take a closer look at that 'elephant in the room'... as it happens, the 'elephant' has been satisfactorily explained by a... blind man... in truth... Which ought to surprise nobody, at this point... Ben Zion Wacholder is a partially blind Professor of the Hebrew University in Cincinnati, but he has the ability to see through the tangled undergrowth of intertwined scrolls and is a king and much respected father figure in the land of his peers. In the celebratory 50th anniversary conference of the finding of the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls, held in Jerusalem, he created a major sensation by going against his colleagues in claiming Ezekiel as the first Essene.
He perceives many of the sectarian Dead Sea Scrolls of the Qumran Essenes, such as the Temple Scroll, New Jerusalem Scroll, the Aramaic Testament of Levi, Qahat, and Amran, Jubilees, and the Cairo-Damascus documents, as derivative of Ezekiel’s thinking in refusing to recognise the legitimacy of the Second Temple and standing outside normative Judaistic authority. In a sense he recognises two quite separate sets of biblical texts – Ezekielian and non-Ezekielian.
One of the most interesting aspects of this theory relates to Ezekiel descriptions of a Temple, which is generally taken to be a visionary Temple that would one day be built in Jerusalem. However, when you compare the descriptions Ezekiel gives in the Old Testament to those of the archaeological reconstructions of the Great Temple that stood in Akhenaten’s Holy City, it is quite clear he was talking about that actual Temple and not one which would one day stand in Jerusalem.
Other Dead Sea Scrolls confirm this finding in incontrovertible detail. The New Jerusalem Scroll, for example, which by the way never mentions Jerusalem, ties its descriptions to Akhenaten’s Holy Temple. Recently Michael Chyutin, and Shlomo Margalit, Israeli architects, have conducted independent studies on the Scroll and come to the conclusion it is almost certainly describing Akhenaten’s city at modern day Amarna. Without the explanation I have put forward, for a link from Amarna down to the possessors and authors of the New Jerusalem Scroll, conventional history has no answer to the problem.
Incidentally these studies show that two other Egyptian cities also exhibited similar characteristics to those described in the New Jerusalem Scroll – namely Sesebi, a city located between the second and third cataract of the Nile, and the Hebrew settlement on the Island of Elephantine, near Aswan in southern Egypt. A connection to Sesebi is not so surprising as it was, like Akhetaten, built by Akhenaten. Why the strange pseudo-Hebrew settlement on Elephantine Island, which is dated to at least the 7th century BCE, should show similarities is more intriguing. The people there worshipped Yahwe, the Israelite name for God, and built a temple as a place of worship. The explanation of how this isolated community came into existence has never been satisfactorily resolved.www.newdawnmagazine.com/articles/Unfolding%20the%20Secrets%20of%20the%20Copper%20Scroll%20at%20Qumran.htmlI'm still leaning towards a 'black velvet' painting, myself... The colors really come to life... Viva...!

And, speaking of the 'right thing at the right time'... would you just look at that? That's not only one of my favorite 'Who' tunes, but... did you ever notice how that concrete structure resembles our 'monolith'? Except that... they're doing something to the 'monolith' that doesn't seem quite right... Perhaps they're making a 'statement' of some kind... Men are so funny. Mostly...

I just thought I should note that this is almost the first day of June... You know, I got ahead of myself just a little bit... thank you, 'Andy', for the 'check'. I think it's close enough, though, for the rest to apply... today as well as tomorrow... The year is half gone already,- and I suppose that I could imagine that the glass is half 'full' at this point... I prefer that thought to the 'half-empty' that it was yesterday... Well, (G)ee... it's that time already... I hope it's the right time... Oh, no, you don't... That's better...

