Now, let's tie up some loose ends on that 'cable-tow,' shall we...? The cable-tow, as we have seen (or should have, by now), is used for lowering the workman into the 'subterranean chamber' in which the 'ark' is discovered... accompanied by the proper expression for having been 'blinded by the light,' coincidentally. Or not... Subterranean chambers are features of all of the 'mysteries,' so-called, and there is a reason for that... and, in order to bring up that which is 'treasured up' there, someone has to be 'lowered'... and they have to rely implicitly on the 'hand up' of their brother, or companion, as it were... and just so, they say it was on the shores of 'Joppa,' which are said to have been extraordinarily steep. At any rate, included in the 'footnotes' (I love footnotes) was included the information that one of the 'Masters' had visited the South American Indians, and was lowered, by means of an identical cable-tow into a large subterranean cavern, held to be 'sacred places'... Now, please read the information below, and then notice the face-paint that our friend, Peter Gabriel, is wearing in the 'Shock the Monkey' video... Look familiar...? And somewhat 'clownish'... in the manner of a harlequin, say... and I have read that the 'clown' actually represents the spirits of the 'dead,' which is why they are really quite sad, if not pathetic... in spite of the eerily garish 'smile painted on their face,' if you see what I mean... New Age beliefs about Hunab Ku derive from the work of Mexican philosopher Domingo Martínez Parédez (1904–1984), who first presented his interpretation of the concept in 1953[9] and expanded upon his ideas in a subsequent book, Hunab Kú: Síntesis del pensamiento filosófico maya (1964). Martínez interpreted Hunab Ku as evidence for Maya monotheism and suggested that it was represented by the symbols of a square within a circle or a circle within a square, the square representing measurement and the circle representing motion. Martínez related Hunab Ku to concepts and symbols in Freemasonry, particularly the idea of a Great Architect of the Universe and the Masonic square and compass. It was also Martínez who first associated Hunab Ku with the expression "In Lak'ech," which he translated as "Eres mi otro yo." (In English, this means "You are my other I.") Martínez' ideas were popularized by Hunbatz Men and José Argüelles. The significance of the symbol has also been discussed by José Castillo Torre...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunab_KuThese are nice versions, and rather thought-provoking, I'm sure... "You are my other I..." I am, that I am...Can I get a witness...? And, you know what they say... Isaiah 9:6... For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. 7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this. Are we having fun yet...? I know I am... The whole world's a stage, and it has been set for a very great play, indeed... a 'Mystery Play,' if you will... a 'Bohemian Rhapsody'... With a 'Scooby Doo' ending... I'm pretty sure... Extra butter...? Popcorn is likely thanks to our South American 'brothers'... and chocolate... I'm not sure about peanuts...

I can't help noticing, and further remarking, that the comments of my dear friend and 'brother,' ahriman, are still missing from my 'forum;' I can't help wondering why... We have spent so much time together, on another 'level,' I suppose, that I had imagined that we could also be friends on this 'level,' but... I guess not; I do regret that. And I can't help recalling also that 'checking your pockets' is part of the 'drill'... In spite of your continued interest in my topics of 'conversation,' you are missed in your continued absence, although I did make a short visit back to your 'lodge,' due mainly to my own interest in my 'birthday,' which is, I'm afraid, predictably vain... I do know my own shortcomings... mostly... Well, that's all right. I'm going to post this bit that I shared with you recently in regard to your favorite subject of 'Napoleon'... due mainly to the fact that you share his 'birthday,' and that, again, is... what it is... Nevertheless, I know that you are all familiar with the painted image of Napoleon, in which he holds his hand inside his vest... Everyone makes fun of it, but it seems that nobody really understands it... See here...? This is part of the 'Masonic Mysteries,' and ritual, concerning Moses placing his 'leprous' hand into his 'bosom,' and then withdrawing it 'whole.' Master Albert Pike tells us in his "Morals and Dogma" that Napoleon was most certainly sustained by the principles of Masonry, as he fought for the right of the People to select their own leaders, and choose their own Destiny... even someone such as himself. The 'People' constitute a great Force, which is why their 'popular opinion' is of the importance... why 'memes' are 'created,' and maintained... they carry a certain 'magnetism,' or energy... This world/system is stricken with a 'sickness,'- as shown by the 'leprous hand,'- and it is shown by example that a Master will take it upon himself, and remove it again, whole... Napoleon hoped to accomplish such a thing. As have others... Ah, the lunatic fringe... I kind of miss it out there... Not to 'call out' my friend, you understand... but it seemed as if those 'empty spots' just cried your name... and I couldn't help thinking of our Napoleon... They also say that he was somewhat 'mad'... Like a 'hatter'... As a 'consolation,' I believe that there is a lovely pastry with his Name on it... And there's certainly nothing wrong with Good pastry. Now, having said that, I need to add something else at this 'juncture,' having to do with our 'Five Points of Fellowship'... Do you come for more Light...? I suggest that you stop playing 'possum' and grab the cable-tow, brother... There is something in your 'pocket,' and it's not pastry... Unless 'hot pockets' are all you care to end up with... and 'Sticky Fingers,'of course. Watch the lint... All that ever came before me were robbers and thieves...

Well, let's get back to the subject at hand... Which, I believe has to do with a 'stone,' and a 'word,' and a 'recovery,' or 'return;' one thing has to do with another... 21 I shall give thanks to You, for You have answered me, And You have become my salvation. 22 The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner stone. 23 This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes...Psalm number 118... Let's look at another piece of text; this one is from "The Odes of Solomon," number 22... 1 He who brought me down from on high, also brought me up from the regions below; 2 And He who gathers together the things that are betwixt is He also who cast me down: 3 He who scattered my enemies had existed from ancient and my adversaries: 4 He who gave me authority over bonds that I might loose them; 5 He that overthrew by my hands the dragon with seven heads: and thou hast set me over his roots that I might destroy his seed. 6 Thou wast there and didst help me, and in every place thy name was a rampart me 7 Thy right hand destroyed his wicked poison; and thy hand levelled the way for those who believe in thee. 8 And thou didst choose them from the graves and didst separate them from the dead. 9 Thou didst take dead bones and didst cover them with bodies. 10 They were motionless, and thou didst give them energy for life. 11 Thy way was without corruption, and thy face; thou didst bring thy world to corruption: that everything might be dissolved, and then renewed, 12 And that the foundation for everything might be thy rock: and on it thou didst build thy kingdom; and it became the dwelling place of the saints. Hallelujah.Which seems to echo the same prophecy given by Ezekiel, in which it is written: 37,1 With the hand of Adonai upon me, Adonai carried me out by his Spirit and set me down in the middle of the valley, and it was full of bones. 2 He had me pass by all around them — there were so many bones lying in the valley, and they were so dry! 3 He asked me, “Human being, can these bones live?” I answered, “Adonai Elohim! Only you know that!” 4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones! Say to them, ‘Dry bones! Hear what Adonai has to say! 5 To these bones Adonai Elohim says, “I will make breath enter you, and you will live. 6 I will attach ligaments to you, make flesh grow on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you. You will live, and you will know that I am Adonai.”’”
7 So I prophesied as ordered; and while I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound; it was the bones coming together, each bone in its proper place. 8 As I watched, ligaments grew on them, flesh appeared and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Next he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath! Prophesy, human being! Say to the breath that Adonai Elohim says, ‘Come from the four winds, breath; and breathe on these slain, so that they can live.’”