Well, it's times like these, right...? Good luck, my 'friend'... ...knock yourself out. Now, on a 'lighter' note, I'd like to make a different kind of entry here; I was standing outside last night, looking up at the sky (again), and in order to see most of the sky, I have to lean backwards considerably... you know... almost like... hanging upside-down, I thought. And then I thought... that's it... That's the reason that Odin is said to have hung upside-down for nine days,- in order to best see the stars... all of the stars... and the stars 'communicated' with him,- they 'talked to him',- by means of the transmission of data by light, as I said, and at the end of the nine days, they gave him 'language'... in the form of the 'runes', or symbols, that he received in this way. And, having given that some further thought, I believe that this was the 'single language' of Man, prior to the disruption of such at the 'fall of the Tower of Babel', where Man had determined to communicate with these 'stars'... directly... to 'talk to 'God',' so to speak... At that time, it seems that the 'understanding' of this 'language of light' was 'wiped' from men's minds, and they were no longer able to 'communicate' effectively, as a 'unit' by this means, but... there were 72 languages generated, as a consequence, and much knowledge was "captured and transmitted". The following illustration and quote are from another site, but rather informative, I think... Now, does that not resemble my 'Universal mycelium'...? And I didn't make this up, it was just there... Through this ordeal he acquires the runes, a secret alphabet composed of divinatory symbols. The runes represent the generative formulas of all possible languages, the bases of all verbal and written expressions in which human knowledge can be captured and transmitted. By his ordeal the "tree-hung" shaman acquires the magical power of language, but still needs access to the transcendent wisdom that will use language for its instrument.www.esotericonline.net/profiles/blogs/the-odin-mysteryAlong these 'lines', it is of further interest to note that the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are said to have been "written with black fire, on white fire... engraved in Voice, and carved in Fire..." In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with 'God', and the Word was 'God', and without it was nothing made, that was made...It was truly a 'ray of light'... that dispelled the 'darkness'... ...by 'expressing itself'. I think there's a moral there, somewhere... Oh, darn that Ellen... And, no, those 'Taylor/Swift' trucks were no coincidence... Where do you think they got "dumps like a truck" from, anyway...? Scandalous... Lololol... Are you sure that wasn't a 'Saturn'? I could have sworn that it was... Well, blind in one eye, and the reflections of some bright lights in the other, eh...? And, hay... did I hear 'Bob' say earlier that he didn't want to be a 'tosspot'? I can't hear as well as used to... and I'd like to blame the cell phones... I know it wasn't the music. Oh... I understand that it's National 'Say Something Nice Today' Day. That's nice... Let's see,- where should I begin? Let me begin by saying that you all do a really good job... and you all play really great music... and that makes it hard to decide on a 'format'. I like it all... mostly. And the truth is that I enjoy listening to all of you... in whatever 'format' you choose to present yourselves. I enjoy the 'requests', and yes... even the commercials... mostly. So... thank you. You're all pretty great... To be 'imaginary friends'... and all... Now, how about that 'Billy Shears'...? With a special thanks to the Youtube poster known as AndyBoy63... Coincidence... or not...? Lolololol... Oh... and one more special 'thanks' for this request tune the other night... Hay, sailor... And that was a nice thing to say, too... Hay ya, Springfield... it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... Now, as far as 'programming' goes... I have definite preferences... If you see what I mean... Now, let's see... if I'm not greatly mistaken (again), this day is nearly over, and we can leave off being nice... no... I mean, we can get back to business... well... I can explain... How about a cartoon? Coffee...? That would be nice... In other words, I suppose that we all have our jobs to do... which doesn't mean that we can't have coffee sometime... And I think it would be nice to thank the Youtube poster known as PastorMac7... the 'happy face' that I like to use is borrowed from one of my oldest, bestest 'imaginary friends', you know... 'Happy Macintosh'. I smile back... Lololol... and that's the truth... It would probably be nice if I got back to work on something more interesting... but I haven't had a good cartoon in a while, either. I feel better now. Siriusly.

And so... we begin another day, and another note in my journal... As I said, today we are 'unbound' by the 'necessity' of nice-ness, so I think it would be even more appropriate on a day such as this, to say the nice things that I would like to say, because... I really mean it. For instance... good morning to you, 'imaginary friend McKenzie'... there is an 'avatar' character on the Xbox named 'Mackenzie', and it dresses (rather curiously) in the style that I prefer,- I just thought it was funny. I was enjoying your show this morning (mostly), and I'd just like to say that you have a really nice voice, for a girl, and all... Which is to say that I can stand to listen to you for more than a few minutes at a time... and you say some really interesting things, sometimes. For instance, the use of the 'word' "y'all" this morning,- that remark actually inspired me to point out that the contracted term "y'all", of course, indicates "you all",- everybody. 'Everybody' is included in their 'consciousness', you see...? Not just one or two... or you... but 'you all'... And if more people included that notion in their 'social consciousness', we might find that more people really were included... Kind of simple, I know... like southern hospitality... Coffee...? I make pretty good pie... And about the other story... I thought about that, too. It was a great song, but totally 'undesigned'... it was there, in concept, and in 'potential', obviously, but... unrecognized as 'potential', even by the writer. His wife heard the tune... the notes... and it 'spoke' to her,- there was no way to have known it in advance, but she 'knew it when she heard it', if you see what I mean. And because she bothered to point out that she 'heard something' in it... something that he evidently wasn't hearing... he 'expanded' on the tune, and it became... something really unexpected. Now, that's a great story, and I can't tell you how many 'morals' I can find in that little hill of magic beans... Well, before we go on with something 'more interesting'... or, at least, more to the point... I'd like to say one more nice thing, for no apparent reason... My very favorite person in the morning... is on right now... and I always feel 'lighter' somehow, when I tune in Andy's show... which is to say, I suppose, that I like the 'programming'... and as far as the 'memories' are concerned, I'm at the place where an elbow in my side every once in a while can't 'hurt'... too much. Lolol... It's almost like being on the dance floor. He's pretty Kool... Hay, Andy... thanks for reminding me... That's what I'd do with a fiddle...