10 So I prophesied as ordered, and the breath came into them, and they were alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army! 11 Then he said to me, “Human being! These bones are the whole house of Isra’el; and they are saying, ‘Our bones have dried up, our hope is gone, and we are completely cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy; say to them that Adonai Elohim says, ‘My people! I will open your graves and make you get up out of your graves, and I will bring you into the land of Isra’el. 13 Then you will know that I am Adonai — when I have opened your graves and made you get up out of your graves, my people! 14 I will put my Spirit in you; and you will be alive. Then I will place you in your own land; and you will know that I, Adonai, have spoken, and that I have done it,’ says Adonai.”Which reminds me of another word, of course... It means 'marrow in the bone,' doesn't it? It does. And it turns out the corner-stone, properly understood, is actually a 'keystone'... for an Arch... it 'turns the corner,' you see? It does. And we know that story, too, don't we...? It was neither square, nor rectangular, and strangely marked... and so, it was cast aside by the 'builders of the day,' only to be recovered later from the 'rubble of the ensuing ages.' The stone which the builders rejected
Is become the head of the corner.
A metaphor from building. The ‘corner-stone’ bonding the walls together was a most important part of the structure. A large and strong stone was needed for the purpose. It is mentioned along with the foundation (Jeremiah 51:26; Job 38:6) of which it formed part (Isaiah 28:16); and so possibly the meaning here is ‘the chief cornerstone’ of the foundation. But ‘the head of the corner’ is more naturally explained to be the top-stone (Zechariah 4:7), not only bonding the walls together, but completing the building. biblehub.com/commentaries/psalms/118-22.htmAnd, just as they said, the only way out of the 'labyrinth' is to go back the same way you got in... but in reverse... If you could just remember how you got where you are, that is... And why...

We come from a far country... to help build a Temple... To recover something of inestimable value... Without hope of fee or reward... In Morals And Dogma, one of Freemasonry's most popular books, Grand Master Albert Pike (1809-1891) reveals the Templars' true purpose:
In 1118, nine Knights Crusaders in the East, among whom were Geoffroi de Saint-Omer and Hughes de Payens, consecrated themselves to religion, and took an oath between the hands of the Patriarch of Constantinople, a See always secretly or openly hostile to that of Rome from the time of Photius. The avowed object of the Templars was to protect the Christians who came to visit the Holy Places: their secret object was the rebuilding of the Temple of Solomon on the model prophesied by Ezekiel...
The Knights Templar, he continued, were from the very beginning "devoted to... opposition to the tiara of Rome and the crown of its Chiefs..." The object of the Templars, he said, was to acquire influence and wealth, then to "intrigue and at need fight to establish the Johannite or Gnostic and Kabbalistic dogma..." www.bibliotecapleyades.net/sociopolitica/templars/knights_templars01.htm

Now, let's see... what am I supposed to do with this compass? Oh, yes... "Mark Well..." How long will you waver, O faithless daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing on the earth: a woman encircles a man.
"How long will you go here and there, O faithless daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing in the earth-- A woman will encompass a man."
How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
Jeremiah 31:22 It is important at this point, I think to 'mark' a couple of 'points,' if you Will... The first, is that these 'signs' have been given, in order that you all realize that all was known... and anticipated... and that, in spite of the machinations of 'mice and men,' so to speak, that which was, and is, meant to Be, Will be... And, that it is Right... Secondly, that 'God' is true-ly no 'respecter of persons'... that even a 'child' might find 'Him,' and further, to know 'Him'... as 'He' wishes to be Known, and meant to be Known, by you all. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. That this present World/System, or 'Matrix,' for those of you who prefer that term to represent the 'false construct' (ahem) that we are operating under, was put into place just about a time, and times, and half-a-time ago, at the price of lives, and indeed, a name among the living at all... and when the 'name' was remembered, it has been with an accompanying 'sign of the cross,' or some such token against 'bad juju.' For good reason, I'm sure... after all, 'avenged sevenfold,' and in their heart of hearts, 'they' know what happened... They threw their brother, Joseph, into a 'pit' to die... certainly, they left him for dead... because their father loved him, and they were afraid that he would 'profit' most from the 'relationship;' as it turns out, his providential rescue placed them further under his 'grace' than they might have been otherwise. Thank goodness he turned out to be tolerant... You meant to do me harm...This story is just fraught with symbolism, if not actual history... and it is of great interest to note that they had a sister, as well... named Dinah... Dinah is also a 'cat'... Dinah's name means "judged," or "vindicated"... interestingly. Believe me, friends, the 'Wheel in the Sky' turns 'full circle'... Dinah, blow your horn... Just sayin'...

But, it's also true that you can't keep a Good man down, isn't that right? Let's hope so... Now, since these 'degrees' have to do with keystones, and keys... let's take a quote from their 'Guide' to the Chapter in regard to the pertinent symbolism of the 'key'... The key has been used as a symbol from very remote ages. The Egyptians employed it as the symbol of Anubis, the dog-star, because they conceived that at the rising of that star the old year was closed and a new one commenced. From this, the use of the symbol was extended to the opening and closing the place of departed spirits. At an early period it came to be used as a symbol of power, and in modern times we note this use of the key in transferring the power and authority over a city, or in giving possession of a building. It is also a symbol of secrecy, and may appropriately impress upon the mind of the initiate the importance of safely locking within his own breast those valuable truths which, amid the most bitter persecutions, have been transmitted from generation to generation, for the benefit of the true Sons of Light.'Opening and closing the place of departed spirits,' or, in other words... I have the keys to Hell and Death...The hieroglyph for 'Sirius' includes a half circle (protractor?), an elongated triangle (that much resembles a compass), and a star... interesting... It is a five-pointed star that is represented, as is the Star of Venus, shown here... And, when reversed, as the 'Baphomet,' or 'Wisdom/Sophia of the Templars'... ...and there are Five Points of Fellowship, aren't there...? There are... This evidently represents a star-map of Sirius, with each of the five points of the star corresponding to an ancient site... Of 'fellowship,' perhaps...

Oh, dear... I just lost over an hour's worth of posting, or more... You see, sometimes, I think that I'm just not supposed to say certain things, and 'bad' things happen like that; it's very disturbing, really, but I suppose it's nothing that I can't do again. And again... We were on the subject of 'grace,' and being saved by 'faith,' which turns out to be the 'substance' of things 'hoped for,' and the 'evidence' of 'things not seen.' And this 'grace,' which fills the great void between Creation and Destruction, is the place in which we find our very existence, and sustenance... for which we can only be grateful, from moment to moment... It is a 'gift'... for which we have been left a 'fitting memorial,' and the 'evidence,' so to speak... of having been 'saved by grace' that was given 'substance,' and in which I can place my own faith. Amazing grace... how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me,- I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now, I see...The subject of 'grace' is paramount to this particular degree, and before we continue, let me reiterate for you something that we covered earlier; it is important... The Royal Arch Mason cannot fail to learn further from the diligent use of these implements, that he must search to the very foundations which underlie all human knowledge if he would find that great object of all his earthly pilgrimage -- the end of his labors. Truth may be buried for a time under a cumbrous mass of error; the ruins of a better civilization may have been thrown down upon it; its very existence may be forgotten, but the diligent seeker after it will surely find it.
"Truth crushed to earth will rise again, Th' eternal years of GOD are here."