Well, I say... 'speak of the Devil'... and what do you know? I think I just remembered something 'more interesting' that I was going to bring up earlier... and coincidentally... it has to do with a 'Saturn'. I knew there was going to be a 'point' to all of that... lolol... Now, this 'story' has to do with another 'story', which some of you may already be familiar with, but may not have made any 'connection' to this story, which... resonates, let's say... with some of the other 'notes' in my Journal, and I'd like to make some of those connections while we're still contemplating the Moon,- the time just seems right... Now, this story is told during the discussion that Plutarch had with several other 'scholars' in regard to the 'apparent face on the orb of the moon', which is also, coincidentally, the title of the resulting essay... This part of the 'forum' was given over to a certain "Sylla", who had rather a unique perspective on the moon,- part of which I've already covered here, but let's add this to the 'mix', shall we...? For 'interest'... Almost whilst I was still speaking, Sylla took up the discourse with “Stop, Lamprias, and shut to the wicket of your speech lest you unwittingly run the fable aground, and throw this play of mine into confusion, for it has a different scene and plot. Now, I am the player, but first I will tell you the author of the piece, if there is no objection, who begins after Homer’s fashion with,
“‘An isle Ogygian lies far out at sea,’
distant five days’ sail from Britain, going westwards, and three others equally distant from it, and from each other, are more opposite to the summer visits of the sun; in one of which the barbarians fable that Saturn is imprisoned by Jupiter, whilst his son lies by his side, as though keeping guard over those islands and the sea, which they call ‘the Sea of Saturn.’ The great continent by which the great sea is surrounded on all sides, they say, lies less distant from the others, but about five thousand stadia from Ogygia, for one sailing in a rowing-galley; for the sea is difficult of passage and muddy through the great number of currents, and these currents issue out of the great land, and shoals are formed by them, and the sea becomes clogged and full of earth, by which it has the appearance of being solid. That sea-coast of the mainland Greeks are settled on, around a bay not smaller than the Maeotis, the entrance of which lies almost in a straight line opposite the entrance to the Caspian Sea.’ Those Greeks call and consider themselves continental people, but islanders all such as inhabit this land of ours, inasmuch as it is surrounded on all sides by the sea; and they believe that with the peoples of Saturn were united, later, those who wandered about with Hercules, and being left behind there, they rekindled into strength and numbers the Greek element, then on the point of extinction, and sinking into the barbarian language, manners, and laws; whence Hercules has the first honors there, and Saturn the second. But when the star of Saturn, which we call the ‘Informer,’ but they ‘Nocturnal,’ comes into the sign of the Bull every thirty years, they having got ready a long while beforehand all things required for the sacrifice and the games . . . . they send out people appointed by lot in the same number of ships, furnished with provisions and stores necessary for persons intending to cross so vast a sea by dint of rowing, as well as to live a long time in a foreign land.
"When they have put to sea, they meet, naturally, with different fates, but those who escape from the sea, first of all, touch at the foremost isles, which are inhabited by Greeks also, and see the sun setting for less than one hour for thirty days in succession; and this interval is night, attended with slight darkness, and a twilight glimmering out of the west. Having spent ninety days there, treated with honor and hospitality, being both considered and entitled ‘holy,’ thenceforward they voyage with the help of the winds. No other people inhabit the islands save themselves and those that had been sent out before; it is, indeed, allowed to such as have served thirteen years in waiting upon the god, to return home, but the greatest part prefer to remain there, partly out of habit, partly because they have all things in abundance without toil and trouble, as they pass their time in sacrifices and hymn singing, or in studying legends and philosophy of some sort. For wonderful are both the island and the mildness of the climate; whilst the deity himself has been an obstacle to some when contemplating departure, by manifesting himself to them as to familiars and friends, not by way of dreams or by tokens, but conversing with them in a visible form with many apparitions and speeches of genii. For Saturn himself is imprisoned in a vast cavern, sleeping upon a rock overlaid with gold; for his sleep has been contrived by Jupiter for his chaining—whilst birds fly down from the rock, which are ordained to carry ambrosia to him, whilst the island is overspread with fragrance, diffused from the rock as from a fountain. Those genii wait upon and nurse Saturn, who had been his companions at the time when truly he used to reign over both gods and men; and they, being endowed with prophecy, foretell, on their own account, many things, but important matters, and such as concern the highest things, they go down into the cavern and report as the dreams of Saturn; for whatsoever things Jupiter is devising for the future, Saturn dreams what they are about, and that which is kingly and divine.
"The stranger having been carried there, as he told us, and waiting upon the god at his leisure, he gained acquaintance with astrology and geometry as far as it is possible to advance, whilst he took up ‘natural science’ for his department of philosophy. But, seized at last with a desire and longing to become acquainted with the ‘great island,’ for so, as was natural, they denominate the territories inhabited by ourselves; when the thirty years had expired, and the successors were come from home, he took leave of his friends and sailed away, having provided himself carefully with all other stores, and carrying his travelling expenses in [the shape of] cups of gold. All that he endured, and how many nations he passed through, consulting their sacred books, and receiving initiation into all their mysteries, would take a whole day to enumerate in the way that he related it to us, describing the circumstances very well and particularly; but as much of them as is connected with the present inquiry you must now hear, for he spent a very long time at Carthage, inasmuch as he received great honors amongst us for having discovered, deposited in the earth, some sacred parchments, which had been secretly carried off at the time when the former city was destroyed, and which had been concealed a very long time. Of the visible powers, he said we ought (and exhorted me also) especially to worship the moon, as being in reality, and also reputed, the sovereign of life.”thriceholy.net/Texts/Moon.htmlWell, how do you like that...? Golden cups, you say...? Now, that just is very interesting... and so familiar... Well, here is the 'bull' referred to, but I'll tell you guys a little secret... Your 'magick' is where you make it... and the word you're looking for here is 'obverse'... not 'observe'. Now, 'observe' closely... there's not much up your sleeve... Lololol... It's the 'little things'... Now, I'd like to take a couple of notes from that quote, and see how we can 'expand' on that... to begin with, the portion above that I just 'bolded', which tells us that he learned 'natural science' as his department of 'philosophy',- and the most 'natural science' that I know is that of 'alchemy'. So... I can assume, then, that this man took away (at least some) knowledge of the alchemical arts from this place. And that seems like a 'natural connection' to this next piece that I would like to quote... from the mysterious alchemical treatise known as "The Book of Lambspring",- this 'book' is said to contain the 'simplest' instructions for the completion of the "Philosopher's Stone"... and it would hardly seem to be a coincidence that this connection with 'philosophy' and 'science' should be made here. Now, this portion of the 'Lambspring' text has to do with a King... and his son... just as was mentioned in regard to the King, known as 'Saturn', that lie 'sleeping' in the story above. Here, he is said to be 'imprisoned' by Jupiter, with his son, who (currently) lies by his side... in this story, we are given some 'fuller particulars' of the situation, I believe, if we can only apply them rightly. Have patience, and try to find the 'pearls' in this 'wall of text', if you will... Here is an old father of Israel, Who has an only Son, A Son whom he loves with all his heart. With sorrow he prescribes sorrow to him. He commits him to a guide, Who is to conduct him whithersoever he will. The Guide addresses the Son in these words: Come hither! I will conduct thee everywhere, To the summit of the loftiest mountain, That thou mayest understand all wisdom, That thou mayest behold the greatness of the earth, and of the sea, And then derive true pleasure. I will bear thee through the air To the gates of highest heaven. The Son hearkened to the words of the Guide, And ascended upward with him; There saw he the heavenly throne, That was beyond measure glorious. When he had beheld these things, He remembered his Father with sighing, Pitied the great sorrow of his Father, And said: I will return to his breast.