This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubabbel, saying, Not by might, nor power, but by my spirit. Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubabbel, thou shalt become a plain, and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shouting, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, the hands of Zerubabbel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the had of Zerubabbel, with those seven...From the book of the prophet Zachariah, chapter 4... and from Amos, 9:11... In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old.Runs House... Now, the location of the Ark is 'unknown' at this time... although a 'return' is expected, along with the Temple... What became of the Ark at the destruction of the temple is a question much debated among the Rabbins; but it is agreed on all hands that it was not taken to Babylon with the holy vessels. Some of the Jewish writers contend that it was taken and hidden in a rock by the prophet Jeremiah, who then sealed up this rock with his finger, writing thereon the name of GOD...And inside the Ark, were said to be certain 'tokens, that told the Truth... one of them being a token of 'grace,' and the 'evidence' of 'things hoped for' and the 'substance' of 'things unseen.' A miracle of grace, really... kept in a 'golden jar.' Moses was instructed that a golden pot should be provided... This pot is depicted on Samaritan medals in the form of an urn, with a lid or cover. The Rabbins considered the manna to be a type of the Jewish Messiah, who was to be the spiritual food of his people. It masonically teaches us that as the Israelites fed on manna from heaven, so should we spiritually feed on that TRUTH which is the great object of our investigations...This is the 'magdalene' shown holding an urn, with a lid, or cover, on it... there are many versions of this... Our 'Pretty John,' maybe...? Now, the urn that holds the manna is a 'symbol' of the 'messiah,' from what we have seen above, and so now, let's tie that in to another part of this degree which features an urn, that most Masons, and I daresay few (if any) 'lay persons' would know about, but seems extremely 'pertinent' to the case at hand, if I do say so myself... Listen to this... "Masonic tradition informs us that a Masonic memorial was erected" to none other than the slain master, Hiram Abiff, and the particulars of this monument to our 'master artificer' are most interesting. The monument is said to feature: ...a beautiful virgin, weeping over a broken column; before her, an open book; in her right hand, a sprig of acacia; in her left, an urn,- behind her stands Time, unfolding and counting the ringlets in her hair...This is titled, "The Masonic Marianne,"- 'the beautiful virgin of the Third Degree'... Again, his monument is pictured, thusly... And, shown on another man's 'apron'... The acacia, by the way, is an 'evergreen'... And, of course... let's not forget that 'god' of Rock... Jimi... Hay, Jimi... it's all 'Yellow'... So, all things considered, we see that something quite valuable has been 'buried'... deeply... under civilizations, and the rubble of the ages, that has to be 'recovered,' just as the lost Ark, by the fabled 'raiders' of such things... but the thing is, if nobody believes that it's 'lost,' who will bother looking for it? Who will think to 'replace' it? Who would even know that it's missing...? The problem is, that nobody cares about such things anymore... mostly. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
The LORD looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is one who is wise, one who seeks God.Psalm 14:2 Although, the importance of the 'project,' as a whole, has absorbed the endeavors and generated the good wishes of great and thoughtful men over the ages, even to this day... it has been anticipated... and the Truth of it has been known, as you may be beginning to see by the historical 'evidence' that I've tried to present some of, as I can, and the rest, it is my hope that you will pursue for yourselves... as men before you have pursued those 'treasures' of the 'Temple.' Now, before we go on to a most auspicious post number, and a related subject, I would like to point out why 'Zerubabbel,' or 'Zorobabel,' is important to this story... the name 'Zerubabbel' means 'seed of Babylon.' Now, the 'seed of Babylon' laid the foundation of this 'temple,' and it is therefore, evidently, a 'seed of Babylon' that will 'finish it,' according to the prophecy. And that's interesting, for a few reasons... Quite the little mystery, wouldn't you say...? It is... and maybe you are beginning to understand why 'Freemasonry,' as an 'institution,' has an importance to history that has gone mostly unguessed, as the new 'keeper' of the 'Mysteries' of the Initiates of the Ages... the 'Unknown Philosophers' that kept the Vestal fires lit for that day in which the Past finally meets the Present, and we can produce a True 'future' from the Union. And this is what your 'Masters' should have been telling you, in order that you be prepared to meet the Future, but I'm not altogether certain that they know the 'truth,' and if they do, I'm not so sure that they still want to know it... There really are 'skeletons' in the 'closet'... If not 'toys' in the 'attic'... And speaking of 'skeletons in the closet,' it's Tommy Tutone, and his favorite 'glory hole'... Jenny... Lololol... you were 'disturbed,' all right... well, somebody was 'disturbed,' I'm sure...

And so, here we are at post number 1133,- and by various routes, we have come to... a 'seed,' again. The 'seed of Babylon,' which is to become the 'hands of Zerubabbel' in finishing the 'temple.' Regarding that 'seed,' it is written... God gave the promises to Abraham and his child. And notice that the Scripture doesn't say "to his children," as if it meant many descendants. Rather, it says "to his child"--and that, of course, means Christ.
English Standard Version Now the promises were made to Abraham and to his offspring. It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.
King James Bible Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.
Interestingly, the 'manna' or 'bread' that was given as a substantial token of 'faith' was said to be no bigger than 'coriander seeds,'- very tiny. Like... mustard seeds... King James Bible It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Holman Christian Standard Bible It's like a mustard seed that, when sown in the soil, is smaller than all the seeds on the ground. And, more interestingly, the 'mustard seed' was also sown in the ground... in order that it spring forth, as a very great tree... someday... New American Standard Bible ...yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR can NEST UNDER ITS SHADE."
King James Bible But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.See that the 'birds of the air' are still of importance, and those capital letters above are not my own... they belong to the 'translation,' and were evidently used for emphasis. Now, because a 'seed' figures largely in these various prophecies, and because we have discovered what must surely be a very small 'seed' in a relatively hidden place, I think that I can go on to make a further surmise about this seed...the 'seed of Babylon.' Four blood moons come with it, to assist in its 'growth,' I imagine... and I can think of one certain piece of text that deals with a 'seed of Babylon,' and a 'birth' and a 'moon child,' so I think that I will give it, here, and now, with certain parts underlined, as usual, in order to give you pause for thought, and comparison, of the text with other things that we have learned, so far... The Birth of Babalon
What is the tumult among the stars that have shone so still till now? What are the furrows of pain and wrath upon the immortal brow?
Why is the face of God turned grey and his angels all grown white? What is the terrible ruby star that burns down the crimson night?
What is the beauty that flames so bright athwart the awful dawn? She has taken flesh, she is come to judge the thrones ye rule upon.
Quail ye kings for an end is come in the birth of BABALON.
I have walked three dreadful nights away in halls beyond despair, I have given marrow and tears and sweat and blood to make her fair.
I have lain my love and smashed my heart and filled her cup with blood, That blood might flow from the loins of woe to the cup of brotherhood.
The cities reel in the shout of steel where the sword of war is drawn. Sing ye saints for the day is come in the birth of BABALON.
Now God has called for his judgement book and seen his name therein And the grace of God and the guilt of God have spelt it out as sin
His bloody priests have clutched his robes and stained his linen gown And his victims swarm from his broken hell to drag his kingdom down.
O popes and kings and the little gods are sick and sad and wan To see the crimson star that bursts like blood upon the dawn
While trumpets sound and stars rejoice at the birth of BABALON.
BABALON is too beautiful for sight of mortal eyes She has hidden her loveliness away in lonely midnight skies,
She has clothed her beauty in robes of sin and pledged her heart to swine And loving and giving all she has brewed for saints immortal wine.
But now the darkness is riven through and the robes of sin are gone, And naked she stands as a terrible blade and a flame and a splendid song Naked in radiant mortal flesh at the Birth of BABALON.
She is come new born as a mortal maid forgetting her high estate, She has opened her arms to pain and death and dared the doom of fate,
And death and hell are at her back, but her eyes are bright with life, Her heart is high and her sword is strong to meet the deadly strife,
Her voice is sure as the judgement trump to crack the house of wrong, Though walls are high and stone is hard and the rule of hell was long
The gates shall fall and the irons break in the Birth of BABALON.
Her mouth is red and her breasts are fair and her loins are full of fire, And her lust is strong as a man is strong in the heat of her desire,
And her whoredom is holy as virtue is foul beneath the holy sky, And her kisses will wanton the world away in passion that shall not die. From 'The Book of Babalon,' by Jack Parsons... who actually was a 'rocket scientist,' by the way... hermetic.com/parsons/the-book-of-babalon.html#the-birth-of-babalonI see the 'seed of Babylon'... and a 'great day of small things,' brothers... Hallelujah... right? Now, let's research this a little bit further... as far as Abraham's 'place of origin,' and therefore, the 'nature' of his 'seed'... we find these 'facts' regarding his 'history:' On the other hand, none of the arguments arrayed against the southern Ur are conclusive:
1: It is said that the southern Ur is too far from Haran, about a thousand miles. But merchants and others in the early second millennium B.C. routinely traveled long distances. The traders who went from Ashur to Anatolia between about 1950 and 1750 B.C. followed routes that ran up to the Black Sea coast and far across central Anatolia. Their business had southerly connections into Babylonia, and letters of Babylonian merchants in the same period report their activities far up the Euphrates, at Emar, for example. Three tablets trace a route from Larsa, 25 miles north of southern Ur, to Emar, going via Haran. The route did not follow the Euphrates; perhaps to avoid hostile territory, it ran further east, up the Tigris, swinging west across Upper Mesopotamia.