Says the Son to the Guide: I will go down to my Father, For he cannot live without me. He sighs and calls aloud for me. And the Guide makes answer to the Son: I will not let thee go alone; From thy Father's bosom I brought thee forth, I will also take thee back again, That he may rejoice again and live. This strength will we give unto him. So both arose without delay, And returned to the Father's house. When the Father saw his Son coming, He cried aloud, and said: -
My Son, I was dead without thee, And lived in great danger of my life. I revive at thy return, And it fills my breast with joy. But when the Son entered the Father's house, The Father took him to his heart, And swallowed him out of excessive joy, And that with his own mouth. The great exertion makes the Father sweat.
Here the Father sweats on account of the Son, And earnestly beseeches God, Who has created everything in His hands, Who creates, and has created all things, To bring forth his Son from his body, And to restore him to his former life. God hearkens to his prayers, And bids the Father lie down and sleep. Then God sends down rain from heaven To the earth from the shining stars. It was a fertilizing, silver rain, Which bedewed and softened the Father's Body. Succour us, Lord, at the end, That we may obtain Thy gracious Gift! www.levity.com/alchemy/lambtext.htmlIt is, of course, an allegory... a parable... ...but it really speaks to me... About this 'lambspring' and a 'bull'... Remember also that the 'knowledge' of the Egyptians passed first to... the Greeks... and that Hercules was 'revered' there for having 'revived' the people of the island... I wonder if the Wooly Bully has a 'golden fleece'...? It could happen...

Happy 'National "Bubba" Day'... I can celebrate this one, you know... Our 'house' pit bull's name is 'Bubba'... we kind of share him, since there's plenty of Bubba to go around. He's a nice dog... And, interestingly, my best friend's husband had a 'nickname' for me, a long time ago,- it was 'Bubba Sue'... I still don't know why. 'Bubba' kind of means something like 'little brother', as far as I know... Which is interesting... Those were actual, real friends, by the way... ...in case you were wondering... Lololol... I just wanted to say that I'm enjoying the actual, real music this morning... I always look forward to it, you know... I think that we should all take a minute (or more, if you need it) to 'jerk one' for poor, dear Taylor Swift this morning... sad news, indeed... Tissue...? How about somebody leaves her number on the bathroom wall? I understand Jenny got lucky that way...

Well, Glorioski... I didn't mean to go there... No, that's the truth... Pass on the 'haircut', Delilah... ...but I do like this one... I wasn't sure whether or not I should mention it, but... I suppose that it adds to the 'interest'... Do you know what the name of my 'actual, real friend' was...? It was... Wilson. Well, how do you like that...? I just thought about that, later... it seemed like rather strange 'cosmic serendipity'... but there you go. I like this one, too... I heard that the 'universe is expanding'. Of course it is... How else will it accommodate a 'raised Adam'...? I see it as a 'good sign'... ...and I would further say that under such a 'scenario', the stars would not be 'falling' so much, as we would be 'rushing up to meet them'... Oh, hay, Andy... good one... And so is this one,- this one is really 'danceable', but you don't hear it so much as the other one. It must be the 'attraction' of the 'chameleon'... Looks like this one is 'knee-deep' in the rainbow... No, wait... I 'see' something... It's playing 'naked Twister'... I can say that, as long as I don't comment on its 'karma'... that would be bad... But speaking of 'feathered crowns'... Here's another one that doesn't get nearly enough 'play'... Always on my mind... Here's another one that I always liked,- this one features Dusty Springfield... ...whom most of you have never heard of. She has nothing at all to do with this band, whom most of you might actually have heard of... For what it's worth... And speaking of Springfield, I thought the 'Summer in the City' event sounded like a lot of fun... I'd like to be there. I always did... I don't know about you, but I found a lot of 'magic' there... Believe it.