2: Another objection is that a route from southern Ur to Canaan via Haran is quite roundabout. There may have been reasons for this that we cannot discover, but Ur and Haran were the two main centers for worship of the Moon-god, Sin. The names Terah (Abraham’s father) and Laban, and possibly Milcah and Sarah, may be linked to the moon cult. Terah may well have been associated with the worship of the moon (see Joshua 24:2).
3: It is said that Abraham’s nomadic lifestyle is inconsistent with the urban setting of the southern Ur. But living in tents is well attested for the early second millennium B.C. Urban scribes were well aware of tent-dwelling nomads, whom they despised. Moreover, there is nothing to say that Terah’s family was nomadic; they may have lived in a house in Ur, as the excavator, Sir Leonard Woolley, imagined. Perhaps Abraham became a nomad only when he left Haran.
4: Another objection is that the southern Ur lies west of the Euphrates, so it could not be described as “across” the river (Genesis 31:21). But the course of the Euphrates River near Ur in the second millennium B.C. is not well defined. Woolley stated that the “river washed the foot of the western rampart,” taking a new course to the east during the mid-first millennium B.C. For anyone living in the Levant, Babylonian Ur would have lain conceptually “beyond the river,” whatever the precise geography.
5: The Biblical text refers to Abraham’s birthplace as “Ur of the Chaldees.” No evidence exists for the term “Chaldean” earlier than the ninth century B.C. As Gordon observes, the term is never attached to the name Ur in Babylonian documents. Clearly someone thought it necessary to define Ur as “of the Chaldees” in the Genesis text. Following the common hypothesis that Genesis is an interweaving of three separate sources (Priestly, Yahwist and Elohist, the last not being involved here), the addition of the identifying phrase “of the Chaldees” could reflect the renewed eminence of this Ur under the Neo-Babylonian or Chaldean kings (626-539 B.C.), as Peter Machinist has suggested (in Shanks’s essay). If we suppose that the Genesis text has a much earlier origin, then “of the Chaldees” could be an explanation added to the text at a time when the location of Ur needed to be clarified. The phrase may not be part of a tradition reaching back to Abraham’s time, but the information it preserves—namely, that Abraham came from Babylonia—could well be part of the ancient tradition.fontes.lstc.edu/~rklein/Documents/Ur.htmWe still have a 'seed' from 'Babylon'... They were referred to as jaguars, because they were able to 'slip in and out of' the 'other realms,' which are normally inaccessible to this 'state' of mortal consciousness and the 'physical' conditions of this 'realm.' Theoretically, physicists view wormholes as time machines that may open gateways to parallel dimensions. They are the subjects of intense scientific research in America and Europe.
If we apply the three-dimensional approach to the two-dimensional concentric rings of Atlantis, we may hypothesize that it symbolizes a vortex. The Great Cross of Atlantis may be thought of as a Great Crossing place, a place of passage, to pass through one realm to another. Perhaps even to pass over the stars or pass through the galaxy.
As mentioned, the symbol of Atlantis is derived from the description of the enclosure constructed by the gods to protect the original sacred hill of Atlantis. As noted by Plato, the gods built this enclosure to keep humans out. Therefore, the sign of Atlantis could read “Atlantis: Property of the gods. Humans keep out.”’