Well, speaking of 'strange magic' (we were, weren't we? Well, we will...),- my power just kicked off and on, only for a moment, but long enough to turn my radio off. Lolol... Face the Music... ...no kidding. Now that I've gotten all of that off my 'chest', so to speak, I think I'm ready to go 'questing'... it's a perfect day for it... Next stop... Manningville... I mean, Funkytown... Wait a minute... would you just look at the time...? It's 25 or 6 to 4... How kool is that...? I say 'questing', because the two bits of stories that I related in my Journal the other day have to do with yet another story, having to do with a 'King'... a 'Fisher King', more or less... And what was said to be, at times, a 'golden cup'... a 'chalice'... that would be variously known as the 'Grail', 'Holy Grail', and 'Grail Cup', all of which shared similar traits. Interestingly, this 'grail' was elsewhere said to be a 'stone'... Now, let me remind you here that in Sylla's recounting of this 'story', the place from which some 'similar' 'golden cups' were taken, reflects some of the 'traits' of the 'grail cup', itself... For wonderful are both the island and the mildness of the climate...thriceholy.net/Texts/Moon.htmlAnd, as a 'grail'-type object is concerned, its portrayal as a 'stone' may be entirely accurate, if we consider our completed "Philosopher's Stone", don't you think...? For this 'Stone' is also rumored to produce all things in abundance, by means of Science, and Wisdom... And Wisdom, according to the ancient Egyptians, is symbolized by the color Black... I'm tempted to say that those look very much like... feathered crowns... And the Templar Knights were said to possess the 'knowledge' of the Grail,- and its resting-place...

That this particular 'science', and the knowledge of such, is indeed the original 'ancient wisdom' that we seek, we have only to look at the symbolism... For instance, it is said that the 'earliest language' known to man was known to the Basques, as the 'language of the birds'... and that seems kind of funny... until you look at the symbolism of the alchemical process,- It seems that it was 'written' in the 'language of the birds'... Lolol... But it's true... I wish to consider a particularly tight knit group of these animal symbols, the birds of alchemy - the Black Crow, White Swan, Peacock, Pelican, and Phoenix - which are descriptive of certain stages of the alchemical process. Of course it would be wrong to suggest that there are fixed rigid meanings with regard to these symbols. The alchemists always integrated the symbols they used, so that one has to look at the total context, the background against which they stand, but when the birds appear in this sequence it is almost certain that the following interpretation can be applied. Firstly, let us look at the symbols in general. What did the alchemists wish to symbolise by birds? The essential thing about birds is that they, having as their domain the air element, mediate between the earthly realm and the heaven world. The alchemist in observing the flight of birds, recognised in them a picture of the human soul undergoing spiritual development. The soul, aspiring upwards, flying free of the restraints of the earth bound body seeking the heavenly light, only to have to return to the earthly consciousness again after the meditation, the alchemist symbolised by the bird. Thus the bird symbols, in alchemy, reflect the inner experiences of soul alchemy, the soaring of the soul free from the earth bound body and the physical senses. The soul, in the meditations of soul alchemy, touches upon the spiritual world, and brings something of this back into the outer life again. The birds as symbols mediate between the physical and spiritua1 worlds, they reflect certain archetypal experiences encountered by the soul in its development through the alchemical process.www.levity.com/alchemy/alcbirds.htmlNow, in relation to our 'Grail', we are looking for a 'fisher king'... and what is a 'fisher', but... a pelican? A special kind of pelican... This active working with the soul forces is perfectly pictured in the Pelican. The Pelican is shown stabbing its breast with its beak and nourishing its young with its own blood. The alchemist must enter into a kind of sacrificial relationship with his inner being. He must nourish with his own soul forces, the developing spiritual embryo within. Anyone who has made true spiritual development will know well this experience. One's image of one's self must be changed, transformed, sacrificed to the developing spiritual self. This is almost invariably a deeply painful experience, which tests one's inner resources. Out of this will eventually emerge the spiritual self, transformed through the Pelican experience. The Pelican was in this spiritual sense a valid image of the Christ experience and was used as such by the early alchemists. And this should explain fairly nicely 'why' there is every reason in the World that our 'black' Madonna, having 'delivered' this Christ-child should wear a 'feathered' crown... Champions... like our knights... So, once again, 'brothers'... "Whom does the Grail serve...?" The 'Grail' serves... 'God'... And that's the Truth. Drink me...Lololol... I'm pretty sure this one turns into a Black Swan... Like magic... Now, this is interesting... as far as 'black swans' go... I'm not really surprised... The black swan theory or theory of black swan events is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight. The term is based on an ancient saying which presumed black swans did not exist, but the saying was rewritten after black swans were discovered in the wild.
The theory was developed by Nassim Nicholas Taleb to explain:
The disproportionate role of high-profile, hard-to-predict, and rare events that are beyond the realm of normal expectations in history, science, finance, and technology. The non-computability of the probability of the consequential rare events using scientific methods (owing to the very nature of small probabilities). The psychological biases that blind people, both individually and collectively, to uncertainty and to a rare event's massive role in historical affairs.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_swan_theory"Rare"... as in, 'it doesn't happen every day'... ...which in no(w) way means that it can't happen some day... I was going to 'fix' that, but... it may be one of those 'happy coincidences', after all... Magic is where you make it... Like Guns 'n Roses getting back together... See what I mean...? I may need a tissue, myself... those are tears of joy... I imagine... I may take a break so that I can listen to the Mike Harvey 'request show'... I always look forward to that. Yep. Good times... It's True.

You know, I'm already well aware of the hairspray/pyrotechnics 'connection'... It doesn't require a haircut... this can be accomplished rather spectacularly using only the short-ish hairs of the forearm, say... Isn't that right? And as far as 'talking dirty' goes... within the parameters established by the accompanying video, one might just as easily have jerked either a tear or a beer... and you know what they say... "Holiness to the holy", and to the rest... we leave the sticky tissue. Lololol... Let's just chalk it off to a 'strange sense of humor', which is evidently allowable within certain other 'parameters', and, then, there is another saying that I like... it goes like this... According to Hoyle, the rules of the game (any game you like) are the same for both sides... In other words, if that's going to work for you, it surely must work for me... And this one works for me... So... let's 'shake it up like bad medicine', shall we...? I mean, it's probably no secret by now that I'm no 'angel'... ...but I am working on some wings. Pretty hairy... Before I continue with the subject matter, I did just want to say that I enjoy listening to your station,- I really do. I like the music... let's face it... I wasn't always at the disco... but more importantly, I like hearing the people there. I want to go crabbing with you, and I'd like to take in something at the Egyptian Theater, just 'because', and more than anything, I'd love to be able to see your most wonderful lady dentist... you are all very lucky to live in a place that like. I'm not so far away, but... it almost seems like another world, sometimes... I wish I were closer. I like to 'share' that with you, and imagine that someday, we can all be that kind of neighbors... and friends. As communities, I believe that you are all quite 'stellar'... Which is to say that you really do shine... There is much good... In our own yards... Oh, gosh(en)... well, I'd better get back to it; I was just 'reminded' that we shouldn't set the 'bird on fire' (so to speak), and then decide to take a 'power nap' (for real). The thing is, I've undertaken to babysit some of that 'good in my own yard' this evening, and I need it... for real. The 'bird' is going to 'pan' out... in spite of my frequent rest stops. I'm pretty sure. I know... maybe some 'tonic'... How about one more longhair...? For good luck... "Look, Dave... I'm flying...!" And, by the way, I had a great time at the 'House Party' last night... the parts that I can remember... have you seen my car keys...?

So... we only have a few cards left in our deck, before we find our way 'home' from this 'Journey', and that doesn't seem like much time, but there may be enough 'clues' in what we've uncovered so far that we can make good use of what's left to come, and still come out the better for it, towards our 'destination'. Since none of us can really be sure what that 'destination' really is, I like to call it 'home',- this is, after all, the 'goal' of any 'game' that we wish to undertake as a 'player', really... to make it 'home', or 'win', by having overcome various intervening strokes of 'bad fortune' and the 'progress' that we are able to make towards the 'goal', by whatever means are allowed by the 'rules'. According to the 'rules' of the science of alchemy, the 'goal' of all things that exist in this place (third-dimensional matter/Earth) is 'perfection'... which is to say, I suppose, that it would reflect the 'highest' or 'purest' form of the particular 'element(s)' of which it is composed... thereby, effectively 'transforming it', in reality... in truth. The same rules apply to the science, whether they are applied on a physical, or non-physical (spiritual) level, because the same 'truths' apply. Tis true without error, certain & most true. That which is below is like that which is above & that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing And as all things have been & arose from one by the mediation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation. The Sun is its father, the moon its mother, the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth is its nurse. The father of all perfection in the whole world is here. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth. Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry. It ascends from the earth to the heaven & again it descends to the earth & receives the force of things superior & inferior. By this means you shall have the glory of the whole world & thereby all obscurity shall fly from you. Its force is above all force. For it vanquishes every subtle thing & penetrates every solid thing. So was the world created. From this are & do come admirable adaptations whereof the means (or process) is here in this. Hence I am called Hermes Trismegist, having the three parts of the philosophy of the whole world That which I have said of the operation of the Sun is accomplished & ended.