In this capacity the Cross of Atlantis is identical to the Gate of Eden. Because Adam and Eve were disobedient to Yahweh, the god of Eden sent them out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:23). He placed at the east of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way (it rotated gyroscopically), to keep the way of the way of the tree of life. www.bibliotecapleyades.net/stargate/stargate08.htmNow, I emphasized a passage above for a reason... and that reason is known as 'The Planet of the Crossing'... or Nibiru... the 'Nemesis.' It is shown with wings, and it is 'dark,' perhaps as the 'matter' in which it is rumored to exist. I believe that this 'planet of the crossing' is even the intended 'destination' of the 'CERN project,' since if one were to go to such great lengths (and expense) to create a 'highway,' one must surely have a 'destination' in mind. I have also heard variously that the 'time' of 'the crossing' is at hand... which may be why things are happening at this time... and why the idea of going 'home' is so... strong... if not urgent. The best that can be hoped to 'accomplish' by it (for 'them'), is to create a horrible 'confusion' on the part of the more sensitive persons, which I think you can now see coming into play with the recent terrible suicides that I saw referred to on a program yesterday. This will serve to negate both the 'concept' and those who might actually 'participate' in it in Truth. And for you... embrace your own Truth. Know thyself... even if nobody else can. One too many times, I think, so, as far as that goes... I've already done my crying. And that is as must be, I think; let me quote you a short passage here that seems appropriate (taken from 'The Dionysian Artificers')... To the allusion of these virtues must be understood what Socrates says, that it is the business of the philosophers to study to die and to be themselves death; and as at the same time he reprobates suicide, such death cannot mean any other but philosophical death, or the exercise of what he calls the cathartic virtues. In other words, it was a 'good' day to die... as good as any... And then we get past it. I understand that tears are very 'cathartic,' by the way... And, the train kept rollin'... Great tune, by the way... hot drums... Now, since you are likely puzzled as to the 'nature' of these 'cathartic virtues,' let me give you another quote, by way of explanation, with the further note that the 'Cathars' were extremely concerned with this particular variety of 'purgation and purification;' as a matter of fact, as a further bit of 'serendipity,' the word 'Cathar' is contained within 'catharsis'... In his works prior to Poetics, Aristotle had used the term catharsis purely in its medical sense (usually referring to the evacuation of the katamenia—the menstrual fluid or other reproductive material). Here, however, he employs it as a medical metaphor. F. L. Lucas maintains, therefore, that purification and cleansing are not proper translations for catharsis; that it should rather be rendered as purgation. "It is the human soul that is purged of its excessive passions..."
Lessing sidesteps the medical attribution. He translates catharsis as a purification, an experience that brings pity and fear into their proper balance: "In real life," he explained, "men are sometimes too much addicted to pity or fear, sometimes too little; tragedy brings them back to a virtuous and happy mean." Tragedy is then a corrective; through watching tragedy, the audience learns how to feel these emotions at proper levels...
Below is an analysis by the distinguished British scholar E.R. Dodds directed at the character of Oedipus in the paradigmatic Aristotelian tragedy, Oedipus Rex, which incorporates all three of the aforementioned interpretations of catharsis: purgation, purification, intellectual clarification:
"...what fascinates us is the spectacle of a man freely choosing, from the highest motives a series of actions which lead to his own ruin. Oedipus might have left the plague to take its course; but pity for the sufferings of his people compelled him to consult Delphi. When Apollo's word came back, he might still have left the murder of Laius uninvestigated; but piety and justice required him to act. He need not have forced the truth from the reluctant Theban herdsman; but because he cannot rest content with a lie, he must tear away the last veil from the illusion in which he has lived so long. Teiresias, Jocasta, the herdsman, each in turn tries to stop him, but in vain; he must read the last riddle, the riddle of his own life. The immediate cause of Oedipus' ruin is not "fate or "the gods"—no oracle said that he must discover the truth—and still less does it lie in his own weakness; what causes his ruin is his own strength and courage, his loyalty to Thebes, and his loyalty to the truth."