Or, in other words... "It is finished." Feel free to read between the lines... It is generally agreed that this Hermes was a great 'teacher', and a very Great Scientist... The 'operation of the Sun'... Do you see the horse...? It's white, of course... and that's important, but there's something else about that horse... and two 'children'... Odin's horse 'Sleipnir' was said to have eight legs... and that's kind of funny... Unless it was four of his legs... and four of his riders' legs... And that's almost crazy enough to make sense... And, the real 'kicker'? Sleipnir was the only horse that was ever recorded to have been ridden to Hel(l)... and back. Do you know why horses are Lucifer's favorite animal...? Because they are... noble. And that should tell you something, I think... A fine, white charger... Don't forget to kiss your horse. And thank you for the 'emotional rescue'... I didn't forget...

One more 'haircut'... for the record,-
I don't think you 'covered' this one...
Every song is just a prayer, after all...
Spirit... with 'wings'...

Lost my post... let's send this one up again... Lololol... This is a 'good sign' for me, you know... evidently, you can fly in boots... And, hay, Dave... I need a pencil... I've got some numbers I'd like to leave on the bathroom wall, while I'm smoking up in there... I may need to hit that again... Lololol... Things really do go better with Rock... like 'bad medicine', say... Or, a 'universal medicine' might be better... How about one for the Lovin' Spoonful...? Well, I'll tell you something that you might not know... You can't go fiddlin'... without your bow... Master Albert Pike tells us this, in regard to the 'Great Work' that is spoken of by Hermes... Like all Mysteries of Magism, the Secrets of the "Great Work" have a threefold signification: they are religious, philosophical, and natural.
The philosophical gold, in religion, is the Absolute and Supreme Reason; in philosophy, it is the Truth; in visible nature, the Sun; in the subterranean and mineral world, the most perfect and pure gold. And so, the 'operation of the Sun' is reflected in 'visible nature', as well as the 'subterranean and mineral world',- and again, this transformation includes that level of Truth that is reflected in Absolute and Supreme Reason. 'Nature', it would seem, being the 'third' level of significance, is itself divided into two 'realms'... and these must both be 'accounted for'; in other words, we have our 'moon' hidden within the Sun,- the same moon that 'reflects' the Light of the Sun. Interestingly... Two figures in the 'garden', but of only one 'nature'... and that 'triumphant'... It is of further interest, I think, to note at this time that the 'teacher' known as Hermes, was known to the Egyptians as 'Thoth'... in other words, that was the name that they gave him, because... he wasn't from there. Nobody really knows the 'origin' of Hermes... but I think that I do. I believe that Hermes, himself, came from that island of which Sylla spoke... I believe that he brought the 'golden cups' which have been 'memorialized' in the Tarot... the 'knowledge' of these most Royal of Sciences... from the land of the Dionysian Artificers... whose 'mysteries' have been perpetuated through the ages, and in these 'modern times' by the Brothers known as Free Masons. ... from that place that we might finally call 'home'... And, in regard to the 'golden cups' and the 'grail'... we know that there are many 'chalices' or 'golden cups' of great antiquity that reside in various 'holy' settings, and are regarded variously as 'the holy grail cup of Christ'... but we also know that they can't all be the actual, 'real' 'Grail', and we also suspect that, due to their actual opulence, they cannot refer to that humble cup of 'Christ', and there is a way that all of that can actually be True... Observe closely... lolol... I propose that the majority of those most 'holy relics' are associated with the 'grail' for real, and authentic, reasons, because... they were of the number of 'golden cups' that it was said that our 'student/teacher' left the island with, to use as 'travel expenses'. They were then used, and traded, in various places and remembered as, or associated with, the actual, real 'Grail'... which is not, as also suspected, an actual, real golden cup... They are venerated today as part of the 'Mystery', but... nobody really knows why... I understand that it is coming with 'clouds'... which symbolize... 'revelation'... Maybe the 'revelation' of Saint John... 'the Divine'... A voice... crying in the wilderness... About that 'man in the myrtles'... the Initiates are said to wear crowns of myrtle, you know... He was speaking to one of those, I imagine... Well... at 7:41, you should have seen that coming... "The nature of my game..." Just rollin' dem bones, brudda... Seven, come eleven... My horse needs a new pair of shoes... ...or eight... Crazy eights... yeah... that's it...
